share a few thoughts

7 and 16, they say,

"If you remain in me
and my words remain in you,

ask whatever you wish,
and it will be given to you.

Verse 16 "You did not choose me,

but I chose you
to go and bear fruit.

Fruit that will lust
then the Father will give you

whatever you ask in My name."

Now preachers tell us

that a text without
the context is a pretext.

So we have to
read the whole chapter

become even more fruitful

that often they have to cut

So that it will bear

Now this pruning
process is often painful,

and it tells us that
life is not without trials

the answer of these promises.

are not for our physical lives,
but rather our spiritual lives.

The Father's pruning
is for the sake of growth

Christian life is not stagnant,

but it's vibrant with activity.

And that's what God
wants to see in our lives.

in me and I remain in you."

How does this
work to remain in Him.

constantly walk with Him

through obedience to His word.

Keeping in step with
Him brings me great joy.

Now does our Christian
experience give us a headache

And that's a good test,

if it's not bringing us

Sometimes God's gonna give us
a shove before we do His will.
