And number one,
when Christ comes,

there's going to be really
a heavy spiritual darkness,

this earth's history,

in darkest hours of our history,

Jesus will come.

As fact His first appearing

the earth was dark, wasn't it?

And Jesus came in
the darkest hours,

He's going to come
again. Praise God for that.

And I like the part was,

"I will come again, "

that gives me encouragement.

Two, we talked about

all around us there's suffering,

there's pain, there's heartache,

there's loss of
life and property.

There's joblessness,
00:07:55.57\00:07:57.31
I mean, people have lost
their jobs by the millions.

There's a bad economy.
00:08:00.44\00:08:01.78
We're challenged with COVID-19.

And we're
challenged with climate change
00:08:04.25\00:08:07.12
and the threat
of that going green,

riots and protests galore.
00:08:09.55\00:08:12.99
That seems to be
the order of the day,

just to name a few
things that's going on,
00:08:15.02\00:08:17.69
maybe more things
going on and more severe
00:08:17.73\00:08:20.00
than ever been in my lifetime.

And it just simply
tells me that Jesus is coming.

Number three, we
talked about those things.

We talked about that because
of the condition of the world.

It's led to a widespread
I wanna call it a distrust,

a depression, discontent,
00:08:34.54\00:08:37.55
indifference,
greed, selfishness.
00:08:37.58\00:08:42.15
You know, with the dark shadow
00:08:42.18\00:08:43.65
I believe of
Satan there's been cast
00:08:43.69\00:08:45.75
all over the world right now.
00:08:45.79\00:08:47.49
Because he's putting up,
00:08:47.52\00:08:48.86
I think, one of
his last little fights
00:08:48.89\00:08:50.76
before Jesus comes.
00:08:50.79\00:08:52.93
We have error, we have apostasy,

not only in the world,
but we have it in the church.

And God would
have His men and women

those who stand for
truth and love truth,

to proclaim our truthful message

that God gave us
in the very beginning.

Stay with it,

because it is good,
it has a good foundation,

Four, we talked
about the humanity

is totally out of control.

We won't go into
all those things,

but humanity as a
whole, we are out of control.

Things are happening that
you say surely is not possible,

but they are.

Darkness is covering the earth.

And we figured out

in the last few moments

of the last
time we met together,

darkness covering the earth
is a misapprehension of what?

The character of God.

All of our message

that we should be
giving to the world today.

You know, and I believe this,

this world,

and the church is doomed
if we don't change our ways.

Think there have
to be some changes.

If we do not put on
the whole armor of God,

the enemy is going to attack you

where you leave off
that list piece of armor,

as you well know.

And he's good at what he does.

We're not trying to
brag on him, but he is.

He knows if you
leave one piece off,

he's going to throw,

we say the dart,

and he's a good dart thrower.

He knows exactly

So we have to put on
the whole armor of God,

we need to do that and
take the sword of what?

The sword of the
spirit that we need,

And stand on the
Word of God today,

because I'm
telling you very few,

it seems today want
to stand on the complete,

clear Word of God.

They wanna manipulate,
they wanna change it,

they want to say
things have changed,

God has changed.

And none of those are
true. God does not change.

You know, I mean, how can God...

how can God deliver any people

listen to His message?

respond to the message

signs of the times.

small Signs of the Times.

They're everywhere.

They tell us
that Jesus is coming.

It's true.

But sometimes
we're not listening

to those things anymore.

You know, every
day we hear them,

but what are we
doing about them?

I think about the
signs that were given.

when Moses went on Mount Sinai,

you remember and
there was thundering

and what?

And there was
lightning and fire.

And you know what?

Many of the people
00:11:21.64\00:11:22.98
they were kind of
awed at the moment,

but weren't very
long they forgot about it,

they, you know.

But what more could God do

to get the
attention of the people

for what He was
about to give them

was the Holy
Ten Commandment law.

What more could He really
do to get their attention?

Many at that time
were like we are today.

And it's not saying anybody here

my mother always said,

"If the shoe fits, wear it."

There's many spiritually
death and many spiritually dumb,

and many spiritually blind,

Because they just
refuse those clear things

that God put out there for us,

to remind us of His coming.

You know, it could be,

you think about
the time of the flood.

What more could God do to
get the people in the boat?

What more could He do?

Well, certainly right,

he raised up voices
for 120 years, right?

And certainly inspired
them of how to build this boat,

and how to, you know,

put provisions in
it that would maintain

and would hold up

under what was
soon to take place.

God could not do any more.

He couldn't do any
more at the Mount Sinai,

He couldn't do any more
at the time of the flood

to get people to go in

other than they went
in by their own choice.

There was nothing
else that God could do.

God is guiding

protecting His people.

I believe that
with all of my heart

with what's going on today,

we need that encouragement.

darkness, there's coming light.

We're seeing it now,

what's taking place,

if our eyes would just be open.

That reminds me and you know
the story very well of Elisha.

That's in the 2 King
6:17, just a verse there.

It was really a time

that will encourage us
right now where we are at.

It's a time that
was really encouraging

in Elisha's time.
00:13:09.22\00:13:10.55
And it reads like
this in 2 King 6:17.

And I like the
way it starts out.

Do you know how it starts out?

"And Elisha prayed."

And Elisha prayed?

I don't think
it says that twice.

But I'll say it again

Elisha prayed again.

Elisha prayed
what the Bible said.

That's what God's
people ought to do.

just like the world
is surrounding you today.

they're all against you.

Things are going on

can't figure it all out.

But the first thing you
read that verse and said,

ooh, Elisha prayed.

And he said,

"Lord, I pray thee."

Notice this, open his eyes.

What do you mean open his eyes?

And the Lord opened
the young man's eyes.

There was a young man

that was with Elisha, wasn't it?

And notice Elisha begin to pray.

Now let's, not
say if I'd been there,

and I seen all
this army around me
00:14:18.32\00:14:19.65
and I was
getting ready to perish.

I'm gonna say,

"Lord, save me."

Now some of you. All right.

Elisha in the
midst of this mess,

he said,

"Lord open this
young man's eyes."

He knew by faith that
the angels were there.

He knew that God was somehow
going to take care of him.

But he was
concerned about the young man.

Maybe a lack of experience.

Maybe just young didn't have it.

Elisha was going
to help and he prayed,

"God open this
young man's eyes."

And these eyes were

as it were
spiritual eyes were open.

And what did this guy see?

Whoo, I'd like
to see that today,

wouldn't you?

I want to see this today.

And I think by faith, we can.

I sense many times
the angels of heaven

that are around God's people.

You sense it when you
have a prayer circle sometime,

to say more of a square.

When we get together to pray,

power of the Holy Spirit.

You know, that God is there,

And we need that time.

But notice, he prayed

when things get tough, we pray.

notice what he saw.

The young man's eyes
were opened and he beheld,

Well, that may not
be exciting to you,

but that's exciting to me.

"The mountain
was full of," what?

"Of horses,"

and notice,
