continue to put up

our sin for much longer.

We want to ask for the
power of the Holy Spirit.

I found this out
in my studies that,

you know, you can sit
down read all you want,

but unless you have the
power of the Holy Spirit,

the scriptures clear

and impressing
thoughts and the truce.

You know, we will
never be able to comprehend.

So let's go to the
God in prayer, shall we?

Number one, what, the kind,

the condition that
existed during the call

for such a judgment from God,

that the judgment of God

was going to fall.

There was a sword that was
coming to slay utterly what?

Is that here that
the young and the old.

What kind of
conditions, what was going on

that it would come to
that point where God would say.

You know, go and
destroy everybody.

And then number two, the vision.

Primarily we realize that
the vision was for Babylon,
00:11:08.65\00:11:12.51
but also we realized secondarily
00:11:12.52\00:11:14.51
that this is for
the God's in time people
00:11:14.52\00:11:17.30
how things will be played out.
00:11:17.31\00:11:19.27
Another fulfillment
just before Jesus comes
00:11:19.28\00:11:22.90
that should be an
interest to each of us today.
00:11:22.91\00:11:25.70
Three, we studied
that God gives nations,
00:11:25.71\00:11:30.09
he people a certain
time of probationary time.
00:11:30.10\00:11:34.39
And when that time is up
00:11:34.40\00:11:35.56
we have not
heeded the call of God,
00:11:35.57\00:11:38.02
then the
judgments begin to fall.

You realize
there's people in world
00:11:40.54\00:11:41.73
that's not
heeding the voice of God

and then all of a
sudden disaster one
00:11:43.08\00:11:44.57
after the other
begins to hit them,

because they know to do better,

but they are
rejecting the council of God.

Point number four,
we learned in our part.

Ezekiel was in
vision when he was given

the--a look
inside the temple of God.
00:11:55.83\00:12:00.15
He saw all kind of
manner a filthy abominations.
00:12:00.16\00:12:05.37
Now think with me
just for a moment.
00:12:05.38\00:12:06.94
As he was viewing and
looking at these abominations,
00:12:06.95\00:12:11.19
you know, the spirit of God,
00:12:11.20\00:12:12.48
the angel God said to him,
00:12:12.49\00:12:13.71
I want you to start dig deep
00:12:13.72\00:12:16.38
and I want you to
see all the things
00:12:16.39\00:12:17.92
that were going on
among God's people.
00:12:17.93\00:12:20.75
Not the world where
you would expect it but,

you know, in among God's people,
00:12:23.24\00:12:24.86
in the very
temple supposedly of God.
00:12:24.87\00:12:28.28
And so number
five, we find the leaders

and the priest and the
people were warned to change.

Oh, they didn't want to change.
00:12:35.65\00:12:36.98
They just kind of felt like that

God would protect
the city even though
00:12:38.32\00:12:40.30
there was the prophet said
the city would be destroyed,

the temple would
be destroyed and what?

They wouldn't
listen, because they said,
00:12:45.98\00:12:47.46
oh, the temple and
God well, you know,
00:12:47.47\00:12:49.08
we're His special chosen
people and God's going to
00:12:49.09\00:12:52.52
overlook all these things.
00:12:52.53\00:12:54.11
No, God will not over look sin.
00:12:54.12\00:12:56.28
God will not overlook rebellion
00:12:56.29\00:12:58.58
in your life or in my life.
00:12:58.59\00:13:00.61
Point number six,
the greatest abomination
00:13:00.62\00:13:03.53
now there was many abominations.
00:13:03.54\00:13:05.69
But the greatest was
is when the man of God
00:13:05.70\00:13:08.30
tuned their back to the
temple and they worship what?
00:13:08.31\00:13:11.06
Good, some of you
are paying attention.
00:13:11.07\00:13:13.07
They worshiped the
sun and God said no,
00:13:13.08\00:13:16.24
you can't be
worshiping any other,
00:13:16.25\00:13:18.20
you know, false God's, you
can't be worshiping the sun.
00:13:18.21\00:13:22.30
We need to be
worshiping the God of creation.

These were the people who
were supposed to be the support,
00:13:24.94\00:13:28.45
the guardians of the truth
00:13:28.46\00:13:31.32
that God had given to His people
00:13:31.33\00:13:32.93
and they turned
their back on this truth.

Last point, it's
in our first lesson,

God is calling a people today,
00:13:37.49\00:13:40.49
you know, and He
is saying right now.

We need not to be following

all of those abominations
00:13:43.54\00:13:45.59
that were so clear
in the Book of Ezekiel.

And if there be
abominations those need to go.

And so this kind of
opens a little bit of our train

of thought to get
into our study for today.

But, you know, Ezekiel 8,
we realize that the--what we,

what we study there was such
insight to Ezekiel Chapter 9.

So you can't really get
a good insight in our study

until we went to Eden.

Now realize that now Ezekiel 9,

the time had come
when the judgments of God

was about to
fall upon the people.

The warnings and the
counsel had been rejected,

the nation then what?

Probation had
closed, but praise God

open for individuals.

Just deal could be
able to come from God,

individuals that came to God,

there is
something very important.

Now I'm gonna mention this
two or three different times

The individuals that
were going to be marked

or accepted by God had
to be sighing and crying.

Sighing and crying for
the abominations that be done.

The things that were wrong,

sin in as they
were in the church,

sin in the individuals life.

If they were sighing and crying,

they could not
receive of that mark.

They could not be
acceptable to God.

Friend this is
very, very important

for us to understand.

in Psalms 34:15 it says,

"The eyes of the Lord
are upon the righteous,

and His ears are open," to
their what? "To their cry."

This is a promise
that God gives is what?

His ears are open, I like that,

His eyes are on the righteous.

Are you living for God today?

you are serving him

you as a parent would

that and then His ears

prayers, as we talk to God.

and then Psalms 34:17 says,

"The righteous

out of their troubles."

So as we cry, or the righteous

that is important
part because God can't,

he is not going to
deal with the unrighteous,

he just can't work
the way He wants to,

but if you are
righteous, He hears your cries.

beautiful, hears their cry

and then He delivers them out of

of their troubles.

Oh my, is anybody
having trouble today?

encounter some troubles

know, financial loss,

mainly physically,
spiritually and financially?

But you know, God says it,

you just turn to me
and you pray and you ask

and God is going to do something

really be in your life.

So what? His ears are open

and he said I am going
to deliver you from what?

All your troubles, so
if you have troubles today,

how about let God
deliver you from those signs?

He is the only
one that can do it.

Okay so there is
a couple of passages

But here is the
opposite side of the coin,

we need to look fairly at.

And Bible says this in
Psalms 34:16 notice this,

"The face of the Lord is
against them that do evil."

No what is it? The
face of the Lord is against

those who do what?

Who do evil, so God
is saying is not much

he can do for those
who rebel against Him.

So our study
today is going to be

centered around Ezekiel 9, why?

Because the
Christ is almost upon us.

When you think in
terms of this vision

he has a inkhorn and
the err was he has agony,

he is marking people
and then there is a sword

and there is going to be death.

Friend this is an awesome thing,

which pertains to us today.

Now, remember, the
visitation of the Lord

is just around the corner,

the things that
we're talking about

now are warnings from
God that we need to heed.

And please keep
in mind when you,

This talking about God does not,

He doesn't want to punish us.

says this punishment

So God doesn't want to do this,

fair and just, isn't He?

it is going to take
place and it is going to

take place quickly and
where are you going to stand?

today as a profess Christian?

Are you doing
all the will of God,

everything that you know?
