00:06 (Theme Song) Jesus is worthy oh yes, he's worthy
00:15 worthy of all . . . 00:21 Genesis 1, verse 1, the Word of God says, 00:25 "In the beginning, God created the 00:30 heavens and the earth. 00:31 And the earth was without form and void; 00:33 and darkness was on the face of the deep. 00:34 And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 00:37 And God said, Let there be light, and there was light." 00:41 Now, let's begin in understanding. 00:42 There are how many days in a week? 00:45 There are seven days in a week. 00:49 And what we're reading here from the Word of God, 00:52 Genesis chapter 1, is the first week 00:55 as recorded from God's Word. 00:56 "In the beginning, God created the heaven 01:00 and the earth. 01:01 And the earth was without form and void; 01:03 and darkness was on the face of the deep. 01:04 And the Spirit of God moved upon the face 01:07 of the waters." 01:08 Verse 3, "And God said, Let there be light, 01:10 and there was light." 01:12 Verse 4, "And God saw the light, that it was good; 01:14 and God divided the light from the darkness. 01:16 God called the light Day, and the darkness 01:18 He called Night. 01:19 So the evening and the morning were the first day." 01:21 How many days are there in a week? 01:23 On day one, God created light. 01:25 Let's read on. 01:27 Verse 6, "And God said, Let there be a firmament 01:30 in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters 01:33 from the waters." Verse 7. 01:35 "Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which 01:39 were under the firmament from the waters which were above 01:43 the firmament; and it was so." 01:44 Verse 8: "And God called the firmament Heaven. 01:48 So the evening and the morning were the second day." On day 01:52 two, God created the firmament. 01:53 Day one, God created what, everybody? Light. 01:57 How many days in the week have we done thus far? Two. 02:00 How many days are there in a week? 02:02 Seven minus five is what? 02:03 Let's go to verse 9. 02:05 The Word says, "And God said, Let the waters under the 02:09 heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the 02:12 dry land appear; and it was so. 02:15 And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering 02:18 together of the waters He called Seas. 02:22 And God saw that it was good." 02:23 Verse 11: "And God said, Let the earth 02:25 bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and 02:27 the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, 02:29 whose seed is in itself, on the earth; and it was so. 02:33 Verse 12: "And the earth brought forth grass, the herb 02:36 that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that 02:38 yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. 02:40 And God saw that it was good. 02:42 And the evening and the morning were the third day." 02:45 So on day three, God created vegetation. 02:49 Day two he created what? 02:50 Firmament. 02:51 Day one he created what? 02:53 All right, let's go to Verse 14. 02:54 "And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the 02:58 heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for 02:59 signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let 03:02 them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to 03:05 give light upon the earth: and it was so. 03:07 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the 03:11 day, and the lesser light to rule the night: 03:14 he made the stars also. 03:15 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to 03:17 give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over 03:19 the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and 03:20 God saw that it was good. 03:21 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day." 03:26 I sound like an auctioneer. 03:28 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. 03:32 All right. 03:33 How many days in a week? 03:35 Talk to me now. 03:37 We've got to teach it then we preach it. 03:38 How many days in the week? 03:39 Seven. 03:40 On day four, God created the sun, the moon and the stars. 03:42 On day three he created what? 03:43 Vegetation. 03:48 Day two he created what? 03:51 Day one he created what? 03:53 How many days in the week? 03:54 How many says have we done thus far? 03:56 Seven minus four is? 03:57 Three. 04:02 Day one, light. 04:04 Day two, the firmament. 04:06 Day three, vegetation. 04:10 Day four, the sun, the moon and the what? 04:14 Go to verse 20. 04:15 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the 04:17 moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly 04:20 above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 04:23 And God created great whales, and every living creature that 04:26 moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, 04:28 after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: 04:30 and God saw that it was good. 04:32 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and 04:38 fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply 04:40 in the earth. 04:41 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day." 04:45 The evening and the morning were the what day? 04:46 Fifth day. 04:47 Now, let's be clear. 04:48 On day five, God created fish and fowl. 04:50 Fish and birds. 04:52 Fish and fowl. 04:53 Are you hearing what I'm saying? 04:55 Are we together, everybody? 04:57 How many days in the week? 04:58 How many days have we done this far? 05:01 And you notice after each day the Bible defines a day as the 05:05 evening and the what? 05:08 So then that suggests to me that a day biblically is 05:10 defined as evening and the what? Morning. 05:14 Are you hearing what I'm saying, everybody? 05:16 How many days in a week? 05:17 Seven days in the week. 05:19 How many days have we done thus far? 05:21 How many days left? 05:23 Day five, God created what? 05:24 Day three God created what? 05:26 No, he didn't create the sun, moon and stars on day three. 05:35 Let's try it again. 05:37 All right, day five, God created what? 05:40 Day four, God created. 05:42 Day three God created what? 05:46 Day two God created what? 05:48 Day one God created what? 05:51 Day one God created what? 05:52 Day two God created. 05:55 Day three God created. 05:56 Day five, God created. 05:57 Day four God created what? 06:02 If you don't do anything else, when you leave church today 06:06 you're going to know what God created and when he created it. 06:08 Come on, say Amen. 06:10 Amen. 06:11 All right, let's read some more. 06:13 Verse 24, "And God said, Let the earth bring forth the 06:16 living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping 06:18 thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 06:22 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and 06:26 cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon 06:28 the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good." 06:32 Then verse 26: And God said, Let us"--let whom, everybody? 06:37 Us, make man. 06:37 We recognize when we see that "us," God does not say, Let me 06:40 make man. 06:43 God says, "Let us make man." 06:44 Pointing to the fact that trinity, the Father, the Son, 06:47 and the Holy Spirit, "let us make man in our image, after 06:51 our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of 06:53 the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, 06:55 and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that 06:57 creepeth upon the earth. 06:58 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God 07:05 created he him; male and" what? 07:08 Male and what? 07:09 Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. 07:17 "created he them. 07:18 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, 07:21 and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and 07:24 have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of 07:26 the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the 07:29 earth." Verse 29: "And God said, Behold, I have given you 07:31 every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the 07:35 earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree 07:38 yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 07:40 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of 07:42 the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, 07:43 wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for 07:46 meat: and it was so. 07:46 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it 07:50 was very good. 07:52 And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." 07:54 On day six God made mammal and man. 07:57 Day six, God created mammal and whom, everybody? 08:01 All right, so day one, God created what? Light. 08:03 Day two he created the firmament. 08:05 Day three he created vegetation. 08:07 Day four he created the sun, the moon and the stars. 08:09 Day five he created fish and what? 08:12 Day six he created mammal and what? 08:14 Now, how many days are there in a week? 08:17 Come on, how many days are there in a week? 08:18 How many days have we done thus far? Six. 08:20 How many days do we have left? 08:21 One. 08:22 We're very clear, we're mathematicians, we understand 08:24 very clearly that there are seven days 08:26 in a week. 08:27 On six days God created different things on each day, 08:31 a day being defined as the evening and the morning. 08:34 Seven minus six is what? 08:36 One. 08:37 Which means we have how many days left? 08:39 One day left to make up what transpired 08:42 during creation week. 08:46 Go to Genesis 2. Verse 1. 08:50 The Word of God says, "Thus the heavens and 08:55 the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 09:01 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had 09:04 made." you need a break. 09:07 "And he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he 09:15 had made." Verse 3: "And God blessed the seventh day." And 09:20 what else did he do to the seventh day? 09:22 He what? 09:23 "Sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all 09:26 his work which God created and made." Now, that's some good 09:31 stuff right there. 09:32 How many days are there in a week? 09:34 Seven. 09:35 On day one God created what? 09:36 Light. 09:37 On day two, God created the what? 09:40 On day three God created what, everybody? 09:42 On day four he created the sun, the moon and the what? 09:44 On day five he created fish and what? 09:46 On day six he created mammal and what? 09:49 Man. 09:50 There are seven days to a week, which means there is one 09:52 day left. 09:53 And you need a break. 09:56 God knew you needed a break. 10:00 So God, because he's all that and then some and a bag of 10:03 chips, God is omnipotent, God is omniscient, God is 10:07 omnipresent, God is sovereign, God can do what he wants when 10:10 he wants where he wants, and he doesn't have to ask you and 10:13 me what and how to do it. 10:15 God decided that on day seven, according to Genesis 2:1, that 10:20 God had finished his work. 10:22 And so God says, "I finished my work, so on the seventh day 10:28 I'm gonna rest. 10:30 But not only am I gonna rest on the seventh day, but I'm 10:34 gonna bless the seventh day. 10:37 Not only am I going to bless the seventh day, but God says, 10:41 I'm going to sanctify the seventh day. 10:44 Which means God is saying, not only am I just sanctifying it, 10:47 but in essence I am setting that day apart. 10:51 That day is different from all of the rest. 10:54 I'm going to rest on this day, I'm gonna bless this day, but 10:58 I'm also gonna sanctify or set apart this day. 11:03 There are seven days in the week, the Bible is clear. 11:05 We're a Bible-believing people. 11:07 The Bible has clearly said, not Pastor Byrd, but the Bible 11:09 has clearly said that God created this earth in six 11:14 literal days. 11:15 But on the seventh day God rested from his work, God 11:20 blessed the seventh day, and then God sanctified the 11:23 seventh day. 11:25 Well, let's get some more Word in us, because we often say, 11:27 If it's not in the Word, it doesn't deserves to be heard. 11:29 But If it's in the Word, it does deserve to be heard, and 11:31 because God said it, that settles it. 11:34 So we've been in Genesis. 11:35 Let's go now to the book of Exodus. 11:37 What book, everybody? 11:38 And let's work our way up, all the way through Revelation, on 11:42 this topic of "you need a break." Genesis has told us 11:47 what transpired in week one of earth's history, and we now 11:51 must discover, what does Exodus say. 11:54 Exodus, chapter 20. 11:55 Now, remember, the Bible in Exodus 20, verses 3 through 12:03 17, deals with the Law of God or the Ten Commandments. 12:08 Are you hearing what I'm saying, everybody? 12:09 Exodus 20:3-17 deals with God's Law, his Ten 12:17 Commandments law. 12:18 Now, if you look at the commandments very carefully, 12:21 commandments 1, 2, 3 and 4 deal with our love for God. 12:28 Commandments 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 deal with our love 12:34 for each other. 12:35 So when we talk about, you should love the Lord with all 12:39 your heart, mind, body, soul and spirit, and then love your 12:41 neighbor as yourself, you need to understand that those are 12:45 just affirmations to the fact that Commandments 1-4 deal 12:51 with our love for God, and Commandments 5-10 deal with 12:54 our love for our fellow man. 12:55 Go with me to Commandment 4, beginning at verse 8. 13:00 The Word of God says what? 13:04 Come on, say it like you mean it. 13:06 The Word of God says what? 13:07 "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy." All right, it 13:11 says, "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy." Now, if 13:15 we stop right there and analyze all of the different 13:18 commandments, verses 3-17, we will notice all of the other 13:22 commandments begin with the words "Thou shalt not." But 13:26 when we look at Commandment 4, we discover that it begins 13:31 with the word "Remember." 13:33 Which suggests to me that God knew somebody was going to 13:36 forget. 13:39 It also suggests to me that God knew, because he's 13:42 all-knowing, God knew that somebody was going to try to 13:46 change his law. 13:48 So instead of saying, "Thou shalt keep the sabbath day 13:51 holy," God says, "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy." 13:57 Going on, verse 9: "Six days shalt thou labor, and do all 14:01 thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy 14:06 God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, 14:08 nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy 14:10 maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is 14:12 within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and 14:16 earth, the sea, and all that in them is." And then he did 14:19 what on the seventh day? 14:20 "Rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed 14:23 the" what day? 14:25 Which means the sabbath day is the seventh day, "and hallowed 14:30 it." Now, God said it, that settles it. 14:34 In six literal days God created this earth. 14:38 On day seven, God rested, he blessed it, he sanctified it. 14:42 He set it apart. 14:43 And he can do it because he's God, and that's just the way 14:46 he is. 14:47 Then we go over to Exodus, and Exodus just affirms what we've 14:51 already read in Genesis. 14:52 God says, "Remember the sabbath day," the seventh day, 14:56 "to keep it holy." Six days you do all your labor. 15:00 And God has said, just follow my example, because at 15:02 creation week I did all of my labor in days 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 15:05 and 6. 15:08 But on day seven, God says, rest. 15:11 Because I blessed it. 15:13 And he uses the term in the commandment, 15:15 I also hallowed it. 15:16 Which is synonymous, the same thing as sanctifying. 15:20 But God says, I set it apart. 15:23 There is something specific about the seventh day sabbath. 15:27 Pastor Byrd, why did God choose the seventh day? 15:30 He's God, and he can do that. 15:34 Whom am I to question? 15:36 Whom am I to question God? 15:37 God said it, that settles it. 15:40 Are you hearing what I'm saying? 15:41 Let's get some more Word. 15:42 Go to the book of Exodus, chapter 31. 15:44 Let's get some more Word. 15:47 Know what you believe, know why you believe it, know where 15:50 it's found. 15:51 We're going to work our way through scripture. 15:57 Exodus 31, verse 12: And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 16:07 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, 16:12 Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between 16:18 me and you throughout your generations." Which means then 16:23 to me that the Sabbath is not supposed to stop. 16:27 The Sabbath is to be a sign, the seventh-day Sabbath, a 16:29 sign between God and his people throughout your 16:33 generation. 16:34 "That ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify 16:39 you." In other words, I'm the Lord who set you apart. 16:42 Are you hearing what I'm saying? 16:44 Verse 14: "Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is 16:46 holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be 16:50 put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that 16:55 soul shall be cut off from among his people." Verse 15: 16:58 "Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the 17:03 sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work 17:06 in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 17:10 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, 17:12 to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, 17:14 for a perpetual covenant." 17:16 Which means, perpetual, ongoing." Verse 17: "It is a 17:21 sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: 17:23 for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the 17:27 seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. 17:31 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of 17:34 communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of 17:36 testimony, tables of stone, written with the 17:39 finger of God." 17:41 If God said it, that settles it. 17:43 There are how many days in a week? 17:46 Seven. 17:48 In six days, day one God created what? 17:50 Light. 17:51 Day two the what? 17:52 Firmament. 17:52 Day three what? 17:53 Vegetation. 17:54 Day four, the sun, the moon and the stars. 17:56 Day five, fish and what? 17:57 Fowl. 17:58 Day six, mammal and what? 17:59 Man. 18:00 And then on the seventh day God ended his which he had 18:03 made, and God did what first? 18:04 Rested. 18:06 you Need a break. 18:08 Secondly, not only did God rest, but God what? 18:10 Blessed it. 18:12 And the thirdly he what? 18:13 Sanctified it. 18:15 We go to the Ten Commandments in Exodus, chapter 20, and we 18:17 see and read where God's Word says, "Remember the sabbath 18:22 day, to keep it holy." 18:24 We go over to Exodus 31, and we read that the Sabbath, 18:27 the seventh day, was to be a sign between 18:29 God and his people forever. 18:34 Let's go to Leviticus. 18:37 Get some more Word. 18:39 Know what you believe, know why you believe it, know where 18:43 it's found. 18:45 Leviticus, chapter 23, and we're going to verse 3. 18:50 Leviticus 23:3. 18:57 The Word of God is very clear to us. 18:59 It says to us today, "Six days shall work be done: but the 19:04 seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; you 19:11 shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in 19:14 all your dwellings." So not only was the Sabbath to be a 19:19 day of rest, not only was the Sabbath blessed by God, not 19:22 only was the Sabbath sanctified by God, but the 19:25 Bible says that the Sabbath is to be a holy convocation. 19:32 Which means, convocation by definition is, a 19:33 coming together. 19:35 Convocation means an assembly. 19:37 The Bible is clear that on the Sabbath day there is to be a 19:41 holy coming together. 19:43 There is to be a holy assembling. 19:46 That is why I was glad today when they said unto me, Let us 19:49 go into the house of the Lord. 19:52 That's why I was happy today when I said, Praise God from 19:55 whom all blessings flow. 19:57 Because this is the seventh-day Sabbath, and I'm 20:00 to enter into his courts with thanksgiving, into his courts 20:03 with praise, recognizing who I am and whose I am, because it 20:08 is to be a holy convocation. 20:10 God knew that you needed a break. 20:13 God knew that I needed a break. 20:15 God knew that we needed some one-on-one time with him. 20:20 A holy convocation. 20:23 A holy assembly. 20:25 A holy coming together. 20:29 Evening and the morning. 20:32 Which means sunset to what? 20:34 Sunset. 20:36 So by biblical definition, when the sun sets this 20:38 evening, we're now moving into another day. 20:41 Because the Bible defines a day as the evening and the 20:43 what? 20:45 Morning. 20:45 Let's go a little further. 20:46 Let's go to the book of Isaiah. 20:49 Chapter 58. 20:50 Know what you believe, know why you believe it, know where 20:52 it's found. 20:54 Isaiah 58, and we're going to verse 13 and 14. 20:59 All right, Pastor, it's clear, the Bible is clear that the 21:02 seventh day is the Sabbath. 21:04 The Bible is clear, Pastor Byrd, that not only is the 21:06 seventh day the Sabbath, but we should rest, it's blessed, 21:09 it's sanctified and set apart, and it's also supposed to be a 21:12 holy coming together. 21:14 So I see why we come into God's house on the seventh-day 21:17 Sabbath to worship, because it's to be a holy convocation. 21:20 But Pastor Byrd, is that it? 21:22 Isaiah 58:13. 21:26 The Word says, "If thou turn away thy foot from the 21:32 sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and 21:36 call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, 21:39 honorable; and shalt honor him, not doing thine own ways, 21:41 nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine 21:49 own words." Go to verse 14: "Then shalt thou delight 21:53 thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon 21:58 the high places." Not the low places, but the high places 22:01 "of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy 22:04 father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." Because 22:12 the seventh day is the Sabbath and I'm resting, it's been 22:15 blessed, it's been set aside and sanctified by God, because 22:18 the Commandments tell me this, and because I love the Lord so 22:21 I want to keep his commandments, recognizing that 22:23 keeping God's commandments and doing what God says is rooted 22:27 in my love for him, I realize also it's a holy convocation, 22:34 which means there's a holy coming together. 22:36 We sing, we pray, we praise, we read God's Word, we worship 22:40 him because it's a holy convocation. 22:42 I also recognize that I don't speak any kind of way on God's 22:45 Sabbath. 22:48 I recognize I don't do any and everything on God's Sabbath. 22:52 I don't speak my own words, find my own pleasure, because 22:56 I'm doing those things that please God alone. 22:58 Are you hearing what I'm saying? 23:00 I recognize that because it's me and God time, I may like 23:05 the Falcons, I may like the Dolphins, I may like the 23:09 Cowboys, but from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday it's 23:13 my time with God. 23:15 Because I need a break. 23:18 I need some me and God time. 23:20 I'm on a date with my God. 23:22 God loved me so much that he sent his Son, Jesus, to die 23:27 for me. 23:28 And on the seventh-day Sabbath, I need to let him 23:29 know how much I love him. 23:30 So when I'm on a date with God, I can't be distracted by 23:34 other people. 23:35 I can't be distracted by other talk, because I'm walking and 23:39 talking with my mind stayed on Jesus. 23:42 My wife and I, we will have been married 13 years, praise 23:49 the Lord, in December. 23:50 Thirteen years. 23:53 Before we got married, I used to take her out on dates and 23:56 even as we are married, I still take her out on dates. 23:58 Do I have a witness in this place? 24:01 And when I take her out on dates, you need to understand, 24:04 I better not be talking to anybody else, looking for 24:06 anybody else, go to a restaurant where you can watch 24:09 ESPN. 24:10 Do I have a witness in this place? 24:13 My wife got hip to that. 24:14 We would go in the restaurant, baby, where do you want to 24:16 sit? 24:17 Well, I want to sit right here, because I want to see TV 24:19 in my view. 24:19 Come on, say Amen, brothers. 24:21 But I learned when I'm on a date with my wife, 24:24 I can't do all that. 24:27 I've got to look in her eyes. 24:33 I've got to tell her she looks good. 24:36 I have to tell her how much I love her. 24:39 I've got to smell good. 24:42 Come on, you know you don't go on no dates smelling bad. 24:45 Do I have a witness in this place? 24:48 I've got to smell good. 24:50 I've got to look good. 24:53 Hair has to be cut, in place, lotion on my elbows. 24:59 Can I get a witness in this place? 25:03 Because I'm on a date with my wife. 25:05 Are you hearing what I'm saying? 25:07 Well, how much more so when the sun sets 25:10 on Friday evening. 25:11 And the sun goes down and I turn off that phone ringer. 25:15 You all hear what I'm saying. 25:16 I cut off that television set. 25:18 You all hear what I'm talking about. 25:19 And it's my time to commune with the King of Kings 25:22 and the Lord of Lords. 25:24 I step into God's house for the holy convocation on the 25:27 seventh-day Sabbath. 25:28 I look good, I dress good, I smell good, my hair's in 25:33 place, because I'm on a date with my Jesus. 25:36 You all hear what I'm saying. 25:37 Because Jesus told me, you need a break. 25:47 I don't speak my own words. 25:49 I don't do my own thing. 25:51 I'm doing what he tells me to do. 25:54 I'm doing the God thing. 25:56 Are you all hearing what I'm saying? 25:58 All right, Pastor, well, we understand that there are 26:01 seven days in a week. 26:02 God created this earth in six literal days, and on day seven 26:06 God rested, blessed and sanctified and put 26:08 apart that day. 26:08 "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy." The Sabbath, 26:11 the seventh day, is to be a holy convocation. 26:13 I then understand why we come into God's house and worship 26:15 him on the seventh-day Sabbath. 26:17 That makes good sense, Pastor Byrd. 26:19 I understand, it's to be a time between God and his 26:21 people forever. 26:22 I also understand I'm not supposed to speak my own words 26:25 or do my own pleasure, because this is my time with God. 26:28 One, two, three, four, five, six for us, but the seventh is 26:31 for Jesus. 26:33 Pastor Byrd, that's so clear from the Word of God. 26:41 Why doesn't everyone understand that? 26:43 Why doesn't everyone believe that? 26:46 Pastor Byrd, God must have changed his Sabbath 26:52 and his law. 26:53 Because most people don't realize or recognize in the 26:55 Christian community that the seventh day and observe it as 26:58 the Sabbath. 26:59 God had to change his law, Pastor Byrd. 27:00 Did God change his law? 27:03 ----- PB: if you would like to become a Breath 27:04 of Life partner. 27:05 and share in the blessings of sharing this good news with 27:10 men, women, boys and girls please feel free to call us at 27:13 877-BOL-OFFER. 27:19 Again, that's 877-BOL-OFFER. 27:24 Or feel free to write us at the address shown on your 27:27 screen. 27:28 Finally, you can reach us by logging onto our web site at 27:31 www.breathoflife.tv. 27:36 Again, thank you very much for tuning in today may God bless 27:40 you. and we look forward to you partnering 27:43 with our ministry. 27:44 There's no better way to explore th plans God has 27:46 for you than the Discover Bible Guides. 27:49 It's the Breath of Life Gift offer this week.
