Let's look to the
Lord as we pray together,

I am praying today, Lord, that

that the message of Scripture

to bless the Lord in good times.

It's easy to bless the
Lord when the members for feels

the health improves, it's

right to bless the
Lord and wealthy times,

but to bless the
Lord at all times

requires an intimacy with God

that is beyond your predicament.

For true worship
friends is not seasonal

the Lord is great and

today is that at
some point your praise

ought to be so
counter to your certain stance

that your praise ought to
actually make you look crazy.

there ought to come a time

Silas gave God a crazy praise

they were bound in prison,

says that at midnight

they could be heard praying
and singing praises unto God.

They gave him a crazy praise.
00:08:06.28\00:08:07.85
The three Hebrew boys
gave him a crazy praise for
00:08:08.95\00:08:11.69
on their way to
the fiery furnace.
00:08:11.72\00:08:14.06
They made it known that
they would only praise the true
00:08:15.19\00:08:17.79
and living God, that
David gave him a crazy praise
00:08:17.83\00:08:22.03
that even when he was in
Route, I escaped from Saul.

The Bible says that he would
bless the Lord at all times

and even joke gave
him a crazy praise.

But when he loses all
his livelihood and his kids,

he falls down in worship

and glorifies the God

whose worship is not
based upon who's singing

what's in your bank account.

counter to your predicament.

But there's just a few things
I want to highlight about family

and the great controversy today.

Joe, chapter one in verse four,

when you get there,
let me hear you say, man,

the Bible talks about
Joe's sons, the Bible says,

and his sons would go
and feast in their houses
00:09:36.34\00:09:38.27
each on its appointed
day, and he would sing
00:09:39.27\00:09:41.51
and invite three sisters
to eat and drink with them.
00:09:41.54\00:09:44.65
And so it was when the days
of feasting had run their course

that Joe would see
him and sanctify them
00:09:49.18\00:09:51.25
and he would rise
early in the morning
00:09:52.09\00:09:53.66
and offer burnt offerings.

According to the number of
demand for Joe said it may be

that my sons have sinned
and curse God in their hearts.

And so thus Joe did have

The story of Joe
has very powerful

implications
for these last days.

But the first thing Joe
shows us today is that perfect

parents can still
raise imperfect children.

Not not now. Understand friends.

That job is described
actually as blameless.

He is described as upright.

In fact, Joe's
character is so devout

that Satan does not
come looking for Joe.

Joe is actually
recommended by God.

children, the one detail we have

children knew how to turn up.

In fact, this
thing is so bad church

Here's this thing is
so bad that Joe says,

I got to offer burnt
offerings for these kids.

that they might have
curse God in their hearts.

Now, to some of us,
this seems extremes.

But the truth
is, we know our kids,

because of the behavior
they consistently display.

thing I like about Joe

The thing I like
about Joe is that he

need to get in the habit
