prophecies fulfilling

before our very eyes,

our hearts have
been crying out to God

for the saving of ourselves,

for the saving of our
family and our friends.

It is recorded in sacred

whom the ends of
the world are come.

Joshua lay moaning
upon his face before God,

because the people were obliged

to make a disgraceful
retreat before their enemies.

Here in this
example we have some idea of

the responsibility
resting upon the Church

God requires them to do

in order to have His presence.

Listen closely to this.

It is a sin in any
Church not to search

for the cause of their darkness

afflictions which have been

in the midst of them.

The Church cannot be a living,

prosperous Church
until they are more awake

to the wrongs among them,

which hinder the blessing
of God from coming upon them.

not suffer their brethren

These are the very
ones that should awaken

the sympathy of all the hearts

The true disciples
of Christ will work

but many times we misquote

how you think about,

once I start you'll understand.

Says, "we have nothing to
fear for the future except

as we should forget the
way the Lord has led us."

And again people say,
led us and they will say,

led us in the past.

That's it. It's not
the way that it reads.

Except as we shall forget
the way the Lord has led us,

and His teaching
in our past history.

His teaching, how
important that is.

The lessons in the
Bible, in the book,

His teachings and how

so we don't have to
worry or fear about the future.

We have to make sure we
don't forget the lessons

And then I found something
I call food for thought,

fits into and what we're
going to be talking about

And again it's dealing
with sin in the Church,

it's giving a straight testimony

which most people
don't want to hear anymore.

But it's God speaking to us.

Now, the food for
thought is found in

But this is talking about our,

that what we're talking
about the sin, signature.

And some people say
it was just a little sin,

a white lie, you
know, the little things,

first of all there is what?

No little sin, sin
is sin, sin will keep us

out of the Kingdom.

But in this article
He said common sins,

that means people who refer
to them as just little things,
00:11:41.83\00:11:44.81
almost insignificant,
it doesn't matter,
00:11:44.82\00:11:47.34
however insignificant
they may be regarded
00:11:47.35\00:11:50.87
not the sin isn't
significant, any kind,
00:11:50.88\00:11:53.55
but how it may be regarded
will impair your moral sins
00:11:53.56\00:11:58.35
and extinguish
the inward impressions
00:11:58.36\00:12:01.41
of the spirit of God.
00:12:01.42\00:12:04.22
None of us can
afford to extinguish

or put out the
power of the spirit

of the living God, can we?

But the little things,
you know what I believe this,

more people will be lost
because of what they consider

as a little sin, insignificant,

rather than may be the big,
00:12:21.85\00:12:24.10
what people consider big sins.

Friend, God is going
to get our attention here.

I need the spirit of
God and I know you want

the spirit of God.

The plain straight
testimony must live

and it's going
to be living what?

individuals who will pick up

God gives them to do.

You know, I know in
preparing for this study

that the Lord was
working on my heart,

working on my heart and
working on my heart on it

and there's times I
wanted to kind of get away

to something that, whoa,
be careful and you know--
00:12:54.02\00:12:56.96
a little easier or
sometime to digest.

But the Lord
always brought me back

and I'd go over
here and He bring me back

and He bring me back, so
finally I submitted said,

thank you Lord, the Church, we,

God's people need
the straight testimony

to get our lives in order.

And so I believe this,
our message today is the same

as was John the
Baptist in preparing

the people to meet Jesus.

We should be going
with the thought in our mind

that we need to repent what?

For the kingdom
of heaven is at hand,

Matthew Chapter
3 verses 2 and 3.

And so as we
prepare as we repent

and then for the
kingdom of heaven

and then we are to
prepare the way of the Lord

and then verse 3
goes on and says what?

Make straight his
paths, the path straight.

So the Lord's
saying there must have been

some crookedness going on,

there are some
crooked things that need

to be
straightened out before I come.

And you know what's guilty,
a lot of time crooked men.

They take the word
of God, they twist it,

they make it crooked, it
needs to be straightened out.

And God said that
the people in last days

he will impress by
power of His spirit,

they're going to come on say,

this is not the
truth of God's word.

Before He comes
those crooked paths,

those lies, those sins,

those false doctrines
are going to be exposed

and the truth will be given.

As John was
proclaiming this message,

he was, he was, he was
announcing this establishment

of the kingdom of heaven.

He was announcing it
and then number two he was,

he was announcing that
the king was soon to arrive

and just before
the king would arrive

that these paths
would be made straight.

Now, in Luke Chapter 17 verse 21

this answers a
question, many people find

difficulty with this,
I talked to some about it

and here's what they
have simply, they've said.

The question is this, you know,

where is the kingdom of God?

And some others start,
you know trying to make
00:14:49.04\00:14:50.74
a location
somewhere in the world
00:14:50.75\00:14:52.33
or you know over here,
it's there, it's up here,
00:14:52.34\00:14:54.69
it's way down here.
00:14:54.70\00:14:55.71
The Bible is
very, very clear says
00:14:55.72\00:14:57.21
the kingdom of God is where?
00:14:57.22\00:14:59.34
Kingdom of God is with in us.
00:14:59.35\00:15:01.55
We read that in
Luke 17:21, what?
00:15:01.56\00:15:04.37
It only can be
inside of us as we do what?

As we accept Him as
our Lord and as our Savior.

And so this tells me,
the message of John was given

and the message that
we should be giving today,

there needs to be a work
of heart that is going on.

The crooked places of
man's heart needs to be

straightened out
and you know what

the word of God
will do that for us.

This is why John was preaching

and what we should be preaching
today the baptism of what?

Of repentance.

In Mark Chapter 1 verse
4 that we talked about the,

the baptism
here, the baptism means

a change of the mind.

Do we need a change of mind?

Oh, yes.

You know if you
say you don't today

you know we need
a change everyday,

we need to be
growing in the grace of God,

more about scripture everyday,

and the cost of sin
and what, how God views it.

So, we in a high time

you know sin gonna have to go

from the Church,
where it will be local,

where ever it might be
among God's professed people.

it says we need to take the,

you know also the
access laid to what?

To the root.

And again to be
able to get something,

to kill something as it were,

something is growing
you have to get what?

All the way to the bottom,

you have to get to the
root and get rid of that.

So, getting rid
of sin permanently

thing we have to learn to do as

sin by its right name.
