00:14 ♪ he's worthy ♪ ♪ worthy of all... ♪ 00:20 ♪ all the praise ♪ Our world in which we 00:25 live is sick. 00:26 This is not what God intended for His people. 00:30 [Aud. reaction] PB: If anybody's sick, 00:33 if you're like me you call a doctor. 00:35 And so I call on Jesus. 00:40 Because we live in a sick world and my Bible says that one day 00:43 Dr. Jesus is going to come back. 00:47 His kingdom is going to come in its fullness. 00:49 He's coming back to this earth to get His people. 00:53 The first time He came, He came to save His people. 00:58 The second time He comes, He's coming to get his people. 01:01 Let not your heart be troubled. 01:03 Do you believe in God? 01:04 Believe also in Me. 01:06 In My Father's House there are many mansions. 01:09 If it were not so, I would have told you. 01:11 I'm going to go and prepare a place for you, and if I go 01:13 and prepare a place for you. 01:14 I will come again and receive you unto Myself, that where 01:16 I am, there ye may be also. 01:22 This is what Christianity and the Christian life 01:24 is all about, looking forward to Jesus' second coming. 01:26 This is what we all should be looking for, because eyes 01:29 have not seen neither ears heard the things that God 01:31 has prepared for them that love Him. 01:33 So, Jesus is coming back the second time. 01:35 [Aud. reaction] PB: The first time, He came 01:37 to save His people. 01:38 The second time, He's coming to get His people. 01:40 So He's coming back to get us and we're looking forward 01:43 to His coming back, but when is He coming back? 01:46 We've got a lot of folk in the United States who 01:50 are being deceived by Satan. 01:52 Not only in the U.S. 01:54 but abroad, people deceived by Satan giving a time line 01:56 of when Jesus is going to come back. 01:59 But when does the Bible say He's going to come back? 02:01 This is a Bible revival. 02:02 Let's go to the Word of God, the book of Matthew. 02:05 What book did I say, everybody? 02:07 Aud.: Matthew. 02:08 PB: Let's go to the book of Matthew. 02:10 The Word of God says to us in Matthew, chapter 24, 02:12 verse number 36, when is Jesus coming. 02:14 The Word of God says to us tonight in Matthew, 02:17 chapter 24, and verse number 36, "But of that day and hour 02:21 knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, 02:24 but my Father" what, everybody? 02:25 Aud.: Only. 02:26 PB: "Only. 02:27 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming 02:29 of the Son of man be." 02:31 Verse 38, "For as in the days that were before the flood 02:33 they were eating and drinking." 02:34 Eating and what, everybody? 02:35 Aud.: Drinking. 02:36 PB: Marrying and giving in" what, everybody? 02:39 Aud.: Marriage. 02:40 PB: "Marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 02:42 and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; 02:45 so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." 02:47 We don't know when Jesus is coming. 02:49 All we know is that He's coming real soon. 02:52 The Bible goes on in verse 42, "Watch, therefore: 02:54 for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come." 02:56 Verse 44, "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour 02:59 as ye think not the Son of Man cometh." 03:03 That means Jesus' second coming is soon. 03:05 But we don't know specifically when He is coming, 03:08 we just know He's coming. 03:09 So, if we don't know when He's coming, what are the signs 03:12 of His coming? 03:15 Let's get some more Word. 03:16 Go to Matthew 24, go to verse number 3. 03:18 What are the signs? 03:19 We know He's coming, we want Him to come, He's coming 03:21 to save His people. 03:23 What are the signs of His coming? 03:25 The Word of God is very clear to us tonight in Matthew 03:27 chapter 24, verse number 3. 03:28 The Word says, " And as he sat upon the mount 03:31 of Olives," the mount of what, 03:33 everybody? 03:34 Aud.: Olives. 03:35 PB: The disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, 03:37 when shall these things be? 03:38 and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end 03:40 of the" what, everybody? 03:41 Aud.: World. 03:42 PB: "Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no 03:44 man deceive you. 03:45 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; 03:47 and shall deceive many. 03:48 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye 03:50 be not troubled: for all these things must come 03:52 to pass, but the end is not" what, everybody? 03:54 Aud.: Yet. 03:55 PB: All right. 03:56 The signs. 03:57 Nation shall rise against nation." 03:59 We've got that going on right now. 04:01 "Kingdom against kingdom." 04:02 We've got that going on right now. 04:04 "And there shall be famines." 04:05 We have that going on right now. 04:07 "Pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 04:09 All these are the beginning of sorrows." 04:12 Verse number 9 in the Word continues, "Then shall they 04:14 deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: 04:16 and ye shall be hated of all nations 04:18 for my name's sake. 04:19 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, 04:22 and shall hate one another. 04:23 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 04:25 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many 04:27 shall wax cold. 04:28 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be" 04:33 what, everybody? 04:34 Aud.: Saved. 04:35 PB: But comes, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached 04:41 in all the world for a witness unto all nations; 04:44 and then shall the end" what, everybody? 04:46 Aud.: Come. 04:47 PB: So we don't know when He's coming, 04:49 but we know the signs. 04:50 Wars and rumors of wars. 04:51 Nations against nations, kingdoms against kingdoms, 04:54 deception will be rampant. 04:56 All of these things will take place in different places. 04:59 Many false prophets shall arise. 05:02 Iniquity then shall abound so the love of many shall 05:06 wax cold. 05:07 But God says you've got to endure to the end. 05:10 We don't know when He's coming, but we know 05:12 He's coming soon. 05:13 We see the signs of His coming, but since we don't know 05:15 when He's coming we just have to be ready every minute 05:18 of the hour for His soon return. 05:20 Now, quickly, how will Jesus return? 05:22 Go with me to the book of Acts. 05:23 What book, everybody? 05:24 Aud.: Acts. 05:25 PB: Come on, what book, everybody? 05:27 Aud.: Acts. 05:28 PB: Acts, chapter 1. 05:29 Quickly, how will Jesus return? 05:30 The Word of God speaks to us in Acts, chapter 1, 05:32 and we're going to verse number 9. Acts chapter 1, 05:35 and we're going to verse number 9. 05:37 The Word of God says to us in Acts chapter 1 verse 9, 05:40 "And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, 05:43 he was taken" where? 05:44 Aud.: Up. 05:45 PB: Come on, He was taken where? 05:47 "Up; and a cloud received him out of their" what? 05:49 Aud.: Sight. 05:50 PB: "And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven 05:52 as he went up, behold," how many men? 05:54 Aud.: Two. 05:55 PB: "Stood by them" in what? 05:56 Aud.: White. 05:57 PB: "Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand 05:59 ye gazing up into heaven? 06:00 this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, 06:02 shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him" 06:04 what, everybody? 06:05 Aud.: Go into heaven. 06:06 PB: "As ye have seen him" what, everybody? 06:08 Aud.: Go. 06:09 PB: Go into heaven, which means then, Jesus, after He 06:11 was crucified. 06:14 After He died on Calvary's tree. 06:17 After He got up, when He ascended back to heaven, 06:22 He ascended back up in the air. 06:25 The Bible says that two angels told the people of God, 06:30 the same way He left is the same way He's coming back. 06:36 Which means then, if He left in the air, He's coming back 06:43 in the air, so if someone tells you I see Jesus walking 06:46 around in Huntsville, Alabama, you know that's a lie 06:50 from the pits of hell. 06:52 Because the say way Jesus left is the same way Jesus 06:56 is coming back. 06:57 Do I have a witness in this place? 07:00 [Aud. reaction] PB: So we know He's coming soon 07:03 to get His people. 07:04 We know the signs of how He's coming. 07:06 We know He left in the clouds, which means He's coming back 07:10 in the what? 07:11 Clouds. 07:12 Go to Revelation, chapter 1, verse number 7. 07:15 Let's get some Word. 07:17 I don't think preaching should just be decibel 07:19 levels. 07:20 If you're going to holler, say something worth hollering 07:22 about. 07:23 [Aud. reaction] PB: We've got too much 07:25 preaching and all this hollering and screaming, and we jump, 07:28 shout and scream. 07:29 When we get out of church, we don't know what we've jumped, 07:32 shouted and screamed about. 07:33 You've got to know what's in the Word, know what you 07:35 believe, know why you believe it, and know where it's found. 07:37 Are you hearing what I'm saying? 07:39 Time is over for cotton candy preaching, big and sweet 07:41 on the outside but hollow and empty on the inside. 07:44 Let's know what the Word of God says for ourselves. 07:47 The Bible says in Revelation, chapter 1, verse number 7. 07:51 If you have it, let me hear you say amen. 07:53 Aud.: Amen. 07:54 PB: The Word of God says in Revelation, chapter 1 07:56 and verse number 7, "Behold, he cometh with" what? 07:59 Aud.: Clouds. 08:00 PB: "And every" what? 08:01 Aud.: Eye. 08:02 PB: "Shall" what? 08:03 Aud.: See him. 08:04 PB: "And they also which" what? 08:06 Aud.: Pierced him. 08:07 PB: "And all kindreds of the earth shall wail because 08:09 of him. 08:10 Even so," what, everybody? 08:11 Aud.: Amen. 08:12 PB: Even the Bible has some soul. 08:15 Come on, say amen. 08:17 Aud.: Amen. 08:18 PB: Every living eye is going to see Him. 08:21 Which means, when Jesus comes back it will not be a secret 08:26 rapture. 08:27 [Aud. reaction] PB: When Jesus comes back 08:32 people in Huntsville are going to see Him the same 08:36 time people in Atlanta see Him. 08:40 People in Atlanta that see Him are going to see Him 08:43 at the same time people in New York are going 08:48 to see Him. 08:49 People in New York are going to see Him at the same time 08:51 people in Los Angeles are going to see Him. 08:53 The people in Los Angeles are going to see Him at the same 08:56 time people in London are going to see Him. 08:59 People in London are going to see Him at the same time 09:01 people in Paris are going to see Him. 09:04 People in Paris are going to see Him at the same time 09:07 people in Jamaica are going to see Him. 09:10 People in Jamaica are going to see Him at the same time 09:13 people in Trinidad and Tobago are going to see Him. 09:17 People in Trinidad and Tobago are going to see Him 09:22 at the same time people in Africa are going 09:26 to see Him. 09:27 The people in Africa are going to see Him at the same time 09:33 the people in Asia are going to see Him, because every living 09:38 eye is going to see Him, and we're going to see Him 09:43 at the same time. 09:45 [Aud. reaction] PB: So He's coming back 09:48 to get His people. 09:50 We don't know when He's coming but we know He's 09:54 coming soon. 09:55 Signs, wars, rumors of wars, kingdoms against kingdoms, 09:58 deception is rampant, the love of many is going to wax cold. 10:04 We don't know when, but we've got the signs. 10:06 And we're living in the signs right now. 10:11 The same way He left this earth is the same way He's coming back 10:16 to this earth. 10:18 He left in a cloud, He's coming back in a cloud. 10:24 When He comes back, every eye is going to see Him. 10:34 Now, if every eye is going to see Him, what are the groups 10:38 of people that will be present for His second coming? 10:45 He's coming to save us, every eye is going to see Him, 10:48 but who will compose these eyes? 10:52 Go to 1 Thessalonians, chapter 4, verse number 16. 10:58 Know what you believe, know why you believe it, know 11:05 where it's found. 11:07 First Thessalonians, chapter 4, verse number 16. 11:11 First Thessalonians, chapter 4, and verse number 16. 11:16 The Word of God says, "For the Lord himself shall 11:21 descend from heaven with a" what, everybody? 11:24 Aud.: Shout. 11:25 PB: Come on, say it like you mean it. 11:27 Shall descend from heaven with a what, everybody? 11:30 Aud.: Shout! 11:31 PB: "With the voice of the archangel, 11:33 and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ 11:37 shall rise first." 11:38 Now, I'm not ashamed of the gospel, 11:40 I'm going to preach it like the Word of God says. 11:44 The dead in Christ are going to rise first, which means 11:49 then at Jesus' second coming the righteous dead at that time 11:54 are going to rise first. 11:57 Now keep reading, verse number 17, I believe it says, 11:59 "Then we which are alive and" what? 12:04 "Remain shall be caught up together with them in the" 12:06 what? 12:07 Aud.: Clouds. 12:08 PB: "To meet the Lord in the" what? 12:10 Aud.: Air. 12:11 PB: "And so shall we ever be with the" whom, everybody? 12:13 Aud.: Lord. 12:14 PB: Which means then, those persons who are righteous 12:16 and alive at Jesus' second coming, after the dead 12:19 in Christ rise first they are then going to be caught 12:23 up to meet the Lord in the air. 12:24 [Aud. reaction] PB: That makes sense. 12:27 Why would Jesus come down and get them 12:30 off this earth physically? 12:31 They've got to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air 12:33 because we just read that He's coming back the same way 12:36 He left, in the air, which means the righteous must be caught up 12:39 to meet Him in the air. 12:41 Group number one, the righteous dead. 12:45 They died. 12:46 Righteous dead, rise what? 12:48 Aud.: First. 12:49 PB: First. 12:50 Come on, righteous dead rise what? 12:52 Aud.: First. 12:53 PB: Group number two, the righteous living, are caught 12:56 up to meet the Lord in the what? 12:58 Aud.: Air. 12:59 PB: Group number three. 13:00 Go to 2 Thessalonians, get some Word in you. 13:03 Teach you, then preach you. 13:08 Second Thessalonians, chapter 2, verse number 8. 13:14 Second Thessalonians, chapter 2, verse number 8, 13:17 the Word of God says to us, "And then shall that Wicked 13:20 be revealed," saith the Lord, "whom the Lord shall consume 13:24 with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy 13:27 with the brightness of his" what? Aud.: Coming. 13:30 PB: "Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan 13:32 with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all 13:34 deceivableness of unrighteousness in them 13:36 that perish; because they received not 13:38 the love of the truth, that they might be" what? 13:40 Aud.: Saved. 13:41 PB: "And for this cause God shall send them strong 13:43 delusion, that they should believe a" what, everybody? 13:45 Aud.: Lie. 13:46 PB: "That they all might be damned who believed not 13:48 the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 13:52 Who enjoy sin. 13:55 Who have joy and happiness, pleasure in unrighteousness. 14:00 Pastor Byrd: Group number three, the wicked or the unrighteous 14:03 living, will die at the brightness of God's 14:06 coming. 14:07 So, group number one, the righteous dead, they shall 14:09 rise what? 14:10 Aud.: First. 14:11 PB: Group number two, the righteous living, are caught 14:14 up to meet the Lord in the what? 14:16 Aud.: Air. 14:17 PB: Group number three, the wicked living, die 14:19 at the brightness of his what? 14:20 Aud.: Coming. 14:21 PB: Group number four. 14:22 Go to Revelation, chapter 20, verse number 5. 14:25 Revelation, chapter 20, verse, number 5. 14:28 Revelation, chapter 20, verse number 5. 14:31 If you have it, let me hear you say amen. 14:35 Aud.: Amen. 14:36 PB: The Word says, "But the rest of the dead lived not again 14:41 until the thousand years were" what? 14:45 Aud.: Finished. 14:46 PB: "This is the first resurrection." 14:48 We're going to talk about that tomorrow night. 14:50 Now, the Bible then says, the rest of the dead, which are 14:52 the wicked dead because they're dead at Christ's 14:54 second coming, they remain dead. 15:00 The righteous dead rise first. 15:04 The righteous living are caught up to meet the Lord in the air. 15:10 The Bible says that the wicked living die 15:13 at the brightness of His coming. 15:16 The Bible says that the wicked dead remain what, everybody? 15:21 Aud.: Dead. 15:22 PB: Which means then, at Jesus' second coming I've got 15:27 to be a part of either group one or group two, are you 15:32 hearing what I'm saying? 15:33 [Aud. reaction] PB: If I die on this earth 15:35 in the Lord, I've got to be a part of the group that rises, 15:39 what? 15:40 Aud.: First. 15:41 PB: If I'm alive at Jesus' second coming, I've got to be 15:44 a part of the group that is what, caught what? 15:46 To meet the Lord in the what? 15:48 Aud.: Air. 15:49 PB: And I'm not going to be looking around, seeing 15:51 who ain't rising. 15:52 [Aud. reaction] PB: Did he get up? 15:59 Did she get up? 16:00 No, no, no. 16:01 Three things, when you get to heaven. 16:03 Those you thought wouldn't be there will be there. 16:06 [Aud. reaction] PB: Those you thought wouldn't 16:09 be there will be there, and if you're like me, 16:13 Lord, thank You that I'm there. 16:16 Now, let's be clear. 16:18 We teach you, now I'm getting to preach you. 16:23 My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge because 16:25 thou has rejected knowledge, I will reject thee. 16:28 Satan is the deceiver, don't let him deceive you 16:30 on this thing. 16:31 You've read it from the Word of God tonight for yourself. 16:33 Now, four groups of people when Jesus comes back. 16:35 The righteous dead rise what? 16:37 Aud.: First. 16:38 PB: First The righteous living are caught up to meet the Lord 16:40 in the what? 16:41 Aud.: Air. 16:42 PB: The wicked living die at the brightness of his what? 16:44 Aud.: Coming. 16:45 PB: The wicked dead remain what? 16:47 Aud.: Dead. 16:48 PB: We recognize Jesus is coming back the second time 16:50 to get His people. 16:51 He's coming to do what, everybody? 16:53 Aud.: Get. 16:54 PB: The first time He came, he came to do what for His 16:56 people? 17:07 Aud.: No. 17:08 PB: But He's coming real what? 17:10 Aud.: Soon. 17:11 PB: Because the signs say nations shall rise 17:13 against what? 17:14 Aud.: Nations. 17:15 PB: There shall be wars and rumors of what? 17:17 Aud.: Wars. 17:18 PB: There shall be deception and the love of many shall 17:20 wax what? 17:21 Aud.: Cold. 17:22 PB: Cold. 17:23 We recognize Jesus is coming back the same way He left. 17:25 He left in the clouds of the air, He's coming back 17:27 in the clouds in the what? 17:37 Aud.: First. 17:38 PB: The righteous dead will be caught up to meet the Lord 17:40 in the what? 17:41 Aud.: Air. 17:42 PB: The wicked living will die at the brightness 17:44 of His what? 17:45 Aud.: Coming. 17:46 PB: The wicked dead will remain what? 17:48 Aud.: Dead. 17:49 [Aud. reaction] PB: Now, let's expand 17:51 our minds. 17:52 You just read from Scripture 17:55 that at Jesus' second coming the righteous dead rise 18:02 first, at the second coming. 18:05 You just read that at the second coming, 18:07 the righteous living are caught up to meet the Lord in the air. 18:16 Now let's think about it. 18:19 If the righteous went straight to the heaven 18:26 at their earthly death, 18:33 who would Jesus be coming back to get? 18:44 [Aud. reaction] PB: If the righteous 18:50 were already in heaven at their earthly death, 18:57 who would rise first at Jesus' second coming? 19:04 There would be no one for Jesus to come back and get 19:10 because the righteous would already be in heaven. 19:16 Now, I know for some people that's not popular. 19:19 But you can't be popular and prophetic at the same time. 19:22 [Aud. reaction] PB: The Word of God is clear, 19:26 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven 19:31 with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, 19:35 and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall 19:41 rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught 19:46 up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord 19:48 in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 19:51 Sadly, when Jesus Christ comes the second time, 19:53 despite the warnings that have been given, despite the signs 19:55 that have been foretold, when Jesus Christ comes 19:57 just like folk weren't prepared at His first coming, 20:01 they're not going to be prepared at His second coming. 20:04 But you know what? 20:05 At His second coming, everyone is still going 20:07 to receive their just reward. 20:08 So in the old words of the old Negro spiritual, "If I die 20:13 and my soul be lost, it's nobody's fault but mine. 20:21 You'd better mind, you'd better mind, judgment day 20:26 is coming, you'd better mind." 20:28 You'd better mind who you're talking to, and you'd better 20:32 mind who you're talking about. 20:34 Judgment Day is coming, you'd better mind. 20:36 And you know what, friends? 20:38 I'm going to mind. 20:40 Jesus died for me, all He asks is that I live for Him. 20:44 Jesus has done too much for me, for me to miss out on 20:48 God's great heaven. 20:49 I refuse to live in an earthly hell, die and go to hell, 20:53 and then live for the rest of my life in hell. 20:55 That's too much hell. 20:56 Do I have a witness in this place? 21:00 [Aud. reaction] PB: He's got a mansion prepared 21:04 with my name written all over it. 21:06 My Bible tells me there'll be no crying there, no dying 21:09 there, no high blood pressure there, no caner there, 21:14 no diabetes there, no arthritis there, no house note, 21:19 no car note, no bills there, no night there. 21:24 The former things are going to be passed away, and all 21:28 things are going to become new. 21:29 Can I tell somebody about heaven tonight? 21:31 [Aud. reaction] PB: Oh, the lion's going 21:34 to play with the lamb. 21:35 There's a song that we sing, "I'm going to sit 21:38 at the welcome table. 21:40 I'm going to feast on milk and honey. 21:46 I'm going to sing and never get tired. 21:48 I'm going to shout Hallelujah." 21:49 I'm going to put on my long, white robe, I'm going to even 21:51 eat grits with Jesus. 21:52 [Aud. reaction] PB: I'm going to shout 21:58 Hallelujah. 21:59 In fact, when I get to heaven, when I sit in the presence 22:04 of God, I'm going to shout, "Holy, holy, holy." 22:11 Some of you all think praise and worship is too long now. 22:14 Some of you all think praise and worship is too loud now. 22:18 But when we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing 22:24 that's going to be. 22:26 When we all see Jesus, we're going to sing and shout 22:32 the victory around God's great throne. 22:35 That's going to be persistent praise. 22:38 Everybody say "persistent praise." 22:40 Aud.: Persistent praise. 22:41 PB: But I'm not going to wait 'til I get to heaven to praise 22:47 Him. 22:48 [Aud. reaction] PB: I'm going to praise Him 22:50 down here too. 22:51 Is anybody else going to praise Him down here?
