Jesus was saying, 00:06:52.77\00:06:56.46 "I am the sun, if you follow me, 00:06:56.47\00:06:59.63 you'll never walk in darkness, 00:06:59.64\00:07:01.71 but you'll have the light of life." 00:07:01.72\00:07:05.01 Either Jesus therefore was every thing He said He was, 00:07:05.02\00:07:10.40 everything He claimed to be or else He was a raving lunatic. 00:07:10.41\00:07:18.29 Some people say he was a good man and we will admit that. 00:07:18.30\00:07:22.28 My friend, do not dare patronize Him. 00:07:22.29\00:07:27.74 He is either what He claimed to be the light of the world, 00:07:27.75\00:07:32.20 or else He was a stark raving lunatic, a mad man. 00:07:32.21\00:07:38.91 Imagine if any preacher would have come here today, 00:07:38.92\00:07:41.67 imagine if I were to say to you, 00:07:41.68\00:07:44.05 "I am the light of the world. 00:07:44.06\00:07:47.10 If you follow me, you will never walk in darkness, 00:07:47.11\00:07:51.32 but you will have the light of life." 00:07:51.33\00:07:54.01 You would say, he is absolutely bonkers. 00:07:54.02\00:07:58.39 He is crazy. 00:08:01.84\00:08:04.10 Nothing compares on our planet to the sun. 00:08:04.11\00:08:07.54 Jesus is 'Incomparable.' 00:08:07.55\00:08:12.94 Nothing can compare to Him. 00:08:12.95\00:08:15.98 I want you to come over now to John 14:6. 00:08:15.99\00:08:20.68 John 14:6, please. And I want you to please turn 00:08:23.68\00:08:31.42 to the text and those of you watching at home 00:08:31.43\00:08:34.64 may be go get a Bible and turn to the text, 00:08:34.65\00:08:38.02 "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. 00:08:38.03\00:08:43.15 No one comes to the Father except through Me.'" 00:08:43.16\00:08:46.46 I would suggest you today that the vast majority of people 00:08:46.47\00:08:51.89 who professed to be Christians haven't got a clue 00:08:51.90\00:08:56.16 what that text is saying. What about you? 00:08:56.17\00:08:59.98 Jesus is the way, the truth and the life 00:08:59.99\00:09:04.20 and you can't be saved in any other way 00:09:04.21\00:09:07.20 through a personal experience with Christ. 00:09:07.21\00:09:12.18 He is matchless, He is unequal, He is second to none. 00:09:12.19\00:09:18.71 He is not in the same category as any other person. 00:09:18.72\00:09:22.36 He is surpassing transcendent. Without peer, He is unequalled. 00:09:22.37\00:09:29.91 He is the way, the truth and the life. 00:09:29.92\00:09:32.53 I've had the privilege to study the lives 00:09:32.54\00:09:35.02 and deeds of great men of history 00:09:35.03\00:09:38.84 who helped to make this world a better and a safer place. 00:09:38.85\00:09:43.69 Men like Abraham Lincoln, 00:09:43.70\00:09:48.51 the great liberator. 00:09:48.52\00:09:52.92 This man who trusted in God was the man 00:09:52.93\00:09:57.38 who broke the chains on the slaves here 00:09:57.39\00:10:01.38 in the United States of America and then Winston Churchill, 00:10:01.39\00:10:07.12 I read about Churchill for years. 00:10:07.13\00:10:09.48 My admiration grows as time goes by. 00:10:09.49\00:10:12.78 He was the man who said, "Never, never, never give up." 00:10:12.79\00:10:20.51 And when England was facing the hordes of the Nazis' 00:10:20.52\00:10:28.04 and when London was burning at night 00:10:28.05\00:10:31.33 and when Hitler was glutting over 00:10:31.34\00:10:34.26 the demise of Great Britain, 00:10:34.27\00:10:37.82 he said, "I've nothing to offer but blood, sweat and tears. 00:10:37.83\00:10:43.90 We will go on." What is that our aim? 00:10:43.91\00:10:48.80 Victory, total victory at any cost, 00:10:48.81\00:10:54.25 the great man. 00:10:54.26\00:10:57.08 And then of course there was a man who gave us liberty, 00:10:57.09\00:11:02.37 gave the Jewish people Israel, liberty, Moses. 00:11:02.38\00:11:07.01 Then there was Gandhi, the man who through not fighting, 00:11:07.02\00:11:14.61 but through peaceful means liberated the nation of India. 00:11:14.62\00:11:20.86 Martin Luther, the great protestant reformer who said, 00:11:20.87\00:11:26.46 as he stood before the great of the earth, 00:11:26.47\00:11:29.58 "I will not recant 00:11:29.59\00:11:33.13 here I stand." Great man. 00:11:33.14\00:11:37.89 Another man, an American, almost took his name, 00:11:37.90\00:11:43.12 Martin Luther King, you remember 00:11:43.13\00:11:45.63 he was the great civil rights activist here 00:11:45.64\00:11:49.69 in the United States of America 00:11:49.70\00:11:51.55 who fought against the terrible racism 00:11:51.56\00:11:55.35 that had plagued this country for hundreds of years 00:11:55.36\00:11:58.96 and we remember his speech, "I have a dream, 00:11:58.97\00:12:03.65 I climbed the mountain and I've seen the promise land." 00:12:03.66\00:12:10.33 Then if you go back many years to the days 00:12:10.34\00:12:13.62 of the Spanish armada, when the church of Rome said, 00:12:13.63\00:12:18.54 "we're going to crush this power." 00:12:18.55\00:12:22.32 There was Queen Elizabeth 00:12:22.33\00:12:27.60 and then later still there was the man 00:12:27.61\00:12:30.47 who saved Britain from a bloody French Revolution, 00:12:30.48\00:12:34.57 my hero, John Wesley. 00:12:34.58\00:12:40.26 And within our lifetime, 00:12:40.27\00:12:43.46 a Russian, Mikhail Gorbachev, 00:12:43.47\00:12:48.84 who allowed the masses to go free 00:12:48.85\00:12:51.84 from the slavery of communism. 00:12:51.85\00:12:55.40 Almost all of these man looked to Christ for inspiration. 00:12:55.41\00:13:00.37 But the more you study, 00:13:00.38\00:13:03.39 besides their great deeds are many glaring imperfections. 00:13:03.40\00:13:09.11 But the more you study the life of Christ, 00:13:09.12\00:13:11.49 I say to the skeptic and the critic, be honest. 00:13:11.50\00:13:16.71 The better he gets, like a rare jewel of exquisite worth 00:13:16.72\00:13:23.42 and unblemished and dazzling splendor is Christ, 00:13:23.43\00:13:28.72 He is Incomparable. In spite of his followers and detractors, 00:13:28.73\00:13:35.93 He had done more good than the rest of humanity combined. 00:13:35.94\00:13:43.79 And today, I want you to notice 00:13:43.80\00:13:46.95 with me here in this beautiful church. 00:13:46.96\00:13:51.78 I want you to notice six stories from the life of Jesus. 00:13:51.79\00:13:58.46 The first story is called Jesus, 00:13:58.47\00:14:03.51 the defender of women. 00:14:03.52\00:14:07.44 The text is found in Mark Chapter 14, 00:14:07.45\00:14:10.43 Matthew Mark, Mark 14 00:14:10.44\00:14:13.28 and this is dedicated to the women in our church. 00:14:13.29\00:14:18.98 Mark Chapter 14:3 to 9, "While he was in Bethany, 00:14:18.99\00:14:26.03 reclining at the table in the home of a man 00:14:26.04\00:14:28.99 known as Simon the leper, 00:14:29.00\00:14:32.48 a woman came with an alabaster jar 00:14:32.49\00:14:35.31 of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard." 00:14:35.32\00:14:40.70 Worth tens of thousands of dollars. 00:14:40.71\00:14:44.13 "She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head. 00:14:44.14\00:14:49.08 Some of those present were saying 00:14:49.09\00:14:52.04 indignantly to one another, "Why this waste of perfume? 00:14:52.05\00:14:56.57 It could have been sold for more than a year's wages 00:14:56.58\00:15:00.83 and the money given to the poor." 00:15:00.84\00:15:04.15 And they rebuked her harshly. 00:15:04.16\00:15:08.84 'Leave her alone,' said Jesus. 00:15:08.85\00:15:13.24 'Why are you bothering her? 00:15:13.25\00:15:17.00 She has done a beautiful thing to me. 00:15:17.01\00:15:19.30 The poor you will always have with you, 00:15:19.31\00:15:22.47 and you can help them any time you want. 00:15:22.48\00:15:25.76 But you will not always have me. 00:15:25.77\00:15:27.55 She did what she could. 00:15:27.56\00:15:29.90 She poured perfume on my body 00:15:29.91\00:15:32.01 beforehand to prepare me for my burial. 00:15:32.02\00:15:36.85 I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached 00:15:36.86\00:15:40.12 throughout the world, 00:15:40.13\00:15:41.46 what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.'" 00:15:41.47\00:15:49.40 Jesus said to the critics, 00:15:49.41\00:15:53.68 leave her alone, 00:15:53.69\00:15:57.88 He liberated her then and He is liberating women today. 00:15:57.89\00:16:03.77 He's the defender of women. 00:16:03.78\00:16:06.11 And if you doubt this I say to all of the women's libbers, 00:16:06.12\00:16:12.26 God bless you and everybody else. 00:16:12.27\00:16:16.11 If you think Jesus is not responsible for you liberty, 00:16:16.12\00:16:21.21 go to those countries, where Jesus is not worshiped 00:16:21.22\00:16:25.68 and there women are nothing. 00:16:25.69\00:16:29.88 It is Christ who restored women. 00:16:32.90\00:16:36.81 Would you come over here to Luke 8:1 to 3. 00:16:36.82\00:16:40.10 It is incredible that a woman should ever criticize Christ. 00:16:40.11\00:16:44.49 Very few do. Luke Chapter 8:1 to 3, 00:16:44.50\00:16:49.70 "After this, Jesus traveled about from one town 00:16:49.71\00:16:53.71 and village to another, proclaiming 00:16:53.72\00:16:56.03 the good news of the kingdom of God. 00:16:56.04\00:16:59.80 The Twelve were with him, and also some women 00:16:59.81\00:17:04.10 who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases. 00:17:04.11\00:17:07.50 Mary, called Magdalene from whom seven demons had come out. 00:17:07.51\00:17:14.06 Joanna the wife of Cuza, the manager of Herod's 00:17:14.07\00:17:18.34 household, Susanna, and many others. 00:17:18.35\00:17:21.78 These women were helping to support him 00:17:21.79\00:17:24.70 out of their own means." 00:17:24.71\00:17:26.63 My friends can you get the picture? 00:17:26.64\00:17:29.51 When Jesus came to town, His entourage, 00:17:29.52\00:17:35.23 when Jesus came to town, there were the disciples 00:17:35.24\00:17:39.41 and a great number of women there were with Him 00:17:39.42\00:17:44.79 because He loved them. 00:17:44.80\00:17:48.74 They loved Him, because He loved them and set them free 00:17:48.75\00:17:52.72 from the suppression of man made laws. 00:17:52.73\00:17:58.51 Wherever Jesus goes women are elevated 00:17:58.52\00:18:03.32 and only in those countries where Christ is Lord. 00:18:03.33\00:18:07.22 No women should be against Jesus. 00:18:07.23\00:18:09.52 Thus He is the incomparable emancipator. 00:18:09.53\00:18:16.01 There's no one like Him for women. 00:18:16.02\00:18:19.85 Notice the second story, Jesus, The Teacher. 00:18:19.86\00:18:24.61 No one like Him, come over here 00:18:24.62\00:18:26.05 to Matthew Chapter 5:38 and onwards, 00:18:26.06\00:18:31.13 Matthew 5:38 and onwards. 00:18:31.14\00:18:36.07 Notice a sample of his extraordinary teachings. 00:18:36.08\00:18:43.91 Matthew 5:38, "You have heard that it was said, 00:18:43.92\00:18:48.01 according to Mosses, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.' 00:18:48.02\00:18:52.70 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. 00:18:52.71\00:18:55.83 If someone strikes you on the right cheek, 00:18:55.84\00:18:58.65 turn to him the other also. 00:18:58.66\00:19:00.86 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your tunic, 00:19:00.87\00:19:04.41 let him have your cloak as well. 00:19:04.42\00:19:06.77 If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 00:19:06.78\00:19:11.53 Give to the one who asks you, 00:19:11.54\00:19:14.59 and do not turn away from the one 00:19:14.60\00:19:16.46 who wants to borrow from you. 00:19:16.47\00:19:19.80 You have heard that it was said, 00:19:19.81\00:19:22.05 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 00:19:22.06\00:19:26.82 But I tell you, love your enemies 00:19:26.83\00:19:30.46 and pray for those who persecute you, 00:19:30.47\00:19:32.77 that you may be the sons of your Father in heaven. 00:19:32.78\00:19:36.38 He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, 00:19:36.39\00:19:40.48 and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous." 00:19:40.49\00:19:46.71 Those of you, who trust in armies and in swords 00:19:46.72\00:19:50.61 and atom bombs and all of those things here in America, 00:19:50.62\00:19:56.21 let me tell you something, 00:19:56.22\00:19:59.37 Jesus never lost a battle. 00:19:59.38\00:20:04.06 Our armies have, frequently. 00:20:04.07\00:20:08.12 The nation that relies upon its armies 00:20:11.00\00:20:14.25 is doomed to self destruct. 00:20:14.26\00:20:19.85 There is something bigger than armies, than tanks, 00:20:19.86\00:20:22.84 and aircraft carriers and Hydrogen bombs. 00:20:22.85\00:20:26.47 When the disciples went out to confront the Roman Empire, 00:20:26.48\00:20:30.97 they did not go with swords, 00:20:30.98\00:20:33.43 they went with the teachings of the Christ. 00:20:33.44\00:20:36.58 And the teachings of Christ are greater than any army 00:20:36.59\00:20:42.62 including the Marines and the Air core 00:20:42.63\00:20:47.59 and anybody else you should dare mention. 00:20:47.60\00:20:51.57 Today, mightier than swords, arrows, guns, tanks, 00:20:51.58\00:20:58.97 fighter jets, aircraft carriers 00:20:58.98\00:21:02.60 and bombs, are His teachings, 00:21:02.61\00:21:08.45 therefore He is the teacher without compare, 00:21:08.46\00:21:16.04 He is the incomparable teacher. 00:21:16.05\00:21:23.18 The third story, so what is my argument today? 00:21:23.19\00:21:26.07 My argument is this, unless you're His disciples, 00:21:26.08\00:21:33.25 you are a person most of epithet. 00:21:33.26\00:21:37.72 We should never scorn the atheist. 00:21:37.73\00:21:40.03 We should pray for the atheist, 00:21:40.04\00:21:41.86 because he is spiritually a pauper. 00:21:41.87\00:21:47.13 But with Christ, the poorest man is rich, 00:21:47.14\00:21:50.49 but without Christ the richest man is poor. 00:21:50.50\00:21:55.61 Notice the third story, Jesus and a condemned woman 00:21:55.62\00:22:01.81 caught in the act by the rat pack. 00:22:01.82\00:22:06.74 Would you please notice this, John 8:1 to 11. 00:22:06.75\00:22:12.83 The story of a condemned woman 00:22:12.84\00:22:16.68 caught in the act by the rat pack. 00:22:16.69\00:22:21.83 John Chapter 8:1 down to 11, 00:22:21.84\00:22:26.39 "But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 00:22:26.40\00:22:29.57 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, 00:22:29.58\00:22:32.06 where all the people gathered around him, 00:22:32.07\00:22:34.07 and he sat down to teach them. 00:22:34.08\00:22:37.07 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees 00:22:37.08\00:22:39.66 brought in a woman caught in adultery." 00:22:39.67\00:22:42.18 How did they do it, I wonder? 00:22:42.19\00:22:45.55 Because they have device the whole thing. 00:22:45.56\00:22:51.68 They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, 00:22:51.69\00:22:54.42 "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 00:22:54.43\00:23:00.63 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. 00:23:00.64\00:23:04.52 Now what do you say?" 00:23:04.53\00:23:06.13 They were asking this question as a trap, 00:23:06.14\00:23:08.49 in order to have a basis for accusing him. 00:23:08.50\00:23:12.55 But Jesus bent down and started to write 00:23:12.56\00:23:14.73 on the ground with his finger. 00:23:14.74\00:23:16.67 When they kept on questioning him, 00:23:16.68\00:23:19.08 he straightened up and said to them, 00:23:19.09\00:23:20.94 "If any one of you is without sin, 00:23:20.95\00:23:23.45 let him be the first to throw a stone at her.' 00:23:23.46\00:23:27.89 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. 00:23:27.90\00:23:32.87 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, 00:23:32.88\00:23:38.44 the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, 00:23:38.45\00:23:42.65 with the woman still standing there. 00:23:42.66\00:23:44.91 Jesus straightened up and asked her, 00:23:44.92\00:23:48.08 "Woman, where are they? 00:23:48.09\00:23:51.94 Has no one condemned you? No one, sir," she said. 00:23:51.95\00:23:58.86 "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. 00:23:58.87\00:24:03.25 "Go now and leave your life of sin.'" 00:24:03.26\00:24:09.73 Would you please for a moment imagine the scene 00:24:09.74\00:24:16.14 and the drama of the events. 00:24:16.15\00:24:19.50 Here is a nameless woman, 00:24:19.51\00:24:24.97 and the people who've caught her 00:24:24.98\00:24:27.52 are the super religious, the Pharisees. 00:24:27.53\00:24:34.97 The leaders of the so called church. 00:24:34.98\00:24:38.38 It was obvious that one of their number was the man 00:24:41.40\00:24:46.22 who was committing the adultery, 00:24:46.23\00:24:48.95 but why is it that they didn't bring 00:24:48.96\00:24:52.58 the man and throw him down? 00:24:52.59\00:24:56.27 It reminds one of the stories in a Middle Eastern custom 00:24:56.28\00:25:01.22 where if a woman commits adultery, 00:25:01.23\00:25:04.18 she is buried in the desert sand up to her nose 00:25:04.19\00:25:08.58 and the man is buried up to his ankles. 00:25:08.59\00:25:13.46 Why? Because people do not worship this man 00:25:13.47\00:25:19.67 who was beyond compare, 00:25:19.68\00:25:21.76 who was second to none, that is why. 00:25:21.77\00:25:26.37 And those of you who live in a country like America 00:25:26.38\00:25:32.35 or Australia, or Canada, or Britain 00:25:32.36\00:25:37.45 that is been influenced by Christ in the Bible, 00:25:37.46\00:25:41.29 you ought to thank God, 00:25:41.30\00:25:45.12 or else you too may be buried up to your neck, 00:25:45.13\00:25:48.80 up to your nose in the sand. 00:25:48.81\00:25:53.91 The women of the story 00:25:53.92\00:25:55.11 was a victim of religious pretenders. 00:25:55.12\00:26:00.66 Jesus gave to this nameless woman hope. 00:26:00.67\00:26:05.23 He restored her self-respect. 00:26:05.24\00:26:07.96 He forgave her sins 00:26:07.97\00:26:11.68 and drove off the rat pack. 00:26:11.69\00:26:16.03 He's been doing it ever since. 00:26:16.04\00:26:19.80 You know the story of the old skeptic, 00:26:19.81\00:26:21.66 and the little girl's new Bible. 00:26:21.67\00:26:24.62 The daddy went along to see the old skeptic who was dying. 00:26:24.63\00:26:30.11 Dying without God, without Christ. 00:26:30.12\00:26:33.16 And the young man said, let me give you my Bible 00:26:33.17\00:26:38.74 and may be you'll start to read my Bible and you'll find hope. 00:26:38.75\00:26:42.98 He said, get out of here 00:26:42.99\00:26:45.48 and take your old Bible with you. 00:26:45.49\00:26:50.68 Young man went home and told to his wife 00:26:50.69\00:26:53.34 with the little girl listening. 00:26:53.35\00:26:56.47 And he said, "The old man said get out of here, 00:26:56.48\00:27:00.89 I don't want your old Bible." 00:27:00.90\00:27:03.27 And the little girl thought to herself, 00:27:03.28\00:27:06.74 maybe, maybe. 00:27:06.75\00:27:11.32 So she went and saw the old man, 00:27:11.33\00:27:15.51 the old skeptic who was dying and she said, 00:27:15.52\00:27:18.53 "Daddy told me you don't want his old Bible, 00:27:18.54\00:27:24.27 but mommy and daddy gave me a new Bible for my birthday. 00:27:24.28\00:27:28.40 May be I can give you my new Bible, 00:27:28.41\00:27:33.96 and she left it and ran. 00:27:33.97\00:27:38.22 Before he dies, the old harden sinner wrote the poem. 00:27:38.23\00:27:46.05 I've tried in vain a thousand ways 00:27:46.06\00:27:48.98 My fears to quell, my hopes to raise, 00:27:48.99\00:27:52.65 But what I need, the Bible says, 00:27:52.66\00:27:56.62 Is ever, only Jesus. 00:27:56.63\00:27:59.80 My soul is night, my heart is steel 00:27:59.81\00:28:03.64 I cannot see, I cannot feel, 00:28:03.65\00:28:06.87 For light, for life I must appeal 00:28:06.88\00:28:10.61 In simple faith to Jesus. 00:28:10.62\00:28:14.32 He died, He lives, He reigns, He pleads, 00:28:14.33\00:28:18.44 There's love in all His words and deeds, 00:28:18.45\00:28:21.92 There's all a guilty sinner needs 00:28:21.93\00:28:25.52 forevermore in Jesus. 00:28:25.53\00:28:30.77 Though some will mock, and some will blame, 00:28:30.78\00:28:35.34 I'll go with all my sin and shame, 00:28:35.35\00:28:39.50 I'll go to Him because His name 00:28:39.51\00:28:43.62 above all names, is Jesus. 00:28:43.63\00:28:48.12 Have you gone to Him, friend? 00:28:48.13\00:28:50.61 As you're watching on television, 00:28:50.62\00:28:52.02 have you gone to Him? 00:28:52.03\00:28:55.89 He is the incomparable redeemer. 00:28:55.90\00:29:00.91 He is the redeemer without compare, 00:29:00.92\00:29:05.47 without comparison. The fourth story is, 00:29:05.48\00:29:09.46 Jesus at a funeral. 00:29:09.47\00:29:12.72 The funeral of a man, 00:29:12.73\00:29:15.19 he'd been dead for some days. 00:29:15.20\00:29:17.18 You turn over the pages in John, 00:29:17.19\00:29:19.14 you come to John 11:38 and onwards. 00:29:19.15\00:29:22.28 This man's name was Lazarus. 00:29:22.29\00:29:25.00 He died, was dead for four days 00:29:25.01\00:29:27.80 and Jesus comes apparently too late. 00:29:27.81\00:29:33.53 John 11:38 and onwards, Jesus gets there, 00:29:33.54\00:29:37.40 I am sorry after the funeral, too late. 00:29:37.41\00:29:40.71 "Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb." 00:29:40.72\00:29:44.98 Now before I go any further, 00:29:44.99\00:29:47.21 please look at me for a moment. 00:29:47.22\00:29:49.74 You wonder why I read the Bible. 00:29:49.75\00:29:53.05 I read the Bible because I need the Bible. 00:29:53.06\00:29:56.06 I need the Bible because I am a sinner, 00:29:56.07\00:29:58.58 because I am weak. And without the word of God, 00:29:58.59\00:30:03.10 I am completely nothing at all. 00:30:03.11\00:30:06.38 I know there are people in this congregation, 00:30:06.39\00:30:08.07 you're so proud and you're so self sufficient, 00:30:08.08\00:30:11.26 may be not proud but it is a form of pride. 00:30:11.27\00:30:14.47 But you are so self sufficient that you don't read your Bible, 00:30:14.48\00:30:17.64 I know that. How do I know? 00:30:17.65\00:30:20.22 I can tell it by the lives you live. 00:30:20.23\00:30:23.19 I can tell it by your indifference, 00:30:23.20\00:30:25.96 your lack of zeal for God, your lack of love for the lost. 00:30:25.97\00:30:32.99 And in this church we turn to the Bible, 00:30:33.00\00:30:36.04 because in this church our authority is not the church. 00:30:36.05\00:30:40.75 In this church our authority is not a committee. 00:30:40.76\00:30:45.13 In this church our authority is not a conference. 00:30:45.14\00:30:48.43 Our authority is the Bible, the word of God. 00:30:48.44\00:30:53.58 We believe in the great protestant principle. 00:30:53.59\00:30:56.61 People have been writing me letters and they say, 00:30:56.62\00:30:59.33 you know, we're supposed to believe in this, 00:30:59.34\00:31:01.67 but when you go to many churches. 00:31:01.68\00:31:03.72 People don't know their Bibles, they don't read their Bibles, 00:31:03.73\00:31:06.58 they don't quote from the Bible 00:31:06.59\00:31:08.04 and the preacher doesn't even preach from it, 00:31:08.05\00:31:12.26 because he's a clergyman. 00:31:12.27\00:31:16.33 So we read the Bible, we believe in Sola Christus, 00:31:16.34\00:31:19.76 only Christ, Sola scriptura, Sola gratia, Sola fide. 00:31:19.77\00:31:24.25 Only Christ, only scripture, only grace, only faith. 00:31:24.26\00:31:27.98 And you need the Holy Spirit to get this into your mind. 00:31:32.54\00:31:35.37 A preacher can be a great preacher 00:31:35.38\00:31:37.04 and you can preach hard to people, 00:31:37.05\00:31:39.23 but because of their indifference 00:31:39.24\00:31:41.47 and they think they know it all. 00:31:41.48\00:31:44.18 Let me tell you this, you get rid of that notion. 00:31:44.19\00:31:48.48 You're ready for this? 00:31:48.49\00:31:49.58 This is one of the dumbest 00:31:49.59\00:31:51.07 of all civilizations in the history of the world. 00:31:51.08\00:31:56.69 People know trivia, but they don't know 00:31:56.70\00:31:58.80 the most important things. They don't know how to live. 00:31:58.81\00:32:04.34 And if they don't think they need the scriptures. 00:32:04.35\00:32:06.35 Did you know they discovered now there is a new addiction 00:32:06.36\00:32:11.06 which is as bad as taking drugs, 00:32:11.07\00:32:14.34 you know what it is? Addiction to the internet. 00:32:14.35\00:32:18.35 Playing these crazy games. 00:32:18.36\00:32:21.13 In South Korea alone there're two million young men 00:32:21.14\00:32:26.42 who are complete addicts to the internet. 00:32:26.43\00:32:30.10 Just want to be surfing the internet, playing games. 00:32:30.11\00:32:33.01 I've got people who come-- I know them in the church, 00:32:33.02\00:32:37.47 they can't wait till they get home, 00:32:37.48\00:32:39.00 here they go again, they're addicted. 00:32:39.01\00:32:42.52 And you know what it does? It destroys them. 00:32:42.53\00:32:45.56 It decrease their mental abilities, 00:32:45.57\00:32:48.53 and their social skills. You can't talk to them, 00:32:48.54\00:32:51.45 because they don't know what to say, 00:32:51.46\00:32:53.71 they're dumb, they're dumb 00:32:53.72\00:32:56.96 and they're sick and they need the word of God. Amen. 00:32:56.97\00:33:00.89 You know what I'm saying? 00:33:00.90\00:33:03.79 So in this church, we try to be faithful to God 00:33:03.80\00:33:07.51 and we try to be faithful to the congregation. 00:33:07.52\00:33:11.96 So let's read the text, 00:33:11.97\00:33:14.72 "Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. 00:33:14.73\00:33:18.00 It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 00:33:18.01\00:33:20.86 'Take away the stone,' he said. 00:33:20.87\00:33:22.83 'But, Lord,' said Martha, the sister of the dead man, 00:33:22.84\00:33:25.70 'by this time there is a bad odor, 00:33:25.71\00:33:27.82 for he has been there four days.' 00:33:27.83\00:33:29.53 Jesus said, 'Did I not tell you that if you believed, 00:33:29.54\00:33:32.95 you will see the glory of God?'" 00:33:32.96\00:33:36.09 People would say, seeing is believing. 00:33:36.10\00:33:38.60 The Bible says, believing is seeing. 00:33:38.61\00:33:41.94 Now there's most people says well, 00:33:41.95\00:33:43.59 I won't believe until I see it. 00:33:43.60\00:33:45.09 Well, you never gonna see it. 00:33:45.10\00:33:47.81 People say seeing is believing, no believing is seeing. 00:33:47.82\00:33:53.80 "'Did I not tell you that if you believed, you will see.' 00:33:53.81\00:33:57.36 So they took away the stone. 00:33:57.37\00:33:58.76 Then Jesus looked up and said, 'Father, 00:33:58.77\00:34:00.72 I thank you that you have heard me. 00:34:00.73\00:34:02.86 I knew that you always hear me, 00:34:02.87\00:34:05.64 but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, 00:34:05.65\00:34:09.12 that they may believe that you sent me.' 00:34:09.13\00:34:11.65 When he had said this, Jesus called out in a loud voice, 00:34:11.66\00:34:15.64 'Lazarus, come out!' The dead man came out, 00:34:15.65\00:34:19.76 his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, 00:34:19.77\00:34:23.12 and a cloth around his face. 00:34:23.13\00:34:25.03 Jesus said to them, 'Take off 00:34:25.04\00:34:26.81 the grave clothes and let him go.'" 00:34:26.82\00:34:29.63 I don't know anybody has ever done that. 00:34:33.93\00:34:37.55 Here in the United States we hear faith healers 00:34:37.56\00:34:40.86 who are interested in your money doing great miracles, 00:34:40.87\00:34:46.20 but we have no reliable evidence 00:34:46.21\00:34:47.90 of resurrection taking place today. 00:34:47.91\00:34:49.86 People say no, no they do take place. Where? 00:34:49.87\00:34:52.57 Well on places where nobody goes. 00:34:52.58\00:34:54.10 So you can't check outline. 00:34:54.11\00:34:57.08 And it would never gets on television 00:34:57.09\00:34:58.96 and where there's no decent doctor who's gonna check 00:34:58.97\00:35:01.48 that they are really dead in the first place. 00:35:01.49\00:35:05.82 There's only one person does the resurrections. 00:35:05.83\00:35:08.76 Scientists are working on getting creating 00:35:08.77\00:35:11.07 life in a laboratory, but my friend 00:35:11.08\00:35:14.92 all they're doing is taking the stuff 00:35:14.93\00:35:16.67 that God has given them 00:35:16.68\00:35:18.00 and trying to put it together again. 00:35:18.01\00:35:20.09 That's what they are doing, Imagine the raising of Lazarus, 00:35:20.10\00:35:23.32 a man who's been dead for four days, 00:35:23.33\00:35:26.41 he walks out of the tomb and he's alive. 00:35:26.42\00:35:29.84 You believe this? 00:35:29.85\00:35:32.08 Lot of you don't even believe this, do you? 00:35:32.09\00:35:35.60 A lot of you folks watching, you don't believe this. 00:35:35.61\00:35:37.74 You heard a sermon but you don't believe it. 00:35:37.75\00:35:39.76 If you believed it, you would be a different person, 00:35:39.77\00:35:42.72 you would have faith. 00:35:42.73\00:35:47.13 And the person raised, Lazarus is coming back. 00:35:47.14\00:35:52.92 One day He himself came back from the dead 00:35:52.93\00:35:56.14 and He promises to resurrect all those who have faith in Him. 00:35:56.15\00:36:00.97 And come over here to John Chapter 6, 00:36:00.98\00:36:02.54 "Then why are you so many of you scared of die?" 00:36:02.55\00:36:06.49 John Chapter 6:39, I had a friend 00:36:06.50\00:36:09.52 who's always talking religion to me, always talking faith. 00:36:09.53\00:36:13.09 Always talking, talking, talking, talking, 00:36:13.10\00:36:15.86 but he was scared to get on a plane. 00:36:15.87\00:36:19.89 Terrified to flying, I said why don't you fly. 00:36:19.90\00:36:23.55 Well he said, my wife and I was scared. 00:36:23.56\00:36:26.52 I said I thought you were a super Christian. 00:36:26.53\00:36:29.70 I thought you had super-- no he said, I am scared. 00:36:29.71\00:36:32.98 You know why? He was scared of dying, 00:36:32.99\00:36:37.46 because he didn't have faith at all 00:36:37.47\00:36:40.19 Didn't have faith in Jesus. 00:36:40.20\00:36:41.97 John Chapter 6:39. "And this is the will of him 00:36:41.98\00:36:47.27 who sent me, that I shall lose 00:36:47.28\00:36:49.07 none of all that he has given me, 00:36:49.08\00:36:51.47 but raise them up at the last day. 00:36:51.48\00:36:53.60 For my Father's will is that everyone 00:36:53.61\00:36:55.86 who looks to the Son and believes in him 00:36:55.87\00:36:58.44 shall have eternal life, 00:36:58.45\00:36:59.77 and I will raise him up at the last day." 00:36:59.78\00:37:02.63 But you better have the Son 00:37:02.64\00:37:04.73 or else you come out in the wrong resurrection. 00:37:04.74\00:37:07.63 Look at John Chapter 5:24-25. 00:37:07.64\00:37:10.93 I am told in America, when I look at television 00:37:10.94\00:37:13.90 and I look at preachers 00:37:13.91\00:37:15.62 and all of these religious stuff, 00:37:15.63\00:37:17.83 I am assured that everybody is going to go to heaven. 00:37:17.84\00:37:23.14 That's what all the preachers speak, 00:37:23.15\00:37:24.63 that's what the politicians speak. 00:37:24.64\00:37:27.26 That's what the president say, and for everybody say it, 00:37:27.27\00:37:30.36 there's only one problem with it. It's not true. 00:37:30.37\00:37:35.43 Jesus said, few there be, that find it. 00:37:35.44\00:37:39.66 That's what Jesus said. 00:37:39.67\00:37:42.46 And therefore you got to have faith, 00:37:42.47\00:37:45.48 and you got to have a relationship 00:37:45.49\00:37:47.73 with the incomparable person. 00:37:47.74\00:37:50.66 The person who was beyond compare, 00:37:50.67\00:37:54.03 matchless, second to none. 00:37:54.04\00:37:55.87 And you got to know Him as your Lord and your Savoir. 00:37:55.88\00:38:00.19 Look at John Chapter 5:24 and 25, 00:38:04.77\00:38:09.56 John Chapter 5:24, 25, "I tell you the truth, 00:38:09.57\00:38:13.89 whoever hears my word and believes him 00:38:13.90\00:38:16.17 who sent me has eternal life." 00:38:16.18\00:38:18.62 You got to believe in the Father too. 00:38:18.63\00:38:20.53 "And will not be condemned, 00:38:20.54\00:38:21.73 he has crossed over from death to life. 00:38:21.74\00:38:23.73 I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come 00:38:23.74\00:38:27.29 when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God 00:38:27.30\00:38:29.67 and those who hear will live." Astounding. 00:38:29.68\00:38:36.87 He is the incomparable life giver, 00:38:36.88\00:38:42.09 the life giver without comparison. 00:38:42.10\00:38:46.54 Now the fifth story, Jesus and a friend who messed up. 00:38:46.55\00:38:53.83 Most of us are very fickle. 00:38:56.94\00:39:02.38 Jesus was not fickle, He was faithful, 00:39:02.39\00:39:08.52 no one like Him. 00:39:08.53\00:39:09.93 Look at Luke Chapter 22:31 and onwards. 00:39:09.94\00:39:12.46 You know, whom I am speaking of, that's Peter, 00:39:12.47\00:39:16.19 the big fisherman, Luke 22:31. 00:39:16.20\00:39:23.91 "Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. 00:39:23.92\00:39:27.74 But I have prayed for you, Simon, 00:39:27.75\00:39:30.35 that your faith may not fail. 00:39:30.36\00:39:32.03 But when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers." 00:39:32.04\00:39:35.74 See he replied, "Lord, I am ready 00:39:35.75\00:39:38.28 to go with you to prison and to death." 00:39:38.29\00:39:41.12 Jesus answered, 'I tell you, Peter, 00:39:41.13\00:39:44.28 before the rooster crows today, 00:39:44.29\00:39:46.35 you will deny three times that you know me.''' 00:39:46.36\00:39:51.42 That He said to Peter. 00:39:51.43\00:39:53.35 Peter was full of self confidence 00:39:53.36\00:39:56.73 and who is this Peter? Oh Peter, fortunately, 00:39:56.74\00:40:04.50 was not a clergyman, Peter was a fisherman. 00:40:04.51\00:40:11.59 And if you are in the company of Peter, 00:40:11.60\00:40:15.43 you are in the company of fish 00:40:15.44\00:40:19.26 and water and nets. 00:40:19.27\00:40:26.98 And Peter was a good person. 00:40:26.99\00:40:33.59 We would have liked Peter. 00:40:33.60\00:40:37.23 And if you come over to Mark Chapter 11:27 and onwards, 00:40:37.24\00:40:43.16 Mark 14:27 and onwards, 00:40:43.17\00:40:48.19 Jesus said "'You will all fall away,' 00:40:48.20\00:40:51.31 Jesus told them, 'for it is written, 00:40:51.32\00:40:52.82 I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered. 00:40:52.83\00:40:56.29 But after I have risen, 00:40:56.30\00:40:57.72 I will go ahead of you into Galilee.' 00:40:57.73\00:41:00.51 Peter declared, 'Even if all fall away, 00:41:00.52\00:41:04.11 I will not' 'I tell you the truth,' Jesus answered, 00:41:04.12\00:41:09.10 'today-yes, tonight-before the rooster crows twice 00:41:09.11\00:41:13.44 you yourself will disown me three times. 00:41:13.45\00:41:17.91 'But Peter insisted emphatically, 00:41:17.92\00:41:20.30 'Even if I have to die with you, 00:41:20.31\00:41:22.67 I will never disown you.' 00:41:22.68\00:41:26.00 And all the others said the same." 00:41:26.01\00:41:30.59 And you know the story, don't you. 00:41:30.60\00:41:34.04 When Jesus needed a friend, 00:41:34.05\00:41:36.80 when Jesus needed a rock to lean on, 00:41:36.81\00:41:41.27 a few girls said to Peter, "You all with him" 00:41:41.28\00:41:45.94 and the Bible said Peter began to curse and swear 00:41:45.95\00:41:51.42 and he said, "I know not the Man." 00:41:51.43\00:41:55.57 And somebody said, when Peter said, 00:41:55.58\00:41:59.34 "I know not the Man, 00:41:59.35\00:42:03.02 it was the lie that told the truth." 00:42:03.03\00:42:07.35 He told a lie, but he told the truth 00:42:07.36\00:42:10.34 because he didn't know the man. 00:42:10.35\00:42:14.75 He knew about the Man, he knew His miracles, 00:42:14.76\00:42:19.64 he loved Him, but he never knew the Man. 00:42:19.65\00:42:25.39 Therefore he denied the Lord with cursing and swearing 00:42:25.40\00:42:30.73 when Jesus was desperate for a friend, 00:42:30.74\00:42:34.75 Peter should have been there, 00:42:34.76\00:42:36.94 but Peter let him down, pretty sad. 00:42:36.95\00:42:41.22 What about you? 00:42:41.23\00:42:43.34 Look at Mark Chapter 16:7. 00:42:43.35\00:42:45.52 We thank God for friends who stay by in good times 00:42:45.53\00:42:50.61 and in bad times who are faithful. 00:42:50.62\00:42:55.72 Look at Mark Chapter 16:7. 00:42:55.73\00:43:01.17 Now Jesus send a message after the resurrection, 00:43:01.18\00:43:03.65 because Peter was pretty discouraged. 00:43:03.66\00:43:06.61 He was a broken man, he denied the Lord, runaway, 00:43:06.62\00:43:12.66 "But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 00:43:12.67\00:43:19.65 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. 00:43:19.66\00:43:21.83 There you will see him, just as he told you and Peter.'" 00:43:21.84\00:43:28.17 That should encourage every person in this church, 00:43:28.18\00:43:32.52 because we've all messed up. 00:43:32.53\00:43:35.36 We've all done dumb things. 00:43:35.37\00:43:37.64 We've all done bad things. 00:43:37.65\00:43:40.32 We've all denied the Lord with cursing and swearing. 00:43:43.42\00:43:47.61 How many of us are known 00:43:47.62\00:43:51.13 in our workplace as followers of Christ. 00:43:51.14\00:43:55.81 Or are we like the church member who said, 00:43:55.82\00:43:58.37 I keep my faith to myself and nobody in the office 00:43:58.38\00:44:02.06 would guess that I'm a Christian, because he's not. 00:44:02.07\00:44:07.90 No such thing as a secret Christian. 00:44:07.91\00:44:12.61 But the message to every person is, 00:44:12.62\00:44:15.93 go tell my disciples, and Peter, and Mary, 00:44:15.94\00:44:20.90 and Suzie, and Harvey, 00:44:20.91\00:44:23.66 and David and Ron, I will see them. 00:44:23.67\00:44:31.39 At a great religious convention here 00:44:31.40\00:44:34.02 in the United States of America was a church leader 00:44:34.03\00:44:38.52 whom I was proud to call friend. 00:44:38.53\00:44:43.36 A good man, and wherever 00:44:43.37\00:44:46.20 he went at this great convention 00:44:46.21\00:44:50.12 the people swarmed around him like a hive of bees, 00:44:50.13\00:44:56.74 can you imagine it? Wherever he walked, 00:44:56.75\00:45:00.62 a great crowed went with him. 00:45:00.63\00:45:04.01 Can we just talk to him, he's our great leader. 00:45:04.02\00:45:11.06 But he lost his job, 00:45:11.07\00:45:12.56 possibly he didn't deserve to lose it, 00:45:17.88\00:45:20.30 because he was such a good man trying to do the best. 00:45:20.31\00:45:25.16 There are no perfect people. 00:45:25.17\00:45:29.53 But the next year he went to the great conference, 00:45:29.54\00:45:33.76 he walked alone. 00:45:33.77\00:45:36.76 How fickle. 00:45:41.08\00:45:42.73 Where was the Christianity? 00:45:46.69\00:45:49.28 Jesus is a lot better than his professing followers. 00:45:54.91\00:46:02.79 He never gives up. 00:46:02.80\00:46:06.37 Jesus is a friend 00:46:06.38\00:46:09.01 without compare, incomparable. 00:46:09.02\00:46:14.74 The sixth story is Jesus and the Jewish leaders. 00:46:14.75\00:46:18.96 Jesus the Jew, and the leaders of the Jewish nation. 00:46:18.97\00:46:24.28 Would you come over here to John Chapter 8. 00:46:24.29\00:46:26.85 A Christian should never ever be antisemitic, 00:46:26.86\00:46:30.42 because our Lord is a Jew. 00:46:30.43\00:46:33.60 He is still a Jew today, in glory. 00:46:33.61\00:46:38.31 Blake, there is a Jew today at the right hand of God, 00:46:38.32\00:46:43.21 there's a Jew there, his name is Jesus. 00:46:43.22\00:46:46.83 I've had people write to me and said, 00:46:46.84\00:46:48.35 Jesus wasn't a Jew, goodness. 00:46:48.36\00:46:51.65 I mean talk about dumbness. 00:46:51.66\00:46:53.68 John Chapter 8, I am telling you John Chapter 8, 00:46:53.69\00:46:57.51 "The Jews answered him, "Aren't we right in saying 00:46:57.52\00:46:59.44 that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?" 00:46:59.45\00:47:01.82 so they were really attacking Him. 00:47:01.83\00:47:03.79 Verse 52, "At this the Jew exclaimed, 00:47:03.80\00:47:06.64 'Now we know that you are demon-possessed! 00:47:06.65\00:47:09.14 Abraham died and so did the prophets" 00:47:09.15\00:47:12.27 Verse 54, "Jesus replied, 00:47:12.28\00:47:15.09 'If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. 00:47:15.10\00:47:17.62 My Father, whom you claim as your God, 00:47:17.63\00:47:19.46 is the one who glorifies me. 00:47:19.47\00:47:20.97 Though you do not know him, I know him. 00:47:20.98\00:47:22.97 If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, 00:47:22.98\00:47:28.97 but I do know him and obey his word. 00:47:28.98\00:47:31.19 Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day, 00:47:31.20\00:47:34.68 he saw it and was glad.' 00:47:34.69\00:47:37.59 'You're not yet fifty years old,' 00:47:37.60\00:47:39.38 the Jewish said to him, 'and you have seen Abraham!' 00:47:39.39\00:47:42.95 I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, 00:47:42.96\00:47:45.66 'before Abraham was born, 00:47:45.67\00:47:49.15 I am!' 00:47:49.16\00:47:53.76 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, 00:47:53.77\00:47:56.49 but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds." 00:47:56.50\00:48:01.16 He was the only person he said the expression 00:48:01.17\00:48:05.07 which is tantamount to saying I am Yahweh Elohim, 00:48:05.08\00:48:09.50 I am Jehovah, I am El Shaddai. 00:48:09.51\00:48:12.67 Expression, I am is expression 00:48:12.68\00:48:16.19 that can only be used by all mighty God. 00:48:16.20\00:48:19.16 If I were to say that today, 00:48:19.17\00:48:22.43 I would deserve to be struck by bolt of lightning. 00:48:22.44\00:48:25.26 He's the only person who ever lived to claim to be God 00:48:28.72\00:48:32.56 and was considered insane and in total control of Himself, 00:48:32.57\00:48:36.85 ask God to expand your mind. 00:48:36.86\00:48:39.48 He claim to be the prime mover, 00:48:39.49\00:48:41.41 the one who made the universe. 00:48:41.42\00:48:43.29 If scientists were right when they say the universe 00:48:43.30\00:48:45.57 is 13.72 billion years old, then Jesus was saying, 00:48:45.58\00:48:50.48 He existed in a place outside our universe, 00:48:50.49\00:48:54.10 more than 13 billion years ago and beyond. 00:48:54.11\00:48:57.84 He existed before time and space. 00:48:57.85\00:49:01.63 He made time and space. 00:49:01.64\00:49:05.25 This places Him in a completely 00:49:05.26\00:49:07.58 different category to you and to me, 00:49:07.59\00:49:10.51 because He has limitless power, limitless knowledge, 00:49:10.52\00:49:15.85 limitless wisdom, limitless presence, 00:49:15.86\00:49:19.96 limitless authority, limitless love, limitless grace, 00:49:19.97\00:49:26.26 thus he is indeed the incomparable God. 00:49:26.27\00:49:33.48 All other Gods are puny, 00:49:33.49\00:49:36.63 silly and non consensual. 00:49:36.64\00:49:41.96 Listen to these words, 00:49:41.97\00:49:43.63 Christianity is not a set of rule, so we have rules. 00:49:43.64\00:49:47.65 I could easily have been a Methodist 00:49:47.66\00:49:49.88 if I lived in the days of John Wesley 00:49:49.89\00:49:52.24 because I like methods. 00:49:52.25\00:49:56.22 I like being organized. 00:49:56.23\00:49:58.17 I am not very tolerant with people who are disorganized. 00:49:58.18\00:50:06.12 Christianity is not a set of rule, 00:50:06.13\00:50:08.87 it is not about being a vegan. 00:50:08.88\00:50:11.93 Or what you wear or more importantly what you don't wear, 00:50:15.62\00:50:19.91 or how much money you have. 00:50:19.92\00:50:21.34 Some of those things may be of inconsequence. 00:50:21.35\00:50:25.74 But that is not Christianity. 00:50:25.75\00:50:28.48 They may flow from certain aspects of Christianity, 00:50:28.49\00:50:31.60 but Christianity is all about Jesus, the light of the world. 00:50:31.61\00:50:38.44 If you don't belong to a church with Christ is the Lord 00:50:38.45\00:50:42.51 and where His word is preached, find another church. 00:50:42.52\00:50:48.56 And He would very much like to be your emancipator, 00:50:53.75\00:50:59.81 your teacher, your redeemer, 00:50:59.82\00:51:03.74 your life giver, your friend, your God. 00:51:03.75\00:51:10.07 He's a total gentleman, doesn't push His way 00:51:10.08\00:51:13.12 in where He is not wanted, in Revelation it says, 00:51:13.13\00:51:17.25 Revelation 3, "I stand at the door, 00:51:17.26\00:51:21.61 and knock, if any anyone will open the door," 00:51:21.62\00:51:27.56 what a paradox, the all mighty God 00:51:27.57\00:51:31.03 and He can't open the door himself." 00:51:31.04\00:51:35.80 He's a total gentleman. 00:51:35.81\00:51:38.26 He knocks, but its up to each one of us to open the door 00:51:38.27\00:51:42.12 to the one who is matchless without peer, second to none. 00:51:42.13\00:51:48.03 That's the thing, doesn't push His way anywhere. 00:51:55.74\00:52:00.13 You can sit here in church, you can be a nominal Christian, 00:52:00.14\00:52:03.60 you
