Bless You, Lord. 05:43 The topic tonight is 05:45 Dark Deeds of Antichrist Revealed. 05:51 We're gonna take this slow and easy tonight, my friends. 05:56 This is a tremendous-- even a formidable truth. 06:00 I'm going to tell you tonight from the word of God 06:04 how the great state church of the Middle Ages 06:09 tampered with the times in the law of God. 06:14 This will truly amaze you. 06:20 Paul the evangelist says in the Bible 06:23 that "God will finish His work 06:24 and cut it short in righteousness." 06:26 The Prophet Joel says, 06:28 "God will pour out His spirit in the last days, 06:30 and signs and wonders will follow." 06:32 The Carter Report believes that we are now in the end times 06:37 and His spirit is moving mightily. 06:39 During the Port Moresby campaign 06:41 we testified that we saw the power of God revealed. 06:45 God hungry souls 06:48 could not get enough of the word of the Lord as at creation 06:52 the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters 06:56 and God brought cosmos out of chaos. 06:59 Souls were recreated in the image of the creator. 07:03 Instead of hate there was love. 07:05 Instead of despair there was hope. 07:07 Instead of sorrow there was joy. 07:10 And in the place of death, God gave life. 07:13 One night as John Carter preached on the person 07:16 and work of the Holy Spirit 07:17 the image of a white bird was flashed on the screens. 07:21 That moment a great white bird flew low 07:24 over the astonished congregation. 07:26 Cries of joy filled the air as the audience recognizes 07:30 that God had visited His people. 07:32 A mighty surge of Pentecostal power 07:35 swept the audience of 120,000 souls 07:38 and everyone present felt the warm, 07:41 comforting presence of God. 07:43 The Carter Report team invites you, my dear viewer, 07:46 to be a partner in this work. 07:49 Solders of the Cross are wanted. Faith partners are needed. 07:53 Write to us now here at the Carter Report, 07:56 PO box 1900, Thousand Oaks, 07:59 CA 91358 or in Australia, 08:04 at PO box 861, Terrigal, NSW 2260. 08:10 You may also contact us online at cartereport.org 08:14 or email us at info@cartereport.org. 08:21 Almighty God, our Lord, 08:26 our creator, our redeemer tells us 08:30 "Keep the commandments of God, keep the 10 commandments. 08:35 Don't add to my commandments. 08:38 Do not subtract from my commandments. 08:41 These are the commandments that I spoke with my own mouth 08:45 and then I wrote with my own finger." 08:48 But the Bible says that this great church 08:52 would think himself able to change the times 08:58 and the laws of almighty God, that's the prophesy. 09:07 Now, what we're going to do is easy, 09:13 but you'll need to concentrate. 09:15 And remember, I show this to you 09:18 because I want you to follow Christ in the truth. 09:21 I don't want you to follow me. 09:24 But you'll need to concentrate. 09:27 We are going to compare God's law, 09:31 the Ten Commandments with man's law, 09:35 man's commandments as found in the Bible 09:40 and as found in the Roman catechism. 09:47 The Ten Commandments are found in the Bible 09:51 in Exodus Chapter 20. 09:55 But this great church has a catechism. 10:00 And those wonderful people who read from the catechism, 10:03 those earnest, beautiful Christians 10:07 often do not know what the Bible says 10:10 because they get it from the catechism. 10:15 Now we're going to take the first commandment 10:18 as found in the Bible 10:20 and then the first commandment as found in the catechism. 10:25 And we're going to take over here is man's law, 10:30 that's the law of the church and over here is God's law. 10:35 I will take this very, very slowly 10:38 so that you and I can work it out 10:42 so that every person will be convinced in his own heart. 10:45 God's law, "I am the Lord your God, 10:50 you shall have no other God's before me." 10:53 That is the first commandment in the Bible. 10:57 In the catechism it says, the catechism of Rome, 11:02 "I, the Lord, am your God. 11:05 You shall not have other gods before me." 11:08 You'll notice they're virtually the same. There's no problem. 11:15 Now we come to the second commandment, 11:19 "You shall not make for yourself an idol 11:26 in the form of anything in heaven above 11:30 or on the earth beneath or in the water below. 11:37 You shall not bow down to them or worship them." 11:42 The second commandment in the Bible, 11:45 Exodus 20 says, do not make idols. 11:53 There must be no idols in the church. 11:57 That is the second commandment found in the Bible. 12:01 Now we notice the second commandment 12:03 found in the Roman catechism, 12:07 "You shall not take the name of the Lord, 12:13 your God, in vain." 12:17 But that's the third commandment. 12:20 What happened to the second commandment? 12:25 The second commandment that is found in the Bible, 12:29 that forbids the making of images has been taken out. 12:36 It is not in the catechism. 12:40 This great church has left out the commandment 12:46 that talks about making images. 12:49 I wonder, why. 12:51 Now we come to the third commandment. 12:55 "You shall not misuse the name of the Lord, 12:59 your God--" Let me says it again. 13:02 "You shall not misuse the name of the Lord, 13:07 your God." That's Exodus 20. 13:11 The third commandment, "Remember to keep Holy the Sabbath day." 13:17 You see they've lost a commandment. 13:21 The Sabbath commandment 13:23 is really the fourth commandment. 13:25 But they get to it by number three 13:26 because they left out the second one. 13:29 Now we come to the fourth commandment. 13:32 You can find this in any Roman catechism. 13:35 "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it Holy. 13:40 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 13:45 but the seventh day is the Sabbath 13:47 to the Lord your God." 13:50 That commandment says, don't forget 13:54 to keep the Sabbath Holy because God says, "It's my day." 14:00 Now we come to the fourth commandment, 14:02 it's not the Sabbath, it is "Honor your father and mother." 14:08 Because this great church has only got 14:11 really nine commandment, they left out one of the commandment. 14:17 Then we come over here to the fifth commandment. 14:20 I am going through this slowly, pardon me. 14:25 "Honor your father and mother." 14:29 The fifth commandment, "You shall not kill." 14:36 The sixth commandment, "You shall not murder." 14:41 The sixth commandment, "You shall not commit adultery." 14:44 What's wrong? Well, the sequence is wrong 14:49 because they left out the second commandment 14:52 that forbids the making of images. 14:56 I wonder why. 14:58 The seventh commandment, "You shall not commit adultery." 15:04 The seventh commandment, "You shall not steal." 15:08 The eighth commandment, "You shall not steal." 15:12 Over here the eighth commandment, 15:14 "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor." 15:18 Now we come to the next commandment, 15:20 number nine, "You shall not give false testimony." 15:24 Over here, "You shall not covet your neighbor's wife." 15:28 And notice this, the ninth commandment 15:31 in the Roman catechism is about coveting your neighbor's wife. 15:36 But notice when we come now to the tenth commandment 15:39 in the Bible, "You shall not covet." 15:47 And over here the tenth commandment, 15:49 "You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor." 15:55 Listen, the great church of the dark ages 16:00 changed the commandments of God 16:03 by leaving out the second commandment 16:06 that forbids the making of images. 16:10 And so they had only 9 commandments. 16:13 What were they to do? 16:15 They took the tenth commandment 16:18 and they divided it in two 16:24 but they left out the second commandment. 16:31 I wonder why. 16:34 Could it be, my friend, 16:37 could it be that the churches of that great organization-- 16:45 could it be that the churches of that great organization 16:50 are filled with idols? Could it be so? 16:58 I have visited churches around the world. 17:05 And when I've gone into the churches 17:08 of that great organization and I love, 17:13 love, love those people, 17:16 respect them, hold them in the highest honor. 17:21 My father in Australia once belonged 17:24 to that great organization until he started to read his Bible. 17:30 But when I've gone into those great churches 17:33 I find that they're full of idols. 17:38 Like the statue of Jesus made out of gold 17:43 with the sun god behind His head. 17:48 Where did this come from? Not from the Bible. 17:54 And so there is no doubt at all, 17:59 my beloved and beautiful friends, 18:02 that the great church has changed the commandment of God. 18:08 She left out the second commandment. 18:13 But listen, she didn't stay there, 18:18 she didn't stop there. 18:21 No, this was merely the start. 18:26 Come with me again to the blackboard. 18:29 I walk over here, I bring you with me. 18:33 The Bible says that the great church 18:37 ascended in Rome would change 18:40 the set times and the laws of God. 18:48 She would change the commandment of God 18:51 by leaving out the second commandment, 18:55 but she didn't stop there. 18:58 Now listen very carefully. I'm going to talk softly. 19:04 Please consider a great truth 19:06 that has been lost by many for many centuries. 19:11 The foundation stone of all happiness, security 19:16 and meaning is that we are the children of God, 19:23 that we are the children of the creator. 19:27 If there is no creator then we are simply animated mud 19:35 on the way to dust, we are nothing. 19:40 But we are the special children of a loving creator. 19:47 Give up the truth on the daemon's rule. 19:51 You know the story of the Russian experiment. 19:55 I talked to you about this the other night. 20:00 The Russians got rid of the creator God. 20:05 Alexander Solzhenitsyn the Great Russian Christian 20:10 looked at Russia and saw the chaos 20:14 and the hell and he said, 20:17 "We forgot God, our creator." 20:23 I visited the places where millions 20:25 and millions of people died in Russia 20:29 because Russia turned away from the creator God. 20:36 Listen to me, 20:40 God is our father, our Lord, 20:48 our savior and we are His children. 20:53 What the bible says that the antichrist would attack 20:58 the very law of God that tell us that God is our creator. 21:06 Listen carefully. 21:10 We come back to Daniel Chapter 7:25. 21:15 You're never going to forget this tonight 21:18 even if you live to be 100. 21:21 He, the great church in Rome, 21:26 to speak against the most high and the oppress his saints-- 21:31 millions died in the dark ages. 21:34 Go home and get the encyclopedia, 21:37 look it up on the net, on the web. 21:40 Go on your computer and look up "Inquisition." Praise God. 21:48 "And oppress saints and try to change 21:52 the set times and the laws." 21:55 The Bible said that as a tremendous act of daring 22:01 and presumption and blasphemy, 22:05 the great church ascended over there in the city of Rome 22:11 would change the set times and the laws of God. 22:19 Now, I want you to listen carefully 22:24 because what I am going to tell you is the truth of God. 22:28 And when you see it you're going to say, 22:30 "Thank God, I've discovered the truth." 22:34 My friend, there is only 22:36 one commandment that deals with time. 22:40 There is only one commandment 22:43 that deals with the scared times. 22:46 And that is the commandment that says, 22:48 "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it Holy." 22:55 When I read the Ten Commandments 22:57 I come down to the fourth commandment 23:00 and not my church, not a group of men, 23:06 not some committee, but Almighty God, 23:09 the creator says-- and remember 23:12 you're not dealing tonight with the man, 23:14 you are dealing with the word of God. 23:16 So listen carefully. 23:19 The Bible said, God said, remember, remember 23:26 remember-- He knew we would forget 23:31 and so all-mighty God from mount Sinai, 23:35 He wrote it with His own finger, 23:37 He spoke with His own mouth and He said, 23:40 "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it Holy. 23:44 Six days you shall labor and do all your work 23:48 but the seventh day is the Sabbath 23:51 of the Lord, your God." 23:53 Now listen to me, my friends, just listen carefully. 23:58 Now the Bible says that the antichrist would attack 24:02 the Holy law of God that talks about the Sabbath. 24:08 Now I'm going to take my Bible 24:11 and I'm going to turn in my Holy Bible to Luke 23:52, 24:19 Matthew, Mark, Luke Chapter 23, 24:23 I am going to read it here at the desk 24:26 and my great, great team members 24:29 are going to put it on the screen 24:30 as I read it here at the desk. 24:33 Luke 23:52, this talks about 24:38 the death of our beloved Lord. 24:42 Verse 52, "Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus' body." 24:49 When did Jesus die? He died on Friday. 24:54 That's why the Churches call it Good Friday. 24:58 "Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus' body. 25:02 Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen cloth 25:07 and placed it in a tomb cut in the rock, 25:10 one in which no one had yet been laid. 25:14 It was the Preparation Day, or Friday 25:18 and the Sabbath was about to begin. 25:23 The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee 25:26 followed Joseph and saw the tomb 25:29 and how his body was laid in it. 25:32 Then they went home and prepared spices and perfumes. 25:39 But they rested on the Sabbath 25:41 in obedience to the commandment." 25:44 says, 25:47 "On the first say of the week, very early in the morning, 25:51 the women took the spices they had prepared 25:54 and went to the tomb," and glory halleluiah, 25:57 Jesus had been raised from the dead." 26:00 Now I am going to come over now to the black board. 26:04 Here we go. 26:06 Now come with me and look at this. 26:09 I'm going to put up here three days. 26:13 And scholars in every church agree with me. 26:18 Roman Catholic scholars agree with me. 26:21 Protestant scholars agree with me. 26:24 Jewish scholars agree with me. 26:27 And Muslim scholars agree with me. 26:31 The Bible tells me that our blessed Lord was put to death 26:36 on what is called-- want a camera in here close. 26:39 He was put to death on what is called the preparation day 26:45 and we call that today, Friday, It was the preparation day. 26:50 It is because the people of God prepared for the Holy Sabbath. 26:55 The Holy Sabbath of the Ten Commandments. 26:58 And so Jesus died on the preparation day 27:01 and the Bible tells me that Jesus rose 27:04 from the dead on the first day. 27:07 They went to the tomb on the first day 27:10 but glory, glory, glory, 27:12 there had been a mighty earthquake 27:14 and Jesus had walked out of the tomb. 27:17 And Jesus have cried, "I am the resurrection and the life. 27:21 I am now alive for ever and evermore." 27:26 We serve a living Jesus. 27:29 He was raised on the first day 27:32 and that day is what every scholar calls Sunday. 27:40 That is the truth. Jesus died on the sixth day. 27:48 He rose on the first day and the Bible tells me 27:53 that the day in between which is the seventh day, 27:58 the Bible tells me that is the Sabbath 28:04 of the commandments of God. 28:10 This is the word of the Lord. 28:13 Jesus died on the preparation day. 28:17 He died on Friday. 28:19 And Jesus even kept the Sabbath by sleeping in the tomb. 28:25 Jesus was a Sabbath keeper all through His life. 28:29 And Jesus was there in the tomb 28:34 and the holy disciples kept the Sabbath, 28:37 the Bible says, according to the commandments of God, 28:41 and then the Bible says that Jesus rose 28:45 from the dead on the first day of the week. 28:48 Now listen to me please, 28:52 it is very plain that the most number, 28:58 the great majority of Christians today 29:03 do not keep the fourth commandment. 29:06 They say, "No, we don't keep this Sabbath 29:11 of the Ten commandments but we keep the first day 29:15 because Jesus rose from the dead on the first day." 29:20 And Jesus did rise from the dead 29:23 on the first day and that is true. 29:28 But listen very, very carefully, 29:31 if we're going to pick any day that suits us, 29:35 why don't we keep Friday 29:36 because Jesus died for our sins on Friday? 29:40 What we've got to do, my friend, is not pick and choose, 29:44 we ought to keep the day that the Lord has told us to keep 29:50 and the Bible tells me that the--you know, 29:53 listen because I am going to put up some statements 29:55 from the great church of Rome in a moment. 29:59 I'm going to read from the Vatican. 30:02 And the Vatican I was going to say, 30:04 "John Carter is right on this subject because--" 30:09 and they're going to give you a reason. 30:11 Now, hold on. 30:14 It is very plain that the Sabbath has been changed. 30:19 It is true that the Sabbath has been changed 30:23 in the minds of millions of people 30:26 from the seventh day to the first day of the week. 30:30 But the question is who changed the day. 30:35 Now listen, would you please notice with me, 30:40 a great truth obscured for centuries but not lost. 30:46 I want to just to indulge me now right please. 30:51 This great audience, I want you 30:54 to consider firstly Genesis 2:1-3. 31:01 We go back to the very beginning of the world 31:05 when God made our first parents, 31:09 when he made Adam and Eve. 31:12 It says, "Thus the heavens 31:14 and the earth were completed in all their vast array. 31:18 By the seventh day God had finished 31:20 the work he had been doing. 31:22 So on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 31:26 And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, 31:33 because on it he rested 31:36 from all the work of creating that he had done." 31:39 My friend, when God made the human race, 31:43 the Bible tells us that God rested on the seventh day. 31:49 And the Bible tells me that God blessed the seventh day. 31:53 He didn't bless the first day or the second day 31:57 or the third day or the fourth or the fifth or the sixth. 32:00 The Bible says, Almighty God blessed the seventh day 32:05 and He turned it into the Sabbath 32:07 and He made it Holy. 32:11 So some people say to me, "But you know, 32:16 I'm a Christian that's why I keep the first day 32:22 because the Sabbath belongs to the Jews." 32:29 Listen, Jesus was a Jew. The Bible is a Jewish book. 32:37 The Blessed Virgin Mary was a Jew. 32:40 All of the apostles were the Jews 32:46 but the Sabbath is not Jewish 32:48 because the Sabbath was created by God 32:52 thousands and thousands of years before the Jews. 32:59 So the Sabbath is God's day. 33:03 It is called in the scriptures the Lord's Day. 33:09 Now we're going to look at Mark Chapter 2:27, 28. 33:14 Now, friend, what I'm telling you tonight 33:16 is the truth of the Bible. 33:19 I'm not telling you this because I am making it up. 33:22 I'm telling it to you because it is the truth of God 33:26 and it is burning tonight in my soul. 33:29 And look at Mark 2, "Then Jesus said to them, 33:32 'The Sabbath was made for man,'" 33:35 and M-A-N doesn't spell J-E-W. 33:40 It was made for the Jews 33:43 because the Jews are a part of the human race. 33:47 But the Bible tells me that marriage was made from man also. 33:53 And that means for the whole human race and the Bible says, 33:58 He said to then, this Sabbath was made for man 34:02 not man for the Sabbath. 34:05 So the son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath. 34:11 The seventh day Sabbath is the Lord's holy day. 34:18 And the Bible says, with the great church 34:23 of the dark ages would think himself able to change 34:29 God's Holy Sabbath and fool 34:33 and deceive the whole wide world-- 34:36 how he must be laughing. 34:39 Now here is another text. 34:44 I want you to see this, Revelation Chapter 1:10 34:51 and I'm going to stay here at podium 34:53 and I'm going to take my dear old Bible and I'm going to turn 34:57 and the breeze is blowing the pages 34:59 and what a great night we are having, 35:01 what a great night it is. 35:03 Revelation Chapter 1 and the men are going 35:05 to put it on the screen, Revelation Chapter 1:10. 35:07 "On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit," 35:10 this text tells me that the Lord has a day. 35:15 People come along and they say, 35:16 "No, everyday is the Lord's Day." 35:18 No, that's not true. 35:21 The Bible talks about the day that is dedicated 35:25 to the Lord, a special holy day. 35:29 And then I turn over here to Isaiah 58:13 35:35 and the Bible tells me, so very plainly, 35:38 exactly what day is the Lord's Day. 35:42 And so I'm going to come out here on the runway 35:45 and I'm going to look you in the eyes 35:47 and them I'm going to look at the screen. 35:50 Isaiah says, Chapter 58:13, 35:54 this is almighty God talking to us. 35:57 Are we going to turn away from words of almighty God? 36:02 Are we going to follow the teachings of a church 36:06 instead of the words of almighty God? 36:09 I say God forbid. So let me read the text. 36:14 "If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath 36:18 and from doing as you please 36:22 on my holy day, 36:29 if you call the Sabbath a delight 36:31 and the Lord's holy day honorable, 36:37 and if you honor it by not going your own way 36:41 and not doing as you please or speaking idle words." 36:48 And He goes on to say, "If you'll do this 36:51 I will bless you and I will lift you up 36:55 and you will be the head and you will not be the tail. 37:00 You will be my chosen people." 37:04 Listen friends, listen, 37:08 the Bible tells us God has got a day. 37:13 The Bible tells me it is a day that Jesus came. 37:17 It is the day that all the apostle came. 37:20 It is the day that all the prophets came. 37:24 It is the day that all the Bible writers came. 37:28 It is the holy seventh day Sabbath 37:31 and the Bible says, Daniel 7:25 37:36 that the antichrist would attack 37:39 the times and the law of the God. 37:42 The antichrist church would attack 37:45 the seventh day Sabbath. 37:50 Now listen, we changed the day 37:57 because it has been changed. God, no. 38:04 God would not change His Holy commandments. 38:09 God is almighty God. He is not a fickle man. 38:13 Not God. Jesus? Not Jesus. 38:17 Jesus kept the Sabbath. 38:19 Jesus was a Sabbath keeper, 38:23 so were all of the saints of God. 38:28 Not God, not Jesus, what about the apostles? 38:31 People say, "Oh, no, you got it wrong. 38:34 The apostles kept Sunday, they did not kept the Sabbath." 38:39 That is not so. 38:41 You can read this Bible through from Genesis to Revelation 38:47 and there is not a text in the Bible 38:51 that tells me that the apostles changed the Holy Sabbath. 38:56 All of the Holy Prophets, all of the Holy apostles, 39:03 in the New Testament kept the Holy seventh-day Sabbath. 39:07 This is the truth of God. 39:11 So God didn't change it. 39:15 Jesus didn't change the Sabbath. 39:17 The apostles didn't change the Sabbath. Then who? 39:24 The Bible says, the prophet says, 39:27 that the great antichrist church, 39:32 the great deception would change the holy Sabbath. 39:40 So tonight in honesty and truthfulness 39:46 I turn to my friends in the great 39:49 Roman Catholic Church and I say, 39:53 "Did you change the Sabbath? 39:56 We're going to put it up on the screen. Here it is. 40:00 The Roman Catholic Mirror, look at it. 40:05 These are the words of the Roman church. 40:07 "The Catholic Church for over 1,000 years 40:11 before the existence of a Protestant, 40:15 by virtue of her divine mission, 40:19 changed the day from Saturday to Sunday." 40:25 Now the next statement, "There is but one church 40:31 on the face of the earth which has the power, 40:35 or claims power, to make laws binding on the conscience, 40:41 binding before God, binding under penalty of hell-fire. 40:48 For instance, the institution of Sunday. 40:54 What right has any other church to keep this day? 40:57 You answer by virtue of the third commandment 41:01 which says, 'Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day.' 41:07 But Sunday is not the Sabbath. 41:12 Any schoolboy knows that Sunday is the first day of the week. 41:16 I have repeatedly offered one thousand dollars to anyone 41:23 who will prove by the Bible alone 41:26 that Sunday is the day we are bound to keep, 41:29 and no one has called for the money." 41:35 These are the spokesman of the Roman church. 41:38 Here is the next statement. 41:42 Father Enright, a notable Roman catholic priest said, 41:48 "It was the Holy Catholic Church that changed the day of rest 41:53 from Saturday, the seventh day, 41:56 to Sunday, the first day of the week." 42:01 Who changed the day? 42:05 Now the next statement, 42:08 "Question: Which is the Sabbath day? 42:14 Answer: Saturday is the Sabbath day. 42:21 Question: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday? 42:28 Answer: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday 42:35 because the Catholic Church in the Council of Laodicea 42:41 transferred the solemnity 42:43 from Saturday to Sunday." 42:50 Now these are the spokes people of the Roman church. 42:55 Here's another one, "Question:" This is out of a catechism. 43:00 "Have you any other way of proving that the Church 43:03 has power to institute festivals of precept?" 43:09 how can you prove that she's got the power? 43:12 "Answer: Had she not such power, 43:15 she could not have done that in which 43:18 all modern religionists agree with her. 43:22 She could not have substituted 43:24 the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, 43:30 for the observance of Saturday the seventh day, 43:35 a change for which there is no Scriptural authority." 43:47 So listen to me whether you are one of my beloved 43:52 Roman Catholic friends whom I appreciate and respect, 43:57 or whether you are a Baptist or a Methodist 44:00 or and Adventist or Lutheran or a Jehovah's witness, 44:05 I don't care because God loves us all. 44:09 I am going to take my stand tonight 44:12 with the Lord Jesus Christ. 44:15 I am going to take my stand with the Holy Bible 44:20 and I'm going to take my stand with the commandments of God 44:24 and I'm going to take my stand 44:27 on the seventh day Sabbath, the Lord's Day. 44:31 So help me God. 44:37 So we come back to the text, Daniel Chapter 7:25. 44:45 My friend, this is a water tight case. 44:51 Don't say it doesn't matter. 44:56 Shall we follow Christ 44:58 or shall we follow antichrist, that is the question. 45:03 Here it is, "He will speak against 45:06 the Most High" that is true, 45:09 "and oppress saints" that is true, 45:13 "and try to change the set times and the laws." That is true. 45:20 The Bible says that the great church of the dark ages 45:26 in an act of impiety and blasphemy and presumption 45:33 would set his hand against the creator God 45:37 by changing the holy seventh day Sabbath. 45:45 I turn to the great church of Rome 45:49 and I say, "Did you do it?" 45:52 and he says, "Yes." 45:59 There was an earnest man coming 46:00 to some of our lectures in Australia years ago. 46:05 When he heard this lecture, he was dazed and amazed. 46:10 He could not believe it. 46:11 He said, "Have I been deceived all of my life?" 46:17 And so he went to see the priest. 46:22 Now a bishop who had married him, he hold us his story. 46:29 The bishop brought him into his study. 46:32 He sat down at the desk and he said, 46:35 "Father, you married me. 46:40 My wife and I love you. 46:44 I've been down listening to this man 46:47 and he's preaching out of the Bible. 46:51 And we have never studied the Bible, father. 46:57 He said he is showing us Bible prophesies 47:01 and he's read the statements from our 47:04 own holy mother church about the Sabbath." 47:09 He said, "Father, I know that you'll tell me the truth. 47:16 Did your church change the Sabbath?" 47:24 And that old bishop leaned back in his swivel chair, 47:29 stuck his thumbs in his waist coat 47:34 and he laughed as he said, 47:37 "Of course, we did. 47:39 Who else would dare to?" 47:48 I've lived in America now for 25 years. 47:53 I hold American and Australian citizenship. 47:57 I'm proud of both of my countries. 48:01 In America, Americans are very proud of this flag. 48:07 They call it old glory. 48:12 So many young American soldiers have died 48:17 defending their country and their flag. 48:22 They came here during the II World War 48:27 and they have fought against tyranny. 48:32 If I were to say to an American, 48:35 "Why do you stand up and salute the flag? 48:39 It's only-- it's only just a bit of cotton. 48:44 It's only a bit of cloth and it's red, white and blue. 48:50 It's only a bit of cloth, 48:52 why not put it down and stand on it?" 48:58 And he would say, "It's not that it's a bit of cloth. 49:05 It's what it stands for. It stands for my country. 49:12 The red, white and blue, it stands for liberty, 49:15 it stands for religious freedom, 49:18 it stands for the right of being able to preach 49:21 the word of God without talking 49:23 to the government about it or getting permission. 49:28 It's what it stands for." 49:32 Here in your country you have an unusually beautiful flag. 49:45 Unusually beautiful is the flag of PNG. 49:52 Listen to what I say, it's only a bit of cloth, 49:59 you have the bird of paradise, 50:01 you have the stars and you have those gorgeous colors 50:06 but how would feel if somebody came 50:10 and put it down and stamped on it? 50:17 You would be righteously angry and indignant. 50:21 You would say, "It is not the flag. 50:24 It is my country." 50:30 God gave to the world 50:34 a flag that when it is flown it says, 50:39 "I am your creator, I made you, I love you." 50:47 And every time the Sabbath flag is flown 50:52 it says, "We respect God." 51:01 But the antichrist knew this. 51:05 So he substituted his own flag. 51:10 I want you to know tonight. It is not a case of flags. 51:17 It is not a case of days. 51:21 It is a case of kings, 51:26 the man of Calvary or the man of Rome. 51:33 And tonight I take my stand here 51:37 and before this great audience 51:41 that is filling this massive stadium, 51:44 I say to you that in this matter, 51:47 as an all matters, I say to you, 51:52 as for me and my house, 51:58 I will serve the Lord and be obedient. 52:03 So help me God, Amen. 52:13 I want you now to do something. 52:15 I want you to stand with me and we're going to pray to God. 52:21 And you remember on Tuesday night 52:24 I'm going to speak on the mark of the beast, 52:28 the man with the number 666. 52:32 That is a follow up meeting from this meeting. 52:37 So powerful. 52:41 I want us to bow our heads 52:44 and to close our eyes 52:50 and to be quiet in the presence of the Lord. 52:59 And I'm just going to wait for a moment 53:00 until we have perfect quiet. 53:09 We're going to bow our heads. 53:11 We're going to close our eyes. 53:14 Dear, father God, we thank you tonight 53:16 for this amazing revelation. 53:20 It is plain in the scriptures exactly who this great power is. 53:25 And we've seen tonight the great prophesy 53:27 that says that this great church would think himself 53:32 so powerful that he could change the holy Sabbath of God. 53:38 Tonight, our father, even though some of us may be confused, 53:43 we're not confused about Jesus. 53:47 And tonight we want to send the message to you 53:50 and we want to say, by the grace of God 53:53 we are going to follow Christ. 53:56 We are not going to follow antichrist. 54:00 And our affirmation to You tonight, Lord, 54:04 is by the grace of God we will take our stand with You. 54:11 As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. 54:16 How many tonight in this vast, vast audience 54:20 will raise a hand and say, 54:23 "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord?" 54:30 Would you lift up your hands and lift them up high please 54:34 so that the Lord can see your hands. 54:37 As for me and my house-- can you say it with me tonight? 54:43 As for me and my house 54:48 we will serve the Lord. 54:52 Dear, father, please take these upraised hands tonight, 54:56 tens of thousands of them. 54:59 Take our upraised hands, our upraised hearts 55:04 as we send the message home to heaven tonight 55:07 that by the grace of God we will follow Jesus 55:12 and we will keep His commandments. 55:15 Bless these people with Your peace, 55:18 Your joy, the forgiveness of sins, 55:22 and grant to every person here tonight 55:25 in this vast auditorium, the gift of everlasting life. 55:32 We pray this prayer in Jesus' precious name 55:37 and for His sake, Amen and Amen. 55:45 The Spirit of God today is moving. 55:48 He is moving wherever human hearts sense their need. 55:51 He's moving whenever 55:52 and wherever souls reach out to Him. 55:55 He is moving because these are not ordinary times. 55:58 He is moving through the proclamation 56:00 of His living word. 56:02 During the Port Moresby meetings 56:04 the Spirit of God was powerfully present. 56:07 One evening as Pastor John Carter 56:09 spoke about the Holy Spirit and his work to redeem souls, 56:12 a huge white bird flew low over the audience. 56:16 The congregation of more than 100,000 witnessed the site 56:19 and believed that God had sent them a sign. 56:22 Tens of thousands poured forward 56:25 to accept Christ as Lord and Savior. 56:27 God today is calling you 56:29 as you view this program to come to Him in faith. 56:33 The work of the Holy Spirit is not restricted 56:35 to any one place on earth. 56:37 Wherever you are, He is there.
