Nor thy daughter, nor thy man servant, 17:44 nor thy maid servant, nor thy cattle, not thy stranger 17:47 that is within thy gates, for in how many days? 17:49 How many days? 17:50 Six days the Lord made heaven and what? 17:52 (Aud: Earth) The sea and all 17:54 that in them is, and rested the what day? 17:56 (Aud: Seventh) Wherefore the Lord God blessed 17:58 the what day? 17:59 (Aud: Sabbath) And what? 18:01 Hallowed it. 18:02 So the commandments clearly say it as well. Remember 18:04 the Sabbath day to keep it holy. 18:06 Now, we're still looking for God's seal. 18:08 Let's look carefullyn Exodus, Chapter 20, verses 8, 9, 10 18:10 and 11 to find God's seal. 18:11 Now, remember, a seal bears three things. 18:13 It bears one's what? 18:14 Name. 18:15 It bears one's what? 18:16 Title. 18:17 It bears one's what? 18:18 Territory. 18:20 Let's find God's name in the fourth commandment. 18:25 The Lord thy God. 18:31 That's his name. 18:34 His title, he made everything, which makes his title, 18:38 he is Creator. 18:39 His territory. 18:44 The heavens, the earth, the seas and all that in them is. 18:52 Which means God's territory is everywhere. 18:58 The Sabbath then, we cannot have the Sabbath to take it or leave 19:03 it, because God's Sabbath is God's seal. 19:08 His name, Lord thy God, his title, he is Creator, 19:16 he made everything, and his territory, the heavens, 19:20 the earth, the seas, and all that in them is. 19:23 Well, Pastor Byrd, that's a stretch. 19:25 I don't know that about his sign. 19:27 I don't know if the Sabbath is God's sign. 19:29 I don't know if God's Sabbath is God's seal. 19:31 I'm with you, Pastor Byrd, but God created this earth 19:33 in six literal days and he rested, he blessed it, 19:36 and he sanctified the seventh day Sabbath. 19:38 I'm with you on that. 19:39 I understand that a seal bears one's name, title and territory, 19:43 but how do we really know God's seal is God's Sabbath? 19:45 How do we really know that God's seal, God's sign, 19:48 is God's Sabbath? 19:49 I knew you would ask, so now I'm going to 19:51 take you to Exodus 31. 19:55 Know what you believe, know why you believe it, 19:59 and know where it's found. 20:01 Getting quiet in here tonight. 20:06 Some of you all want me to come shout you. 20:08 I told somebody, preaching is not just shouting. 20:10 If you're going to shout, say something worth 20:12 shouting about. 20:13 Exodus 31, verse 12. 20:14 If you have it let me hear you say Amen. 20:16 The Word of God says, "And the Lord spake unto Moses, 20:18 saying, Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, 20:20 saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: 20:24 for it is a sign between me and you." 20:26 s a what, everybody? 20:27 Come on, it is a what, everybody? 20:29 (Aud: Sign) "Between me and you 20:31 throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am 20:33 the Lord that doth sanctify you. 20:35 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is" 20:37 what unto you? 20:38 (Aud: Holy) "Every one that defileth it 20:40 shall surely be put to" what? 21:22 God. 21:25 Pastor Byrd didn't write it. 21:28 God wrote it. 21:29 You didn't write it. 21:33 God wrote it. 21:34 The Bible is clear that the sabbath is a sign, 21:39 God's seal, name, title, territory that should 21:41 last between God and his people forever. 21:44 Let's continue to work our way. 21:48 Go to Leviticus, 23. 21:58 All right, Pastor Byrd, I'm with you. 22:00 I'm feeling you. 22:01 I see what you say from the Word of God. 22:03 You're reading the Word of God. 22:04 You didn't bring me or give me any notes or anything else. 22:06 You're coming straight from the Word of God. 22:08 So far I'm with you. 22:09 I'm cool. 22:10 I'm all right. 22:11 Let's get some more. 22:12 Leviticus 23:3. 22:13 The Word of God says: "Six days shall work be done: 22:18 but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, 22:22 an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: 22:25 it is the" what, everybody? 22:26 Sabbath of the Lord in all your what? 22:29 Dwellings. 22:30 All right. 22:31 So we discovered there are how many days of the week? 22:33 Seven. 22:34 God created this earth in how many days? 22:36 Six. 22:37 On the seventh day he what? 22:38 Rested. 22:39 He what else? 22:40 Blessed it. 22:41 He what else? 22:42 He sanctified it. 22:43 The Bible is clear that we'll remember 22:45 the Sabbath Day to keep it what? 22:47 Holy. 22:48 We are clear from the Word of God that God's seal 22:50 is God's Sabbath, which means I can't treat it 22:52 like any other thing. 22:53 I can't treat like any other day, 22:55 because it bears his name, his title, his territory. 22:57 The Lord thy God, his title, he is Creator, his territory, 23:01 the heavens, the earth, the seas and all 23:03 that in them is. 23:04 The Sabbath is God's seal, God's sign, which is to be 23:07 a sign or a mark between God and his people forever. 23:13 The Bible says that the Sabbath is a day of rest, 23:17 a holy convocation. 23:19 Which means, let me confess, I've nothing to hide, 23:24 that on God's seventh-day Sabbath I find myself 23:27 in worship to God in God's church, 23:30 because Leviticus 23:3 says that it is 23:33 a holy convocation. 23:35 When we talk about a convocation, we talk 23:37 about a coming together. 23:39 We talk about an assembly. 23:42 The Bible is saying, this is a holy coming together. 23:45 This is a holy assembly where the people of God, 23:49 because it's God's seal, they come together 23:52 in holy convocation in worship to God. 23:55 Yes, there are some people in this world that get 23:58 a little bit excited perhaps about LeBron James. 24:02 There are some people in this world that get perhaps 24:05 a little excited about Beyonce and Jay-Z. 24:08 But I need you to understand that on God's seventh-day 24:12 Sabbath, for me it ain't about LeBron James, for me it's not 24:16 about the Miami Heat, for me it's not about Jay-Z, Beyonce, 24:20 or anybody else for that matter, but it's all about the King 24:23 of Kings, it's all about the Lord of Lords, 24:26 because it's his seal, it is his Sabbath. 24:34 All right, Pastor Byrd. 24:35 It's a hard word, but it's the right word. 24:41 Get some more. 24:43 Go with me to the book of Isaiah. 24:53 I wish you to go to Chapter 58, verse 13. 24:57 The Word of God says: 25:06 "If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, 25:09 from doing thy" what, everybody? 25:11 Pleasure. 25:12 Come on, doing my what? 25:13 (Aud: Pleasure) A lot of folks need to read 25:15 that again. 25:16 Doing my what? 25:17 Pleasure. 25:18 "On my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, 25:20 the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour 25:23 him, not doing thine own" what? 25:25 (Aud: Way) Nor finding thine own what? 25:27 (Aud: Pleasure) Nor speaking thine own what, everybody? 25:29 (Aud: Words) "Then shalt thou delight 25:31 thyself in the Lord; nd I will cause thee to ride 25:33 upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee 25:35 with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth 25:37 of the Lord hath spoken it." 25:39 Which means, because God's Sabbath bears God's seal, 25:45 and because it's my time with God, 25:48 I'm not doing my own pleasure. 25:51 I'm not finding myself at the football game or 25:53 the basketball game or looking in front 25:55 of the television or playing Xbox because I'm not 25:58 doing my own pleasure. 26:00 I'm not speaking my own words. 26:02 There's a way I talk on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 26:06 Thursday and Friday, but on God's seventh-day Sabbath 26:09 there's a certain way I talk. 26:11 I talk heavenward, I talk upward, 26:13 because it's all about the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. 26:16 I understand that because it's God's Sabbath, 26:19 God's seal, I'm not finding my own pleasure, I'm not 26:22 speaking my own words, nor am I doing my own ways. 26:27 Because I have a date with God. 26:30 PB: In order for Breath of Life to continue ministry, 26:33 we need you. 26:34 We need your prayers, we need your support. 26:37 We want you to know that any and all donations, 26:40 small or great, they are sincerely welcomed 26:42 and appreciated. 26:44 To contact us or to make your donation, 26:47 please feel free to give us a call 26:49 at 877-BOL-OFFER. 26:59 Or you may write to us at Breath of Life, P.O.
