00:06 Sermon #B637 - John Saw You 00:21 Byrd: Revelation 7:9. 00:28 The Word of God says, "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude," [Congregation: Yes.] 00:38 "which no man could number." 00:42 "of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before 00:46 the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 00:53 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God- 00:58 "-which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the 01:05 throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, 01:08 and worshipped God, Saying, Amen. Blessing, and glory, and 01:14 wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. 01:21 Amen." "And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in 01:30 white robes and whence came they?" "And I said unto him, 01:35 Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and 01:41 have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they 01:47 before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on 01:56 the throne shall dwell among them." "They shall hunger no more, neither shall they thirst 02:05 anymore; neither shall the sun light on them, nor on any heat. For the Lamb which is in the 02:13 midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and 02:27 God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes." Today, I just want to challenge you in the 02:37 subject, "John saw you." [Congregation: Yes. Amen [applause] Bless us now, God. As 02:44 we go into your word, make it come alive and make it real and applicable for our lives. 02:53 Forgive me of my sins. And may your people see thee and not me. When the appeal is made, moved 03:01 by your power. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. [Congregation: 03:07 Hallelujah.] I don't know about you, but out of all the five senses: touch, taste, smell, 03:20 hearing, and sight. My sight is most important to me. You see, with our touch, we can feel. 03:29 But if I couldn't touch, I would be all right, because I would just keep my hands to myself. 03:36 [Congregation: Laughing.] 03:38 We taste with our tongue. But if I couldn't taste, I would still 03:45 be all right because at least I could still eat. 03:49 We smell with our nose. [Congregation: Yes. Yes.] 03:53 But if I couldn't smell that too would be all right, 03:55 because although I wouldn't be able to smell good stuff, praise 03:59 God, I wouldn't be able to smell bad stuff. [Congregation: Yes. 04:03 Yes.] We hear with our ears. But if I couldn't hear, I would still be all right, 04:09 because I would be able to communicate through a nod, through a smile, through a 04:13 frown, or through sign language. But we see with our eyes. 04:22 And my eyes are most important to me because there's nothing I can substitute for my sight. 04:32 But more important than my sight is John's sight. And what John |
