All the time. 01:12 All the time. God is good. 01:15 Maranatha. Jesus is coming. 01:18 Jesus is coming. Maranatha. 01:20 All the time. God is good. 01:23 Halleluiah. Praise the Lord. 01:25 You're very good. We're going to close our eyes. 04:03 We're going to lift up our hearts to God. 04:06 And remember all of you, dear folks, 04:09 who promised to pray during this meeting tonight, 04:12 that the Spirit of God is going to be mightily in the meeting. 04:16 Let us pray. 04:18 Our Father in Heaven, we thank You tonight 04:20 for the Lord Jesus Christ. 04:22 We thank You for the great text that Jesus gave us, 04:25 that God so loved the world that He gave His only son 04:28 so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, 04:32 but have everlasting life tonight, Lord, we believe. 04:36 Tonight, Lord, we lift up our hands. 04:38 We lift up our hearts and we say, Lord, we believe, 04:42 we're trusting in Jesus tonight. 04:45 And we're praying that You're gonna bless this vast audience 04:48 here in Papua New Guinea. 04:50 We pray that You will bless this great nation, 04:52 bless the government, bless the Prime Minister, 04:55 bless the ministers of state who came here last night, 04:58 the members of parliament. 05:00 Let them know that we're praying for them, 05:02 that we love them and we support them. 05:05 And we pray tonight, Lord, as the word of God has opened, 05:09 that our ears will be open to the truth of God. 05:12 And that Jesus Christ will step out of the page of the Bible 05:16 and step into our hearts. 05:18 So we worship You, we bless You, 05:20 we praise You, we give You glory 05:22 and we thank You in Jesus name and everybody said, 05:28 amen and amen, please be seated. 05:37 Listen carefully, what I'm going to say. 05:43 If there's any subject that the devil hates, 05:45 it is this subject, "Antichrist in Action." 05:51 The purpose of this meeting is to reveal 05:54 the identification marks of the Antichrist. 05:57 Now listen, I want to tell you all something 06:01 and I want you to hear this, I want you to listen. 06:07 This is a subject that is so profound. 06:10 It has changed the course of history. 06:15 The teaching of this great truth gave birth to freedom 06:20 and the rise of the great democracies. 06:24 I'm going to go gently on this subject tonight. 06:27 I'll be talking somewhat in a more subdued tone 06:32 and everybody here will need to prayerfully 06:34 listen to what is said. 06:37 Because the fate of millions of souls 06:43 could be hanging in the balance tonight, 06:45 your soul could be in the balance. 06:50 I want you to know tonight that the greatest truth in the Bible 06:53 is not the truth about the Antichrist, 06:57 it is the truth about the true Christ, that God loves you. 07:03 Romans 5:8 is right there on the screen 07:09 and I want you to look at it with those eyes of yours. 07:12 "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this, 07:16 while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." 07:21 I want you to know tonight 07:25 that there's no sin so bad that God will stop loving you. 07:30 Jesus went to the cross because He loves you. 07:35 He didn't go to the cross so that He would love you. 07:37 He went to the cross because He does love you. 07:41 There may be some people who've come in here tonight, 07:43 I don't know, I don't believe it would be so, 07:45 but it could be that some people have come in here tonight 07:48 with hearts as hard as a stone. 07:51 I want them to know God loves you, Jesus died for you. 07:59 Many years ago in the great city of New York, 08:01 there was a terrible crisis, there were many gangs, 08:06 and a young minister by the name of Dave Wilkinson 08:10 went to work among those gangs 08:13 and he started to tell them about Jesus. 08:15 He was just like Pastor Billy Garcia, 08:19 who sings like an angel to us every night. 08:22 What a man of God he is. And this man went. 08:27 Pastor Wilkinson worked for the gang members. 08:31 Then the gang members started to come to some of his meetings 08:35 and one night Pastor Wilkinson 08:37 went to a man whose name was Nikki. 08:39 He was a murderer. He was a cold-blooded sinner. 08:44 And Pastor Wilkinson put his arm around him and he said, 08:47 "Nikki, I want you to know, I love you, and God loves you." 08:54 Nikki took out a knife 08:57 and he put it in the pastor's face 08:59 and he said, "I'm going to cut you in a million pieces." 09:04 You see this poor young man 09:07 who was a gang leader was so much on drugs, 09:11 he could not understand how anybody could love him. 09:14 And he said to the pastor, 09:16 "I'm going to cut you in a million pieces." 09:19 And Pastor Wilkinson said to Nikki, 09:22 "You can cut me in a million pieces 09:26 and every one of those pieces is going to say, 'I love you.'" 09:32 When Jesus went to the cross and when His blood dropped down 09:37 from the cross on the ground, 09:39 as the people mocked him and jeered 09:42 and cursed at his holy name, 09:45 every drop of blood that fell to the ground said, 09:50 "I love you, I love you, I love you." 09:55 And I want you to know tonight 09:57 that the greatest truth in the Bible 09:59 is not the truth about the Antichrist. 10:01 It's a truth about the love of God. 10:06 Many people have been brought up to hate God. 10:10 Many people have been brought up to be afraid of God. 10:14 They've been taught about a God who would burn people 10:18 for millions and millions of years 10:22 in an eternally burning hell. 10:28 They look upon God as the torturer in chief, 10:35 that God is not a kind Heavenly Father, 10:37 but He likes to torture people. 10:40 He likes to burn people in the flames. 10:44 I want you to know tonight that the great God that we love 10:48 became a man and died for our sins on the cross. 10:53 Look at this picture of our Lord. 10:56 Remember every drop of blood 10:59 that fell from the wounds in His hands, 11:03 every drop of blood that fell from His sacred brow said, 11:09 "I love you, I love you, I love you." 11:17 Tonight I'm going to show you 11:18 the identification marks of the Antichrist. 11:22 Now I'm going to go through this somewhat softly. 11:27 This meeting will be understood by every person here 11:32 but every person here tonight 11:34 will need to open his heart and concentrate. 11:40 There's something that causes me great, great joy. 11:44 I know that we have thousands and thousands 11:48 and thousands of children here. 11:50 And we have received messages from the children 11:54 that they love the meetings 11:56 and they have such a love for Jesus 12:00 and they love the texts of the Bible 12:02 and they understand what they are hearing. 12:06 So if little children can understand the gospel of Christ 12:11 and the word of God, 12:12 then every person here tonight can understand. 12:16 Here's the first identification mark of the Antichrist, 12:21 the Antichrist the Bible says 12:24 is a sinister counterfeit. 12:30 And all these texts, of course, 12:32 come from The New International Version. 12:35 The first text we're going to look at now, 12:37 the sinister counterfeit 12:39 is 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 4. 12:46 Tonight you're a great class. 12:49 "Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day," 12:56 the coming of Christ, "will not come until the rebellion occurs 13:01 and the man of lawlessness is revealed." 13:04 This is a man who's against the law of God. 13:07 "The man doomed to destruction, He will oppose 13:13 and will exalt himself over everything 13:16 that is called God or is worshiped, 13:20 so that he sets himself up in God's temple, 13:25 proclaiming himself to be God." 13:29 The Bible tells me that the Antichrist 13:34 is a beautiful religious power. 13:39 Oh, you say, I thought the Antichrist was atheism. 13:43 No, my friend, that is evil we know, 13:47 but the Bible says that the Antichrist 13:51 and we're gonna get you to come over here. 13:54 So everybody can see, 13:55 we're gonna get a camera right over here. 13:57 The Antichrist is in, it says, the temple of God. 14:05 He is in the church. 14:11 Oh, my, if you don't understand this, 14:18 the Bible says, you will be deceived. 14:21 I was in Russia a number of years ago. 14:24 When the Russians or some gang members 14:27 were counterfeiting $100 bills 14:32 and so the Russian counterfeiters 14:34 were making $100 bills 14:38 and they looked almost perfect. 14:41 In fact to my untrained eye, they were perfect. 14:45 Now the Antichrist is right there. 14:48 Look over here, the Antichrist you see him there. 14:54 The Bible says he's a wolf in sheep's clothing 15:00 and he hides in the realm of religion. 15:04 He is dressed in the robe of religion, put that in your mind. 15:11 Number two, now you're gonna hear 15:13 something absolutely amazing and wonderful 15:16 and you've got to listen, if you've never listened before, 15:20 the Antichrist rises on the ruins of the Roman Empire. 15:27 Therefore, he is a European power. 15:31 We are going to read Daniel 7:1-8 and 24 15:38 and you can notice, I have a little different style tonight. 15:40 I'm going slowly because I want you to take this in. 15:45 Here we go. Daniel Chapter 7. 15:49 "In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, 15:53 Daniel had a dream, and visions passed 15:56 through his mind as he was lying on his bed. 16:00 He wrote down the substance of his dream." 16:03 And here is a prophet of God, 16:05 and God is giving the prophet a look into the future. 16:09 "Daniel said, 'In my vision at night I looked, 16:12 and there before me were the four winds of heaven 16:15 churning up the great sea. 16:18 Four great beasts, each different from the others, 16:23 came up out of the sea." 16:25 He sees the sea lashed into fury 16:29 and then as he is watching in spellbound fascination, 16:34 he sees four great beasts come up out of the sea. 16:41 "The first was like a lion, and had the wings of an eagle. 16:48 I watched until its wings were torn off. 16:51 It was lifted up from the ground 16:53 so that it stood on two feet like a man. 16:57 And there before me was a second beast, 17:00 which looked like a bear. 17:02 It was raised up on one of its sides, 17:05 and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. 17:09 It was told, get up and eat your fill of flesh. 17:15 After that, I looked, and there before me was another beast, 17:19 one that looked like a leopard. 17:22 And on its back it had four wings like those of a bird. 17:27 This beast had four heads, 17:29 and it was given authority to rule. 17:34 Then the next verse says, 17:36 after that, in my vision at night I looked, 17:38 and there before me was a fourth beast-terrifying 17:43 and frightening and very powerful. 17:46 It had large iron teeth, 17:50 it crushed and devoured its victims 17:53 and trampled underfoot whatever was left. 17:56 It was different from all the former beasts 17:59 and it had ten horns. 18:04 While I was thinking about the horns, 18:06 there before me was another horn, a little one," 18:10 this is the Antichrist, "which came up among them. 18:17 And three of the first horns were uprooted before it. 18:21 This horn had eyes like the eyes of a man 18:28 and a mouth that spoke boastfully." 18:33 Then the Bible goes on to say in this verse. 18:37 "The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. 18:41 After them another king will arise," 18:43 Antichrist "different from the earlier ones, 18:47 he will subdue three kings." 18:52 Now listen carefully as you've never listened before. 18:58 In Bible prophecy, 19:02 a beast represents 19:05 a kingdom or a nation. 19:11 And the first beast that arises, the lion, 19:15 we're going to put him up again and look at this creature, 19:18 this lion with the wings of a bird, 19:23 this lion is the same as the head of gold. 19:30 Remember the great image of Daniel 2, 19:34 the head of gold was Babylon. 19:38 The head of gold, the kingdom of Nebuchadnezzar 19:42 and the lion is the king of beasts. 19:47 And Babylon ruled the world from 605 - 538 BC. 19:55 You say "Are you making this up?" 19:57 No, my friend, this is history. 20:03 And then after Babylon there came the bear. 20:08 And there is the rapacious bear 20:12 and he corresponds to the chest of silver, 20:17 the bear is none other than look at it Medo-Persia. 20:24 When he came upon the world scene, 20:27 there were three kingdoms who tried to keep him down, 20:31 Babylon, Lydia, and Egypt 20:34 symbolized by the ribs in the mouth of the bear. 20:39 And then after the bear, there came the leopard, 20:44 Babylon, Medo-Persia. 20:47 Now we're down in the thighs a bronze 20:51 and you will remember it's as plain as the nose on your face, 20:57 Babylon, Medo-Persia, and this is Greece. 21:05 You say, this is wonderful. 21:06 Yes, it's history written in advance. 21:09 You notice, he's got four wings on his back to symbolize 21:15 the speed of conquests of Alexander the great. 21:20 And when Alexander was dying, 21:22 his generals crowded around his bed and they said, 21:26 "Who shall have the kingdom?" 21:28 He said, "It shall go to the strongest." 21:32 And the kingdom of Alexander was divided 21:35 up among his four warring generals, 21:38 Cassander, Lysimachus, Seleucus and Ptolemy. 21:43 You say, "You sure?" Absolutely, it's history. 21:47 Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece 21:50 and now we come to the rapacious, dreadful, 21:56 dragon or monster that is parallel to the legs of iron. 22:02 Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and now we have and so tell me, 22:09 what is this power? 22:11 I want to hear it louder. 22:14 This is the great iron monarchy of Rome. 22:19 Now notice there, he has ten horns 22:25 and we read before that the ten horns represent ten kingdoms. 22:31 They parallel the ten toes on the metal man, 22:36 Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome, 22:39 the breakup of the Roman Empire 22:41 into the kingdoms and the states of Europe 22:44 as symbolized by the ten toes but here you have ten horns. 22:51 Now the Bible says categorically, 22:54 absolutely plainly 22:56 that in Bible prophecy a horn is a king. 23:03 And these ten horns are symbolic of the ten kingdoms 23:09 that came out of the Roman Empire. 23:14 We would call them today European powers. 23:20 Now this is so incredible and so amazing 23:27 because we discover that the Antichrist 23:31 comes up on the ruins of the Roman Empire. 23:36 This is the word of the Lord. 23:40 And he comes up after 500 AD. 23:45 Daniel 7:24, Daniel 7:24 23:53 and here is the text, I'm gonna read it to you. 23:57 Daniel 7:24, "The ten horns are ten kings 24:05 who will come from this kingdom." 24:07 They are the kings of Europe 24:09 that came out of the Roman Empire. 24:11 Every Church believes that. Everybody knows that. 24:15 Now just hold on for a moment. 24:18 I want to tell you folks something. 24:19 Are you listening? 24:22 God has got His people in every church. 24:26 Do you believe that? Say yes. 24:29 God has got His people in every church. 24:33 I love Roman Catholic people. I appreciate them. 24:37 God has got His people in the Baptist Church, 24:40 the Methodist Church, 24:41 the Episcopalian Church, the Lutheran Church. 24:45 God loves people. 24:46 I want you to know tonight we are not talking about people 24:51 but about a great system of deception 24:56 that is rooted in Europe 24:58 and that reigned during the dark ages. 25:01 We are not talking about people today because God loves people. 25:06 Now look at the text. 25:07 Okay, we're gonna read this text again. 25:10 "The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom." 25:14 That's true. 25:16 "After them another king will arise, 25:22 different from the earlier ones. 25:24 He will subdue three kings." 25:26 He comes up after the kingdoms of Europe 25:30 and the kingdoms of Europe, 25:31 I know from my study of history, were established around 500 AD. 25:38 And so this king comes upon the world scene around 500 AD 25:45 and he becomes a great king and a world power. 25:51 Identification mark number four, the Bible says, 25:55 he overthrows three kings. 25:58 Daniel 7:8 and I want to see the text. 26:04 Daniel 7:8, "While," 26:08 and I want you folks to see it too. 26:10 You see we're going a little slower. 26:13 This is new territory. 26:16 "While I was thinking about the horns," 26:18 the kings of Europe, "there before me was another horn, 26:24 a little one, which came up among them, 26:28 and three of the first horns," kings, "were uprooted before it. 26:34 This horn had eyes like the eyes of man 26:39 and a mouth that spoke boastfully." 26:42 Or great things. 26:45 History tells me that on the ruins 26:47 of the Roman Empire in Europe, 26:50 there arose a king around 500 A.D. 26:53 and he overthrew three European Kings. 26:56 I will tell you who they were, 26:58 the Heruli, the Vandals, and the Ostrogoths. 27:05 He is a counterfeit. 27:06 He is European after 500 27:08 and he overthrows three European Kings. 27:12 We are on track here tonight. 27:14 Now we're going to notice identification mark number 5. 27:18 The Bible says, He is greater than the others 27:23 and the text is Daniel 7:20. 27:27 He starts small. 27:31 He starts in humility but he becomes greater. 27:35 "I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head." 27:39 The Kings of Europe. 27:41 "And about the other horn that came up, 27:43 before which three of them fell--" 27:45 The Heruli, the Vandals, and Ostrogoths. 27:49 "The horn that looked more imposing than the others 27:53 and that had eyes and a mouth that spoke boastfully." 27:58 This king starts in a small way. 28:02 He is in the church of God 28:06 but even though he starts in a small way, 28:09 he becomes the greatest king of the world. 28:14 And he deceives the whole wide world 28:17 because people do not study the prophecies of the Bible. 28:22 The Bible tells me identification mark number 6, 28:26 he is different to any other king in the world. 28:31 And I want you to notice Daniel 7:24. 28:36 I want you to know we are dealing with the truth 28:39 and Jesus said, "You will know the truth 28:42 and the truth will make you free." 28:43 Now look at this. 28:46 I'm glad that you want to be free. 28:47 I'm glad that you want to know the truth. 28:50 Look at this text. 28:51 "The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom." 28:55 These are the kingdoms of Europe. 28:58 "After them another king will arise," 29:01 notice the word, different, different, 29:06 "Different from the earlier ones, 29:08 he will subdue three kings." 29:11 This king is unlike any other king in the whole wide world. 29:17 And I'm going to come over here 29:19 and I'm going to come to the blackboard 29:21 and I want a camera to come with me. 29:23 He is different because Antichrist is where? 29:28 He is in the church. 29:32 The Bible says-- no somebody says, 29:35 "Well, you know, isn't this speculation?" No, it's truth. 29:40 Somebody says, "Where did you get this from?" 29:42 I got this from the Bible. 29:45 Somebody says, "Has anybody else taught this?" 29:47 The greatest theologians, Roman Catholic and Protestant, 29:52 they've all agreed, vast numbers of them 29:54 that this is the truth of the living God. 29:58 And your eyes tonight are going to be opened 30:02 and you're going to walk out of this meeting 30:04 and you are going to this prayer and you are going to say, 30:08 "Thank God, thank you Jesus." 30:12 Now identification mark number 7. 30:15 I'm glad you're with me. 30:18 The Bible says that the Antichrist 30:21 in the church rules for 1,260 days. 30:27 And I'm going to give you two texts. 30:28 Daniel 7:25 and Revelation 12:14, 6. 30:34 I'm going slow. 30:38 I want you to come with me. 30:41 I want every person to be convinced. 30:45 "He will speak against the Most High 30:49 and oppress his saints," you'll persecute. 30:53 "And try to change the set times and the laws." 30:56 That's tomorrow night. 30:58 "The saints will be handed over to him 31:01 for a time, times and half a time." 31:06 Now we are going to look at a text in Revelation. 31:10 The woman, you're learning so much tonight. 31:14 In Bible prophecy, a good woman is the good church. 31:19 But the bad woman is the Antichrist church. 31:24 Look at the text. 31:26 "The woman," this is the true church, 31:28 "was given the two wings of a great eagle, 31:31 so that she might fly to the place 31:33 prepared for her in the desert, 31:35 where she would be taken care of for a time, 31:40 times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach." 31:44 The serpent is the antichrist and the true church, 31:48 my friend, is persecuted by the antichrist 31:52 for a time, times and half a time." 31:54 And then the Bible says, 31:56 "The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared 32:00 for her by God, where she might be 32:02 taken care of for 1,260 days." 32:09 Now come with me, as I go to the blackboard. 32:15 I want you to see this. 32:17 In Bible prophecy a time equals 32:22 1 year, times 2 years, 32:27 half a time 1/2 year. 32:30 So time, times, and half a time 32:32 represents 3 1/2 years. 32:38 And in a prophetic calendar, 32:42 there are 360 days in the year. 32:47 And if you multiply 32:49 3 1/2 by 360 days in a prophetic calendar, 32:55 it comes to 1,260 days. 33:03 And the Bible tells me that the great antichrist 33:08 would rule the world for 1,260 days. 33:10 Now please listen, you are getting so much, 33:13 but this is true. 33:16 When God gave the prophecies, beloved friend, 33:22 He gave them in symbolic language. 33:25 A beast was symbolic of a kingdom 33:28 and a day was symbolic of a year. 33:36 So the Bible says that the Antichrist in the church 33:41 in the dark ages would rule for 1,260 years. 33:48 Tonight we are looking for a religious power 33:52 that dominated Europe in the dark ages 33:57 for more than 1,000 years. 34:02 Identification mark number 8. 34:06 The Bible says that the antichrist, 34:10 now listen carefully. 34:13 The antichrist is an unholy 34:19 union of church and state. 34:23 Now I'm going to turn to the Book of Revelation 17:1-6 34:28 and this will make it plain to you. 34:31 This is a strong, strong passage. 34:35 Revelation Chapter 17 it says, "One of the seven angels 34:40 who had the seven bowls came and said to me, 34:43 'Come, I will show you 34:45 the punishment of the great prostitute, 34:47 who sits on many waters.'" That is the Antichrist. 34:51 "With her the kings of the earth committed adultery 34:55 and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated 34:57 with the wine of her adulteries." 35:00 She got the world drunk. 35:02 "Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a desert. 35:07 There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast." 35:10 This is not the true church. This is the counterfeit church. 35:15 "A woman sitting on a scarlet beast 35:17 that was covered with blasphemous names 35:21 and had seven heads and ten horns." 35:25 It is the Roman beast. 35:27 "The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, 35:30 and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. 35:35 She held a golden cup in her hand, 35:39 filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. 35:46 This title was written on her forehead, 35:51 mystery Babylon 35:56 the great the mother of prostitutes 36:01 and of the abominations of the earth." 36:05 She is a union with the state. 36:08 She is a union of church and state. 36:10 That is the essence of antichrist. 36:13 "I saw that the woman," 36:15 this church, "was drunk with the blood of the saints, 36:19 the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus. 36:23 When I saw her, I was greatly astonished." 36:27 He was astonished because 36:30 here was a woman, look over here. 36:33 The woman is the church, the beast is the state. 36:38 And the woman riding the beast 36:40 is the church united to the state, 36:45 the very essence of antichrist. 36:48 And the Bible tells me 36:49 that the prophet was astonished because this woman, 36:53 can you believe it, 36:55 was persecuting the people of God 36:58 and drinking their blood. 37:00 She is an intolerant persecuting religious organization. 37:12 I'm not making this up. 37:14 I'm reading from the words of God. 37:17 The Bible says that the Antichrist is the great city 37:23 that rules over Europe in the dark ages. 37:27 Revelation 17 and verse 18. 37:31 My friend, how could a person be an unbeliever 37:36 or an atheist and come to these meetings 37:39 and see the word of God and see the prophecies? 37:43 Look at this. 37:44 "The woman you saw is the great city 37:48 that rules over the kings of the earth." 37:52 And I have turned to audiences around the world. 37:56 I've said this to Buddhists. I've said it to Hindus. 38:01 I've said it to Muslims. 38:03 I've said it to Protestants and, my beloved friends, 38:07 the Roman Catholics. 38:08 I've said it to people everywhere. 38:10 Please tell me from history in the days of Christ, 38:15 in the days of the New Testament, 38:17 what was the city that reigned over the kings of the earth? 38:22 And they shout back to me 38:24 and they say, "It is the city of Rome." 38:32 Now listen, listen. 38:37 I'm going to tell you how it happened. 38:42 I'm going to come over to the blackboard. 38:44 I've just about used up the blackboard prematurely, 38:48 but still I'm going to do 38:49 something here on the blackboard. 38:51 I'm going to give you a little history of Christianity 38:54 and religious intolerance. 38:58 Now watch this, we are going to get 38:59 a camera in here somewhere 39:01 and I'm going to try to eke out a little bit of space here. 39:06 This line along here 39:09 will represent the kingdom of Christ. 39:12 And here we will put the cross of Christ. 39:17 We talked about the cross in these meetings 39:19 because the cross is the heart of our faith 39:23 and the heart of Christianity. 39:27 The Bible tells us that after Christ and the apostles, 39:32 the church, get a camera in close, 39:35 the church fell away from the truth. 39:39 The Bible predicted this. 39:41 The Bible says they would come falling away from the truth. 39:47 And paganism invaded the church. 39:51 The church did not only conquer Rome 39:55 but Rome conquered the church. 39:59 And then there came a dreadful time of persecution. 40:07 Millions and millions of people were put to death. 40:12 Church and state joined together 40:19 to persecute the people of God. 40:23 And this time period that lasted roughly from 538, 40:29 keep the camera close, from 538 40:33 right through until 1798 are 1,260 years. 40:40 That time period is called by the historian, 40:44 Roman Catholic, Protestant, 40:47 Muslim and Jews, it is called the dark ages. 40:54 The Bible told the story 40:57 thousands and thousands of years before it happened. 41:03 I want you to know tonight 41:04 that the Bible is the word of God 41:07 and you can believe in the Bible and you can believe in Christ. 41:11 Now listen, my friend, listen, 41:16 Antichrist is more than 41:19 a single organization, it is a spirit. 41:24 It is the spirit of intolerance. 41:27 It is the spirit of tampering with the word of God. 41:32 It is the spirit of putting tradition 41:35 over the teachings of Christ. 41:37 It is the spirit of hurting people 41:41 and persecuting people. 41:46 I believe that every person has the right to believe 41:52 what he wants to believe. 41:54 I believe that the minority has the right to hold firmly 41:58 to their convictions even if everybody says they're wrong. 42:05 Let me tell you folks something, 42:08 these great prophecies made it possible 42:14 for us to come here to PNG. 42:18 These great prophecies gave birth 42:22 to the spirit of freedom. 42:25 Did you know this? 42:28 When the Puritans came to the United States of America, 42:31 you would've loved them. 42:34 They came to the United States of America 42:37 because they were fleeing the persecutions 42:41 of the great state church in Europe. 42:47 And they came because they understood 42:51 the prophecies of the Bible. 42:53 And that is why they built there 42:56 or they had a gift given to them from France 42:59 the Statue of Liberty 43:01 where every person has the right to worship God 43:07 according to the dictate of his conscience. 43:14 You have the right to be what God wants you to be. 43:20 That is the gift of God, my friend. 43:26 But the Antichrist didn't think so. 43:30 The Bible tells me 43:31 that the antichrist was a great persecuting power. 43:39 Identification mark number 10. 43:43 The antichrist, this Pseudo-Christian power 43:47 is a persecuting power. 43:49 Daniel 7 and verse 25. 43:54 Notice the text. 43:56 "He will speak against the Most High 44:00 and oppress his saints." 44:03 He will persecute the people of God. 44:06 He will persecute the true church. 44:09 "And try to change the set times and the laws. 44:12 The saints will be handed over to him 44:14 for a time, times and half a time." 44:17 1,260 years, the Dark Ages, 44:22 the noon day of that system was the midnight of the world. 44:29 It was the preaching of these great truths 44:32 that gave birth to freedom in the world today. 44:35 And I say, thank you, God. 44:39 Now, my friend, I'm going to show you some pictures. 44:43 This is for the sake of history. 44:48 You can go and check up on me 44:50 whether you are a Protestant or a Catholic or a Muslim. 44:56 There was a time in Europe 44:58 when the truth of God almost went out. 45:02 Historians tell me that millions of people 45:07 were put to death because they read the Bible. 45:13 These are pictures of the Inquisition. 45:19 Go check it online. Go read it in encyclopedia. 45:27 These monstrous devices were used to persecute 45:33 the innocent people of God. 45:39 And it was done by a religious power 45:43 that put itself in the place of God. 45:46 Here is a picture of the St. Bartholomew Massacre 45:50 that I took over in the city of Rome. 45:54 It shows a great group of people 45:57 being put to death because of their faith. 46:01 You notice this woman here, 46:02 she is an earnest Roman Catholic, 46:06 depraved Antichrist put to death. 46:10 Protestants, Roman Catholics, Jews, 46:17 anybody who dare to say I will worship God 46:23 according to the dictates of my conscience. 46:28 I went into a church and there is the woman herself 46:34 that symbolizes the church. 46:36 In one hand, my beloved friends, 46:38 she has a cross and in the other hand, 46:42 she has the flames of persecution. 46:48 I show you these things so that you will have no doubt 46:53 that the Bible is true 46:56 and the prophecy has come to pass 46:59 and it could be tonight 47:00 that somebody is saying, "Oh, this is so strong." 47:04 I want you to know tonight that Jesus loves you. 47:09 I want you to know tonight 47:10 that Jesus loves you and He cares for you, 47:14 and He wants you in the kingdom of God. 47:18 Identification mark number 11. 47:23 The Bible says that the Antichrist 47:25 or this great Pseudo-Church 47:29 with so much pomp and splendor and power and armies 47:34 would receive a deadly wound 47:39 or a mortal wound as it says in the NIV. 47:42 Revelation 13 says this. 47:45 Now, my friend, I am not speculating. 47:49 I'm reading to you the texts of the Bible 47:52 and I'm telling you the facts of history. 47:54 "One of the heads of the beast 47:56 seemed to have had a fatal wound, 47:59 but the fatal wound had been healed. 48:01 The whole world was astonished 48:03 and followed the beast of this kingdom." 48:07 This great power became a world power around 538 A.D. 48:14 That is history. 48:16 And if you add, and we put this up on the screen a moment ago. 48:20 This great power ruled for 1,260 years. 48:25 And if you add 1,260 years on to 538, 48:29 now we proved this to you, it comes to the year 1798. 48:36 Look at it, it is history. This is not speculation. 48:40 And you say to me, "In the name of God 48:43 what happened from 538 to 1798?" 48:49 About 50 or 60 or 70 million people murdered 48:55 because they would not follow 48:57 the teachings of that organization. 49:00 But in 1798, General Berthier, 49:04 one of the generals of Napoleon Bonaparte 49:07 after the French Revolution, 49:10 marched down into Rome and the leader of that 49:13 great organization was taken prisoner. 49:18 And the whole world cried out. 49:20 This power has received a deadly wound. 49:23 And they believed it with all their hearts 49:26 and they believed it because it was true. 49:29 But the Bible told the story 2,000 years before it happened. 49:36 But identification mark number 12 must be studied. 49:42 Revelation 13:3 says that this power 49:46 that received the mortal wound, 49:49 that was struck down in 1798 will come back, 49:53 will hold the power of the dark ages. 49:57 Revelation 13:3, and I want to tell, you folks, tonight, 50:05 by the grace of God, I'm here tonight 50:09 to pay witness to the truth. 50:12 Jesus said that He bore witness to the truth. 50:17 Jesus said, "You will know the truth 50:19 and the truth will make you free." 50:21 And by the grace of God, 50:23 I'm dedicated tonight to preaching the truth of God 50:27 so help me God. 50:29 And I want you to understand the truth, 50:31 and I want even the children tonight, 50:34 little children to say, this is so plain 50:37 that I can understand the word of God. 50:41 Look at the text, "One of the heads of the beast 50:45 seemed to have had a fatal wound," 50:47 that happened in 1798. 50:51 "But the fatal wound had been healed. 50:53 The whole world was astonished and followed the beast." 50:57 The Bible says, that this great organization 51:01 would receive a deadly wound, 51:04 but the Bible says that the deadly wound would be healed 51:08 and the power would come back with all its might 51:11 and belligerence of the dark ages. 51:16 Now identification mark number 13. 51:21 And that is Daniel 7:25. 51:25 And I'm going to talk about this tomorrow night. 51:28 And this is the most amazing of the whole series 51:33 and you need to hear it. 51:36 "He will speak against the Most High." 51:39 He will say that He has the power 51:41 to forgive the sins of man, only God can do that. 51:45 "And oppress his saints." History tells us He did that. 51:48 "And try to change the set times and the laws." 51:52 The Bible says that this power would become so mighty 51:58 and so confident and so sure of Himself 52:02 that He would reach out a blasphemous hand 52:05 and he would attack the holy law of God. 52:11 And tomorrow night I'm going to give you 52:12 the facts of history, 52:13 and I'm going to put out statements on the screen 52:16 that will daze and amaze you. 52:20 Identification mark number 14 tells me 52:24 that this great system of church and state that persecutes 52:29 endures to the second coming of Christ. 52:33 Daniel 7:25-27, 52:38 notice the word of God. 52:42 My friend, I want to follow the word of God. 52:46 I want to be faithful. 52:48 I want to preach the word of God. 52:50 And I want you to come with me. 52:53 Hear what I'm saying? 52:56 The Bible says, "He will speak against the Most High," He has, 53:02 "and oppress his saints," 60 million of them, 53:05 "and try to change the set times and the laws. 53:10 The saints will be handed over to him 53:12 for a time, times and half a time," 1,260 years. 53:17 But" and here is the good news. 53:19 "But the court will sit," God was still on his throne, 53:23 "but the court will sit, and his power will be taken away 53:27 and completely destroyed forever. 53:32 Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of the kingdoms 53:37 under the whole heaven will be handed over to the saints, 53:41 the people of the Most High. 53:44 His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, 53:47 and all rulers will worship and obey him." 53:50 Listen, my friend, look at me. 53:53 The Bible says, this power that received 53:58 the deadly would is going to come back 54:00 and the Bible says, 54:02 He is going to have a brief reign of great power 54:08 and magnificent authority 54:12 and once again He will persecute the people of God. 54:16 But the Bible tells me 54:18 as He moves to persecute the people of God, 54:22 Jesus is going to come 54:25 and Jesus is going to save His people, 54:28 Hallelujah, praise the Lord. 54:37 You really are a great audience. 54:42 Listen now, listen, listen, listen. 54:49 Bible prophecy tells me 54:52 the Antichrist rises on the ruins of the Roman Empire. 54:59 He is a European power. 55:02 He comes up after 500 A.D. 55:08 He overthrows three European kings. 55:12 Just giving this to you from my memory 55:15 but the men are helping me 55:17 so my memory doesn't have to work anymore. 55:20 Overthrows three Kings. 55:21 Five, he is greater than the others. 55:23 He is different, He is religious. 55:25 He rules for 1,260 days or years. 55:28 He is a union of Church and State. 55:30 He is the great city that is the city of Rome. 55:33 He persecutes, history tells me so. 55:36 Roman Catholic historians tell me so. 55:38 Protestants confirm it.
