that he is about to
miss out on a miracle.

In fact, literally there are
some of us that are out of place

hear what God is saying

because we're so contaminated
by what people might say.

And it's an interesting thing.

CHURCH Because Moses, his fear

is not that it's going to fail.

His fear is, what are
they going to say if it fails?

Because some of us would
rather endure the scorn of God

than the scoffing of people.

And what happens, friends,
is that over time, outward

opinions become and I know

I need you to get
that your God is not just

the one you pray to, are
the one you lift hands toward.

In other words, who
is the one that you're

Are you worry more about what
man says, about what God says?

because your parents

that will resist the

because you're scared about what

somebody is going to think

or what problem they think
that you are going to have.

There are some of us

that are afraid to embrace
all that God has called us to

because we're afraid

of what people
are going to think

about the way it
is that we are moving.

But do I have at least 12
folks that are living to hear

You just want to
hear Jesus say, well done,

good and faithful servants.

And this is interesting.

Church because Moses
is absolutely missing

the moment.

Do you realize that your calling

is a complement to.

missing the church.

Your calling is
the highest compliment

that God can
ever place upon you.

In other words, Moses is

bypasses everybody in Egypt.

we are not a divine necessity?

viral like 10 million times.

But there were a lot
of people that liked it.

But there were certain
people when they liked it,

it meant a little bit more.

So when Shannon Sharpe liked
it, it meant a little bit more.

not hear it meant a little bit

of people don't like you,

and the rod becomes a serpent.

And what God is showing Moses
is this, is that super natural

things can be done
with ordinary things

that come from obedient hands,

because up to this point,
Moses assumes that this rod

can only be used for one
of three or four purposes.

Sometimes these rods will come
with a hook or lasso on them,

and he will use his rod

to pull sheep from
string and back into alignment.

Maybe Moses would use his rod
to be able to fight off wolves

or mountain lions that threaten
the well-being of the flock.

Or maybe as Moses
walked through uneven terrain,

he would use this rod to
help maintain his balance.

Maybe Church Moses has
had this rod for a minute.

Maybe he's been
walking with it for 45 years.

He didn't realize that it
had any miraculous potential.

But when Moses
began to use this rod

with obedient hands, God
began to do supernatural things.

So, friends, this same rod

that he

used to fight
wolves, this same rod

that he used to
discipline sheep, this same rod

that he used to keep
his balance was the same rod

that he dipped in the
water in front of Pharaoh,

and the waters
became like blood.

It is this same rod that
he pointed toward the heavens,

and all of a sudden hell
began to fall out of the sky.

God took that same rod.

When he struck the ground.

Life began to overtake the land.

It is the same rod that
he points toward the east,

and armies of locusts
come and destroy the harvest.

It is with this same rod that
he points toward the Red Sea,

dry ground with this same rod.

the rock and water comes
out and satisfies the people.

But I need you to know
that God didn't do every miracle

using the rod.

Sometimes he used acid.

Sometimes Moses
pointed his hand.

Sometimes he
stressed out his arms.

And the miracle took place.

And why didn't God
always use the rod?

Because he never wanted
Moses to become superstitious

about the rod.

He was never supposed to think
the idol was the one that did it

because the
miracle was not in the rod.

The miracle was
in obedient hands.
