that in the hearing of the word

You know, friends over the

over the last few months,

God has been impressing me

to declare 2025
00:04:28.90\00:04:31.67
to be a leap year.
00:04:32.17\00:04:34.20
And to be clear, church
00:04:35.84\00:04:37.57
it is not a stationary year.
00:04:37.61\00:04:39.64
It is not a stained year.
00:04:40.78\00:04:42.88
It is not just a step year,
00:04:43.68\00:04:46.01
it's a leap year,
00:04:46.65\00:04:49.28
which means by the
time this year ends, you
00:04:49.32\00:04:53.25
ought to be in a different
place than you are right now.

I believe that
this year somebody
00:04:58.73\00:05:01.56
is going to make a
big spiritual leap.

I believe somebody is going
to make a big financial leap.

I believe somebody is going
to make a big professional leap.

I believe somebody is going
to make a forgiveness leap.

I believe somebody

is going to make a
leap in their healing today.

And if Jesus comes,
we are going to make a

so nothing leap as we are bound
from this earth to eternity.

ought to be a year of progress.

to say is that a leap

with what you have.

A leap year begins
with what you believe.

take a moment because I

am consistently astounded
by what we don't believe.

Because

some of us have
into sensory faith
00:06:00.42\00:06:02.92
so that we believe certain
things are possible for others.
00:06:04.09\00:06:07.96
But we don't believe
that it's possible for us.
00:06:08.96\00:06:11.37
Most of us don't really believe
00:06:12.37\00:06:15.17
we can experience
spiritual breakthrough.
00:06:15.20\00:06:18.11
Most of us don't really believe
00:06:19.71\00:06:22.48
we can receive the
Holy Ghost in its entirety.

Most of us don't really believe
00:06:27.08\00:06:29.32
we can be the
head and not the tail.

Most of us don't really believe

for divine
healing in our bodies.

Most of us don't really believe

that even though we
are the Church of Prophecy.

We don't really believe in
visions and dreams in our time.

And the reason Church
certain things never become

is because we
don't really believe.

And let me be clear

that when we talk about
faith, faith is not a noun.

Faith is a verb.

It is not something you possess.

It is something you demonstrate.

In other words, church
faith is not a meditation.

It's a muscle.

It is something
that has to be employed

and put into work in
order for it to grow.

And I just want to say,
Church, of all the leads

that we need to take this year,

the first leap
that we all need to take

is we need to take a
leap in the area of our faith.

If you believe it,

I remember when my
kids were a little younger.

We were at our
neighborhood swimming pool.

Malcolm And as long as I was
in the shallow end, waist high,

my kids, without
thought would jump cannonball

into my arms in the
shallow end of the water.

But after a while say I
would go into the deep end,

where it was about five foot,

where they could
not stand on their own,

and they would have to
trust me to catch them.

And so I would invite my
oldest son to leap in the water.

But he began to act tentative

and he would try to hold on
to the earth and hold on to me

at the same time.

But that's why God bless
his dad is with daughters.

They are here in
the past as the day.

And so I told my
daughter to jump into the water

and she went all the
way back to the fence

to get as much
runway as she could.

And she came and
didn't slow down at the end,

but she made a cannonball

to chasten her older brother.

were you afraid of?

Even though it's the deep
end that is taller than the deep

end, and also Daddy
strong enough to catch us.

And guess what? Daddy
ain't never let us fall.

And what I'm saying to
somebody today is that it's time

for you to jump into
the deep end of faith.

But the good news is
that your daddy is taller than

the deep end.

Your daddy is
strong enough to catch you.

And do I have a witness, though?

Daddy has never let you fall.

And so somebody
needs to let go of the edge

and take a leap
of faith in Jesus.

back to Acts Chapter 14,

I want you to know that
this text, though brief,

is dense with powerful
and spiritual application.

And the first thing
it teaches is that faith
00:09:34.80\00:09:37.57
is the only thing
that made him stand out.
00:09:37.61\00:09:41.58
Let me say it again, that
the only thing that makes him
00:09:42.78\00:09:45.75
and makes us stand
out is the power of faith.
00:09:46.68\00:09:49.92
Now, understand, friends.
00:09:50.55\00:09:52.19
We find the apostles ministering
here in the city of Lystra.
00:09:52.22\00:09:56.89
Now, the reason
they wind up there is
00:09:57.76\00:10:00.10
because the persecution
in Iconium was so great
00:10:00.13\00:10:03.63
that they had to migrate
there in order to escape it.
00:10:04.77\00:10:07.97
And then this moment,

it is not obvious
where Paul is preaching.
00:10:09.54\00:10:12.77
Maybe Paul is in an open square.
00:10:13.48\00:10:15.94
Perhaps he is in
someone's residence.

Maybe Paul is in a local temple.
00:10:19.61\00:10:21.78
But the one
thing that is obvious

is that, as Paul preaches,
the Holy Ghost has come upon him

and understand
that this territory
00:10:29.86\00:10:31.93
is not what you would consider
fertile, are comfortable
00:10:33.09\00:10:35.53
territory for the gospel to
grow for in the city of life.
00:10:35.56\00:10:40.07
Sure.
00:10:40.10\00:10:40.97
You've got an
eclectic mix of beliefs.
00:10:41.00\00:10:43.71
So you've got
hardened, unbelieving Jews
00:10:44.57\00:10:47.01
who are dispersed
00:10:47.51\00:10:48.68
among the Greek religions
and superstitions of the day.
00:10:48.71\00:10:52.61
And even though this is not
an ideal place for the gospel
00:10:53.85\00:10:57.32
to grow, the Holy Ghost begins
to cause the room to swell.

As God gives Paul

a unique ability to
preach the gospel that day.

And friends among
the hearers is a man
00:11:09.16\00:11:12.87
that the Bible says
is in a sitting position,

and he has been crippled from
his mother's womb and friends.

Isn't it completely fortuitous
that a crippled man who cannot
00:11:22.31\00:11:27.95
walk winds up in a
service where Paul is preaching?

Now, Prince, I

don't know if this
is the service he chose
00:11:34.49\00:11:38.23
or if he got just
stuck in the service.

In other words,
maybe there are some

who migrate toward the exit,
but because he cannot walk,

he is unable to
get out of the door.

And so I don't know if

he chose the service or
if the service chose him.

protest certain services,

that the services I resisted

the most were the services
where I got blessed the best.

I see sometimes the devil
puts a resistance in your heart

to keep you from receiving

what God had in store for you.

And so you understand that as
Paul begins to preach the word.

There is something as
he notices and executes

audience as speakers do.

There is something about
the man that Paul says, Man,

this brother has
the faith to be healed.

Now, when you read
Acts of the Apostles,

it actually gives us an
insight into Paul's sermon

manuscript this day
and Acts of the Apostle.

She says that as
Paul begins to preach,
00:13:37.91\00:13:40.48
he starts with the story
00:13:41.05\00:13:42.15
of creation, and he lets
these superstitious men know
00:13:42.18\00:13:46.02
that God is the creator
of the heavens and the Earth.
00:13:47.19\00:13:49.76
He makes it clear
00:13:50.26\00:13:51.39
that God is the architect
of every snowcapped mountain
00:13:51.43\00:13:54.76
and God is the contractor
for every flower filled valley.
00:13:55.93\00:13:59.30
And he lets them know
that the systems of Earth
00:14:00.44\00:14:02.64
have no mind or
will of their own,
00:14:03.47\00:14:05.67
but they execute the will
of the God that created them.

And then Paul shifts
into God as a provider,

and he preaches
that God opens his hand

and supplies the desire
of every living creature.

Then He begins to preach about
the prophecies of the Messiah,

and he points out how
the services of the Sanctuary

were a little play of
what the Messiah would do.

But then the
sermon hits his peak

as he talks about
the life of Jesus.

He begins to preach how he
was born as a babe in Bethlehem,

how he walked among men, and how
he lived as a miracle worker.

And he began to
preach in this man's hearing

how Jesus of Nazareth

was able to give the
blind their sight, the deaf,

their hearing, and the
cripple would get up and walk.

And as the man
listened to preach,

that was something that
detonated inside of his soul.

That was something so great
on the man that Paul could see

that the man had
faith to be healed.

Now, church,

let me slow it down
because I need you to get this.

The only thing that
distinguished the man was

his faith. Okay.

In other words, the
man was not more moving.

He was not more righteous.

He was not more deserving.

He was just more believing.

In other words, the
only distinctive thing

about this man is
that he believed for it.

wake somebody up today

because there is somebody
that is in need of a miracle.

And the only pre-condition is

that you believe God for it.

See, Hebrews 11 six
says that without faith,

it is impossible to please God.

But He that comes to
God must believe that He is,

and that He is a reward of
them that diligently seek him.

If you believe it,

qualified to receive it.

And the reason I'm saying this
is because there is something

about us as
people that loves to add

merit requirements

and stipulations to
the blessings of God,

that the
Scriptures have not put there.

Notice that there was no
morality clause in the miracle.

Oh, God, no, no.

That this brother in the temple
this day, he probably serves

another deity.

He has never kept a Sabbath day.

He is never given
tithes and offering.

And even if he's a Jew,
he doesn't believe on Jesus.

And He has not
received the Holy Ghost.

So that the miracle is
not about what he earned.

It's not about what he deserved.

It's completely
about what he believed

and see.

the truth is so critical

Because some of us
listening today have literally

made ourselves
ineligible for miracles.

Because you have
called the belief

that says I'm
not deserving enough
00:17:44.86\00:17:47.60
or worthy enough of
the blessings of God.

But friends, when
you look at the word,

miracles are not
given to the deserving.

Miracles are
given to the believing.

Let's look at the word.

Remember that
Jesus did a miracle

for a pagan
bloody centurion. Why?

Because the man had enough faith

that when Jesus was
on his way to his house,

all the way to the house.

Just speak the word.

And I know that my
servant will be healed.

Jesus did a miracle
for a witchcraft, Saracen.

missing healing power

inside of the room.

Now, it's
interesting because the scholars

are literally trying to surmise
what it is that Paul sees

that says that this man
has the faith to be healed.

And one scholar says the
way they know the man has faith

brother is focused in the word.

So that when Paul is
preaching and somebody comes

with some gossip in his
ear, he's suing them away.

When the word is being spoken

and a loud noise
