Hello there. Happy Sabbath. 00:00:01.36\00:00:03.23 Come on in. We're about to meet with the King. 00:00:03.26\00:00:05.43 ¤ ¤ 00:00:05.47\00:00:52.21 Hello. I'm Auntie Nat. It's great that you could all join 00:00:52.25\00:00:54.15 us to meet with the King. We're 00:00:54.18\00:00:55.55 about to open the Sabbath. Come 00:00:55.58\00:00:56.92 and join our worship time 00:00:56.95\00:00:58.29 together. Hello Auntie Cecily. It's just lovely to see you here 00:00:58.32\00:01:01.99 today. 00:01:02.02\00:01:03.36 It's great to be here Auntie Nat. 00:01:03.39\00:01:04.73 And hello children. It's wonderful that you're here 00:01:04.76\00:01:07.73 today as well to help us welcome the King for Sabbath. 00:01:07.76\00:01:11.20 Auntie Cecily, would you like to say a prayer please to open our 00:01:11.23\00:01:14.54 worship time. 00:01:14.57\00:01:15.90 Yes. Dear Father in heaven, thank you for all the blessings 00:01:15.94\00:01:19.37 that you have given us during the week. And thank you for the 00:01:19.41\00:01:23.21 Sabbath where we can come and rest in you. We just pray that 00:01:23.24\00:01:27.02 you would be with us during our worship time. 00:01:27.05\00:01:30.52 In Jesus' name, Amen. 00:01:30.55\00:01:32.32 Amen. Do you know that this is a great time to reflect on our 00:01:32.35\00:01:35.59 week and count the many blessings that God has sent us. 00:01:35.62\00:01:39.59 Now Shanae you have a blessing to tell us today. 00:01:39.63\00:01:41.56 Yes the blessing that I had this week was that it was my 00:01:41.63\00:01:45.93 birthday and I got a kitten for my birthday present. 00:01:45.97\00:01:50.21 Thank you for sharing that with us Shanae. That's a lovely 00:01:50.27\00:01:54.01 blessing. And Auntie Cecily you have a blessing for us as well. 00:01:54.08\00:01:57.75 Yes. Over the last six Sabbaths we've been discussing what God 00:01:57.78\00:02:03.05 is like. We've learned that God is our Deliverer, He is the I Am 00:02:03.08\00:02:08.32 He is holy and He's also compassionate or as we say God 00:02:08.36\00:02:13.73 cares about us. God's our Provider and God is Love. 00:02:13.76\00:02:19.03 And today I want to share with you that God is a God of order. 00:02:19.10\00:02:24.37 Later on we'll be studying how God spent 40 days and 40 nights 00:02:24.41\00:02:29.64 with Moses giving him some very detailed and careful 00:02:29.68\00:02:34.12 instructions. It was very important that Moses knew 00:02:34.15\00:02:38.69 exactly what God wanted because God is very particular. 00:02:38.72\00:02:43.22 You know he made the stars and the planets and the heavens and 00:02:43.26\00:02:47.03 the earth and He made you and me. And we've studied all about 00:02:47.06\00:02:51.27 that before in Genesis. Do you think that our bodies and the 00:02:51.33\00:02:55.77 way they are made are fairly complex? Yes they are. Only a 00:02:55.80\00:03:01.08 God of order and detail could do that. I Corinthians 14 tells 00:03:01.11\00:03:06.35 us that God is a God of peace, not confusion. There's no 00:03:06.38\00:03:10.52 confusion in anything that God does. Order and perfection are 00:03:10.55\00:03:16.12 seen in all His work. And when Jesus died and rose again in the 00:03:16.16\00:03:20.46 empty tomb that he had you know with his grave clothes, they 00:03:20.50\00:03:25.13 were neatly laid within. And John 27 tells us that Jesus 00:03:25.17\00:03:29.97 folder the wraps that covered Him. Even in Jesus' death and 00:03:30.01\00:03:35.21 resurrection He left an example of order. And Mrs. White tells 00:03:35.24\00:03:39.95 us about that in her book Desire of Ages. Who do you think causes 00:03:40.02\00:03:44.69 all the chaos and confusion in our world. Satan. Satan does, 00:03:44.72\00:03:50.29 that's right. So it's important to remember that our God is a 00:03:50.33\00:03:55.90 God of order. 00:03:55.93\00:03:57.27 Mmm. Praise the Lord. Thank you Auntie Cecily. Do you know 00:03:57.30\00:04:00.90 another way that we can celebrate the Sabbath is to 00:04:00.94\00:04:03.61 worship God in song. Pastor Rick has joined us again. Thanks 00:04:03.64\00:04:07.08 Pastor Rick. 00:04:07.11\00:04:08.94 Thanks Auntie Nat. Hello again. 00:04:09.01\00:04:10.88 Let's sing another song. What if 00:04:10.91\00:04:12.75 we sing When the Road is Rough and Steep? 00:04:12.78\00:04:17.82 ¤ ¤ Ready? 00:04:17.85\00:04:24.36 Try it again, eh. 00:04:52.05\00:04:53.39 Pastor Rick can we play Sing the Seventh, It's the Sabbath of 00:05:22.72\00:05:27.09 the Lord? 00:05:27.12\00:05:28.46 Yes, that's a wonderful song. Let's give it a try. 00:05:28.49\00:05:30.09 ¤ ¤ 00:05:30.13\00:05:38.73 Thanks Pastor Rick. Singing praises to God in song is such 00:06:13.64\00:06:17.94 an enjoyable part of our worship Dr. John was with us this week 00:06:17.97\00:06:22.94 sharing a blessing with us as well. So let's go and have a 00:06:22.98\00:06:26.45 look at that. 00:06:26.48\00:06:28.38 Hello boys and girls. My name is Dr. John Hammond. And we are 00:06:28.42\00:06:31.62 over at Sunnyside and we're about to leave and to do some 00:06:31.65\00:06:35.22 exploring and we're going to find something very, very 00:06:35.26\00:06:38.73 interesting. Just come with me and we'll go looking. Hello boys 00:06:38.79\00:06:47.20 and girls I'm so glad to be here and we are at Avondale College. 00:06:47.24\00:06:55.61 And this place was first established way back in 1897 and 00:06:55.64\00:07:02.12 Ellen White was living here and she supervised all the buildings 00:07:02.15\00:07:07.26 The first building was a hall, then they built the chapel. 00:07:07.29\00:07:11.86 And after 50 years some of the buildings were getting a little 00:07:11.89\00:07:16.40 bit old just like you would after 50 years. The paint was 00:07:16.43\00:07:20.97 fading and you know there wasn't enough room in the girls 00:07:21.00\00:07:25.67 dormitory to have all the students. And so they decided 00:07:25.71\00:07:30.31 to build another building and you are sitting in 00:07:30.35\00:07:34.62 this building. You know what? They didn't have enough money 00:07:34.65\00:07:37.32 and they got too old retired men and they said will you supervise 00:07:37.35\00:07:43.29 the building on this new dormitory. The bricks were so 00:07:43.32\00:07:47.13 hard to get that when they bought a load of bricks they had 00:07:47.16\00:07:50.73 to guard it all night in case somebody came and stole the 00:07:50.77\00:07:54.57 bricks because this was just after World War II and all the 00:07:54.60\00:07:58.34 soldiers had come home and they were all wanting to build houses 00:07:58.37\00:08:04.01 and you couldn't buy bricks anywhere. Well they got the 00:08:04.05\00:08:07.65 bricks going and this is all brick behind the plaster here 00:08:07.68\00:08:11.62 and the walls went up and they got to the second floor and the 00:08:11.65\00:08:15.59 walls went up further. And they got to the top floor and then 00:08:15.62\00:08:20.70 the building stopped because they needed wooden rafters to 00:08:20.76\00:08:25.47 finish the roof. And the college principle was looking at his 00:08:25.50\00:08:29.60 watch and he's saying, What time do you finish at night? Oh we 00:08:29.64\00:08:33.44 finish at five. Can you work a bit longer because the girls are 00:08:33.48\00:08:37.25 coming soon. And they said, Oh principal, we cannot work 00:08:37.28\00:08:41.85 because we hadn't got any timber Go and look everywhere. 00:08:41.88\00:08:47.12 Well they went, took every timber yard within 200 kilometer 00:08:47.16\00:08:51.33 circle of where you're sitting. And you know what they said? 00:08:51.36\00:08:56.10 Oh we're so sorry. We'd like to sell you the timber but we 00:08:56.13\00:09:00.10 haven't got any. They were so discouraged. And one day, they 00:09:00.14\00:09:04.07 went to one more place and there was the timber man and 00:09:04.11\00:09:07.84 there was the timber man. And they said, Can we buy some 00:09:07.88\00:09:11.51 timber. Yes, I'll sell you some timber. Come in. Oh, they were 00:09:11.58\00:09:15.48 so overjoyed. They were going to get the timber because the girls 00:09:15.52\00:09:19.55 were coming in a few weeks and they had to finish the roof. He 00:09:19.59\00:09:23.59 said, Now sign your name here and I will have that timber 00:09:23.63\00:09:29.93 ready for you (wait for this) two years from now. Oh. They 00:09:29.96\00:09:36.20 were so discouraged. They went out to the car. Their heads were 00:09:36.27\00:09:40.34 hung and an old man came out of the office. He trotted down 00:09:40.38\00:09:44.38 after them. He said, Excuse me. I heard you say Courenbong. Yes. 00:09:44.41\00:09:50.62 Are you from Courenbong. Yes. What are you doing? We're 00:09:50.65\00:09:54.76 building a new girls dormitory at the college. Oh, I used to 00:09:54.79\00:09:59.89 live in Courenbong and when I was a little boy, there was an 00:09:59.93\00:10:05.23 old lady now, was it Mrs. Black or Mrs. White. Ah, it was Mrs. 00:10:05.27\00:10:10.57 White and she used to bring us food because we didn't 00:10:10.61\00:10:13.44 have food in the house. 00:10:13.48\00:10:14.81 She brought us clothes. Is she still alive? And 00:10:14.84\00:10:18.88 Jeff and Will the two old men said, I'm sorry. She died 50 00:10:18.91\00:10:23.72 years ago. Well because she was so kind, I will get the timber 00:10:23.75\00:10:34.36 to your college. When? You will have that timber, when please? 00:10:34.40\00:10:42.50 Tomorrow. It arrived. And you know Will and Jeff, they thought 00:10:42.54\00:10:50.61 of a text in the Bible. It's a strange text in 00:10:50.65\00:10:53.88 Ecclesiastes 11 that said if you throw your bread on the water 00:10:53.92\00:10:59.39 after many days it'll come back to you and that means that if 00:10:59.42\00:11:03.89 you are kind to somebody and you forget all about it and many 00:11:03.93\00:11:08.40 years later you might get your reward. Now 50 years later they 00:11:08.43\00:11:12.90 got their reward and they just finished this building, just got 00:11:12.93\00:11:17.87 the roof up on time. And that is the story of Andre Hall and the 00:11:17.91\00:11:22.81 two men when you go outside, just outside that door there 00:11:22.84\00:11:27.12 there is a plaque on the wall and it is Mr. G. W. Richardson 00:11:27.15\00:11:32.89 and Pastor T. W. Hammond. He was real and he was my grandfather. 00:11:32.92\00:11:37.83 And he often used to tell me the story how God blessed this place 00:11:37.86\00:11:42.80 After 50 years, they cast their bread upon the water and it came 00:11:42.83\00:11:47.74 back to them. Thank you boys and girls. 00:11:47.77\00:11:50.34 Hi boys and girls. Happy Sabbath Welcome back to our Bible study. 00:11:50.37\00:11:54.14 I hope you know by now to have your Bibles ready so you can 00:11:54.18\00:11:57.45 read along with us. Come in and study with us. Sarah you have a 00:11:57.48\00:12:00.72 prayer for us. 00:12:00.75\00:12:02.68 Dear God, thank you for this time we're spending with you. 00:12:02.72\00:12:06.09 Thank you for our Bibles. Be with us now as we read your word 00:12:06.12\00:12:09.42 and help the children to grasp what they read. 00:12:09.46\00:12:11.46 In Jesus' name, Amen. 00:12:11.49\00:12:12.99 Amen. Now Sarah can you remember what we studied about last 00:12:13.03\00:12:16.36 Sabbath. 00:12:16.40\00:12:17.77 How Jesus gave the Israelites the 10 commandments. 00:12:17.80\00:12:19.73 Were they just for the Israelites? Who else 00:12:19.77\00:12:22.77 were they for? 00:12:22.80\00:12:24.14 They were for the whole world, for me and you. 00:12:24.17\00:12:26.24 That's right, they were weren't they? So we're going to begin 00:12:26.27\00:12:29.18 our study now. Nick can you please read Exodus 24:16-18. 00:12:29.21\00:12:36.75 Now the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai and the cloud 00:12:36.79\00:12:41.16 six days and on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the 00:12:41.22\00:12:45.59 midst of the cloud. The sight of the glory of the Lord was like 00:12:45.66\00:12:49.73 consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the 00:12:49.76\00:12:53.74 children of Israel. So Moses went into the midst of the cloud 00:12:53.77\00:12:58.47 and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain 00:12:58.51\00:13:03.14 40 days and 40 nights. 00:13:03.18\00:13:06.01 Mmm. So in verse 16 it tells us that Moses had to wait for six 00:13:06.05\00:13:09.08 days on the mountain before he could go into the presence of 00:13:09.12\00:13:12.79 God. On the seventh day, the Sabbath, Moses went in to speak 00:13:12.82\00:13:16.42 with the Lord. This is before he spent 40 days and 40 nights with 00:13:16.46\00:13:21.83 God. So Moses was away from the encampment of the children 00:13:21.86\00:13:25.47 of Israel for around six and a half weeks. That's a long time 00:13:25.50\00:13:29.87 isn't it? I wonder why Moses had to wait six days to go in to be 00:13:29.90\00:13:34.08 the Lord. And Dean has our Torch Light to read and let's just see 00:13:34.11\00:13:38.25 what Mrs. White's writings shine on that verse for us. 00:13:38.28\00:13:41.68 Thanks Dean for reading that for us. 00:13:41.72\00:13:45.72 Even this favored servant of God 00:13:45.75\00:13:47.52 could not at once approach into 00:13:47.56\00:13:49.22 His presence and endure the exhibitions of his glory. 00:13:49.29\00:13:53.23 Six days must be employed in devoting himself to God by 00:13:53.26\00:13:57.17 searching of heart, meditation and prayer before you could be 00:13:57.20\00:14:00.64 prepared for direct communication with 00:14:00.67\00:14:03.00 his maker. Upon the seventh day, which was the Sabbath, Moses was 00:14:03.04\00:14:07.18 called up into the cloud. 00:14:07.21\00:14:09.24 Mmm. So God was preparing Moses to receive a very special 00:14:09.28\00:14:13.48 message from Him. Let's continue and see what that was. 00:14:13.52\00:14:18.55 Anna, you're going to read our next verse, Exodus 25:8-9. 00:14:18.59\00:14:24.46 And let them make me a sanctuary that I may dwell among them. 00:14:24.49\00:14:29.13 According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the 00:14:29.16\00:14:33.77 tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, 00:14:33.80\00:14:35.14 just so you shall make it. 00:14:35.17\00:14:36.74 So God wanted them to build a sanctuary so God can come and 00:14:36.81\00:14:41.78 live among them. Another name for the sanctuary is the 00:14:41.81\00:14:44.61 tabernacle. Let's continue reading just to see what it's 00:14:44.65\00:14:49.55 all about. Ben can you read Exodus 25:10-11, 17-18 and 20-21 00:14:49.58\00:14:54.46 for us please. 00:14:54.49\00:14:56.79 And they shall make an ark of acacia wood; two and a half 00:14:56.83\00:15:00.00 cubits shall be its length, a cubit and a half its width and 00:15:00.03\00:15:03.50 a cubit and a half its height. And you shall overlay it with 00:15:03.53\00:15:07.94 pure gold inside and out. You shall overlay it and shall make 00:15:07.97\00:15:12.07 on it a molding of gold all around. You shall make a mercy 00:15:12.11\00:15:15.84 seat of pure gold. Two and a half cubits shall be its length 00:15:15.88\00:15:19.88 and a cubit and a half its width and you shall make two cherubim 00:15:19.91\00:15:24.09 of gold of hammered work. You shall make them at the two ends 00:15:24.12\00:15:27.72 of the mercy seat. And the cherubim shall stretch out their 00:15:27.76\00:15:31.59 wings above covering the mercy seat with their wings and they 00:15:31.63\00:15:35.03 shall face one another. The faces of the cherubim shall be 00:15:35.06\00:15:38.37 toward the mercy seat. You shall put the mercy seat on top of the 00:15:38.40\00:15:42.14 ark and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I will give 00:15:42.17\00:15:45.87 you. Wow. Do you know that Auntie 00:15:45.91\00:15:48.54 Cecily has some very, very special things to show us. Can 00:15:48.58\00:15:52.45 you show us the ark of the covenant Auntie Cecily and 00:15:52.48\00:15:56.32 what's inside it? 00:15:56.35\00:15:57.69 I'll get Sarah to hold the ark. Would you like to take the lid 00:15:57.72\00:16:03.32 off? We've got the 10 commandments in stone 00:16:03.36\00:16:08.66 inside the ark. We've got the pot of manna and we've got 00:16:08.70\00:16:16.40 Aaron's rod that budded. 00:16:16.44\00:16:18.07 And we haven't spoken about that yet but we'll study about 00:16:18.11\00:16:20.94 Aaron's budded rod in the line of study. Thank you Auntie 00:16:20.98\00:16:24.51 Cecily. It's beautiful isn't it. It is. Thanks for showing us 00:16:24.55\00:16:29.82 that. Let's continue to read what else God reveals to Moses. 00:16:29.88\00:16:35.12 Sarah you've actually got our next reading in 00:16:35.16\00:16:37.53 Exodus 25:23-25 and 30. 00:16:37.56\00:16:42.90 You shall also make a table of acacia wood. Two cubits shall be 00:16:42.93\00:16:47.70 its length, a cubit its width and a cubit and a half its 00:16:47.74\00:16:52.41 height. And you shall overlay it with pure gold and make a 00:16:52.44\00:16:55.98 molding of gold all around. You shall make for it a frame of a 00:16:56.01\00:17:00.18 handbreadth all around and you shall make a gold molding for 00:17:00.22\00:17:04.52 the frame all around. And you shall set the showbread on the 00:17:04.55\00:17:08.79 table before me always. 00:17:08.82\00:17:10.66 So Aunt Cecily, can you show us the table of showbread. All gold 00:17:10.69\00:17:15.53 and beautiful too. That's lovely. 00:17:15.56\00:17:17.80 Ben you want to put that on the table? 00:17:17.83\00:17:20.07 Thank you Ben. Can you put that on the table so the children at 00:17:20.10\00:17:21.80 home can see. Nick can you please read Exodus 25:31-32. 00:17:21.84\00:17:28.81 You shall also make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand 00:17:28.84\00:17:35.08 shall be of hammered work. Its shaft, its branches, its bowls, 00:17:35.12\00:17:40.59 its ornamental knobs and flowers shall be of one piece and six 00:17:40.66\00:17:45.13 branches shall come out of its sides. Three branches of the 00:17:45.16\00:17:49.10 lampstand out of one side and three branches of the lampstand 00:17:49.13\00:17:53.03 out of the other side. 00:17:53.54\00:17:54.87 Mmm. Sounds very beautiful. If we were to continue reading the 00:17:54.90\00:17:58.67 Bible it tells us it had almond blossoms carved all over it 00:17:58.71\00:18:02.04 which must have been stunning. Aunt Cecily can you show us that 00:18:02.08\00:18:07.52 Isn't that lovely. Now if we were to read Exodus 26 and part 00:18:07.58\00:18:13.09 of 27 God explains in detail how he wants the tabernacle and 00:18:13.12\00:18:17.99 outer curtains in the courtyards to be made. The detail is very, 00:18:18.03\00:18:22.30 very specific and we're going to study about that in a later 00:18:22.33\00:18:26.10 study, but we have a poster up here on the board and we have a 00:18:26.13\00:18:29.87 picture of what the sanctuary looks like. Okay, Dean 00:18:29.90\00:18:34.68 Exodus 27:1-2. You're going to read that for us. 00:18:34.74\00:18:39.45 You shall make an altar of acacia wood five cubits long and 00:18:39.51\00:18:46.19 five cubits wide. The altar shall be square and its height 00:18:46.25\00:18:51.76 shall be three cubits. You shall make its horns on its four 00:18:51.79\00:18:56.60 corners. It's horns shall be of one piece with it and you shall 00:18:56.63\00:19:01.40 overlay it with bronze. 00:19:01.44\00:19:03.41 Okay thanks Dean for that. This is the brazen altar. It's huge 00:19:03.44\00:19:08.14 isn't it. Must have been very heavy for them to carry through 00:19:08.18\00:19:12.91 the desert. But this is where they burnt the animals so this 00:19:12.98\00:19:17.75 would have had to fit a huge bull. That's very big isn't it? 00:19:17.79\00:19:22.09 We're going to talk a little bit more in a later study. Anna, 00:19:22.12\00:19:26.49 you're going to read our next verse: Exodus 28:2 and 4 and 00:19:26.53\00:19:30.87 this tells us what God wants the priests to wear. 00:19:30.90\00:19:33.07 And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother for glory 00:19:33.10\00:19:38.04 and for beauty. And these are the garments which they shall 00:19:38.07\00:19:42.64 make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a skillfully woven tunic 00:19:42.71\00:19:47.25 a turban and a sash. So they shall make holy garments for 00:19:47.28\00:19:52.19 Aaron your brother and his sons that he may minister to me as 00:19:52.25\00:19:57.13 priest. Thanks Anna. Now again, we have 00:19:57.16\00:20:00.20 a picture up here on the board, just a picture there on the side 00:20:00.23\00:20:04.80 and it shows the priest wearing the garments, very, very 00:20:04.83\00:20:09.00 intricate. And if you were to continue reading chapter 28, it 00:20:09.04\00:20:15.61 would tell us in very much detail on how God wanted them 00:20:15.64\00:20:18.95 to be made. And we're going to talk a little bit more about 00:20:18.98\00:20:22.25 that another time. Now Ben, Exodus 30:1-3. 00:20:22.28\00:20:28.76 You shall make an altar to burn incense on it and you shall make 00:20:28.82\00:20:35.03 it out of acacia wood. A cubit shall be its length and a cubit 00:20:35.06\00:20:39.67 width. It shall be square and two cubits shall be its height. 00:20:39.70\00:20:44.01 Its horns shall be of one piece with it and you shall overlay 00:20:44.04\00:20:48.31 its top, its sides all around and its horns with pure gold. 00:20:48.34\00:20:52.88 And you shall make for it a molding of gold all around. 00:20:52.91\00:20:56.45 Thanks Ben. Now Auntie Cecily here has got the altar of 00:20:56.48\00:21:00.26 incense for us. Thanks Cecily. It's beautiful isn't it? 00:21:00.29\00:21:03.73 I hope you're seeing these at home children because they 00:21:03.76\00:21:07.10 really are magnificent pieces, lovely. Okay now this was a very 00:21:07.13\00:21:12.40 special piece of furniture and it's where God wanted something 00:21:12.43\00:21:17.64 specifically to be burnt on it. Sarah let's read that. 00:21:17.67\00:21:22.21 Exodus 30:34-36. 00:21:22.24\00:21:24.88 And the Lord said to Moses, Take sweet spices, stacte and onycha 00:21:24.91\00:21:32.89 and galbanum, and pure frankincense with these sweet 00:21:32.92\00:21:36.59 spices; there shall be equal amounts of each. You shall make 00:21:36.62\00:21:40.70 of these an incense, a compound according to the art of a 00:21:40.76\00:21:44.77 perfumer, salted, pure and holy. And you shall beat some of it 00:21:44.80\00:21:50.14 very fine and put some of it before the testimony in the 00:21:50.17\00:21:53.51 tabernacle of meeting where I will meet with you. It shall be 00:21:53.58\00:21:57.25 most holy to you. 00:21:57.28\00:22:00.18 Wow. So what we just read is a very special combination of 00:22:00.22\00:22:03.85 ingredients and it was to be used for God only. No one could 00:22:03.89\00:22:06.96 make it up for themselves and use it for their own personal 00:22:06.99\00:22:11.63 use. It was God's special recipe strict copyright. Okay, Ella 00:22:11.66\00:22:16.97 you've got our next reading to read. Exodus 30:17-19 please. 00:22:17.00\00:22:22.74 Then the Lord spoke to Moses to say: You shall also make a laver 00:22:22.77\00:22:27.34 of bronze, with its base also of bronze, for washing. You shall 00:22:27.38\00:22:31.41 put it between the tabernacle of meeting and the altar. You shall 00:22:31.45\00:22:35.28 put water in it, for Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands 00:22:35.32\00:22:39.12 and their feet in the water from it. 00:22:39.15\00:22:42.56 Okay, now Aunt Cecily has a beautiful bronze laver. Thank 00:22:42.59\00:22:46.16 you Aunt Cecily. Now God wanted to remind the children of Israel 00:22:46.19\00:22:50.57 of something. Let's read our memory verse that's found in 00:22:50.60\00:22:54.60 Exodus 31:13. Let's read that together. 00:22:54.64\00:23:00.18 Speak also to the children of Israel saying: Surely my 00:23:00.21\00:23:06.21 Sabbaths you shall keep for it is a sign between me and you 00:23:06.28\00:23:11.35 throughout your generations that you may know that I am the Lord 00:23:11.39\00:23:17.39 who sanctifies you. 00:23:17.43\00:23:18.89 So God is giving Moses the instructions again to keep the 00:23:18.93\00:23:23.47 Sabbath just in case the Israelites thought it was okay 00:23:23.50\00:23:26.97 to build the sanctuary on the Sabbath. God didn't want them 00:23:27.04\00:23:30.47 to build His house on the Sabbath. Okay Nick, 00:23:30.51\00:23:33.44 Exodus 31:18 please. Can you read that? 00:23:33.48\00:23:37.01 And when he had made an end of speaking with him on Mount 00:23:37.05\00:23:42.45 Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the testimony, tablets of 00:23:42.48\00:23:47.86 stone written with the finger of God. 00:23:47.89\00:23:52.06 So God has written the 10 commandments on stone with His 00:23:52.09\00:23:54.56 own finger so that they'll have them forever as a memorial and 00:23:54.63\00:23:58.63 as we've studied they were placed in the ark of the 00:23:58.67\00:24:01.80 covenant just like Auntie Cecily showed you at the beginning. 00:24:01.87\00:24:05.14 Thank you boys and girls for joining us today in reading the 00:24:05.17\00:24:08.78 word. This Bible study today shows us we serve an amazing 00:24:08.81\00:24:12.21 God. God loved the children of Israel so much that he wanted 00:24:12.25\00:24:15.58 to dwell among them in a beautiful place called the 00:24:15.62\00:24:18.29 sanctuary. We have a seven day devotional available which 00:24:18.35\00:24:21.66 focuses more in depth on what we have learnt today. Here is 00:24:21.69\00:24:24.96 how you can access it. 00:24:24.99\00:24:26.49 Hey boys and girls, like Auntie Nat said you can go onto our 00:24:26.53\00:24:30.43 website to access our daily devotionals at 00:24:30.47\00:24:34.10 www.adaywiththeking.com and while you're there you can 00:24:34.14\00:24:37.67 also check out Teddy's blog. He's posted some really cool 00:24:37.71\00:24:41.34 photos of us making the show. He also talks about it as well. 00:24:41.38\00:24:45.71 He even posted about his visit to the vet. So hop online today. 00:24:45.75\00:24:50.09 When we keep the Sabbath, we get to know God better and 00:24:50.12\00:24:54.32 realize how much He wants to build a relationship with us. 00:24:54.36\00:24:57.69 One way to strengthen your relationship with the Lord is to 00:24:57.73\00:25:01.30 read and study your Bibles. We want to encourage you to read 00:25:01.33\00:25:04.83 your Bibles not only on the Sabbath day but every day. 00:25:04.87\00:25:08.44 Auntie Nat can you please tell us what we're going to study 00:25:08.47\00:25:11.47 about next week? 00:25:11.51\00:25:13.98 Sure. Because today's lesson was so detailed we're going to 00:25:14.01\00:25:17.38 learn more about the sanctuary in a later lesson, but next week 00:25:17.45\00:25:20.42 we're going to see and we're going to read and study about 00:25:20.45\00:25:23.95 what happens when a promise is broken. Please don't miss next 00:25:23.99\00:25:27.36 week. It's a very important study. Aunt Cecily will we go 00:25:27.39\00:25:30.29 over our memory verse that we learnt in our study today? 00:25:30.33\00:25:33.13 Yes. Children are you ready to do that? Let's read it together. 00:25:33.19\00:25:39.37 Exodus 31:13- Speak also to the children of Israel saying: 00:25:39.43\00:25:45.47 Surely my Sabbaths you shall keep for it is a sign between me 00:25:45.54\00:25:51.58 and you throughout your generations that you may know 00:25:51.61\00:25:56.38 that I am the Lord who sanctifies you. 00:25:56.42\00:25:59.99 Children let's sing our blessing song to the boys and girls at 00:26:00.02\00:26:04.23 home. Can you turn around? 00:26:04.26\00:26:08.46 ¤May God bless you and keep you and fill your heart with love¤ 00:26:08.50\00:26:25.98 ¤May God guide and protect you and watch you from above¤ 00:26:26.01\00:26:36.26 ¤And Sabbath after Sabbath we greet the day of rest¤ 00:26:36.29\00:26:47.14 ¤The day the King of glory has sanctified and blessed¤ 00:26:47.17\00:26:57.95 ¤Good bye my friend till we meet again¤ 00:26:57.98\00:27:02.25 ¤For another day with the King¤ 00:27:02.28\00:27:07.76 Good bye, good bye. See you next Sabbath. 00:27:07.82\00:27:12.49 ¤ ¤ 00:27:12.53\00:27:56.60
