Have you got it? 00:02:56.20\00:03:02.58 Says, 00:03:02.61\00:03:03.95 "And the Lord will make you," what does it say? 00:03:03.98\00:03:05.81 "He is gonna make you the head. 00:03:05.85\00:03:08.45 He's going to make you the head and not the tail. 00:03:08.48\00:03:11.99 You shall be above only and not beneath, 00:03:12.02\00:03:16.89 if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, 00:03:16.93\00:03:20.50 which I command you today, 00:03:20.53\00:03:22.73 and are careful to observe them." 00:03:22.76\00:03:24.87 God says, 00:03:24.90\00:03:26.80 "The closer you come to Him 00:03:26.84\00:03:28.34 and the closer you come to doing the will of God, 00:03:28.37\00:03:31.04 the better you're going to be." 00:03:31.07\00:03:33.17 You're going to be eating honey out of the rock. 00:03:33.21\00:03:36.81 The Bible says, 00:03:36.85\00:03:38.18 "You're going to be the head 00:03:38.21\00:03:40.92 and you're not going to be the tail." 00:03:40.95\00:03:42.92 In fact, 00:03:42.95\00:03:44.35 you're going to be on top 00:03:44.39\00:03:48.06 even if you're down under. 00:03:48.09\00:03:50.33 Have you seen this map? 00:03:50.36\00:03:52.39 New Zealanders invented this map 00:03:52.43\00:03:55.40 and it turns the world upside down. 00:03:55.43\00:03:59.20 Have you seen this map before? 00:03:59.23\00:04:01.60 This is a real map. 00:04:01.64\00:04:04.61 You, Americans, have just been deceived for so long. 00:04:04.64\00:04:07.84 This is how it really is. 00:04:07.88\00:04:09.78 And as David pointed at to me today on this map 00:04:09.81\00:04:12.91 which was worked out by the New Zealanders, 00:04:12.95\00:04:15.18 it's, not even Australia 00:04:15.22\00:04:16.75 that's on top of the world or New Zealand, 00:04:16.79\00:04:19.12 bless your heart. It's Chile. 00:04:19.15\00:04:23.83 Somebody said, but of course, that's absolutely ridiculous. 00:04:23.86\00:04:27.76 But did you know, 00:04:27.80\00:04:30.20 in space, 00:04:30.23\00:04:31.57 there's no such thing as North, 00:04:31.60\00:04:33.23 South, East, and West. 00:04:33.27\00:04:35.24 Is there now? 00:04:35.27\00:04:37.27 And so this person, 00:04:37.31\00:04:38.64 just having a little bit of fun 00:04:38.67\00:04:40.74 turned the world upside down. 00:04:40.78\00:04:47.08 The topic is 00:04:47.12\00:04:48.55 "On Top When You're Down Under." 00:04:48.58\00:04:52.79 Now, this is the truth that I want you to get down 00:04:52.82\00:04:55.42 into the molecules of your mind. 00:04:55.46\00:04:58.49 God will bless you in proportion 00:04:58.53\00:05:02.03 to your conformity to the will of God. 00:05:02.06\00:05:05.10 God will bless you in proportion 00:05:08.47\00:05:11.24 to your conformity to the will of God. 00:05:11.27\00:05:13.88 You are saved... 00:05:13.91\00:05:15.24 Now, we're talking about salvation. 00:05:15.28\00:05:16.85 You are saved by grace through faith alone. 00:05:16.88\00:05:19.75 You are not saved by your works. 00:05:19.78\00:05:22.08 You are not saved 00:05:22.12\00:05:23.45 by keeping the commandments of God. 00:05:23.49\00:05:26.79 This is what the Bible teaches. 00:05:26.82\00:05:28.22 Ephesians Chapter 2, and other passages. 00:05:28.26\00:05:30.53 But listen, listen. 00:05:30.56\00:05:32.73 There's another side to the coin. 00:05:32.76\00:05:36.50 Salvation is by grace, 00:05:36.53\00:05:38.47 but prosperity is the fruitage of obedience 00:05:38.50\00:05:42.94 to good principles, 00:05:42.97\00:05:45.24 including health, 00:05:45.27\00:05:47.98 and the closer you approximate the will of God, 00:05:48.01\00:05:54.18 the more blessed, the more fruitful, 00:05:54.22\00:05:58.09 the more healthful you are going to be. 00:05:58.12\00:06:01.72 I'm going to say something 00:06:01.76\00:06:03.09 which is totally, politically incorrect. 00:06:03.12\00:06:07.60 But I thought it on mind being politically incorrect 00:06:07.63\00:06:10.43 because I really am. 00:06:10.47\00:06:14.24 This is true. 00:06:14.27\00:06:15.70 I've travelled the world, 00:06:15.74\00:06:17.21 gone round it many, many times, 00:06:17.24\00:06:18.67 gone to so many countries. 00:06:18.71\00:06:21.28 The best countries in the world... 00:06:21.31\00:06:23.14 Oh, somebody says, 00:06:23.18\00:06:24.51 "You can't say one country is better than another." 00:06:24.55\00:06:26.78 "Oh, you can't? 00:06:26.82\00:06:29.08 Try going and living in some countries." 00:06:29.12\00:06:30.99 Why do you think people by the millions 00:06:31.02\00:06:33.56 are trying to get into America 00:06:33.59\00:06:35.82 and are trying to break down the doors? 00:06:35.86\00:06:38.73 Would you like to know why? 00:06:38.76\00:06:41.03 It's better here. 00:06:41.06\00:06:43.90 There are some countries where it's better, 00:06:43.93\00:06:47.17 and some countries are a living hell. 00:06:47.20\00:06:51.01 I've been to those countries. 00:06:51.04\00:06:52.94 It may be politically incorrect, but it is correct. 00:06:52.97\00:06:56.71 The countries that came... 00:06:56.75\00:06:59.21 Now this is the most of all political incorrectness. 00:06:59.25\00:07:03.12 The countries that came out, 00:07:03.15\00:07:06.32 originated in the Protestant Reformation 00:07:06.35\00:07:12.03 became the best countries in which to live. 00:07:12.06\00:07:16.63 That's not because the people were intrinsically better, 00:07:16.67\00:07:21.04 but because the people 00:07:21.07\00:07:23.00 were following better principles. 00:07:23.04\00:07:28.14 That's why people are breaking down the walls 00:07:28.18\00:07:32.48 to get into America and some other countries. 00:07:32.51\00:07:36.42 Let me give you a few facts about Australia, 00:07:36.45\00:07:38.89 the land of my birth. 00:07:38.92\00:07:40.82 And if it seems today that I am boasting, 00:07:40.86\00:07:45.73 it's possibly because I am. 00:07:45.76\00:07:47.96 But Americans will understand 00:07:48.00\00:07:50.47 one boaster to another. 00:07:50.50\00:07:55.80 Okay, we can have a little bit of fun. 00:07:55.84\00:07:58.07 Australia was discovered and claimed by Britain in 1770. 00:07:58.11\00:08:04.28 It was discovered by Captain James Cook 00:08:04.31\00:08:08.15 of Her Majesty's ship, The Endeavour. 00:08:08.18\00:08:13.15 He discovered a large deserted place 00:08:13.19\00:08:16.96 of three million square miles. 00:08:16.99\00:08:20.00 It's big as the United States, the continental USA, 00:08:20.03\00:08:24.03 inhabited by different tribes of aborigines. 00:08:24.07\00:08:30.01 There were no towns, no cities, 00:08:30.04\00:08:33.91 no buildings, no roads, no written language, 00:08:33.94\00:08:38.78 no cattle, no sheep, no goats, no horses 00:08:38.81\00:08:42.62 but millions of kangaroos and koala bears. 00:08:42.65\00:08:47.59 Previously, 00:08:47.62\00:08:48.96 it had been discovered by the Dutch 00:08:48.99\00:08:50.66 who called it New Holland, 00:08:50.69\00:08:54.03 though it certainly didn't look like Holland. 00:08:54.06\00:08:59.13 The American experience and the Australian experience, 00:08:59.17\00:09:04.24 they're quite similar. 00:09:04.27\00:09:08.21 American and the Indians is quite similar to Australia 00:09:08.24\00:09:12.78 and the aborigines. 00:09:12.81\00:09:16.48 And the whites did some very bad things. 00:09:16.52\00:09:20.66 The early English in Australia 00:09:20.69\00:09:22.82 because we were descended from the English. 00:09:22.86\00:09:26.76 They did some bad things to the aborigines, 00:09:26.80\00:09:30.13 and Australia has been doing penance ever since. 00:09:30.17\00:09:35.97 With billions and billions 00:09:36.00\00:09:37.77 and billions of dollars in aid, 00:09:37.81\00:09:43.04 but I'm sorry to tell you, 00:09:43.08\00:09:44.45 you do not solve some problems 00:09:44.48\00:09:46.65 by throwing money at the problems. 00:09:46.68\00:09:50.42 As Americans have discovered 00:09:50.45\00:09:53.86 that we have poured tens of trillions of dollars 00:09:53.89\00:09:59.13 into the inner cities 00:09:59.16\00:10:00.66 since the days of LBJ, 00:10:00.70\00:10:03.83 and there is more crime today in America 00:10:03.87\00:10:07.30 than before the invention of the great society. 00:10:07.34\00:10:12.77 So money is not the solution to all of our problems. 00:10:12.81\00:10:18.45 Who were the early settlers of the land down under? 00:10:18.48\00:10:23.28 Well, they were convicts, and soldiers, and officers, 00:10:23.32\00:10:29.82 and government officials, and chaplains. 00:10:29.86\00:10:33.50 One of the first buildings they put up 00:10:33.53\00:10:36.00 after they landed in Sydney Cove was a church. 00:10:36.03\00:10:41.50 And the convicts got a healthy dose of religion 00:10:41.54\00:10:45.77 between the lashes, 00:10:45.81\00:10:47.94 and so they would be lashed for next to nothing 00:10:47.98\00:10:51.28 and then, 00:10:51.31\00:10:52.78 they would have prayers said over their heads. 00:10:52.81\00:10:56.95 So the early Australians got lashings and prayers, 00:10:56.99\00:11:01.32 which is one of the reasons so many Australians 00:11:01.36\00:11:04.59 are somewhat anti-establishment 00:11:04.63\00:11:08.90 and distrust churches, and big titles, and officials. 00:11:08.93\00:11:15.17 Australia, however, 00:11:18.31\00:11:19.87 in spite of all herd of fish and seas 00:11:19.91\00:11:22.94 was based on Christian principles. 00:11:22.98\00:11:26.82 It was not established as a Muslim country 00:11:26.85\00:11:31.35 or as a Hindu country. 00:11:31.39\00:11:35.26 One of the leaders of Australia, 00:11:35.29\00:11:37.23 a number of years ago, said to those people 00:11:37.26\00:11:40.30 who were immigrated to Australia, 00:11:40.33\00:11:42.40 and who were trying to destroy the place 00:11:42.43\00:11:46.00 and impose upon the Australians, 00:11:46.03\00:11:48.37 sharia law, 00:11:48.40\00:11:51.71 the law of the Quran. 00:11:51.74\00:11:53.14 He said, "Pardon me. 00:11:53.17\00:11:55.71 When you come to Australia, 00:11:55.74\00:11:57.55 you have many rights, 00:11:57.58\00:12:00.32 you have the right of freedom of religion, 00:12:00.35\00:12:04.29 and freedom of speech. 00:12:04.32\00:12:05.92 You can criticize the government all-day long 00:12:05.95\00:12:09.22 until the cows come home." 00:12:09.26\00:12:11.49 He said, "You have many, many freedoms, 00:12:11.53\00:12:14.30 but remember this, 00:12:14.33\00:12:16.30 this country was based on Christian principles, 00:12:16.33\00:12:20.50 not on the teachings of Muhammad." 00:12:20.54\00:12:23.61 So he said, 00:12:23.64\00:12:24.97 "We extend to you a warm welcome, 00:12:25.01\00:12:27.18 you are welcome here, and you have many rights. 00:12:27.21\00:12:33.42 And there's another right you have. 00:12:33.45\00:12:35.22 If you don't like it here, 00:12:35.25\00:12:38.12 you have the right to leave, 00:12:38.15\00:12:43.02 the right to leave." 00:12:43.06\00:12:45.59 And, of course, that was politically incorrect, 00:12:45.63\00:12:47.96 but he told the truth. 00:12:48.00\00:12:51.87 Australia was based on Christian principles. 00:12:51.90\00:12:55.57 Today, it's only a little country in population, 00:12:55.60\00:13:00.64 but it is the 12th largest economy in the world. 00:13:00.68\00:13:05.31 And the Economist Magazine 00:13:05.35\00:13:07.02 that everybody who wants to know anything reads, 00:13:07.05\00:13:10.99 the Economist Magazine says, 00:13:11.02\00:13:13.42 "It has had the best economy in the world 00:13:13.46\00:13:15.62 for the last 20 years, 00:13:15.66\00:13:18.16 but success in material things is not enough." 00:13:18.19\00:13:22.93 Jesus said, 00:13:22.96\00:13:24.40 "Man shall not live by bread alone, 00:13:24.43\00:13:28.27 but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." 00:13:28.30\00:13:34.34 And you can make a country tremendously prosperous, 00:13:34.38\00:13:38.15 and that country can still go to hell. 00:13:38.18\00:13:42.15 You understand what I'm talking about here today? 00:13:42.18\00:13:45.25 There are things more important 00:13:45.29\00:13:48.59 than a booming economy. 00:13:48.62\00:13:53.13 But when we'd look at the economy in Australia today, 00:13:53.16\00:13:57.20 one is forced to say, 00:13:57.23\00:13:58.60 "One can succeed in spite of your background." 00:13:58.63\00:14:02.74 You should never let the past hold you back. 00:14:05.77\00:14:09.64 I'd be proud to say, 00:14:09.68\00:14:12.61 "My great, great, great grandfather was a convict," 00:14:12.65\00:14:17.75 like my friend, Graham Bradford was proud of saying. 00:14:17.79\00:14:21.36 He said, "One of my ancestors came out in the first fleet, 00:14:21.39\00:14:25.26 one of my ancestors was a convict." 00:14:25.29\00:14:27.30 I can't say that and I regret it. 00:14:27.33\00:14:30.10 My folks came out long after the convicts, 00:14:33.77\00:14:36.14 they came from England and Ireland. 00:14:36.17\00:14:40.98 The early Australians were largely a Christian people 00:14:41.01\00:14:45.51 who feared God and who believed in hard work. 00:14:45.55\00:14:49.82 When I was brought up in Australia, 00:14:49.85\00:14:52.35 even though it was fast becoming a secular nation, 00:14:52.39\00:14:56.66 I was taught up to fear God and respect God, 00:14:56.69\00:15:02.03 to love God, 00:15:02.06\00:15:04.27 and to love my country, and to honor the King. 00:15:04.30\00:15:09.10 I was brought up with patriotism, 00:15:09.14\00:15:12.04 but with the Bible. 00:15:12.07\00:15:13.41 My earliest days were being taught from the Word of God. 00:15:13.44\00:15:16.95 When I went to state school, listen to this, 00:15:16.98\00:15:19.71 can you believe this, my Americans friends? 00:15:19.75\00:15:22.35 When I went to state school, as a little boy, 00:15:22.38\00:15:25.92 the first thing we did was the headmaster, 00:15:25.95\00:15:28.49 Mr. Conroy would say, 00:15:28.52\00:15:30.86 "Before we start this day, 00:15:30.89\00:15:32.79 we will have a text from the Bible." 00:15:32.83\00:15:36.56 And we were taught a text. 00:15:36.60\00:15:38.40 If we didn't learn it, we get a beating. 00:15:38.43\00:15:43.14 And then he would say, 00:15:43.17\00:15:44.51 "Let us pray to the great God who made us." 00:15:44.54\00:15:46.71 And he would say the prayer in Jesus' name, 00:15:46.74\00:15:50.91 in the name of our Lord and our Savior. 00:15:50.95\00:15:54.98 Even today, 00:15:55.02\00:15:56.89 pastors go to state schools and teach the Bible. 00:15:56.92\00:16:02.42 It is the part of our culture. 00:16:02.46\00:16:06.49 I was brought up believing in hard work. 00:16:06.53\00:16:09.33 I have no sympathy for lazy people. 00:16:09.36\00:16:14.44 The Bible says, 00:16:14.47\00:16:16.24 "If a person will not work," it doesn't say can't work. 00:16:16.27\00:16:20.64 "But if a person will not work, neither should he eat." 00:16:20.68\00:16:26.48 And if we let lazy people starve for a little bit, 00:16:26.51\00:16:29.82 they might reform their morals. 00:16:29.85\00:16:33.19 So I was brought up in a society 00:16:33.22\00:16:35.52 that believed in the Bible and believed in hard work. 00:16:35.56\00:16:40.06 Just because you're down under, 00:16:40.10\00:16:41.43 doesn't mean you can't be on top. 00:16:41.46\00:16:43.67 Do not let the past hold you back. 00:16:43.70\00:16:47.37 You all know of Dr. Ben Carson, 00:16:47.40\00:16:49.80 one of the most famous doctors in the world, 00:16:49.84\00:16:52.17 the famous neurosurgeon from John Hopkins University. 00:16:52.21\00:16:58.38 I heard Dr. Carson, he is getting this wonderful, 00:16:58.41\00:17:02.15 wonderful gift from President George Bush. 00:17:02.18\00:17:08.52 He said this, 00:17:08.56\00:17:10.49 "My ancestors in America were slaves, 00:17:10.53\00:17:16.26 but I'm not going to let my past 00:17:16.30\00:17:19.47 determine who I am." 00:17:19.50\00:17:23.10 You hear what I'm saying? 00:17:23.14\00:17:24.47 I don't care if your ancestor was a slave 00:17:24.51\00:17:30.51 or a convict. 00:17:30.55\00:17:32.41 That does not define who you are. 00:17:32.45\00:17:36.92 I am defined by my relationship to God, 00:17:36.95\00:17:40.06 and to my brothers and my sisters. 00:17:40.09\00:17:43.63 You hear what I am saying? 00:17:43.66\00:17:46.43 So it doesn't matter where you came from 00:17:46.46\00:17:49.76 or whether your ancestor was a convict. 00:17:49.80\00:17:53.54 Indulge me. 00:17:53.57\00:17:54.90 I wanna give you some more facts about Australia. 00:17:54.94\00:17:56.97 Paul said, "Bear with me in my boastings." 00:17:57.01\00:18:00.48 2 Corinthians 11:18. 00:18:00.51\00:18:03.04 I'm going to read this text 00:18:03.08\00:18:04.88 because it justifies my conduct to praise him. 00:18:04.91\00:18:08.15 Paul says, "Seeing that many boast, 00:18:08.18\00:18:11.15 according to the flesh," oops, "I also will boast." 00:18:11.19\00:18:15.42 And so I'm going to ask my... 00:18:15.46\00:18:17.56 Now, the Australians watching this program 00:18:17.59\00:18:19.89 will be saying amen and amen, 00:18:19.93\00:18:22.56 but I'm talking here today to my friends in America, 00:18:22.60\00:18:25.17 this land that I love. 00:18:25.20\00:18:26.84 Let me share with you a few facts 00:18:26.87\00:18:28.74 about the land down under. 00:18:28.77\00:18:31.74 It is a big country, 00:18:31.77\00:18:34.28 a three million square miles, 00:18:34.31\00:18:35.64 but has a small population of 25 million people. 00:18:35.68\00:18:42.08 The size of three million square miles makes it 00:18:42.12\00:18:44.95 the biggest island under God's blue sky 00:18:44.99\00:18:48.09 and the smallest inhabitant. 00:18:48.12\00:18:51.19 If you, notice on the screen, here we've got it. 00:18:51.23\00:18:56.26 There you got Australia, 00:18:56.30\00:18:57.97 you can work it out very, very plainly. 00:18:58.00\00:19:00.67 And there in the yellow, 00:19:00.70\00:19:02.40 you have the United States of America. 00:19:02.44\00:19:05.64 People say, "No, no, no." 00:19:05.67\00:19:09.18 They will say, "We never, never knew this." 00:19:09.21\00:19:11.01 When I went to Texas, 00:19:11.05\00:19:13.01 the Texans told me 00:19:13.05\00:19:14.52 that Texas was bigger than Australia. 00:19:14.55\00:19:18.69 God bless them. That's patriotism, folks. 00:19:18.72\00:19:21.29 That's really good. 00:19:21.32\00:19:22.72 But if you fly, 00:19:22.76\00:19:24.09 say from Perth over here right across Sydney, 00:19:24.13\00:19:29.76 it's like flying from Los Angeles to New York. 00:19:29.80\00:19:35.07 Once you go to Australia, 00:19:35.10\00:19:36.60 you seem to be able to drive forever 00:19:36.64\00:19:40.64 without seeing anybody. 00:19:40.68\00:19:43.88 America has 330 million people in the same size, 00:19:43.91\00:19:48.68 but Australia has 25 million. 00:19:48.72\00:19:50.49 People have often said to me, 00:19:53.49\00:19:55.16 "What's the climate like in Australia?" 00:19:55.19\00:19:57.99 Oh, you want to know what the climate's like? 00:19:58.03\00:20:00.60 What part of Australia? 00:20:00.63\00:20:03.47 Because if you go to the far north in Australia, 00:20:03.50\00:20:06.40 and I've been there, 00:20:06.43\00:20:08.20 you have the tropics, everything is upside down. 00:20:08.24\00:20:12.01 In the South, it's cold, but in the North, 00:20:12.04\00:20:15.64 you have the tropics with water buffalo 00:20:15.68\00:20:20.02 and salt water crocodiles that we call salties. 00:20:20.05\00:20:26.19 Somebody came to me before and said, 00:20:26.22\00:20:28.29 "Look at this giant alligator 00:20:28.32\00:20:30.53 that they caught down in Florida." 00:20:30.56\00:20:33.70 Oh dear! 00:20:33.73\00:20:36.46 Seven hundred pounds, oh dear. 00:20:36.50\00:20:40.47 This crocodile was caught when I was over there recently. 00:20:40.50\00:20:44.14 I was not there. 00:20:44.17\00:20:45.51 This is in the northern territory 00:20:45.54\00:20:46.88 more than 1000 miles from where I was. 00:20:46.91\00:20:50.18 But this monster was 18 feet 3 inches long 00:20:50.21\00:20:55.52 and weighed more than a ton, 00:20:55.55\00:20:59.45 about four times bigger than a big Florida alligator. 00:20:59.49\00:21:04.86 This wide at the shoulders, 00:21:04.89\00:21:07.76 can run almost as fast as a horse 00:21:07.80\00:21:10.30 when he gets up on those legs for just a little bit. 00:21:10.33\00:21:14.10 With a great intelligence, he stalks his prey. 00:21:14.14\00:21:19.74 So that is in the northern territory, water buffalo 00:21:19.77\00:21:25.75 and the salties in the south. 00:21:25.78\00:21:29.55 In wintertime, 00:21:29.58\00:21:30.92 there are mountains which had deluged with snow. 00:21:30.95\00:21:36.26 There is more snow on the Southern Alps 00:21:36.29\00:21:41.26 in winter time than in all of Switzerland. 00:21:41.30\00:21:45.73 What does that prove? 00:21:45.77\00:21:47.10 That Switzerland is just a little country, 00:21:47.14\00:21:51.04 but there is a lot of snow, I've seen it. 00:21:51.07\00:21:54.44 When you can't see the tops of the telegraph poles 00:21:54.48\00:21:58.11 that are 30 feet high, 00:21:58.15\00:22:00.32 the poles just sticking at the top. 00:22:00.35\00:22:04.19 And so in a good winter, there's lots of snow. 00:22:04.22\00:22:09.59 It is a wealthy country, 00:22:09.62\00:22:11.99 like the great United States of America that I love 00:22:12.03\00:22:16.43 and the countries that came out of the Protestant Reformation. 00:22:16.46\00:22:21.40 Australia has been blessed with freedom and prosperity, 00:22:21.44\00:22:25.77 it is still riding the wave. 00:22:25.81\00:22:29.61 And lot of people don't understand this. 00:22:29.64\00:22:31.11 Let me show you the wave. 00:22:31.15\00:22:34.05 The world was in the Dark Ages, in poverty, 00:22:34.08\00:22:38.92 no freedom, no liberty. 00:22:38.95\00:22:41.12 People say, "No, this is not politically correct, 00:22:41.16\00:22:42.52 this is not true." 00:22:42.56\00:22:43.89 No, it is true. 00:22:43.93\00:22:45.76 It is true. Go, please. 00:22:45.79\00:22:49.13 Become intelligent with history. 00:22:49.16\00:22:50.87 Then there came the Protestant Reformers, 00:22:50.90\00:22:53.34 Martin Luther and Co, 00:22:53.37\00:22:56.04 and they preached the true gospel of Christ, 00:22:56.07\00:22:58.71 and they preached the Bible. 00:22:58.74\00:23:01.74 And this brought upon the world 00:23:01.78\00:23:04.71 the great wave of freedom. 00:23:04.75\00:23:07.52 If the Protestant Reformation had not been carried out 00:23:07.55\00:23:12.35 by the great people like Martin Luther, 00:23:12.39\00:23:14.72 there would have been no America, 00:23:14.76\00:23:17.69 no Canada, no Great Britain. 00:23:17.73\00:23:21.60 Why do you think the people from 00:23:21.63\00:23:25.30 this area, the Dark Ages, 00:23:25.33\00:23:27.14 the church of the Dark Ages, 00:23:27.17\00:23:28.70 why are they trying to get into Australia? 00:23:28.74\00:23:31.07 Why are they trying to get into America? 00:23:31.11\00:23:33.07 Please be honest. 00:23:33.11\00:23:35.14 Because it's better here, 00:23:35.18\00:23:37.88 because the Protestant Reformation gave birth, 00:23:37.91\00:23:41.78 my friend, 00:23:41.82\00:23:43.15 to the great democracies. 00:23:43.18\00:23:48.52 And unless you have this great reformation, 00:23:48.56\00:23:51.63 you don't have the great democracies, 00:23:51.66\00:23:53.36 and the great democracies 00:23:53.40\00:23:55.03 brought about an era of freedom. 00:23:55.06\00:23:57.80 And today, even though the wave is greatly, 00:23:57.83\00:24:01.40 greatly diminished, 00:24:01.44\00:24:05.11 we're still riding a little bit of the wave. 00:24:05.14\00:24:09.34 And that is why America is still prosperous. 00:24:09.38\00:24:15.95 There are two countries, I'm not ashamed to say it, 00:24:15.98\00:24:19.05 very close to my heart. 00:24:19.09\00:24:20.42 I love England. 00:24:20.46\00:24:21.92 My ancestors came from England. 00:24:21.96\00:24:24.83 I love royalty, it's part of me, 00:24:24.86\00:24:28.66 I was born with this. 00:24:28.70\00:24:30.70 Used to sing "God save the King" 00:24:30.73\00:24:32.93 every morning at school. 00:24:32.97\00:24:36.24 But the two countries closest to my heart, 00:24:36.27\00:24:39.41 Australia and the United States of America, 00:24:39.44\00:24:44.91 they were founded on the same great principles, 00:24:44.95\00:24:47.72 Christian principles. 00:24:47.75\00:24:49.58 We were not founded on the Quran. 00:24:49.62\00:24:52.55 Don't listen to the lies where people tell us 00:24:52.59\00:24:56.46 that the founding fathers of this country were atheists. 00:24:56.49\00:25:00.70 That's a lie. 00:25:00.73\00:25:02.96 Lie, lie, lie! 00:25:03.00\00:25:05.93 George Washington said, 00:25:05.97\00:25:07.54 "It's impossible to govern a nation 00:25:07.57\00:25:10.87 without God and the Bible. 00:25:10.91\00:25:14.44 So don't let people put you down. 00:25:14.48\00:25:17.75 I have great love for America, 00:25:17.78\00:25:21.38 I have great love for the land of my birth. 00:25:21.42\00:25:23.79 I have two passports. 00:25:23.82\00:25:26.86 I'm blessed to call both countries home. 00:25:26.89\00:25:32.56 I've been blessed to live in places 00:25:32.59\00:25:35.90 where people read and believe the Bible, 00:25:35.93\00:25:41.94 where I was taught to fear God 00:25:41.97\00:25:43.97 and to work hard. 00:25:47.08\00:25:48.41 Now we're going to have a little pause, 00:25:51.41\00:25:53.15 but I'm going to be back with more amazing truths 00:25:53.18\00:25:57.95 from the land down under, 00:25:57.99\00:25:59.32 how can you be on top 00:25:59.35\00:26:01.89 even when your grandfather was a slave or a convict?
