(Breath of Life Theme Music) 00:00:01.16\00:00:11.54 Sermon #B686 - Just Enough Grace 00:00:11.57\00:00:20.82 Dr. Byrd: Let me get quickly in the word. If you have your Bibles, go with me to the Book 00:00:20.85\00:00:25.69 of Luke. And we are going to Luke 7:36. The word of God says 00:00:25.72\00:00:37.23 in Luke 7:36, "And one of the Pharisees desire him that he would eat with him, 00:00:37.27\00:00:42.20 and he went into the Pharisee's house and sat down to meet. 00:00:42.24\00:00:47.01 Behold a woman in the city which was a sinner when she knew that 00:00:47.04\00:00:53.82 Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisees house. She brought an alabaster box of ointment 00:00:53.85\00:00:59.29 and stood at his feet behind him weeping and began to wash his 00:00:59.32\00:01:04.46 feet with tears and then wipe them with the hairs of her head and kissed his feet and anointed 00:01:04.49\00:01:10.33 them with the ointment. Now when the Pharisee, which had bidden him, saw it speak within himself 00:01:10.37\00:01:17.84 saying, "This man if he were a prophet would have known who and 00:01:17.87\00:01:23.95 what man or woman this is that toucheth him for she is a sinner." Jesus answering said 00:01:23.98\00:01:31.79 unto him, "Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee", and he said, "Master, say on". 00:01:31.82\00:01:39.63 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors. The one owed five hundred pence and the 00:01:39.66\00:01:45.53 other 50, and when they had nothing to pay, he frankly 00:01:45.57\00:01:50.04 forgave them both. Tell me they are for which of them will love him most. Simon answered and 00:01:50.07\00:01:54.68 said, "I suppose that he to whom he forgave most," and he said unto him, "Thou has rightly 00:01:54.71\00:02:02.25 judged," and he turn to the woman and he said unto Simon, "Seest thou this woman. 00:02:02.28\00:02:10.63 I entered into thy house that gave his me no water for my 00:02:10.66\00:02:14.96 feet, but she had washed my feet with her tears and wiped them with the hairs of her head. 00:02:15.00\00:02:21.10 Now gave his me no kiss this woman since the time I came in have not ceased to kiss my feet, 00:02:21.14\00:02:28.48 my head with oil. Now this not anoints, but this woman had anointed my feet with ointment. 00:02:28.51\00:02:36.28 Wherefore I said to me her sins, which are many they are forgiven 00:02:36.32\00:02:44.03 for she loved much but to whom little is forgiven the same loves little", and he said unto 00:02:44.06\00:02:48.16 her verse 48, "Thy sins are forgiven." 00:02:48.20\00:02:53.60 Today, I would challenge you on the subject just enough grace. Lord, right now, come over the 00:02:53.64\00:03:02.14 airwaves. Come in this sanctuary right now. Lord, you are already 00:03:02.18\00:03:06.25 here. I can feel you in this place. And I pray that by the power of your holy ghost that 00:03:06.28\00:03:11.92 you would move in a mighty way on me or on your people, on all those who are watching, 00:03:11.95\00:03:16.02 on all those who are listening and may your anointing make the difference this day. 00:03:16.06\00:03:20.93 I pray in the name of Jesus that God through the anointing you would destroy yokes today. 00:03:20.96\00:03:25.87 You would set somebody free today that you would remind someone of your matchless grace. 00:03:25.90\00:03:33.04 God I pray that you would be with us. Forgive me on my sins and when the appeal time comes 00:03:33.07\00:03:38.61 move, I pray. It is in the name of Jesus I ask these things and I begged these mercies. Amen. 00:03:38.65\00:03:47.92 Just Enough grace. A husband and wife are sitting in the gate area of an airport. 00:03:47.96\00:04:00.94 Hoping to get some seats on an overbooked flight after waiting 00:04:00.97\00:04:07.31 and worrying and praying for an hour that they would get seats 00:04:07.34\00:04:12.08 on the flight. The gate agent calls them over the PA system to come to the check-in desk. 00:04:12.11\00:04:19.29 Smiling, the gate agent says, "You won't believe it. But this is your lucky day." 00:04:19.32\00:04:27.20 The gate agent not only gets them seats on the plane, but the gate agent bumps them up to 00:04:27.23\00:04:34.50 first class. I wish somebody here. I had a witness to this place that would say upgrade 00:04:34.54\00:04:39.77 right now. This was the first and only time they had been in first class where they were 00:04:39.81\00:04:48.38 pampered on an airplane with good food, drinks and plenty of elbow room. Now while they're 00:04:48.42\00:04:58.36 sitting in first class, they decide to begin to play a game trying to guess who else doesn't 00:04:58.39\00:05:07.60 belong in first class. They see a man on the plane walking to and fro in the first class cabin 00:05:07.64\00:05:16.01 in his socks, restlessly sampling magazines, trying to figure out how to use the 00:05:16.04\00:05:23.12 television, playing with but never actually using the 00:05:23.15\00:05:29.19 in-flight phones. Twice, he sneezes so loudly that they thought the oxygen masks will 00:05:29.22\00:05:37.20 drop down. When the flight attendant brings linen tablecloths for their breakfast 00:05:37.23\00:05:43.71 trays, the man tucks his tablecloth into his collar like it is a bib. The couple, 00:05:43.74\00:05:53.42 they looked at one another and they knew that this man didn't belong in first class either. 00:05:53.45\00:06:01.86 The husband then says to his wife, "You know what? We see different people at church too. 00:06:01.89\00:06:11.70 We see people at church who look like they don't belong. But you 00:06:11.73\00:06:18.74 know what? People at church, they will embarrass us and cause us to feel superior. 00:06:18.77\00:06:26.75 But the truth is, we don't belong there anymore than they 00:06:26.78\00:06:33.92 do. And that's the truth for every single one of us. We don't belong in this picture of 00:06:33.96\00:06:42.46 Salvation. The only reason we are alive today is because of 00:06:42.50\00:06:49.84 God's grace. Jesus has come into the house of a Pharisee. The Pharisee have social graces. 00:06:49.87\00:06:57.28 The Pharisees knew how to play the game. He understood protocols. He understood 00:06:57.31\00:07:06.19 appropriateness. The Pharisee was religious. The Pharisee had 00:07:06.22\00:07:11.83 resources. The Pharisee could invite Jesus to his home for 00:07:11.86\00:07:17.20 dinner. Then comes the Bible says a prostitute knocking at 00:07:17.23\00:07:22.40 the door. Now it was appropriate for Jesus to be seen with a Pharisee at his house, but not a 00:07:22.44\00:07:30.05 prostitute. But then if the Pharisee is supposed to be so good and the Prostitute is 00:07:30.08\00:07:36.22 supposed to be so bad, how is the prostitute familiar with his house in the first place? She is 00:07:36.25\00:07:43.16 not holy. She is not righteous. She is not pure. She has been 00:07:43.19\00:07:49.53 around the block. She is messed up so bad that people knew her by what she did and not by her 00:07:49.56\00:07:55.40 name. What is this woman doing breaking in among these important men? She is a woman. 00:07:55.44\00:08:03.85 And back in those days, a woman was considered a second-class citizen property of the man. 00:08:03.88\00:08:11.32 And she is not even a good woman. She is a prostitute. Lady comes into the house. 00:08:11.35\00:08:18.99 She knows she is not supposed to be there according to the custom 00:08:19.03\00:08:23.16 of the day. A prostitute talking to a preacher. When I was a little boy in grade school, 00:08:23.20\00:08:29.60 they would show us pictures in school. And I remember one picture of a living room having 00:08:29.64\00:08:35.88 a sofa, a chair, a coffee table, an end table, and a refrigerator, and the teacher 00:08:35.91\00:08:40.82 would ask us, "What is wrong with this picture?" 00:08:40.85\00:08:43.55 The teacher wanted to see if our cognitive skills was strong 00:08:43.59\00:08:48.86 appropriateness. enough to discern And if you had 00:08:48.89\00:08:50.46 reasonable skills, you would circle the refrigerator to say that this does not go with that. 00:08:50.49\00:08:56.36 What is wrong with this picture? It is not Simon. He is a Pharisee. It is not Jesus. 00:08:56.40\00:09:06.74 He is a prophet. But let us just circle the prostitute. She does not have any business here, 00:09:06.78\00:09:16.05 but she is here anyway. She does not seek Jesus' face. She does not seek Jesus' hand. 00:09:16.08\00:09:22.32 She does not come for a blessing plan. She is not trying to get 00:09:22.36\00:09:26.70 his favor. She is just glad to be in the picture. She falls 00:09:26.73\00:09:32.37 down at his feet. She is weeping uncontrollably. Her tears are falling down. She lets her hair 00:09:32.40\00:09:39.17 down. She dries Jesus' feet. She kisses Jesus' feet. She anoints 00:09:39.21\00:09:46.58 Jesus' feet with ointment that was in an alabaster box that was comparable to one year's wages. 00:09:46.61\00:09:51.39 Simon, the Pharisee, the church member is standing over in the corner watching all of this, 00:09:51.42\00:09:58.86 turning up his nose, mumbling under his breath, 00:09:58.89\00:10:01.83 expressing his religious intolerance to her relational behavior and he questions Jesus' 00:10:01.86\00:10:09.17 discernment. If Jesus was such a prophet, he should have known this woman was a prostitute, a 00:10:09.20\00:10:18.75 sinner. He should have known that she does not belong in this 00:10:18.78\00:10:23.05 picture. He assumes that if Jesus knows who this woman was, he would have stopped her. 00:10:23.08\00:10:28.82 But friends of mine, the fact is, Jesus did know who she was. Remember, He is omniscient, 00:10:28.86\00:10:35.96 which means he is all-knowing. He knew she was coming to the 00:10:36.00\00:10:40.07 house before she even knocked on the door. Jesus says, "Simon, I have something to tell you." 00:10:40.10\00:10:48.21 Simon responds, "Tell me." "Two men were in debt to a banker. One of the men owed $500. 00:10:48.24\00:10:55.32 The other owed $50. Neither one of the men could pay up. 00:10:55.35\00:10:59.25 And so the banker canceled most of their debts. Which of the two would be more grateful? 00:10:59.29\00:11:06.13 Simon responds. He says, "That is easy. The one who was forgiven the most." 00:11:06.16\00:11:11.60 Jesus says, "You are right." Then turning to the woman, but still speaking to Simon, 00:11:11.63\00:11:18.17 Jesus says, "Seest thou this woman." But wait a minute. Simon is not blind. Simon sees this 00:11:18.21\00:11:28.42 woman. What is Jesus talking about? But here, Jesus know sometimes people can see you and 00:11:28.45\00:11:35.62 still not know you. I don't care if it is your husband. I do not care if it is your wife, your 00:11:35.66\00:11:38.79 son, your daughter. I do not care if it is your mother. I do not care if it is your father. 00:11:38.83\00:11:40.76 I do not care if it is your grandmother, your grandfather. 00:11:40.80\00:11:42.46 Sometimes, people can see you and still not know you. You do not even know who they are. 00:11:42.50\00:11:49.94 You do not even know what they are capable of. The people you think belong in the picture, 00:11:49.97\00:11:55.38 do not, and the people you do not think belong in the picture, do. But the reality friends is, 00:11:55.41\00:11:59.88 when Jesus, everyone can be in the picture because you can act 00:11:59.91\00:12:05.45 holy all you want, but everybody has done something in the past and everybody has done something 00:12:05.49\00:12:10.23 in the dark. So do not you point your finger at somebody else. 00:12:10.26\00:12:13.63 But this man Jesus, he knows me and he loved me when I was 00:12:13.66\00:12:21.27 unlovable. He did not wait until I got right to love me, but he loved me when I would not do 00:12:21.30\00:12:27.48 right. He loved me what I would not act right. He loved me when I would not talk right. 00:12:27.51\00:12:33.05 He loved me when I would not walk right. He stopped the car 00:12:33.08\00:12:37.92 from crashing. He stopped me from dying. He stopped me from being destroyed. And if you will 00:12:37.95\00:12:44.56 praise Him Today, I Will Bless The Lord at all times. And his praise shall continually be in 00:12:44.59\00:12:49.46 my mouth. Jesus says to Simon, "Seest thou this woman. I came 00:12:49.50\00:12:56.71 to your house. You provided no water for my feet, but she rain 00:12:56.74\00:13:00.44 tears on my feet and then she dried them with her hair. You gave me no greeting. But from 00:13:00.48\00:13:05.28 the time I arrived, this woman has not stopped kissing my feet. You provided nothing for me to 00:13:05.31\00:13:10.89 freshen up, but she has soothe my feet with perfume. She has 00:13:10.92\00:13:17.83 many sins but she was forgiven for her many sins and she is grateful. But when the 00:13:17.86\00:13:21.93 forgiveness is minimal, the gratitude is minimal, but when the forgiveness is great, the 00:13:21.96\00:13:26.97 gratitude is great. This lady deserves death. This lady deserves to be stoned. 00:13:27.00\00:13:34.44 This lady understand she should be punishable by death. But 00:13:34.48\00:13:40.85 Jesus says, "Woman, thy sins are forgiven." Not stoned, forgiven. Not killed, forgiven. 00:13:40.88\00:13:50.83 Not punished, forgiven. That is grace. I am not talking about what you say before you eat. 00:13:50.86\00:13:59.43 I am not talking about somebody's name. I am talking about getting what you do not 00:13:59.47\00:14:05.57 deserve. I am talking about God's riches at Christ's 00:14:05.61\00:14:09.58 expense. I am talking about God's unmerited favor. You cannot earn grace, you cannot 00:14:09.61\00:14:15.72 buy grace. Grace is a gift and it is always freely given. We 00:14:15.75\00:14:22.19 are saved by grace and not by our works and that is why the gospel is such good news. 00:14:22.22\00:14:25.26 Because if we had to depend upon our works, none of us would ever 00:14:25.29\00:14:28.50 make it and some of us would ever be sure never be sure if we had done not goody works to save 00:14:28.53\00:14:34.27 ourselves. But today, thank God for God's grace. I do not have to work for my salvation. 00:14:34.30\00:14:42.11 I already have salvation. Jesus already died. 00:14:42.14\00:14:47.95 All I have got to do is live so I may look like I do not belong in the first class. 00:14:47.98\00:14:54.12 I may look like I do not belong in the picture. I may look like I do not belong in the church. 00:14:54.16\00:15:00.56 I may look like I do not belong here, but I am not here because 00:15:00.60\00:15:05.37 of you. But I am here today because of God's grace. I am not what I ought to be. 00:15:05.40\00:15:09.84 I am not what I wish to be. I am not what I hope to be. I am not what I should be but praise God, 00:15:09.87\00:15:17.18 I am not what I used to be. God has given me grace but not just 00:15:17.21\00:15:24.25 grace. He is giving me just enough grace. You see, when I think about just enough grace, 00:15:24.29\00:15:30.19 the Apostle Paul comes to mind. Paul says, "Look, I do not even belong in this picture. 00:15:30.23\00:15:36.67 I think you may think that I am all that and then some, but I am just a sinner saved like you." 00:15:36.70\00:15:43.64 Let me give some background to Paul. 00:15:43.67\00:15:46.01 One of the greatest questions that people have when it comes 00:15:46.04\00:15:49.08 to God is God, why do you allow suffering? Why do bad things happen to good people? 00:15:49.11\00:15:54.35 Reconciling suffering, is hard for many Christians to grapple 00:15:54.38\00:15:58.25 with. For New Testament Christians, suffering was a big 00:15:58.29\00:16:01.99 issue. And when the Corinthian Christians looked at the Apostle Paul, they couldn't 00:16:02.02\00:16:05.66 understand how a true Apostle of Christ can suffer to degree that 00:16:05.69\00:16:10.50 Paul had suffered. For them, Paul was a great man. 00:16:10.53\00:16:12.80 To them, Paul was a good man. But why did Paul have to go through all that Paul went 00:16:12.83\00:16:19.41 through? Paul clears all this up and II Corinthians. In verse 00:16:19.44\00:16:23.55 number 7, he says, "To keep me from becoming conceited. To keep me from getting the big head. 00:16:23.58\00:16:31.85 A thorn was given to me in the flesh. A messenger from Satan was given to Buffett me, to 00:16:31.89\00:16:40.46 harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited." 00:16:40.50\00:16:43.03 This thorn in Paul's flesh was a messenger from Satan that was 00:16:43.06\00:16:49.14 tormenting him. Satan uses trials. He uses sufferings. He uses difficulties to torment us, 00:16:49.17\00:16:55.58 to harass us, to trouble us. This is exactly what we see, friends, in the Book of Job. 00:16:55.61\00:16:59.58 Satan was using suffering to torment Job, so Job would turn his faith away from the Lord. 00:16:59.61\00:17:05.79 But God was not harassing Job. God was not tormenting Paul. 00:17:05.82\00:17:10.19 God has another purpose by which he allow suffering to happen in 00:17:10.23\00:17:14.50 the world. Paul says that for him, this thorn in his flesh was given to him so that he would 00:17:14.56\00:17:22.10 not exalt himself or become conceited. So Paul says three times, "Lord, I have got a thorn 00:17:22.14\00:17:28.08 in my flesh." And he asked the Lord, "Lord, remove this thorn," 00:17:28.11\00:17:32.65 but God says, "I cannot remove the thorn but my grace is sufficient for thee." In other 00:17:32.68\00:17:39.45 words, "I am going to give you just enough grace to endure." Let me tell you church. 00:17:39.49\00:17:44.79 God does not remove the thorns in our lives, but he gives us 00:17:44.83\00:17:51.07 just enough grace because his power is made perfect in our weakness. Let me tell you 00:17:51.10\00:17:55.84 something. God always takes weak people to show his strength because it is those weak people 00:17:55.87\00:18:06.25 who depend on God. During this covid season, 00:18:06.28\00:18:08.72 there are folk all around this country, all across this world on TV, on the internet, radio, 00:18:08.75\00:18:13.52 YouTube, preaching, teaching, singing, having panels under the authority and power of the Holy 00:18:13.56\00:18:21.56 Ghost, and they are anointed. 00:18:21.60\00:18:23.13 Let me remind you. You do not follow them home because if you 00:18:23.16\00:18:28.00 follow them home, you would realize that they too have a thorn. You need to understand 00:18:28.04\00:18:33.81 that everybody on your job, young people, everybody in your class, everybody in your house, 00:18:33.84\00:18:40.08 everybody in your community, everybody in this church has a thorn in their flesh. All of us 00:18:40.12\00:18:46.19 have sinned or come short of the glory of God. I do not care how much Bible you know, 00:18:46.22\00:18:50.56 I do not care how much Spirit of Prophecy you know, 00:18:50.59\00:18:53.29 I do not care how much you can quote to church manual. Everybody in here has a thorn 00:18:53.33\00:18:58.57 and God has allowed to thorn so you can depend on him. 00:18:58.60\00:19:02.87 God allowed you to have a thorn so you would not walk around 00:19:02.90\00:19:08.31 with the big head. Your nose so stuck up in the air that if it 00:19:08.34\00:19:12.35 rained it drowned. Your chest so stuck out that you could not get 00:19:12.38\00:19:15.62 through the door. God allow the thorn so you would remember that it is all about his grace. 00:19:15.65\00:19:21.12 And God hallelujah has given you just enough grace to make it. 00:19:21.16\00:19:26.36 You are not supposed to be in the picture. I am not supposed to be in the picture but 00:19:26.39\00:19:30.97 because of God's grace, I can be in the picture. 00:19:31.00\00:19:34.74 So you better tell somebody who said I cannot be in the picture, who made you my judge 00:19:34.77\00:19:40.84 and jury when if it were not for the grace of God, where would you be? I long for this church. 00:19:40.88\00:19:47.68 The Oakwood Church to be a safe place. I long for this church to 00:19:47.72\00:19:53.52 be a safe house. I long for this church to be a church where we are trying to outgrace of the 00:19:53.56\00:19:59.63 churches. But too often, just like the prostitute in the 00:19:59.66\00:20:04.70 opening story, when people look to the church for grace, too often, they find ungrace. 00:20:04.73\00:20:10.41 You see, grace empowers righteous living, but ungrace disables it. Grace motivates 00:20:10.44\00:20:18.51 obedience because Jesus died on calvary for our sins, 00:20:18.55\00:20:20.95 but ungrace demands obedience under the threat of condemnation if we come up short. 00:20:20.98\00:20:26.96 Grace leads to freedom, victory, and to release. 00:20:26.99\00:20:31.13 But ungrace leads to bondage, oppression, and defeat. 00:20:31.16\00:20:35.03 Grace looks to happiness in Jesus. joy in Jesus and delight 00:20:35.06\00:20:40.90 in Jesus, but ungrace looks to salvation by works. Legalistic legislations and bureaucratic 00:20:40.94\00:20:48.64 bottlenecks. Grace means there is nothing more that we can do to make God love us. Not getting 00:20:48.68\00:20:56.48 more degrees, not studying and setting our Sabbath school lessons more than other people, 00:20:56.52\00:21:00.82 not coming to church earlier than the next person or eating more grillers than anybody else. 00:21:00.86\00:21:06.93 There is nothing we could do to make God love us more. 00:21:06.96\00:21:11.40 The grace also means there is nothing we can do to make God 00:21:11.43\00:21:17.97 love us less. Adultery, God does not love you any less. Alcohol, God doesn't love you any less. 00:21:18.01\00:21:27.08 Deceit, God doesn't love you any less. Divorce, God doesn't love 00:21:27.12\00:21:35.12 you any less. Doubt, God doesn't love you any less. Drugs, God doesn't love you any less. 00:21:35.16\00:21:41.80 Lying, God doesn't love you any less because he loves you when you did not love him. 00:21:41.83\00:21:47.30 He loves you when you were strung up. He loved you when you 00:21:47.34\00:21:51.04 were shooting out. He loves you when you did not want to come to church. He loves you when you 00:21:51.07\00:21:55.48 did not want to pray. He loves you when you did not love yourself. He did not wait till 00:21:55.51\00:22:01.05 you got right to love you. He loved you when you did not do right. He loved me when I was 00:22:01.08\00:22:06.96 not acting right, he loved me when I was not living right and that is why I do not care if 00:22:06.99\00:22:12.23 nobody's in this church, but the media team and the pastors. Because of none of you all will 00:22:12.26\00:22:16.93 praise him at home, I will praise him all by myself, praise him for his grace, praise him in 00:22:16.97\00:22:25.51 the morning, praise him in the new day. Praise him when the sun comes down from the rising of 00:22:25.54\00:22:32.88 the sun to the going down of the same. God is worthy to be 00:22:32.91\00:22:37.59 praised. Let me tell you something. When a person works in eight hour shift, 00:22:37.62\00:22:42.06 and they receive a fair day's pay for their time, that is a 00:22:42.09\00:22:47.56 wage. When a person competes with opponent and receives a trophy for their performance, 00:22:47.60\00:22:53.17 that is a prize. When a person receives appropriate recognition for their long service 00:22:53.20\00:22:59.71 or high achievements, that is an award. But when a person is not capable of earning a wage, 00:22:59.74\00:23:06.95 when a person can win no prize, when a person deserves no award, but they get a gift, anyway, 00:23:06.98\00:23:16.42 that is grace. You are a miracle of grace. I am a miracle of grace. It is a miracle that I am 00:23:16.46\00:23:26.13 here. It is a miracle that you are in your home right now. You 00:23:26.17\00:23:30.44 could be anywhere, you could be locked up right now, you could be dead, you can be suicidal. 00:23:30.47\00:23:35.51 You can be crazy, you slept around and fooled around, you messed around and played around, 00:23:35.54\00:23:41.45 you should have been dead buried in your grave, but praise God 00:23:41.48\00:23:46.29 for his grace and you have got a right to praise him. I have got a right to praise Him. 00:23:46.32\00:23:50.73 Anybody been through what you have been through. You have got a right to praise him. 00:23:50.76\00:23:54.83 Let me tell you. I do not need all you all. People say, how can you preach to an empty church? 00:23:54.83\00:23:59.07 All I need is about two or three people who does not care what 00:23:59.10\00:24:04.57 anybody thinks, who do not care who is looking at you even though you are watching this 00:24:04.61\00:24:08.78 from your house, who do not care what you have on, who do not care what folk are saying about 00:24:08.81\00:24:13.72 you. You are just praising God for his grace. I feel my help 00:24:13.75\00:24:17.39 coming, Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch 00:24:17.42\00:24:22.89 like me. I once was lost but now I am found, was blind. I said was blind, was blind. 00:24:22.92\00:24:30.80 But now I see. Today, I do not know what you need, but I need 00:24:30.83\00:24:38.84 just enough grace. Well-known preacher,A.T. Pearson one said, "However poor a preacher I am, 00:24:38.87\00:24:45.31 I can preach the gospel better than the angel Gabriel can, because Gabriel cannot say what 00:24:45.35\00:24:52.95 I can say. I can say that I am a sinner saved by grace for I am not ashamed of the Gospel of 00:24:52.99\00:25:00.86 Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation. I am alive today because of the 00:25:00.90\00:25:08.67 grace of God. I get to preach today Hallelujah because of the grace of God. I get to eat today 00:25:08.70\00:25:14.78 because of the grace of God. I get to go home and be with my 00:25:14.81\00:25:19.28 family today because of the grace of God. I have got a roof over my head because of the 00:25:19.31\00:25:24.72 grace of God. I get to be a new person today because of the 00:25:24.75\00:25:28.52 grace of God. I get to look at my future and have hope today because of the grace of God. 00:25:28.56\00:25:33.29 I get to walk through tough experiences knowing that God still loves me and has a plan 00:25:33.33\00:25:38.70 for me. Because of the grace of God, I am in the picture today. Because of the grace of God, 00:25:38.73\00:25:43.77 all that I am or ever will be, his father grace the grace of God. Grace woke me up this 00:25:43.81\00:25:51.25 morning. Grace started me on my way. Jesus says to all the Simons out there, "Seest thou 00:25:51.28\00:26:01.22 this woman." Simon, I came into your house. You provided no 00:26:01.26\00:26:06.90 water for my feet, but she rain tears on my feet and she dried them with her hair. You gave me 00:26:06.93\00:26:14.47 no greeting. But from the time I arrived, she has not stopped 00:26:14.50\00:26:18.91 kissing my feet. You provided me with nothing to freshen up with, but she has soothed my feet with 00:26:18.94\00:26:25.01 perfume. She had many sins, but she has been forgiven for her many sins and she is very 00:26:25.05\00:26:31.22 grateful. She deserves death. She deserves to be punished but Jesus says thy sins are 00:26:31.25\00:26:44.00 forgiven.
