"Is a new creature." 00:08:32.17\00:08:33.51 That's right. Amen. 00:08:33.54\00:08:34.88 So just like Jesus had to come down to this world 00:08:34.91\00:08:36.54 and get created as it were and then put on human flesh, 00:08:36.58\00:08:40.68 so when we're in Him, we get created, 00:08:40.72\00:08:42.78 we become a partaker of the divine nature. 00:08:42.82\00:08:46.29 So again, we're referring back to the very first day. 00:08:46.32\00:08:49.76 If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, 00:08:49.79\00:08:52.36 so we have to be by God's grace, 00:08:52.39\00:08:53.93 we all, if we asked Him, we become a new creature. 00:08:53.96\00:08:57.00 But now, friends, 00:08:57.03\00:08:58.37 we have to now start walking with Him, 00:08:58.40\00:09:00.04 He's made us new but it doesn't stop 00:09:00.07\00:09:02.10 or it doesn't just stop with being made new, 00:09:02.14\00:09:04.17 we have to what? 00:09:04.21\00:09:05.54 Walk with Him. 00:09:05.57\00:09:06.91 So break it down for us, Chef Law. 00:09:06.94\00:09:08.28 What are we talking about here? 00:09:08.31\00:09:09.64 Well, it says, "As you received Him, 00:09:09.68\00:09:11.78 walk ye in Him." 00:09:11.81\00:09:13.15 And so the way you received Him 00:09:13.18\00:09:14.82 is the way you continuously walk in Him. 00:09:14.85\00:09:17.45 And that word walk is a very particular walk, 00:09:17.49\00:09:19.32 it means to pass on, to conduct. 00:09:19.35\00:09:22.02 So the Lord wants you to conduct your life 00:09:22.06\00:09:25.29 just the way you receive Christ at the first time. 00:09:25.33\00:09:28.23 And the Bible says 00:09:28.26\00:09:29.60 that, "Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith." 00:09:29.63\00:09:32.33 Amen. Come on now. 00:09:32.37\00:09:33.70 And you receive Christ by putting all your faith 00:09:33.74\00:09:35.24 and all your trust into Him, 00:09:35.27\00:09:36.60 but it wasn't just faith 00:09:36.64\00:09:37.97 where you sat back and did nothing, 00:09:38.01\00:09:39.34 'cause once you receive that faith in Christ, 00:09:39.37\00:09:41.54 you also receive the power to walk in Him. 00:09:41.58\00:09:44.88 So faith and power, 00:09:44.91\00:09:46.75 and as you live your life day-by-day 00:09:46.78\00:09:48.82 in the same faith and power, in Christ, 00:09:48.85\00:09:52.05 you will become a new creature day by day. 00:09:52.09\00:09:55.99 And, friends, when we look at this in comparison to, 00:09:56.02\00:09:59.29 I guess, our health walk, you know that Christ, 00:09:59.33\00:10:01.76 He was very intentional about His health. 00:10:01.80\00:10:04.03 Christ, He took care of Himself, obviously, 00:10:04.07\00:10:06.63 He says that our bodies 00:10:06.67\00:10:08.00 are the temple of the Holy Spirit. 00:10:08.04\00:10:09.90 And so we understand that Christ, 00:10:09.94\00:10:11.71 He is the one again who formed us. 00:10:11.74\00:10:13.54 So when we understand this, we have to do what? 00:10:13.58\00:10:16.31 We have to walk in His ways, walk in His plans. 00:10:16.34\00:10:19.58 And again, Christ's plans are what? 00:10:19.61\00:10:21.05 Are His... found in His what? 00:10:21.08\00:10:22.82 Found in His word. In His word. 00:10:22.85\00:10:24.19 And so remember, faith cometh by hearing 00:10:24.22\00:10:26.25 and hearing by the what? 00:10:26.29\00:10:27.62 By the word of God.
