(Breath of Life Theme Music) 00:00:01.43\00:00:04.73 Sermon #B639 - Misery Loves Company 00:00:04.77\00:00:20.58 Pastor Byrd: Go to Psalm 57. Psalm 57. And I want to read quickly this psalm to you. Psalm 00:00:20.62\00:00:30.96 57. And I'm going to read from the King James version of the 00:00:30.99\00:00:35.06 Bible, Psalm 57. The word of God says, "Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my 00:00:35.10\00:00:42.80 soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these 00:00:42.84\00:00:48.71 calamities be overpast. " Everybody say, "Overpast."Congregation: 00:00:48.74\00:00:50.75 Overpast "I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me. He 00:00:50.78\00:00:57.12 shall send from heaven, and save me from reproach of him that would swallow me up. God shall 00:00:57.15\00:01:04.53 send forth His mercy and His truth. My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that 00:01:04.56\00:01:10.33 are set on fire, even the sons of men whose teeth are spears and arrows and their tongue a 00:01:10.37\00:01:17.14 sharp sword. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens let thy glory be above all of the earth. 00:01:17.17\00:01:22.28 They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before 00:01:22.31\00:01:29.68 me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves." David says, "My heart is fixed, O God, 00:01:29.72\00:01:36.62 my heart is fixed and I will sing and give praise. Awake up, my glory; awake psaltery and 00:01:36.66\00:01:41.46 harp. I myself will awake early. I will praise thee, O Lord, 00:01:41.50\00:01:45.93 among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations. For thy mercy is great unto the 00:01:45.97\00:01:49.50 heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, 00:01:49.54\00:01:56.68 above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth." Today, I just want to speak with you 00:01:56.71\00:02:02.65 quickly on the subject misery loves company. Misery loves 00:02:02.68\00:02:08.39 company. One of the most dangerous thing to do when you're feeling down, depressed 00:02:08.42\00:02:12.69 and distressed is to hang around other people who are down, distressed and depressed. 00:02:12.73\00:02:19.17 Do I have a witness in this place? Because when you're 00:02:19.20\00:02:22.70 depressed and other people are hanging around you are depressed, everybody's going to 00:02:22.74\00:02:28.51 be depressed. It's dangerous to surround yourself with depressed people because misery loves 00:02:28.54\00:02:36.05 company and they're negative, sad, unhappy, gloomy, cheerless, dismal, despondent, dejected, 00:02:36.08\00:02:45.39 depressed spirit is contagious. For example, in the physical, if you're around sick people long 00:02:45.43\00:02:53.50 enough, you'll start being sick. What am I talking about? You can be in a room where someone who's 00:02:53.54\00:02:59.11 throwing up, who can't keep anything on their stomach and then all of a sudden, you're 00:02:59.14\00:03:05.51 stomach feels bad too. Somebody else can have a cold and then in a couple of minutes, you'll 00:03:05.55\00:03:11.12 start coughing too. That's why everybody's worried about this measles epidemic because when 00:03:11.15\00:03:17.93 you're exposed to sickness, you can get sick. Are you hearing what I'm saying? And just like 00:03:17.96\00:03:23.87 physical sickness is contagious, spiritual, social and emotional sickness is also contagious. 00:03:23.90\00:03:29.60 It's important that you are around people who are positive. 00:03:29.64\00:03:33.34 Everybody say, "Positive."Congre gation: Positive. 00:03:33.38\00:03:34.91 Because if everybody else around you is sick or angry or depressed or miserable, 00:03:34.94\00:03:39.71 it creates a social system of dysfunction where all of a sudden the abnormal appears 00:03:39.75\00:03:48.56 normal. But you don't need to be around negative people. You can do bad by yourself. 00:03:48.59\00:03:53.56 If you're depressed, you don't need to be around depressed 00:03:53.60\00:03:56.83 people. If you're negative, you don't need to be around negative 00:03:56.87\00:04:00.20 people. If you're miserable, you don't need to be around 00:04:00.24\00:04:04.34 miserable people. And as I get older, I'm learning as a parent that it's not only important for 00:04:04.37\00:04:10.65 Danielle and myself to hang around positive influence but it's also important now for me 00:04:10.68\00:04:15.78 that our children hang around positive influences. In fact, I 00:04:15.82\00:04:20.49 would dare to say and suggest that it's very important that you orchestrate the people your 00:04:20.52\00:04:25.69 children hang around. I want my kids to see the bright side of life, not the dark side of life. 00:04:25.73\00:04:30.90 Are you hearing what I'm saying, everybody? Congregation: Yes. 00:04:30.93\00:04:32.67 But then there are devil's advocates who suffer from pity 00:04:32.70\00:04:37.24 parties and misery meetings will say something like doesn't the Bible teach us to mourn with 00:04:37.27\00:04:44.65 those that mourn and bear one another's burdens? But don't misrepresent the word of God. 00:04:44.68\00:04:49.42 Yes, the Bible does say that but to be mourn and to be miserable are two different things. 00:04:49.45\00:04:56.26 Jesus did weep for Lazarus. Jesus did mourn for Lazarus but Jesus didn't become hopeless. 00:04:56.29\00:05:05.00 I wish I had a witness in this place. Because despite his mourning, despite his tears, 00:05:05.03\00:05:11.47 he was still able to say I am the resurrection and the life. Let me tell you something today. 00:05:11.51\00:05:18.51 Even the most spiritual people in the world will face trouble. Even saints will face pain. 00:05:18.55\00:05:26.29 The rain falls on the just and the unjust. Bad things happen to 00:05:26.32\00:05:32.76 good people. Don't believe all this prosperity preaching. Five ways to this. Seven ways to 00:05:32.79\00:05:38.87 that. Yes, God wants us to prosper and do well according to 3 John 2, but John 16:33 also 00:05:38.90\00:05:46.64 says, "In this world, you will have tribulation." Which means you're going to have some 00:05:46.68\00:05:52.38 trials. You're going to have some tests. You will have some tribulations but the good news 00:05:52.41\00:06:01.22 is we will overcome. A lot of people have quit the church. They have quit Jesus thinking 00:06:01.26\00:06:09.23 every day we're be going to crisis-free, cancer free, burden free and trial free and when it 00:06:09.26\00:06:16.71 doesn't happen, they get mad. But you better think again. You got to go through the fire to 00:06:16.74\00:06:22.51 come out as pure of gold. Because it's after I've been beaten, after I've been 00:06:22.54\00:06:30.39 banished, after I've been bruised, after I've been talked about, that's when I really know 00:06:30.42\00:06:36.09 how to praise the Lord. That's when I really know how to worship the Lord. Does anybody 00:06:36.12\00:06:40.06 know what I'm talking about? That's when I really and when I really know how to testify 00:06:40.10\00:06:43.83 because you can't have a testimony without a test. 00:06:43.87\00:06:48.20 The context of our scripture in Psalm 57 is rooted in 1 Samuel 00:06:48.24\00:06:54.78 17:22. In the text, David, everybody say, "David. "Congregation: David. 00:06:54.81\00:06:57.81 Say it like you mean. Say, "David". Congregation: David. 00:06:57.85\00:06:59.81 David is hiding in a cave from King Saul. Why is David hiding? The Bible says that Saul was 00:06:59.85\00:07:09.02 jealous. He is what, everybody? Congregation: Jealous. 00:07:09.06\00:07:11.03 Jealous of David because Saul knew David had been anointed to replace him as king. You know 00:07:11.06\00:07:16.60 the story. David, little shepherd boy, takes out the giant gladiating soldier Goliath 00:07:16.63\00:07:25.04 with a small rock, and some, a one smooth stone. David was willing to boldly step out in 00:07:25.07\00:07:31.91 faith to fight Goliath in defense of God's honor when nobody else would. That's a 00:07:31.95\00:07:36.95 whole another sermon. After defeating Goliath, David becomes well-known for his military 00:07:36.99\00:07:45.29 prowess. As a result, Saul gets jealous. He gets what, everybody? Saul becomes angry 00:07:45.33\00:07:49.46 because David is getting higher praise from the women singing Saul has slained his thousands 00:07:49.50\00:07:54.10 but David his ten, what everybody? Congregation: 00:07:54.14\00:07:57.14 [inaudible] 1 Number 18 says from that point on, Saul eyed David and kept trying to kill 00:07:57.17\00:08:05.68 him from that time on. In fact, even though David was Saul's son, Jonathan's best friend, 00:08:05.71\00:08:12.52 Saul sent David out into battle multiple times hoping he would be killed. But you know what? 00:08:12.55\00:08:20.83 It didn't happen. Saul even offered his daughter's hand in marriage to David if he 00:08:20.86\00:08:27.10 brought him 100 Philistine foreskins. Saul did this thinking David would be 00:08:27.14\00:08:34.01 killed in the front line of battle. But not only was David 00:08:34.04\00:08:38.81 not killed, but David returned with 200 Philistine foreskins. You all now hear what I'm 00:08:38.85\00:08:44.55 saying? Let that be a lesson for somebody today. 00:08:44.59\00:08:47.59 When the Lord has his hands on you, no devil in hell can stop you. The battle is not yours. 00:08:47.62\00:08:55.63 The battle is the Lord's. I wish I had a witness in this place. 00:08:55.66\00:08:58.27 The Bible is clear that David had been chosen by God. David had been blessed by God 00:08:58.30\00:09:05.47 and when God blesses you, no devil in hell can curse you. So then Psalm 18:20 ends by saying 00:09:05.51\00:09:13.85 then the commanders of the Philistines came out to battle as often as they went forth. 00:09:13.88\00:09:20.39 David had more success than all the servants of Saul so his name was highly esteemed. 00:09:20.42\00:09:26.39 If you back it up in verse 29 it says, and Saul was yet the more 00:09:26.43\00:09:34.54 afraid of David. And Saul became David's enemy continually. I like the way the New 00:09:34.57\00:09:42.11 International Version puts it. It says that David remains Saul's enemy for the rest of his 00:09:42.14\00:09:51.42 days. Think about it, you all. David was Saul's son Jonathan's best friend. Saul's daughter 00:09:51.45\00:10:05.77 loved David. But let's go back to the first family. Cain was Abel's brother. The stranger 00:10:05.80\00:10:14.58 or the outsider who may make us feel jealous comes and goes. But the family member, the friend, 00:10:14.61\00:10:27.46 the co-worker, they are there month after month, week after week, day after day 00:10:27.49\00:10:38.67 but the people who can't stand to see the success of others will never experience their own. 00:10:38.70\00:10:46.34 So instead of building up Israel, Saul wasted most of his time chasing David through the 00:10:46.37\00:10:55.88 hills. And it's in Psalm 57 that David escapes from Saul and is hiding from Saul in a cave. 00:10:55.92\00:11:06.09 The Cave of Adullam. Now, when David's brothers and those of his house heard where David was, 00:11:06.13\00:11:13.50 the Bible says that they also went to the cave. The Bible says that they were 400. 00:11:13.54\00:11:19.37 How many men, everybody? Congreg ation: 400 00:11:19.41\00:11:21.31 400 other men in the cave. The Bible says that everyone who 00:11:21.34\00:11:26.68 joined David, the Bible says in 1 Samuel 2, was in debt and bitter of soul. Meaning 00:11:26.72\00:11:34.92 everybody was displeased. Everybody was distressed. Everybody was disgruntled and 00:11:34.96\00:11:40.60 depressed and out of the 400 men who joined David in the cave, none of them brought comfort. 00:11:40.63\00:11:49.30 But the good news, the good news is no matter what cave you're 00:11:49.34\00:11:57.98 in, God is going to bring us out. Congregation: [cheering and 00:11:58.01\00:12:02.48 applause] That this cave is not meant to last forever. The cave is just for a season in your 00:12:02.52\00:12:13.96 life because it was only for a season in David's life. What am 00:12:14.00\00:12:19.17 I talking about? The men are miserable in the cave and they're looking to David for 00:12:19.20\00:12:25.04 help and they want David to come up with a solution. So David then fast forward to Psalm 57, 00:12:25.07\00:12:31.91 he says in verse number one, "Be merciful unto me, O God. Be merciful unto me for my soul 00:12:31.95\00:12:40.99 trusteth in thee. In the shadow of thy wings will I make refuge until these calamities be 00:12:41.02\00:12:48.96 overpast. " Let me read the last part of that text because that's when we should have shouted it. 00:12:49.00\00:12:53.84 It says, "Until these calamities be overpast." The New International Version says, 00:12:53.87\00:13:02.81 "Until the disaster has passed." In other words, the calamities, the trouble, the cave has not 00:13:02.84\00:13:16.36 come to last. This too shall pass. The cave in your life, I'm preaching to somebody right now, 00:13:16.39\00:13:28.60 has not come to last. When you are a child of God, trouble does come to an end. Troubles don't 00:13:28.64\00:13:37.28 last always. Weeping may have done for a night but joy comes 00:13:37.31\00:13:43.82 in the morning. David says in the text that he would take refuge in the shadow of God's 00:13:43.85\00:13:49.32 wings. Refuge means shelter or protection from danger and distress. David made God his 00:13:49.36\00:13:56.33 refuge. He made God his shelter, his protection until these calamities, this cave be 00:13:56.36\00:14:04.51 overpast. In other words, David said God, have mercy on me until these calamities are past. Cover 00:14:04.54\00:14:13.68 me until these calamities are past. Stand with me until these calamities are past. In the name 00:14:13.72\00:14:19.89 of Jesus. I can tell somebody today that the storm is passing over. That God wouldn't take you 00:14:19.92\00:14:30.20 to it unless it's God to bring you through it. Number one, the cave doesn't last forever. 00:14:30.23\00:14:38.97 Number two, verse 2 brings out the second thing we ought to do when we're in our cave. 00:14:39.01\00:14:45.48 David says in verse 2, "Cry unto God the most high." Sometimes when you're in your secret 00:14:45.51\00:14:57.29 closet, when you're in your cave, people will think you're crazy but you got to just cry 00:14:57.33\00:15:04.77 out unto God. I figure that story of Peter walking on water and Peter took his eyes off 00:15:04.80\00:15:12.07 Jesus and the Bible says Peter beginning to sink which means he didn't sink, he didn't drown, 00:15:12.11\00:15:18.08 he didn't go under. The Bible says beginning to sink. He cries out to the Lord, "Lord, save 00:15:18.11\00:15:26.79 me." That was his prayer, "Lord, save me." Three simple words which reminds us it's not about 00:15:26.82\00:15:34.83 the length of your prayer but it's the strength of your prayer. Some people think you 00:15:34.86\00:15:39.70 got to pray this long, big sermonized words. Sermons to get God's attention. But I'm a 00:15:39.73\00:15:45.64 witness, when you are about to lose your mind, when you are in Aeolians on a bus trying to get 00:15:45.67\00:15:53.92 to the hotel and somebody hits that bus and fire breaks out, when you're between a rock and a 00:15:53.95\00:16:01.22 hard place, when you're in a cave, all you have time for is 00:16:01.26\00:16:07.36 Lord, save me. All you have time for is I'm crying out to God. 00:16:07.40\00:16:12.10 David remembered what God had done for him. David remembered how he was feeding sheep 00:16:12.13\00:16:19.17 and tending there to those sheep and a bear and a lion came to devour him. But God protected 00:16:19.21\00:16:26.28 him. David remembered how Goliath could have killed him but God protected him. 00:16:26.31\00:16:32.05 David remembered how Saul had tried to kill him before but God 00:16:32.09\00:16:38.83 protected him. In your cave, don't you forget where your help comes from. Not only that, 00:16:38.86\00:16:52.24 number three, in your cave, and we got people all around you in your cave. You got to learn how 00:16:52.27\00:17:00.15 to expect victory. Verse three says he shall send from heaven and he shall save me from the 00:17:00.18\00:17:07.29 reproach of him that would swallow me up. But can I tell you what I really love about 00:17:07.32\00:17:12.63 this? Pastor you were talking about faith earlier. Can I say what I love about his text? 00:17:12.66\00:17:21.87 David expected God to deliver him. David expected victory. Are you all hearing what I'm saying? 00:17:21.90\00:17:29.74 That's what I love about the three Hebrew boys. We know God can deliver us but if not, we 00:17:29.78\00:17:41.02 still going to worship him. David expected God to deliver to him. If we expect victory, we 00:17:41.06\00:17:53.47 will get victory. David expected victory over this cave and if you're going to be delivered 00:17:53.50\00:18:01.38 from your cave, then you got to have an expectation for deliverance. When you're down 00:18:01.41\00:18:07.02 here at the front, at the altar, don't just come out here because you want to be seen but you need 00:18:07.05\00:18:14.06 to come down here with an expectation for deliverance. Are you hearing what I'm saying? I 00:18:14.09\00:18:24.50 don't know about you but I'm looking for a miracle. I'm expecting the impossible. I see 00:18:24.53\00:18:34.61 the invisible. I can feel the intangible. You've got to learn how to expect deliverance. David 00:18:34.64\00:18:39.25 knew what God was willing and able to deliver him out of the caves of life. Regardless of 00:18:39.28\00:18:46.45 what his circumstances look like, David knew that God would send forth his mercy and his 00:18:46.49\00:18:49.96 truth. What is his truth? His word. And once you know the truth of who God is and what He 00:18:49.99\00:18:57.53 had said and His word and the truth will then set you free. And you shall know the truth and 00:18:57.57\00:19:03.67 the truth shall set you free. Sanctify them through thy truth, thy word is true. Thy word is a 00:19:03.71\00:19:11.25 lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Thy word that I've hidden in my heart that I might 00:19:11.28\00:19:17.52 not sin against thee. David in Psalm 57 admitted that he was discouraged. He says in verse 00:19:17.55\00:19:25.69 six if you look at it. I've got to skip. He says, he was bowed down because his enemies have 00:19:25.73\00:19:33.03 prepared a net for his feet and they had dug a pit for him. But in the midst of that pit, what 00:19:33.07\00:19:39.84 happens? The Bible says they fall in it themselves. Don't you ever forget, I tell myself this 00:19:39.87\00:19:44.58 every day because I realized, everybody does not joy in my success. Congregation: Yeah. I 00:19:44.61\00:19:48.02 get that. Pastor Elder Taylor talking about we're going to renovate the church. There are 00:19:48.05\00:19:51.55 some people plotting and hoping that we don't renovate the church because they think that 00:19:51.59\00:19:55.02 buddy Byrd thinks it's for his glory but it's not for my glory. It's for His glory. But I have 00:19:55.06\00:20:04.77 learned. Don't ever forget. I'm preaching to myself now, that when God is on your side, people 00:20:04.80\00:20:11.91 can dig ditches for you if they want, people can set traps for you if they want, but I read 00:20:11.94\00:20:19.81 somewhere that no weapon formed against us is going to prosper. The same ditches that people set 00:20:19.85\00:20:27.96 for you, the same traps that people set for you, the same gallows that people prepare for 00:20:27.99\00:20:37.80 you are the same ditches, traps, and gallows that they all fall in themselves. If you don't 00:20:37.83\00:20:46.44 believe me ask Haman. The same gallows that Haman prepared for Mordecai were the same gallows 00:20:46.47\00:20:55.75 that Haman hung on himself. Be not deceived. God is not mocked. Whatsoever man soweth, that 00:20:55.78\00:21:05.53 shall he also reap. David fully expected God to set him free 00:21:05.56\00:21:15.57 from his cave. So when you're in your cave, expect victory. Congregation: [cheering and 00:21:15.60\00:21:23.45 applause] One more thing. One point. When you're in your cave, number four, you got to praise 00:21:23.48\00:21:32.59 God. Congregation: [cheering] Hallelujah! 00:21:32.62\00:21:36.02 Now notice. I didn't say after you get out of the cave. 00:21:36.06\00:21:41.20 Congregation: No. I said while you're in your cave. You got to learn how to praise him. Don't 00:21:41.23\00:21:51.01 wait till the battle is over. Go on and to shout now. Congregation: [cheeing] 00:21:51.04\00:21:55.01 God didn't only say that you are to praise him when you come out. 00:21:55.04\00:22:01.25 But he says if you're going to be truly victorious, you got to praise him while you're in the 00:22:01.28\00:22:10.06 cave. And then you got to praise him out of your cave. In his cave, verse seven David said, 00:22:10.09\00:22:17.17 'My heart is fixed. I will sing and I will give praise." In verse nine he says, 00:22:17.20\00:22:25.57 "I will praise thee, O Lord. I will sing unto thee among the 00:22:25.61\00:22:31.68 nations. Be thou exalted, O God above the heavens. Let thy glory be above all the earth." 00:22:31.71\00:22:38.79 Now, let's be honest. Praise to God in the midst of a cave experience is not an easy thing. 00:22:38.82\00:22:48.66 Congregation: Amen. 00:22:48.70\00:22:50.60 Can we be real? I know it's nice. I'm up here preaching praise God while you're in a 00:22:50.63\00:22:53.94 cave and everybody shouting and jumping but let's be honest. It's hard to praise God when 00:22:53.97\00:23:01.14 you're going through it. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? Congregation: Yeah. 00:23:01.18\00:23:05.05 But the text still says you can't wait to get out of your cave to praise him. 00:23:05.08\00:23:12.32 But you got to still praise him while you're in your cave. So the text says David said to the 00:23:12.35\00:23:21.90 brothers around him, "Wake up. Give me my psaltery. Give me my heart. And all you miserable 00:23:21.93\00:23:32.24 people up in here, get up and praise God in the midst of your cave." If God, I've been, he 00:23:32.27\00:23:41.78 said, "I've been in this pity party too long. If God wants Saul to get me, so be it. 00:23:41.82\00:23:50.93 If God wants my enemies to defeat me, so be it. But the God I serve is not like that. 00:23:50.96\00:24:01.67 " Because God told me, some time ago. David said God told me 00:24:01.70\00:24:06.41 before I got in the cave that the Lord is my light, my salvation. Who shall I fear? 00:24:06.44\00:24:16.55 The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? So in the name of Jesus, 00:24:16.58\00:24:25.03 I don't know what your situation is today, I don't know what your cave circumstance is today 00:24:25.06\00:24:33.13 but I do know this, God will pick you up, he will turn you around, he will place your feet 00:24:33.17\00:24:44.41 on solid ground. You better learn how to praise Him in your cave. Praise Him while you're 00:24:44.45\00:24:50.59 bankrupt. Praise Him while you're on your sickbed. Praise Him while you're going through 00:24:50.62\00:24:56.46 chemotherapy. Praise Him while your children are acting up. Praise ye the Lord. Praise God 00:24:56.49\00:25:04.70 in a sanctuary. Praise Him in the firmament of his power. You better praise Him for His mighty 00:25:04.73\00:25:09.50 acts. Praise Him according to his excellent greatness. Praise Him with a sound of the trumpet 00:25:09.54\00:25:14.94 and the timbrel and the dance and string instruments and organs and the psaltery and the 00:25:14.98\00:25:20.12 harp. Praise Him with a loud cymbal, the high sounding cymbal. Let everything that have 00:25:20.15\00:25:31.56 breath praise the Lord. Congregation: Hallelujah! 00:25:31.59\00:25:32.99 I'm getting ready to sit down but let me tell you this. 00:25:33.03\00:25:35.66 Only God can turn a shepherd boy into a king. 00:25:35.70\00:25:44.51 Only God can make a donkey talk. Only God can make the sun stand 00:25:44.54\00:25:56.79 still. Only God can make a red sea a dry highway. Only God can shut lions' mouths. 00:25:56.82\00:26:08.40 Only God can turn water into wedding punch. Only God can make 00:26:08.43\00:26:17.47 a blind man see. Only God can raise from the dead. Only God can take a failure and make him 00:26:17.51\00:26:27.52 a success. Only God can take a loser and make him a winner. Only God can take a negative and 00:26:27.55\00:26:37.19 make it a positive. And it's only God that can get you out of your cave. If you don't get 00:26:37.23\00:26:48.60 anything else, get this. Today, if you're in a cave experience, your cave experience will pass. 00:26:48.64\00:26:59.61 Number two, if you're in a cave experience, you got to learn how to cry out to God. Number three, 00:26:59.65\00:27:07.29 if you're n a cave experience, you got to learn while in your cave to expect deliverance. 00:27:07.32\00:27:16.40 And then number four, when you're in your cave, you got to go on and praise Him while 00:27:16.43\00:27:27.14 you're in the cave. Misery loves company. And David in that cave, because everybody else was 00:27:27.18\00:27:36.15 miserable could have been miserable too.
