greater light, more
truth. This is the desire of

every serious
Bible student for sure.

The Bible supports this
view and such promises as

the one found in the
Book of John chapter 8
00:01:11.82\00:01:14.74
and verse 32 where it reads,
00:01:14.75\00:01:16.61
And ye shall know the truth,
00:01:17.29\00:01:19.02
and the truth
shall set you free.

Oh, what about
statements like the one that

Paul wrote to Timothy
in First Timothy chapter 3

and verse 15 where he says,

But if I tarry long,
that thou mayest know

behave thyself in the

of the living God,

the truth. And doesn't this

thought of greater
light or more truth make

perfect sense where we
realize that truth itself

is one of the divine
characteristics of God.

Let's look at this as
expressed in the Book of

Deuteronomy
chapter 32 and verse 4,

He, referring to
God here is the Rock,

his work is
perfect: for all his ways

are judgment: a God of truth

Therefore for us to
properly reflect God

receive the latter rain we are

time of trouble and we

go to heaven. So
this is we call it life

and death. The important of this

special attention to this

all the light that God has

know to be truth,

to give us any more light.

We have to live up to
it. So we are challenged

with that and we're
gonna have to ask God's

guidance to help us on
it. You know those who are

living up to the
light can expect that God is

especially in
these closing scenes of

earth's history.
I want to know how

near it is to the
coming of Jesus don't you?

prepared and this is part of

being prepared to
receive the latter rain.

Are we qualified
and are we living up to

that light? I'm going to start

with a passage there
in Ninth Testimonies 182,

I'm going to read this
to you and I want you to

pay special
attention to it. It says,

The Lord brings His
erring children over the
00:09:48.93\00:09:51.69
same ground. Now why does God

bring us over and over
the same ground, notice,

again and again,
but if they continually

fail to heed the
admonitions of His Spirit,

if they fail to reform
on every point where they

have erred, He
will finally leaven

them to their own weakness.

What is God telling us here?

He takes us over and
over to the same ground so

darkness is
going to over take us.

So we need to be
walking while the light is

shining on the path right now.

If we could only in
our mind say God help me to

understand the hour
in which we are living,

how close we are to
the coming of Jesus and the

necessity of
God's people waking up.

We have a message to
give that is specific

message to give to the world.

It is a message that
will prepare people to

meet Jesus. It's not going to

be an easy one;
it's going to be a very

challenging message
that God is asking us to

give that
message. Now Jesus gave

instructions when
someone will say well you know

we shake the dust off our feet,

I want you to pay
special attention to this,

because when Jesus gave
the 12 instructions as he
00:11:21.33\00:11:25.17
sent them out to
different locations,

notice what Jesus
said Matthew 10 verse 14 so

you are writing
these things down I'm sure.

And it says,
whosoever shall not receive you,

nor hear your words.
Notice, when ye depart

house or of the city,

shake off the dust of your feet,

what does that
mean? Some people say well

we are just gonna
shake off the dust,

we are just gonna leave them.

Jesus said if they're
not going to hear and I'm

challenging with
that, if you're not

to listen what maybe the result.

Jesus said shake off
the dust off your feet.

I got to thinking about
that Ecclesiastes chapter

3 verse 20 says
this all are of the dust,

all shall return to
dust. So on looking this,

okay what is God
saying shake off the dust of

your feet here, so
man then equals what dust,

that's what the Bible
said, earth, clay and in

Genesis 2:7 Jesus
says that man is made

out of what, good, the
dust of the earth or the
00:12:25.73\00:12:28.01
elements of the
earth. And so Jesus says in

Matthew 10 verse
14, shake off, listen,

the whitewash.
Shake off the lime,
00:12:34.06\00:12:38.16
shake off the loose
dirt, or the rubbish of man.

The time comes
the man says I am not

going to hear, I
am not going to obey

Jesus says you're going
to have to lead him alone

what is that mean,

realize that the seal

seal in the forehead of
those who keep all of the

by God's grace keeping all

Now the fourth commandment

wanting to pour
His spirit out upon us.

In the Second Peter 1
and verse 3 I want you pay

because active Christian

virtues pay, it's
such a very important

part here in our
Christian experience and I

think maybe some of
us have overlooked it.

Second Peter 1 verse
3, let me read it to you,

it says, his divine
power hath given unto us

all things. Now

by what by his divine
power that pertains to

life and godliness,
through the knowledge

of Him that hath
called us to glory.

What is this glory?
Glory deals with dignity,

it deals with honor,
it deals with worship and

it deals with
virtue. What are these we're

talking about
Christian graces and Christian

virtue here,
virtue is excellence.

It's praise to expiate
sin or to what make the

means for wrong doings.
That's very interesting.

virtues are these graces

attention it has to do with

character
development and receiving

the latter rain.
You may not think but

I believe we will
get this as we study

Here's what Second

Peter 1:4 says, it
says, that by these,

talking about these virtues,

that by these we
might be partakers of what,

of divine nature.
How important is that

for us to be
partakers of divine nature.

these Christian graces

transforming agency of

image of God is reproduced
