Previously on Destination 1040. 00:00:00.73\00:00:02.56 This is Nirobindu das, and for the last five years 00:00:02.60\00:00:05.93 he has been the Gospel Outreach Coordinator for West Bengal 00:00:05.97\00:00:09.27 here in India. 00:00:09.30\00:00:10.34 Both Nirobindu and his wife Rita, are passionate 00:00:10.37\00:00:13.01 about spreading the Gospel to the people of India 00:00:13.04\00:00:15.48 and have devoted their lives to missionary work. 00:00:15.51\00:00:18.15 In a country like India, friendship 00:00:18.18\00:00:20.28 evangelism is really going to be one of the most effective ways 00:00:20.32\00:00:24.15 that you can reach out to your neighbors. 00:00:24.19\00:00:26.89 So back in 2013, one of the Gospel 00:00:26.92\00:00:29.29 Outreach Bible workers started a small home church, 00:00:29.32\00:00:31.76 and as it continued to grow, there just wasn't enough room 00:00:31.79\00:00:34.56 for the people to meet in the home. 00:00:34.60\00:00:36.83 So what did they do? 00:00:36.87\00:00:37.87 They built a church out of bamboo and plastic. 00:00:37.90\00:00:41.04 Now they are quite literally running out of room 00:00:41.20\00:00:43.47 in this church behind me And that's a good problem to have. 00:00:43.51\00:00:46.51 But the exciting thing about this story is 00:00:46.54\00:00:49.34 the Lord has blessed someone donated. 00:00:49.38\00:00:51.91 So right behind the plastic church is a new church 00:00:51.95\00:00:55.92 that's being built for the believers. 00:00:55.95\00:00:58.62 Are we ready to lay it all on the line for Jesus? 00:00:58.65\00:01:01.79 Are we prepared to lay down our lives for a friend? 00:01:02.12\00:01:06.33 They have started the process 00:01:56.38\00:01:57.88 of putting the pillars in for the new church here. 00:01:57.91\00:02:01.08 Up until now, as you know, they've been worshiping 00:02:03.02\00:02:06.22 in this plastic church behind me. 00:02:06.25\00:02:08.62 But every year it always gets destroyed 00:02:08.66\00:02:12.23 or at least damaged 00:02:12.26\00:02:13.60 with all the cyclones that they have in this area. 00:02:13.63\00:02:16.67 And so they're finally getting a more permanent structure. 00:02:16.70\00:02:21.57 When it's rainy season apparently, the water will be up 00:02:21.60\00:02:26.01 to the height of those pillars. 00:02:26.04\00:02:27.88 And so once they have enough donations, 00:02:27.91\00:02:30.95 they will have the floor up at that height to prevent 00:02:31.08\00:02:34.92 too much flood damage during rainy season. 00:02:35.32\00:02:38.39 Someone graciously donated enough money 00:02:39.22\00:02:41.99 for them to build pillars and put ten on the roof 00:02:42.02\00:02:46.03 for the church. 00:02:46.46\00:02:47.60 And then as money comes in, they'll continue building 00:02:47.60\00:02:50.30 and adding more brick and finish it to be an actual structure. 00:02:50.33\00:02:54.50 Missionary life! 00:03:26.87\00:03:29.50 Are you washing the clothes from the water in this pond? 00:03:29.54\00:03:32.31 I am. 00:03:32.34\00:03:35.41 This pond is utilized 00:03:35.98\00:03:37.11 for a lot of things. 00:03:37.15\00:03:41.75 Everybody's watching this event. 00:03:51.46\00:03:54.50 Well, what do you think of your new hair? 00:04:05.27\00:04:07.94 I love it so much. 00:04:07.98\00:04:13.68 So that evening, 00:04:13.72\00:04:14.85 13 of us piled into a vehicle only meant to hold four 00:04:14.88\00:04:18.05 and traveled 30 minutes to an area 00:04:18.09\00:04:20.06 where our Bible worker and his wife have started 00:04:20.09\00:04:22.52 a home church. 00:04:22.56\00:04:25.63 What this couple is doing here in West Bengal is the perfect 00:04:30.30\00:04:33.30 example of what the Gospel Outreach model is all about. 00:04:33.34\00:04:39.31 Showing kindness to others, 00:04:39.34\00:04:43.18 introducing people to Jesus, raising up new congregations, 00:04:43.21\00:04:46.48 and then training others to lead and to raise up new disciples. 00:04:46.51\00:04:50.82 This is a Bible worker's job description. 00:04:51.15\00:04:54.22 So we just traveled 17 kilometers to the Bay of Bengal, 00:04:54.52\00:04:57.76 and we're in a little village right now. 00:04:57.79\00:04:59.56 And I want to show you what a home church is all about. 00:04:59.59\00:05:03.03 Wants a new congregation 00:05:24.69\00:05:25.99 is well established and self-sustaining, 00:05:26.02\00:05:28.69 this gives our Bible workers the opportunity to move on 00:05:28.72\00:05:32.29 to new, unreached areas and to continue their work. Yes. 00:05:32.33\00:05:49.08 The man knows what he's doing. 00:05:52.68\00:05:55.75 Nirobindu's wife Rita holds 00:05:56.62\00:05:59.42 multiple degrees in nursing 00:05:59.45\00:06:00.89 and has spent many years working as such. 00:06:00.92\00:06:03.32 She has used her knowledge in this area to teach and train 00:06:03.36\00:06:06.53 our Bible workers in West Bengal 00:06:06.56\00:06:08.70 to provide basic health services to their communities. 00:06:08.73\00:06:11.80 This has been an invaluable tool for our Bible workers 00:06:12.00\00:06:15.00 who have been able to show the love of Jesus in this way. 00:06:15.04\00:06:18.11 As we know, medical ministry can be an entering wedge 00:06:18.54\00:06:21.81 into sharing Jesus with others in a country like India. 00:06:21.84\00:06:25.51 Oftentimes, this is the only way that you can connect with 00:06:25.55\00:06:28.65 your neighbors. 00:06:28.68\00:06:29.38 Sunday night markets are some of the busiest 00:06:41.66\00:06:43.77 and craziest things I have ever seen in India. 00:06:43.80\00:06:47.04 Within just a couple of hours, a town square can turn into 00:06:47.40\00:06:50.71 a bustling market straight out of Bible times. 00:06:50.74\00:06:53.81 He's played a couple of times. 00:07:14.00\00:07:17.03 Our vehicle has arrived. 00:07:19.80\00:07:22.00 Where are we going Joy? 00:07:22.04\00:07:23.57 Mousuni island. Mo, say it again. 00:07:23.61\00:07:26.71 Mousuni island. 00:07:26.84\00:07:28.01 Mousuni? 00:07:28.04\00:07:28.48 Mousuni Island. 00:07:28.51\00:07:31.55 So that's the boat that we're taking to the island. 00:07:44.79\00:07:47.10 And the island is actually really close. 00:07:47.13\00:07:49.06 I can't imagine it's going to take very long to get to that 00:07:49.10\00:07:52.10 island. 00:07:52.13\00:07:55.20 Here's the drone. 00:07:56.84\00:07:57.84 Are we going to fly the drone? That's up to you. 00:07:57.87\00:08:00.24 You are the flyer of the drone. 00:08:00.28\00:08:01.94 The pilot of the drone. 00:08:01.98\00:08:03.28 Do you think we should fly the drone? 00:08:03.31\00:08:05.35 I don't know. What do you think? 00:08:05.38\00:08:07.45 This is the path of natural disaster. 00:08:26.23\00:08:29.24 Every year, at least once. 00:08:29.27\00:08:31.57 There will be cyclones. 00:08:31.61\00:08:33.31 In 2020, there was a super cyclone known as Amphan, 00:08:33.34\00:08:38.31 during which thousands and thousands of houses 00:08:38.35\00:08:41.68 were blown off their roofs. 00:08:42.12\00:08:45.19 We saw 00:08:45.22\00:08:46.99 people in the boats leaving their island 00:08:47.02\00:08:50.09 to nowhere kind of, they did not know where to go 00:08:50.53\00:08:53.60 because part of that island had submerged. 00:08:53.93\00:08:56.97 At least 84 00:09:00.54\00:09:01.30 people are now known to have died 00:09:01.34\00:09:03.00 in one of the most powerful 00:09:03.04\00:09:04.04 cyclones to hit India and Bangladesh for years. 00:09:04.07\00:09:07.14 Cyclone Amphan has hit northeastern India 00:09:08.18\00:09:10.61 and Bangladesh, where millions 00:09:10.65\00:09:12.25 are hunkering down in emergency shelters. 00:09:12.28\00:09:15.12 The massive storm is packing a dangerous hurricane 00:09:15.15\00:09:17.69 force winds and authorities say 00:09:17.72\00:09:19.42 it could trigger devastating floods 00:09:19.45\00:09:21.49 along the low lying coast. 00:09:21.52\00:09:23.79 Uprooted trees, brought down electricity and telephone lines 00:09:23.83\00:09:27.00 and flattened houses in the western states 00:09:27.03\00:09:29.30 of West Bengal and Odisha and south west Bangladesh. 00:09:29.33\00:09:32.47 Our volunteers Gospel Outreach Volunteers. 00:09:33.30\00:09:35.97 Global Mission Volunteers, Workers. 00:09:36.00\00:09:38.24 We contributed and collected some funds 00:09:38.27\00:09:40.38 from some rich people. 00:09:40.41\00:09:42.51 We were able to feed those migrants for a few days. 00:09:42.54\00:09:46.51 People are very resilient. 00:09:48.02\00:09:49.28 Even though there are cyclones, yet they live here. 00:09:49.32\00:09:52.35 Sometimes I think 00:09:52.39\00:09:53.59 knowing the natural disaster that it would come every year, 00:09:53.62\00:09:57.09 why can't the people move away from here? 00:09:57.13\00:09:59.76 But they're 00:09:59.79\00:10:00.96 attached to this place and they have nothing else to do. 00:10:00.96\00:10:03.26 Fishing. Fishing. 00:10:04.37\00:10:05.50 They survive with fish. 00:10:05.53\00:10:08.60 Every time they rebuild. 00:10:15.11\00:10:16.58 And you probably have seen the poor people 00:10:16.61\00:10:19.91 their huts made of clay and bamboo sticks, 00:10:19.95\00:10:23.55 and the roof, they are sometimes tin. 00:10:23.59\00:10:27.99 When people provide them with tin tin, 00:10:28.02\00:10:29.86 Everybody cannot afford. 00:10:29.89\00:10:32.89 Having gone through all these things 00:10:32.93\00:10:37.03 they survive happily with meager food and water. 00:10:37.07\00:10:41.04 And another difficulty they have, as we say 00:10:41.70\00:10:44.24 water, water everywhere but there is no water to drink. 00:10:44.27\00:10:47.44 There's no water to drink salty water. 00:10:48.08\00:10:49.81 After less than a ten 00:10:51.15\00:10:52.31 minute ferry ride, we're on the island now. 00:10:52.35\00:10:55.42 So the story goes that we actually have a GO Bible worker 00:10:56.25\00:11:00.12 that lives just off the island and she works here, 00:11:00.16\00:11:04.89 but she's being trained and mentored by two of our other 00:11:05.33\00:11:09.46 GO workers, the ones that actually started 00:11:09.50\00:11:11.20 the plastic church. 00:11:11.23\00:11:13.20 And it's just created this awesome team. 00:11:13.23\00:11:16.24 And this island is learning about Jesus because of this. 00:11:16.27\00:11:19.34 Washing the feet of a visitor 00:11:24.95\00:11:26.35 is very traditional in this part of India. 00:11:26.38\00:11:29.18 We are here visiting a church members house 00:11:29.22\00:11:31.42 where a small group of Hindus meet multiple times a week 00:11:31.45\00:11:34.36 to learn about Jesus. 00:11:34.39\00:11:37.46 I was humbled when I realized that many of these people 00:12:05.72\00:12:08.29 cannot afford their own Bible or their own hymnal, 00:12:08.32\00:12:11.76 and so they will copy songs from our Bible Workers hymnal. 00:12:11.79\00:12:15.66 They will copy 00:12:15.70\00:12:17.03 their favorite passages from our Bible workers Bible 00:12:17.07\00:12:20.20 so that they can keep those things close to them. 00:12:20.54\00:12:23.27 This is something that I will never be able 00:12:23.30\00:12:25.27 to relate to in my life, and it made me realize just how 00:12:25.31\00:12:28.34 blessed I am. 00:12:28.38\00:12:29.18 Now, as you may have noticed, this home is very new, 00:12:32.11\00:12:34.08 and that is because 00:12:34.12\00:12:35.48 the previous home was destroyed 00:12:35.52\00:12:37.02 a little over a year ago in a typhoon. 00:12:37.05\00:12:39.05 Once the home was destroyed, 00:12:39.09\00:12:40.36 the new believers had nowhere to meet. 00:12:40.39\00:12:42.22 And so they were meeting just outside 00:12:42.26\00:12:44.03 under a tree in the dirt. 00:12:44.06\00:12:46.06 The owner of this home 00:12:46.09\00:12:47.03 was very distraught 00:12:47.03\00:12:48.13 and she prayed to God, asking him what she should do, 00:12:48.16\00:12:51.30 as she did not have enough money to build a new home. 00:12:51.33\00:12:54.40 After praying earnestly, it was impressed upon her that 00:12:54.77\00:12:57.91 no matter how many materials she could afford, 00:12:57.94\00:13:00.71 that would be enough. 00:13:00.74\00:13:02.81 So trusting the Lord, she went and purchased as many materials 00:13:02.84\00:13:06.15 as she could afford and hired a builder 00:13:06.18\00:13:08.15 to come and build the home. 00:13:08.18\00:13:09.55 When the builder arrived, he laughed at her and said, 00:13:10.52\00:13:12.62 There are not enough materials to build this house. 00:13:12.65\00:13:15.59 With this much, You can't do it. 00:13:15.62\00:13:18.73 You need more. 00:13:18.76\00:13:20.10 She said, Don't talk to me like that. 00:13:20.13\00:13:21.70 Do that It must be done. 00:13:21.73\00:13:23.47 It will be done with what I have brought. 00:13:23.50\00:13:25.43 And my God will help me build. 00:13:25.47\00:13:27.20 She said this one stick was extra. 00:13:27.24\00:13:31.11 One thing was extra. 00:13:31.14\00:13:34.34 The one who makes house. 00:13:34.38\00:13:37.55 He said, I have peace after making your house. 00:13:38.15\00:14:18.29 So how are you feeling? 00:14:37.71\00:14:39.44 Tired, but good. What have we done? 00:14:39.47\00:14:41.28 We had a nice day of visiting an island 00:14:41.31\00:14:43.68 and seeing the church members over there. 00:14:43.71\00:14:45.75 They meet in a member's home. 00:14:45.78\00:14:49.02 A very small island. 00:14:49.05\00:14:52.12 This morning 00:15:10.77\00:15:11.97 we are leaving the plastic church and we are headed south. 00:15:12.01\00:15:16.28 So far south, in fact, that we're actually leaving 00:15:16.31\00:15:18.35 land, We're taking a boat to an island. 00:15:18.38\00:15:20.68 You know, as Christians, we 00:15:24.69\00:15:25.69 are supposed to be a different kind of people. 00:15:25.72\00:15:30.13 And so when we go out into the communities here in India 00:15:30.36\00:15:34.10 and you meet with these Hindus and you meet 00:15:34.36\00:15:37.63 with these Muslim people they recognize 00:15:37.67\00:15:41.60 that our community here and the people who come to 00:15:43.00\00:15:46.44 church here, they are different and they can see that 00:15:46.47\00:15:50.58 and that is the most effective discipleship 00:15:50.61\00:15:54.48 method of all, is living a life 00:15:55.12\00:15:58.29 that reflects Christ. 00:15:58.85\00:16:02.06 So this is the ferry that's going to be taking us 00:16:48.50\00:16:50.84 about an hour ride to an island where we're going to spend 00:16:50.87\00:16:54.18 two or three days meeting with one of our Bible workers 00:16:54.21\00:16:57.48 that's working on that island. 00:16:57.51\00:17:55.14 Oh, hello, How are you? Good. 00:17:55.17\00:17:57.81 We have arrived. We have arrived. 00:17:57.84\00:18:00.98 Sagar Island. 00:18:01.11\00:18:02.44 For hundreds of years, Sagar Island 00:18:32.04\00:18:33.84 has been a yearly pilgrimage for so many Hindus. 00:18:33.88\00:18:37.15 Some will walk for hundreds of miles with no shoes to partake 00:18:37.48\00:18:40.92 in the holy dip that takes place each year in February. 00:18:40.95\00:18:44.02 The economic structure of this island only exists 00:18:44.49\00:18:47.36 because of the over 2 million people who flock to this place 00:18:47.39\00:18:50.83 every year. Yes, you heard that right. 00:18:50.86\00:18:52.99 Over 2 million people for many months in advance. 00:18:53.03\00:18:56.67 This island 00:18:56.70\00:18:57.80 with no more than 212,000 people, will begin to build 00:18:57.83\00:19:01.37 a temporary infrastructure of bamboo and tarps, fields, 00:19:01.40\00:19:05.47 empty streets and even alleyways will transform into markets 00:19:05.51\00:19:08.94 and sleeping quarters for the tourists who will visit. 00:19:08.98\00:19:12.08 This is arguably the largest annual gathering 00:19:12.11\00:19:14.92 of people throughout the world. 00:19:14.95\00:19:18.02 Despite the demonic forces at work, 00:19:18.22\00:19:20.16 Gospel outreach is blessed to have 00:19:20.19\00:19:21.82 three Bible workers 00:19:21.86\00:19:22.92 here on this island, along with a handful of churches 00:19:22.96\00:19:26.13 spreading a message of hope in an otherwise dark place. 00:19:26.36\00:19:29.66 Yeah, of course I want you to drive that. 00:19:32.37\00:19:35.20 My question is, are you going to kill us or. 00:19:35.24\00:19:38.31 But you may ask yourself, how do you reach a people group 00:19:39.41\00:19:42.18 that is so invested in this idol worship 00:19:42.21\00:19:44.78 and ritualistic behavior? 00:19:44.81\00:19:47.88 My name is Arati Dasadhikari, 00:19:51.15\00:19:54.22 and I've been with the Gospel Outreach for ten years now. 00:19:54.26\00:20:15.41 For the last two years 00:20:15.44\00:20:17.18 I have started working here on this island. 00:20:17.21\00:20:20.25 When I first came to the island, I struggled 00:20:20.82\00:20:23.39 to connect with the people. 00:20:23.42\00:20:25.35 Many are very strong in their traditions and culture, 00:20:25.39\00:20:28.46 making it impossible to effectively spread 00:20:28.86\00:20:31.36 the name of Jesus. 00:20:31.39\00:20:33.43 This is when God gave me an idea. 00:20:33.46\00:20:35.86 An idea to simply show people the love of Jesus 00:20:35.90\00:20:39.10 and leave the rest to him. 00:20:39.40\00:20:42.00 I decided to start offering 00:20:42.04\00:20:43.71 tailoring lessons to the women of my community. 00:20:43.74\00:20:47.01 This only started with two, but grew quickly as word spread. 00:20:47.68\00:20:52.55 I was gifted a sewing machine 00:21:16.14\00:21:18.37 and my ministry expanded even faster. 00:21:18.41\00:21:21.08 I started multiple classes in different homes 00:21:21.11\00:21:23.78 throughout the island and soon had dozens of women 00:21:23.81\00:21:27.48 learning under my care. 00:21:27.52\00:21:30.59 These women were confused as to 00:21:32.12\00:21:33.99 why I would provide such a fine service for free. 00:21:34.02\00:21:37.09 This opened the door to religious conversations 00:21:37.79\00:21:40.36 and Bible studies. 00:21:40.40\00:21:48.74 Some of the husbands of my students were upset at first, 00:21:48.77\00:21:51.84 but once they recognized the change 00:21:52.04\00:21:53.74 in attitude for their wives, they became more open 00:21:53.78\00:21:56.91 and accepting of what I was teaching them from the Bible. 00:21:56.95\00:22:00.05 I now have three sewing machines 00:22:03.22\00:22:05.09 that I have strategically placed throughout the island. 00:22:05.12\00:22:08.19 I have started seven influence centers 00:22:09.22\00:22:11.59 where I meet with groups of women 00:22:11.63\00:22:13.29 every week for Bible studies and some classes. 00:22:13.33\00:22:16.36 These women are also learning how to love people like Jesus 00:22:17.17\00:22:20.64 by working to provide free clothes 00:22:20.90\00:22:22.97 for widows and homeless people. 00:22:23.00\00:22:24.57 So she comes up with a lot of 00:22:41.49\00:22:42.66 different things on her own as she continues she learns. 00:22:42.69\00:22:46.63 Some of my students are also widows and use the knowledge 00:22:46.66\00:22:51.17 of seamstress work to make clothes and sell them 00:22:51.20\00:22:54.27 to help support themselves. 00:22:54.30\00:22:57.37 Many of the women in these classes are married 00:22:58.54\00:23:00.81 with children at only 16 or 17 years old. 00:23:00.84\00:23:04.05 Life as a woman in these cultures 00:23:05.41\00:23:07.18 can be a very demeaning and demoralizing life. 00:23:07.22\00:23:10.29 From a very young age it is your duty to do as you are 00:23:10.32\00:23:13.42 told and marry the man chosen for you by your father. 00:23:13.46\00:23:16.56 A women's ministry like this not only gives 00:23:17.16\00:23:19.49 these women self-worth and confidence in a skill, 00:23:19.53\00:23:22.56 but also allows them to provide for themselves 00:23:22.60\00:23:25.20 if they are ever left as a widow. 00:23:25.23\00:23:26.97 Living for self is so 00:23:29.10\00:23:30.44 easy, but living for others is much more rewarding. 00:23:30.47\00:23:34.18 I am thankful to be living for others and encourage 00:23:34.58\00:23:37.31 everyone I come in contact with to do the same. 00:23:37.35\00:23:40.45 Oh, let's see. 00:23:52.36\00:23:54.20 Oh boy! 00:23:54.23\00:23:55.93 Does she come from a teaching background? 00:23:55.96\00:23:58.97 No no! 00:23:59.00\00:24:02.14 I want to talk to you 00:24:31.47\00:24:32.67 about some of the challenges that I'm facing here in India. 00:24:32.70\00:24:35.30 I'm just going to be brutally honest with you. 00:24:35.44\00:24:36.91 The devil is working 00:24:36.94\00:24:39.24 really, really hard right now in my life, in Lexi's life. 00:24:39.27\00:24:43.28 You know, we're running into a lot of challenges both 00:24:43.31\00:24:46.48 spiritually and even maybe somewhat physically. 00:24:46.51\00:24:50.25 And so we definitely need prayers. 00:24:50.49\00:24:53.92 People don't understand 00:24:56.19\00:24:58.23 the effort that it takes to actually create 00:24:58.26\00:25:01.06 some type of quality content quality video. 00:25:01.10\00:25:04.53 We want to take you 00:25:04.70\00:25:06.33 and we want to put you in a position 00:25:06.37\00:25:08.07 where you can understand what it's like 00:25:08.10\00:25:10.91 to be one of these Bible workers. 00:25:10.94\00:25:12.41 And the only way that we can actually effectively do this is 00:25:12.44\00:25:15.51 if you get to actually live with them and experience 00:25:15.54\00:25:19.55 what they experience and see what they eat, 00:25:19.58\00:25:21.78 see what they do on a day to day basis. 00:25:21.82\00:25:23.75 And the only way that we can actually capture 00:25:23.79\00:25:25.35 that is we have to do that as well. 00:25:25.39\00:25:27.16 When I see the great need, both spiritually 00:25:35.96\00:25:38.27 and physically, I can oftentimes become very discouraged. 00:25:38.30\00:25:42.04 The pain here is great people living in the dirt 00:25:42.50\00:25:45.14 who can hardly afford to eat, still spend money 00:25:45.17\00:25:47.98 that they don't have on idols for their homes and offerings 00:25:48.01\00:25:51.51 for their temples. 00:25:51.55\00:25:53.05 The fear of the unknown can be seen 00:25:53.08\00:25:54.75 in the faces of these people, and I long for them 00:25:54.78\00:25:57.72 to have the peace that we take for granted. 00:25:57.75\00:26:04.66 You know, I've heard it said that 00:26:04.69\00:26:05.66 Jesus spent 00:26:05.69\00:26:06.53 two thirds of his time 00:26:06.56\00:26:08.00 on this earth healing and ministering to people. 00:26:08.03\00:26:11.10 I think sometimes we forget that reaching people with the hope 00:26:11.30\00:26:14.47 of Jesus isn't simply about 00:26:14.50\00:26:16.57 having the right message or presenting it in the proper way. 00:26:16.60\00:26:19.67 We are to be a living example of what true 00:26:20.08\00:26:22.64 love really looks like. 00:26:22.68\00:26:24.88 Now, This shouldn't be a gotcha concept, 00:26:24.91\00:26:27.05 but it only becomes that way 00:26:27.08\00:26:28.45 when we attempt to take over the Holy Spirit's job. 00:26:28.48\00:26:31.85 Now we currently have three 00:26:35.76\00:26:37.36 Gospel Outreach workers on Sagar Island, 00:26:37.39\00:26:40.03 and we were so impressed by the true outpouring of love 00:26:40.06\00:26:43.50 they show to the people around them. 00:26:43.77\00:26:46.03 Like these workers, I never want to feel 00:26:46.07\00:26:48.34 as if I have an agenda. 00:26:48.37\00:26:50.27 I want to be a conduit for the Holy Spirit and nothing more. 00:26:50.31\00:26:53.44 So my question is, 00:26:56.14\00:26:57.88 what's your motivation? 00:26:57.91\00:27:31.15 if you have made it 00:27:31.18\00:27:32.21 to the end of this episode of Destination 10/40, 00:27:32.25\00:27:34.45 we want to thank you for watching. 00:27:34.48\00:27:36.08 If you've seen the show and you want to donate 00:27:36.12\00:27:37.85 to Gospel Outreach because of this show, 00:27:37.89\00:27:40.29 we want to ask that if you donate online at goaim.org, 00:27:40.32\00:27:43.39 that you just leave in the description box 00:27:44.99\00:27:46.73 when you donate the words Destination 1040. 00:27:46.76\00:27:49.76 The same thing if you send a check just right 00:27:49.80\00:27:51.77 in the memo line Destination 10/40, that way we can keep 00:27:51.80\00:27:54.80 track of how much money we have raised from the show. 00:27:54.84\00:27:58.21 Because one of the things 00:27:58.24\00:27:59.11 that we are wanting to do from this show 00:27:59.14\00:28:01.24 is we want to raise $100,000 over the next six months 00:28:01.28\00:28:04.28 while we're 00:28:04.31\00:28:05.41 traveling for Gospel Outreach to support Bible workers 00:28:05.45\00:28:08.32 and $100,000 will support how many Bible workers? 00:28:08.55\00:28:11.29 55 for one year. 00:28:11.32\00:28:13.42 And we are sorry if this has been loud because 00:28:13.46\00:28:17.09 we are in India. 00:28:17.13\00:28:22.96 okay, bye. 00:28:23.00\00:28:24.03
