attempting to worship God

ways," says the Lord.

are higher than the earth,

higher than your ways,

and My thoughts

Father Abraham understood this.

He prayed that Ishmael
would be the son of promise

He blessed Ishmael and
his descendants abundantly.

Abraham married Keturah.

He had six sons with her.

the sons of the concubines,

while he was still lived

he sent them eastward,
away from Isaac his son,

to the country of the east."

Ishmael was not the
only child of Abraham

that was sent away from Isaac.

Abraham knew that
he had an obligation

to the Creator to protect
Isaac, the promised son from

we see these half brothers

as they unite and come together
at the grave of their father.

of strife and trouble

many of us as teenagers

Jewish people did not believe
