Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams

Then the king
commanded to call the magicians,

for to show the king his dreams.

But, friends,

all of us know
that the magicians,

the astrologers, the sorcerers,

and the Chaldeans

could not tell
the king his dream,

and because of all of this,

the wise men of
Babylon were to all be killed.

This execution
included God's children,

Daniel and his three companions
Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah.

And although the
circumstances looked very bleak

at this point
for God's messengers,

I'm sure we will find out

He was about to show
Himself in a marvelous fashion

Daniel was taken
captive into Babylon

when he was about 18 years old.

So he's quite a young man,

probably
something he didn't think

would happen in his life.

He was a man that was right,

you know given to
the cause of Christ

and all of a sudden

he finds himself into captivity.

But look what God can do

maybe and when
we are in captivity.

Two, he had a series of visions

that were given to him,

that certainly
pertained to his day

but maybe even
more so to our day

that we need to
pay attention to.

Three, through all of this,

he was made

the third
highest ruler in Babylon.

Think about
this, you're coming in

he came in as a
captive, as a slave.

And it wasn't very long

where God pushed him
right up into the third, right?

Power right behind the
king and the queen as it were,

there was Daniel.

Four,

he acknowledged God

before kings and
before statesmen.

Wherever Daniel went, he
lifted up the name of God.

just lifting up Daniel,

that you and I should be doing

as little Daniel's
dare to be a Daniel.

Five, he was
allowed, notice this,

he allowed no earthly power

to come between him and God.

In our life we allow no
power, no person, no place

anything to come
between us and God.

men and women in the world today

that God did set up kingdoms

our faith to grow

as how He sets up these nations,
