come apart for worship

and to keep holy.

during the week of creation.

Let's read this

that they are Sabbath keepers.

Now keep this in
mind, you say, "Well,

I'm a Sabbath keeper." But,

you know, you can
profess to be a Sabbath keeper
00:09:01.03\00:09:03.15
and be breaking the
Sabbath every seventh day.
00:09:03.18\00:09:06.23
So we are gonna be
looking at this subject in a,

I think, maybe a
little different way.

And there will be a lot of,

you know, this is what we
do, this is what God has said

and this is what God
said we shouldn't do.

So I know that your
spirit's gonna be right.

over just a few things

in the Word of God

so that we get a
handle as we are going.

The Bible said, you know,
after six days of creation,

the Bible talks
about here in Genesis 1:31

after six days of
creation the Bible said,

"God saw that every
thing that he had made,

it was" good "very good."

What He had made was very good.

And so then we look
and we say in Genesis 2:2,

then the Bible simply says

and we are
condensing it down, Genesis 2:2

"On the seventh day

God ended His
work which He had made,

and He rested the seventh day."

Wow, what good direction we have

following His footprints.

Genesis 2:3 "God
blessed the seventh day,

he sanctified it,"

He set it apart for holy use.

Yes, a lot could
be said about it,

we'll say it as we
continue in our study.

But please keep this
in mind, number one is,

after six days
of creation, right,

God said everything
He created was all good.

So keep that in mind as
we continue to study here,

everything that
God had created, right,

He said it was good.

So we are gonna look at that,
keep that in mind as we go.

God gave this rest day,

the seventh-day
of the week to Adam,

so Adam may pass
it on to mankind.

Sabbath simply a memorial.

The Sabbath,
seventh day of the week,

is simply the
birthday of this world,

the work of creation.

Psalms 111:4 the Bible said

to be remembered."

to be remembered, not forgotten.

The Sabbath is to
be kept in our memory

and it's for all of us,

not just for a
little group over here.

Sabbath was
known to Israel what?

Before Mount Sinai,

we understand that by studying.

And so it's not
just for the Jews,

it's for the whole world.

Praise God for that.

We find also the
Sabbath is distinguished

and it continues
to be distinguished.

Distinguishes God's true people.

So God's true
people in the last days

will be observing
the seventh day Sabbath.

A lot of study,

those of you don't
know so get into the Word.

Remember the Jews made

the seventh day
Sabbath very difficult,

they made it a burden
for many, many people.

And so Jesus came,

notice Jesus
came to clear the way

of many of these misconceptions.

So we are gonna look
at some of those today.

We're gonna try
by the grace of God

to condense it down and say,

how do we really
keep the Sabbath?

We claim to be
seventh day Sabbath keepers.

Probably if we really look down

we would see that
the majority of those
00:11:55.16\00:11:57.13
who profess to keep the Sabbath
00:11:57.16\00:11:58.46
break the Sabbath.
00:11:58.49\00:12:00.11
And, you know, we are
viewed in the heaven as what?

Lawbreakers.
00:12:02.19\00:12:03.23
We should know how
because the Bible tells us how.
00:12:03.26\00:12:06.48
If we fall, you say, well,
00:12:06.51\00:12:07.59
it's just one point.
You know, James 2:10-12
00:12:07.62\00:12:11.06
the Bible says, "For
whoever shall keep" what?
00:12:11.09\00:12:13.56
"The whole law, and
yet offend in one point,
00:12:13.59\00:12:16.33
he is guilty of all."
00:12:16.36\00:12:18.21
Keep these in mind.

Study some more on
that if you will do that

because the Bible simply
said the end results there

that we are all gonna be judged
by the perfect law of liberty.

God's Ten
Commandment law, it's spiritual.

Ten Commandment law is holy.

Ten Commandment law
is just and it's good

and it's the
perfect law of liberty.

So it doesn't
put you in bondage.

You are not, you know,
don't look and say, "Oh, no."

No, a perfect law
of liberty and freedom.

But I think we
need to be sensitive,

I know as we
study this in regard

to what it means
by the grace of God

to keep His laws.

And I think we need
to be very sensitive

in regard to
whether we are keeping it

or whether we are breaking it.

What if we really
thought in all honesty

that we were keeping it

because we really
haven't got into the Word and

we should be, but
we are breaking it?

Wouldn't you want to know?

"There is one lawgiver,"

praise God,
"who is able to save"

and who is able "to destroy."

There is how many
lawgivers? There is only one.

What is he able to do?

He is able to
save, the Bible said,

and he is able to destroy.

Keep that in mind.

I believe the
Sabbath is to be proclaimed

I'm telling you here

last days than ever before.

People need to
hear that obedience

to the seventh day Sabbath
is a life and death issue.

People say, you
know, it doesn't matter.

studying the Word of God.

and I will say it right upfront,

people who refuse to keep
the Sabbath, after they hear,

they study and they say,

"I understand it,"
you are going to know

and you are going to taste,
00:14:03.05\00:14:04.53
we are talking about death,
the reward of the transgressor.

Did you get
that? Once you hear it,

once you study it,
once you say I know,

if you don't follow
it you're gonna taste,
00:14:12.48\00:14:14.52
you're gonna taste the
reward of the transgressor.

You know, people
continue to trample

upon the seventh day Sabbath.

And many people say
they have a knowledge of it.

So what are we going to do?

You have a knowledge, you
know what you should be doing.

Once again we will taste
of the seven last plagues.

No one wants to do
that. I know it's heavy duty.

Now with these thoughts in mind
let's do a little more digging,

a little more examining

and consider how
the seventh day Sabbath

should be kept
according to Scripture.

Now remember
according to Scripture.

And if you find
any of these things

that's not backed by Scripture,

the principle of God's

The Sabbath question

is to be the great
issue in this final crisis

we realize, this conflict,

going to play a part.

understand the real issue.

and being pleasing
to the God of heaven?

Man is not going to
be able, the Bible said,

able to buy or sell

save he have the mark.

Have you read that
in Revelation 13:17?

You are not going to be able.

And for He causes
all, the Bible said,

that would not worship the image

of the beast should be killed.

Have you read that
in Revelation 13:15?

These are life and death issues

and so we need
to understand them.
