This prophecy is very, very old.

prophet by the name of Daniel

work of the antichrist

work of restoration.

talk about devastation

but restoration.

and I saw in the vision

river was a ram, had two horns.

The two horns were high

higher than the other,

So in his vision, he
sees this tremendous ram.

you who are not familiar

prophecies of the Bible,

In Bible prophecy
which is symbolic,

a beast is
symbolic of a kingdom.

the great prophecy

which was
symbolic of the kingdom

of Medo-Persia.

Now, last week
we studied Daniel 7.

It started there with a lion
but then it went to the bear.

And Daniel 7, and Daniel
8, you got to stay with me.

They are parallel prophecies.

And in Daniel 7,
the bear is Medo-Persia.

But in Daniel 8, it is
the ram which is Medo-Persia.

So we are going
over the same ground.

Daniel 8:4 says,

westward, northward, southward

deliver from his hand.

He did according to his

So this is a
picture of the conquest

of the armies of Medo-Persia
under Cyrus the Great.

conquered the then known world,

Then he came to the
ram, that's Medo-Persia,

confronting the ram,

Now, any school boy or
school girl will tell you,

it was Babylon
followed by Medo-Persia.

It was followed by Greece
under Alexander the Great.

And so back in Daniel 7,
Greece is liken to the leopard,

very fast creature.

The four heads, the
break up of the Grecian Empire.

But in Daniel 8,
00:13:09.92\00:13:12.35
Greece is likened
to this thundering ram.

And he has this tremendous
horn between his eyes.
00:13:15.86\00:13:19.43
And the Bible says,

"This is the
first king of Greece."

And every school child knows
that the great King of Greece

was none other than
Alexander the Great.

Now what the skeptic
needs to hear today is this,

a tremendous dumping down

You see, I don't believe
in God because of blind faith.
