upon us receiving

think Thanksgiving Day

parades and football games.

It was not mentioned

giving thanks to God
for all of the blessings

They took almost 80 years

for Congress to act. I
wonder why so slow maybe,

do was praising God for

He gives. Everyone has

grateful and thankful for.

The Bible says in
Proverbs 13, verse 7:

There is that
maketh himself rich,

How can this be? One
person seems to be rich

about an older gentleman.

A friend later
confided in about this man.

walking as though
he owned the world.

He seemed like he

needs. He couldn't even figure

God had to meet his needs.

Too numerous, but he
walked around with a happiness

and that assurance
though he didn't have

pocket, didn't own anything,

just the clothes on his back.

There was something
special, he knew his father,

when things get tight.

few dollars in the bank.

nothing. He believed

in the Bible truth,

had met this man's needs.

that maketh himself rich

one that maketh

everything. Does this
man fit? He really believes

that God loved him; he
had a peace that was within,

that would show on the outside.

See during this time
we need to have that peace

inside of us but not

others who are grasping
