prove, first of all,

how we're born in this world

nature that we have

woman in Jesus Christ.

the Bible tells
us there, it says,

born," born, what?

To me, that just lays it
out pretty quickly for us

that unless a
person is born again,

and we're not
gonna play the game of,

"Well, I don't
know we can be born..."

We're talking spiritually,
for sure, aren't we?

We need to be born again
in the blood of Jesus Christ,

about being born again,

about the new birth.

Over 1,000 people

that were asked
this question about,

"Have you been born again?"

What would you say?

Somebody came
up to you and said,

"Have you been born again?"

What would your answer be?

Well, 42% said, "Oh,
yeah, we're born again.

Yeah, we've been born again."

And the percentage between
men and women being born again,

we're about the same.

In the south...

Here in North America,
talking about the south,

said, "Well, you know,

they're carrying about a 58%,"

mainly because a
lot of the evangelicals

and so on, they
say, when you ask them,

"Have you've been born again?"

"Oh, yeah," they're
gonna say, yes, they are.

Praise God.

But on the east coast,
it goes way down to 26%,

on the west
coast, it goes to 27%.

And then, of
course, the mid say...

We call it the mid
west here around 40%.

think about it here in America.

are those who have, what?

Those who say we're born again,
they haven't been to college.

That don't mean
things wrong with college,

it just means food for thought.

As the income goes up,

we find out to be born again.

Oh my, born again goes down.

if you make $30,000 a year,

it's about 47%
of those will say,

"Oh, yeah, I've had a change,

I'm born again."

If you make $75,000

or more a year,
that goes down to 33%.

So I think today we're going
to be focused on repentance,

we're gonna be
focusing on spiritual rebirth.

this about the belief.

A lot of people will
ask a question, you know,

"Do you really believe the Bible

is really the Word of God?

Do you really believe the Bible
is actually the Word of God?"

And how sad to say that only
all of those that were polled,

they really believe

that God's Word
is really from Him

and it's really truth.

And then when you begin to
question these individuals,

doctrine or an issue,

you ask a certain
individual a question

to being born again,

that needs to change.

Notice that with things Jesus

when you try to live

the good life in Jesus Christ,

a lot of people
don't accept you.

You know, when
Jesus walked around

the community many times,

people shunned him.

People didn't
want to be around Him.

They didn't like
what He stood for

because it brought
condemnation to them.

Just being in His
presence was like, "Oh, no."

It reminded them
that they needed a change

from the old to the new.

Even his family
didn't understand Him.

And they
constantly tried to get Jesus

to do the wrong things.

That'd be quite a
bit of pressure, I think,

He hated only one
thing on this earth,

So we come to a
point in our life

somehow long after we're born,

have a change somewhere,

takes place in our life

if we want
heaven to be our home.

say why did people...

Why do people not
want to be around Jesus?

Number one,
because He condemned sin,

He condemned evil,

He was opposed inside His home,

He was opposed
outside of His home

and even in the church.

So that just gives us example

so that we can look at and say,

"Okay, this is
what happened to Jesus,

but He was living
the perfect life."

Jesus never consented, remember,

one wrong act, not one.

In fact, if He did,

He would have failed of
being our perfect example.

You know, and it would
fail in the plan of salvation,

But notice this, this
gets down to the nitty-gritty,

even if Jesus had admitted,

there was an excuse for sin.

the plan of salvation

Every temptation Christ had,

and save that which was lost.

we need to think
about this heavy-duty today

just like Adam
and Eve, we go back,

we think about Adam and Eve.

As long as Adam
and Eve were living...

God created them,
they were sinless.

And then, of course,
they went about their business

there for a while,

but all of a
sudden temptation came,

but as long as they lived
