commanded, O people, nations,

Nebuchadnezzar's grand
idolatry was accompanied

by music.

Elaborate and well-produced
music, by the way, which

reminds us of the
great power in music.

And so reminder number two
tonight is, music can be used

for both good and evil.

drum is demonic, that the Hammon

at the three Hebrew boys.

Now, the three
Hebrew boys, they could have

dodged the question.

They could have tried
to change the subject.

They could have offered a
word of excuse for their actions

because in a time of
test, it's easier to think of

excuses that seem
to justify compromise.

They could have said, we're
in a different place, we're in

as the Romans do.

But they knew that God was
omnipresent, which meant that

he was in the same place
at the same time, everywhere,

unlimited jurisdiction.

Lesson number two: We must
do more than perform acts of

Oftentimes when God blesses
us, we make the blessing an

God to keep what we have.

It's only a short time and

It's crazy to throw our
lives away for ten minutes.

really believed that God is

prayer so easily if we really

believed that we serve a

said, We know God is able

very ones who threw the Hebrew

were killed by the flames

careful about fueling the

wanted the boys dead and dead
