often heard the phrase,

we have nothing
to fear the future

unless we forget how
God has led us in the past.

And I'm afraid that as a country

and as a people,
00:01:01.32\00:01:02.66
we have sadly forgot
00:01:02.69\00:01:04.53
where God's leading in the past,
00:01:04.56\00:01:06.96
and our future
certainly looks fearful

for many as a result.

Since the first war
broke out in heaven,

there has been a
division over God's law.

Lucifer came to the
point in the gates of glory

that he promoted

that God's law was
no longer necessary

for the angels of
heaven to be good.

And several
thousand years later,

that same old lie
is being propagated

throughout
Christendom and the world.

Many Christians proclaim

that God's law was
nailed to the cross

and is no longer binding.

We are certainly hearing
thousands around the world

shouting defund the police.

We no longer
need police officers

for law and order.

We can all be
civil on our own accord.

Well, as far as stability,
I wish that were true.

Our all knowing
heavenly Father knows

that as free moral agents,

we are growing and
learning moment by moment,

day by day,

and that we must have a
standard of righteousness,

a moral absolute
in order to learn

and pattern our
lives after righteousness.

Without such a pattern,

as we're seeing
in the world today

anarchy occurs on every level.

We are now seeing spiritually

as never before in our lifetime,

a great divide
between lawlessness

and right doing,

a great divide between
those who are righteous

and those who are wicked.

And we are
certainly witnessing God

as He is giving us exactly

what we as a whole
nation are asking for.

As we continue to
choose lawlessness and sin,

we are pushing God
further and further away,

and thus His
protection is also being pushed

making ample room
for the enemy to come in

and to sow those
seeds of riotousness,

destruction, anarchy,
and natural disasters.

these things develop

has revealed to us,

We need to pay special attention

means we need to know it.

"That the law is not
made for the righteous,"

notice that,
"but for the lawless

and disobedient,

for the
ungodly, for the sinners,

for unholy and profane,
00:08:48.12\00:08:50.33
for murderers of fathers
and murderers of mothers,
00:08:50.36\00:08:53.26
for manslayers."

Verse 10, "For whoremongers,
00:08:54.66\00:08:57.03
for them that defile
themselves with mankind,

for menstealers,"
these are big words, notice,

"for liars, for
perjured persons,

and if there be any other thing

that is contrary
to sound doctrine."

These verses are loaded.

I mean, they are powerful
and they point to us today.

I want to talk about
something we say lawlessness.

I just want to bring
this to your attention.

I find something very
interesting in Scripture

when you read in
2 Thessalonians 2:3,
00:09:22.82\00:09:25.39
we read it all the time,

but I believe we need
to reread these verses.

But I'll just try to bring out

a couple of
highlights right here

because it talks
about the man of what?

Man of sin.

When you read that,

you can honestly
but think about it

all the, this is,
00:09:38.91\00:09:40.24
the evil man is
behind all of these things

that are taking
place in the world today.

Think about that.

Going on, the man of sin,

you can actually
read that in Scripture,

literally says,
the man of lawlessness.

The man of lawlessness,

and then it goes on and it says,

and that wicked man.

Notice, it's
referring to an individual here,

that wicked man,

wicked here simply
means once again literally,

the lawless one.

So we're
dealing in society today

against those who
want to honor the law,

the laws of the
land and the laws of God.

And you're dealing,

we're dealing with
those who want no law.

They don't want any
rules, no regulation,

they want to do
what they want to do,

when they want to do it.

Is that really
acceptable in the sight of God?

And is it causing problems?

I just want to mention it.

We've had,
really in the last week

or so we've had two
major defeats for us

as God's last day people.

I'm going to read
one of them to you.

the Supreme Court,

the Supreme Court holds it.

Now we don't want
anyone right here to be,

you know, well, you
know, be discriminated against,

but at the same token is,

notice that
Supreme Court is making

a ruling here on this,

that they're going to
protect those in the workplace.

Now, this simply means
whether you didn't know

when you hired them.

But later on it came out

that they maybe
were a transgender,

maybe didn't fit

into maybe what you
were doing in your business,

but you are not
allowed to fire them.

You have to keep them
there in the workplace.

This is quite a
victory for the LGBT community.

We know that the movement.

The Supreme Court, and
they voted six to three.

So it's pretty

The case covered 168 pages.

So was one that's ongoing fight,

but we have to
remember what God says

about certain
things in Scripture?

Not how will you
might feel about it

or I might feel about it.

But there are certain
things that God says is okay

and the certain
things He says are not okay.

And we have to use the
Word of God, if we do not,

we become
confused in this nation

because we're not
using God as the rule.

We're deciding us,
well, this is a human being,

this is all right here.

Well, this must be all right.

Well, God understands.

understands all but He says,

that had to be dealt with.

there's a couple of things here,

with this kind of issue here

they want to discuss

with the transgenders

discuss bathroom privileges.

Well, think about it.

now don't think in the humanist

are certain things

to try to figure out

They want to talk
about locker rooms

and the talk about
sports and same sex marriage

and bottom line

as I mentioned
while ago the employer.

You can't fire a person

for being a certain way or turn,

whether they help your business

and you hired him
for something else

don't fit, you can't,

because they say, "If
you do, you defy the law."

hearing an awful lot about,

no one's above the law.

How many's heard
about that? Right?

No one's above the law.

No one's above the
law and it seemed like

there's quite a
few evidently that are.

They're doing
what they want to do,

how they want to do it,

and you don't see
any law being enforced.

Hmm.

One man said, "Oh man,

this is a new error
in transgender rights."

It has arrived.

be aware of another.

I call it the leap
of the Supreme Court

just a few days ago
in May of 2020 says this,

it's five-four ruling.

This chipped away at
our freedom of religion.

We should be
aware of these things.

They're saying

that the government may restrict

religious practice.

Restrict religious practices.

This was a ruling

they were having a
court case in California,

where they were bickering

over how many can
attend church services.

And so that was in,
they were saying about there,

25% of that congregation percent

could be there at one time

and the maximum no
matter how many hundreds,

you know, a maximum
of 100 in the church.

Interesting how the
government stepping in

and saying, notice it,

this will come back
to haunt God's people.

Don't just write it off

like, well, it
doesn't really matter.

The government says here,

they can restrict
religious practices,

prove the point in Chicago,

they had another
little case there

and attendance,

they said, "Look in
Chicago and Illinois,

you can only have 10."

Still yet, this was
just a few days ago,

you still just have 10.

And they said, "We're doing this

because we want to make sure

that we're not
spreading the COVID-19."

It's very interesting.

But notice this, retail,

we're talking about business
and religious houses of worship

have what they
call a percent cap,
