and we're reading about Jesus,

We're reading about
it 2,000 years later.

We know how the story ends, we
know the ultimate destination,

we know everything works
out, because we're reading the

We also know what Jesus
is to us, but what happened

on the journey?

of man to make snap judgments or

Back in the day, an
engagement was like a marriage.

It required a bill of
divorcement to get out of it.

So Joseph says, we're going
to secretly and discretely go

down to the lawyer, sign
the papers, and we're going

to get out of this.

Then when he gets ready
to sign the papers to put her

away, she's distraught because
she's told him the truth and

he doesn't believe her.

And you know how it is,
brothers, when a woman tells

And so the angel of the
Lord comes to Joseph and

That that's inside of Mary
is conceived by the Holy Ghost.

to him, and he says this to him.

He's trying to believe
something that common sense

His faith and his

going to give her a divorce.

In order to save the world,
on his journey he has to raise

Now, you've got to go back
