told us about the dragon

being cast out of heaven
how Satan was once a loyal

angel in the kingdom of heaven
named Lucifer and revelation

says that Michael and his angels
fought against the dragon and

his angels and so the dragon
and the angels that followed him

were cast out and they
were cast down to this earth.

That is what verses 7-12 talk
about. We already studied that.

13 picks up and it

the dragon now goes

persecution. You have a dragon

seeking to persecute the

woman by spewing floods
of water out of its mouth.

woman and eventually the woman
has to hide in the wilderness

has to hide in the wilderness
for a period of time and

in verse 17 the
dragon now goes after the

remnant of the

are introduced to three symbols
