wondering what does this have

prophecy of Daniel Chapter 7?

that in Daniel Chapter 7,

the characteristic that we
focused in on regarding the

little horn is that it
would intend to change the times

and laws of the most high God.

The little horn power is
attacking the new covenant in

that it is attacking the
plan of God by which the new
00:03:13.04\00:03:17.87
covenant of His law
written in our hearts

would be fulfilled.
00:03:20.02\00:03:21.15
God intends to do this,
the little horn is seeking
00:03:21.19\00:03:24.70
to intervene in order
to prevent the fulfillment

of the new covenant.

And this is not the
first time this attack on this
00:03:29.23\00:03:31.39
new covenant experience
was made in the book of Daniel.

In Chapter 7 is another
attack from another direction.

All through these first
chapters God's new covenant

experience has been
attacked as it concerns the
00:03:41.12\00:03:43.53
relationship God wants
to have with His people.

Satan has sought, working
through princes, and rulers,
00:03:46.09\00:03:48.54
an ungodly men to
undermine relationship.
00:03:48.58\00:03:50.94
That is part of this
new covenant experience.

Yet God has prevailed
every step of the way.

We have saw that first of
all, in the book of Daniel,

through a process God
led Nebuchadnezzar to a new

covenant experience of
relationship with Himself

based on faith.

Then we saw that God led
Darius through an experience

of new covenant faith.

And of course we see that
Daniel exemplifies the new

covenant relationship
with God and his three friends.

Step by step through
the entire narrative of

the book of Daniel.

But over and over again we
see laws and principalities

seeking to undermine and
disconnect that relationship,

that dependence, that faith
relationship that these men

have with God.

So as we summarize this is
really powerful because you

look at the first
aspect of the new covenant.

There are five, there
are five aspects here.

First 1, is what
God will do, His power!

Number 2, His law is
involved in the new covenant.

Number 3, notice what
it says here in verse 11.

"And they shall not
teach every man his neighbor,"

"and every man his
brother, saying, Know the Lord:"

"for all shall know me from
the least to the greatest. "

That is talking
about His Spirit.

It is talking about the
unction of the Holy Spirit.

1 John says we have an
unction from the Holy One and

we do not need
any man to teach us.

But the Holy Spirit teaches
us, now let's clarify this Ty.

It doesn't mean friends
that we don't need pastor's,

we don't need teachers, we
don't need elders in the church.

What it means is that we
do not have to rely upon men

to be our teachers.

Men can help us and
direct us, confirm what God is

teaching us, but our main
teacher has to be the Lord.

It has to be the Holy Spirit.

God is promising us, He's
going to do it, and He is going

to put His law in our hearts.

He is going to be doing it
through His Holy Spirit with

His unction and we don't
need to depend on man to teach

going to be merciful to our"

"unrighteousness and He is
going to forgive our sins. "

So it is not only His
law, is not only His Spirit,

it is not only His power,
it is also His mercy, it's His

grace that is going to
be part of this new covenant

And finally, in the context
of all of this, it says there,

Relationship, the foundation
of whole new covenant is,

wants to have a relationship

with us, it is
powerful isn't it?

A relationship in which He
is the One Who is achieving

one by His grace that is writing

Who is overcoming the sin
problem, and delivering us from

forgiveness and giving us a

of His love for us.

Which, in turn, draws us
into a relationship with Himself

God's law into our hearts

because by definition 1 John 3:4

says, sin is
transgression of the law.

Jesus came to save us from

our sins, so He came to save

us from transgressing the law.

Both in the sense of being saved

from the things that we have

done in transgressing
God's law and in an ongoing

experience of
transgressing God's law.

So we don't have to
murder anymore, we don't have to

steal anymore, we don't
have to take God's name in vain.

We don't have to
break His Sabbath.

We don't need to
covet our neighbors goods.

God wants to put His
law of love into our hearts.

That is part of the new covenant
experience that God wants

Satan is seeking to undermine

through the powers, the secular
powers, that are identified

Daniel as well as the professed

religious powers that
come into play as we move down
00:07:28.15\00:07:31.53
through the history of time.

So we are seeing here in Daniel

Chapter 7 is a picture of the
00:07:35.08\00:07:37.21
great controversy as it plays
00:07:37.25\00:07:39.98
out in human affairs at the
00:07:40.01\00:07:42.71
end of time.
00:07:42.75\00:07:43.85
We see that the crucial
issues that are involved in this
00:07:43.88\00:07:48.89
great controversy, center
on God's plan and objective to
00:07:48.92\00:07:53.89
establish and fulfill
the new covenant in the
00:07:53.93\00:07:56.99
hearts of His people.
00:07:57.02\00:07:57.99
And the little horn
power seeking to intervene and
00:07:58.01\00:08:01.67
prevent the fulfillment
of the new covenant through
00:08:01.70\00:08:05.23
exercising force in the
name of God, through defaming
00:08:05.26\00:08:08.72
or blasphemy in the name of God,
and by changing the law of God
00:08:08.76\00:08:14.24
and the time in God's law.
00:08:14.28\00:08:16.84
These are the characteristics
of the little horn.

But we see here in Daniel
7 the promise that in this

great controversy, in
this conflict that the Saints

of the most high God, the
people of God emerge from this
00:08:25.94\00:08:29.35
conflict with the little
horn, they emerge victorious.
00:08:29.39\00:08:32.88
They emerge victorious in
the sense that it says the
00:08:32.92\00:08:36.60
kingdom is given over
into the hands of the Saints of
00:08:36.64\00:08:40.64
the most high God and
judgment is made in their favor.

This is the
outcome of the judgment.

Amen, and we can identify
Ty, it is very important for us

to identify, New Testament,
last book of the Bible,

who are the Saints,

patience of the Saints. "

Who are they? "These are
they that keep the Commandments"

faith of Jesus. "

So you have a group of
people in the end of time that

have full faith in Jesus, a
relationship with God, anointing

of the Holy Spirit,
their sins are forgiven by

the blood of Jesus Christ,
and yet they are reliant on
00:09:10.43\00:09:13.31
God's power and they keep
His Commandments, keep His law.

The law is being challenged
in Chapter 7 and verse 25.

The law is being changed
and this is really subtle

because there are a lot
of people today who feel like

they are keeping God's law,
but because the law has been

changed, guess what?

They are not keeping God's law.

That's right and it is
incredible to notice that the

identification of this
end time people is not an

identification that
they simply keep the law.

This isn't a law keeping

legalistic people, nor is this a

people that disregard the law in

favor of faith in Christ.

As they keep the Commandments
of God and have the faith of

Jesus, these are like two
oars on a rowboat in which as

they move in tandem, in
unison, those two oars of faith

and works, obedience
and faith move in unison and

develop Christian
character in balance.

But we need to understand
that it is not just balance

God's Commandments is in fact,

the result of faith.

We are saved by grace
through faith in Christ alone.

There is no virtue,

keeping the law of God.

exercise faith in Him.

today believe that we are living

don't keep the law of the
