always looking for security

Things to make you
feel safer, more secure.

I want those things.

I like security.

next paycheck is coming from.

I like having not only A plan,

but a B and usually a C as well.

And I think I've
always been that way,

but I know a big
part of it was because

when I was in high school

my dad was a dentist and
he paid for my older brother

bought him a car when he
graduated from high school,

he paid for his college

got him another car.

After that,

my sister, she came
right along after John

and he paid for all
of Bonnie's college.

And then I'm in high school

and dad died

and there was
nothing we found out.

He had no life insurance
- There goes the security

- No health insurance.

And he died of cancer.

So everything that he had
had that was worth anything

me feeling a little shakier

We were in the process

we look out our kitchen window

and there is the
smoke billowing up.

And it's like, that
is not just a house fire.

it's maybe three miles away

way too close for me.

first thing in my mind was
