let us take a look at the last
century that most of us were

born in the 20th centurty
began with World War one

when many of the superpowers
of the world were thrown into

conflict against each
other. and after five difficult

years of war, finally
the treaty of Versailles

was signed and
that generation thought

that they had established peace.
But it did not last very long

becasue a few years later came
the second world war and the

rise of Hitler's third reich
and the nazis and the attack on

pearl harbor and the world
was again thrown into another

chaotic world war for 4
more long and painful years

finally, V-Day came and that

generation thought they had
established peace but then came

the rise of communism and the
Korean War and the controversial

Vietnam war, and
then in the late 1980s you

may remember there was
hope becasue you had the fall of

communism and the Berlin wall
came down and that generation

thought that peace was
coming, but it did no happen.

Because then came Sudan Hussein
and all the Petrsian Gulf Wars

and even today in the
21st century we find ourselves

in a constant struggle against
terrorism. You see people

peace is something
we all want. We hope
00:01:51.87\00:01:55.88
for it for our children and the
governments of the world work

hard towards it but it
seems like no matter what we do

we just cannot seem to
establish peace in this world.

but there is good news in
the book of revelation becasue

the Bible tells us there is a
time of peace that is going to

come very soon most Christian's
refer to it as the time period

of the millennium, revelation
calls it the thousand years

of peace. That is what we
are going to study tonight. Now,

there are a lot of different
theories surrounding what is the

millennium all about some people
say this is a time of great

peace just on the earth. Others
say it is a time after Jesus

comes when men have a second
chance at salvation. Other

theories say this is a time of
peace only meant for the Jews.

And then others say it
is a time after Jesus comes

when the saints are at
peace in the kingdom of heaven.

So what we are gonna do
tonight,we are not going to

worry about what different
doctrine says We are going to
open up the book of revelation

and let revelation speak
for itself. You will be amazed

at how absolutely
clear God is on this subject.

in fact what I am gonna do is
the opposite tonight. Normally

Second coming of Christ,

and behold, What color of horse

a white horse and
he who sat on him was

was called faithful and true
and in righteousness He judges

eyes were like a flame of

he is riding on a white
horse now colors in the Bible,

right! Purity, Truth

on his thigh that there is no

mistaking. What is that name?

so the only person the
rider could possibly be is who

Obviously it is Jesus
Christ. And he is described

the armies of heaven

are flames of fire in his

some imagery in this vision

and you always hear about the

meekness and the gentleness of
the loving and merciful savior
and that is what Jesus

you also see imagery

of wrath and war did you notice
that? Because he is coming

on a horse back in
those days that is how you

fierceness and wrath of God

picture from the Savior of the

Mark, Luke, and John we can be

assured it is still the
same Savior. But you have to

understand at this
point time is no more. Jesus

Now this is all obviously
symbolic imagery. Now in the

scriptures a sword has always
been used to represent what, do

word of God or God's word

it symbolized that way

are going to be judged by this

What is looked at as

are saved by grace through faith

decisions I have made in my life

I have allowed to rule my life

chooses to follow the word

holy spirit. The true believer

to why he cannot follow Jesus.

if it means he is made fun of

she is not in the majority

the true disciple of Jesus

so that is the picture that
Jesus is now coming to save his

people and to make
war upon satan and sin

vision goes a little bit farther

Now we may not exactly

me ask you a question. Does that

so good, so what we need to

bombs to stop Jesus from coming,

when they see Jesus come

mountains and ask them to fall

on them and hide them from

before they do that there will
be some who seek to make war

other people would envy

accept and follow Jesus as

of the world, but the only thing
that is gonna matter when Jesus

comes is not what
did the world think of me

but have I chosen to put
my life in the hands of Jesus

be a sports star or you might

where every business wants

me to be the
spokesperson for their product

around the world, but
clearly revelation is telling

us that when Jesus

is gonna have any
significance is have I chosen to

kneel at the foot of the
cross. Have I chosen to allow

Jesus perfect
life to count for me

have i followed him and have
I followed his word that is all

that is going to
matter. Brothers and sisters

if you and I are wanting to
follow Jesus in the end times

choose to follow Jesus today

final events of earth's history

Jesus Christ. The righteous dead

are resurrected. meet in the air
and are taken to heaven as are

the righteous who are alive when

are alive at that time
they are slain at christ coming

dead from previous generations
