10:47 Go to verse 4 of Revelation 20. 10:51 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment 10:55 was given to them. 10:56 And I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the 10:58 witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and which had not 11:02 worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had 11:05 received his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands, 11:07 and they lived and reigned with Christ for one thousand 11:12 years. 11:13 Which means from this text, the righteous will be in 11:16 heaven, thank you, Jesus, reigning with Jesus. 11:18 But we also see that judgment was given unto them in heaven. 11:23 Let's read a little further. 11:23 Go to verse 12. 11:25 The Word of God says in Revelation 20:12, And I saw 11:29 the dead, small and great, stand before God and the books 11:35 were what? 11:59 Works. 12:02 The righteous during the 1,000 years will be participating in 12:07 judgment. 12:09 The righteous will be able to look over the books and see 12:12 who's been naughty and who's been nice. 12:16 The righteous will be in heaven reigning for Jesus 12:19 Christ, and they will look over the books, and this is 12:23 for the benefit of the righteous. 12:26 Why is this for the benefit of the righteous? 12:27 This is for the benefit of the righteous because, remember, 12:29 Satan's claim has been that God is not fair, that God is 12:33 unjust, that God is a tyrant. 12:37 But when the righteous participate in the millennial 12:40 judgment, they will be able to look over the books and see 12:43 why everybody got their just reward, and see how many times 12:48 chance after chance after chance after chance that God 12:51 was trying to save his people. 12:53 Second coming of Jesus. 12:59 First resurrection. 13:02 The dead in Christ rise what? 13:30 Dead. 13:31 where? 13:33 Heaven. 13:35 Participating in what? 13:35 Judgment. 13:37 At the end of the 1,000 years, the Bible speaks of a second 13:41 resurrection, and the Bible says that it's at that 13:45 resurrection that the wicked will be resurrected. 13:49 Well, Pastor, how do we know that? 13:50 Go back to Revelation 20:5. 13:52 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand 13:56 years were what? 13:58 Finished. 13:58 This is the first resurrection. 14:00 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first 14:02 resurrection; on such the second death hath no what? 14:06 Power. 14:09 Go to Revelation 21, verse 2. 14:12 RBJohn says, talking about what takes place at the end of the 14:16 1,000 years, John Ns, "And I, John, saw 14:21 New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, 14:27 prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 14:30 And I heard a great voice out of heaven, verse 3, saying, 14:32 behold the tabernacle of God is with men. 14:34 And he will dwell with them and they shall be his people. 14:37 And God himself shall be with them and be their what, 14:41 everybody? 15:13 From God. 15:14 So we recognize, oh, this is getting good, man messed up. 15:18 So God had to send Jesus the first time. 15:21 The first time Jesus had to come to save his people. 15:25 But even after Jesus saved the people he had to go and die on 15:28 the cross. 15:29 And understand, since Jesus' death man is still messing up. 15:34 But God is not willing that any should perish, but all 15:36 should come to repentance. 15:39 And so God says, one day I'm going to put an end 15:40 to this stuff. 15:42 I'm going to put an end to this madness, and at my second 15:45 coming, I'm going to get my people. 15:48 The dead in Christ are going to rise first. 15:50 We which are alive and remain will be caught up to meet the 15:53 Lord in the air. 15:54 The wicked living will die at the brightness of his coming. 15:56 The wicked dead will remain dead. 15:59 We recognize for a thousand years the Earth will be a 16:01 mess. 16:02 Satan will be on vacation. 16:04 He will be bound by a set of circumstances. 16:07 We understand the righteous will participate in judgment. 16:10 And then at the third coming, Jesus has already come to save 16:15 his people, Jesus has already come to get his people. 16:20 Jesus the third time, at the d of the 1,000 years, is 16:23 coming back with his people. 16:30 You all hear what I'm saying? And they went up on the breath of the Earth, 19:27 encompassed or circled the camp of the saints 19:30 úúovw the beloved city. 19:32 And fire came down from God out of heaven. 19:40 Now remember, at the flood and after 19:42 the flood the Lord said, it won't be water. 19:45 But fire next time. 19:49 The Bible is clear that fire came down from God and 19:53 devoured them. 19:54 What happens next? 19:55 Verse 10: And the devil that deceived them was cast into 20:02 the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast 20:06 and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day 20:11 and night forever and ever. 20:15 Hallelujah, somebody. 20:16 The Biblical definition of forever is as long as one 20:21 shall live. 20:23 What is this fire called? 20:24 Go to verse 14:@ And death and hell were 20:28 cast into the lake of fire. 20:31 This is the what number death? 20:33 Second death. 20:34 And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life 20:37 was cast into the lake of what, everybody? 20:40 Fire. 20:42 That lets me know, I don't want to be a part of the 20:45 second death. 20:48 You don't want to be a part of the second death. 20:51 No, no, no. 20:54 You see, understand, a righteous person, at most, 20:57 will die one time. 21:01 A righteous person, at most, will die one time. 21:06 There will be some righteous individuals who will never see 21:09 death because at Jesus' second coming the dead in 21:12 Christ are going to rise first. 21:15 But if an individual dies a second time, woe be unto them. 21:22 Know what you believe, know why you believe it, know where 21:24 it's found. 21:25 Because every wicked person will die at least twice. 21:29 They will die an Earthly death and remain dead at Jesus' 21:32 second coming, or at Jesus' second coming the brightness 21:35 of the sky, the sun, will blind them and destroy them. 21:39 Pastor Byrd, what does all this mean? 21:43 Well, know what you believe, know why you believe it, know 21:45 where it's found. 21:47 Pastor, but I understand that at Jesus' second coming the 21:50 dead in Christ rise first. 21:53 I understand at Jesus' second coming, that's the 21:55 first resurrection, and then also I understand that the 21:58 righteous who are alive and remain will be caught up to 22:00 meet the Lord in the air. 22:01 I understand, Pastor Byrd, that group number three, the 22:04 wicked living, will die at the brightness of Jesus' coming. 22:06 I also understand that group number four, the wicked dead, 22:08 will remain dead. 22:09 I understand that during the 1,000 years the Earth will be 22:12 in total devastation. 22:14 I understand that Satan will be on vacation. 22:16 He will not be able to deceive anyone again during that 22:18 period, because the righteous will be in heaven 22:21 participating in judgment, and the wicked will be dead here 22:24 on this Earth. 22:25 I also understand, Pastor Byrd, that at the end of the 22:28 1,000 years there's a second resurrection. 22:31 I understand that the wicked are resurrected again, Jesus 22:33 and his people are coming back to this Earth, the holy city 22:37 at that time is going to descend, and during the 1,000 22:41 years the righteous are not going to be able to pray their 22:44 wicked loved ones off Earth. 22:49 No purgatory. 22:52 That's not in scripture. 22:53 Know what you believe, know why you believe it, know where 22:54 it's found. 22:55 The wicked dead will be resurrected, the New Jerusalem 22:59 will descend, Satan will be loosed out of his prison, he 23:04 will seek to deceive the wicked into thinking they can 23:08 overtake Jesus, his people and the New Jerusalem, and then 23:10 God's going to rain down fire, and that will be ú@ 23:15 the second death. 23:20 Pastor Byrd, I understand, it makes sense. 23:22 But Pastor Byrd, why would Jesus, at the end of the 1,000 23:27 years, resurrected wicked folk only for them to die again? 23:35 Why would Jesus resurrect a @@ dead wicked person again at 23:40 the end of the 1,000 years, at the time of the third coming, 23:43 for them to only have to be destroyed by fire? 23:49 Let's expand our minds. 23:52 When Jesus comes back the third time, at the end of the 23:57 1,000 years, this will be the only time, and listen to me 24:01 carefully, get this word, this will be the only time in 24:05 Earth's history where everyone who has ever lived on 24:08 planet Earth, we will all be alive at the same time.@ @ 24:14 At the end of the 1,000 years, remember now, the righteous 24:17 are alive because they're descending out of heaven. 24:20 The wicked have been resurrected. 24:21 So everybody who has ever lived, Carlton Byrd, 24:26 Barak Obama, Adolf Hitler, Alexander the Great, 24:30 everyone who has ever lived, this is the only 24:33 time in Earth's history that we will all be alive at the 24:37 same time. 24:40 What is the significance of that? You see, 24:44 when Jesus comes back for the third time, he's 24:47 coming back with his people. 24:49 Satan would have deceived all the other people into 24:52 thinking, oh, this is a bunch of hogwash, this is not real, 24:56 all that which you've read, all that which is 24:57 said in the Bible. 24:58 But all those people who laughed at Jesus, all those 25:03 people who ridiculed people who were followers of Jesus, 25:07 it must come to pass, the prophecy that was foretold 25:11 years ago, that we're all alive at the same time because 25:15 the prophecy must come to pass that there shall be one day 25:19 where every knee shall bow, every tongue must confess that 25:25 Jesus the Christ is Lord. 25:29 We will all be alive at the same time because we shall 25:33 Lord.d him, our Savior and ourR6 At his first coming he came to 25:40 save his people. 25:41 ple. 25:41 comi:to geR%s Boming he'sR6 coming back with his people. 25:49 Ride on, K&;g Jesus. 25:51 No man can hinder thee. 25:54 I've got a home up in-a that kingdom, ain'ta that good 25:56 news? 25:57 I've got a Savior in-a that kingdom, ain'ta that good 26:00 news. 26:01 I'm gonna lafown this world, shoulder up my cross, 26:11 ain't that good news?sus,R6 In the holy city there will be 26:22 12 gates to the city. 26:25 Three gates to the north,R three gates to the south, 26:30 three gates to the east and three gateNo the west. 26:32 There will be no dying there. 26:35 The former things are passed away. 26:42 All things shall become new. 26:47 I would like to thank you very much for tuning in to the 26:49 Breath of Life telecast today. 26:50 I do hope that you were blessed by the Word 26:55 from God today. 26:56 I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to 26:59 become a partner of the Breath of Life television ministry. 27:03 That's right, you may give a tax deductible donation and 27:05 partner with us as we seek to give hope and peace of mind to 27:09 the dying world in which we live.To contact us. 27:13 Feel free to give us a call at 877-BOL-OFFER.@ 27:19 Again, that's 877-BOL-OFFER.@@ Or feel free to write us at 27:26 the address shown on your screen.@@ 27:29 Finally, you can reach us by logging on to our web site at 27:32 www.breathoflife.tv. 27:37 Again, thank you very much for tuning in today and we want to 27:41 thank you in advance for partnering with our ministry. 27:46 May God continue to bless you. 27:47 Life is full of questions sometimes we don't know 27:49 which way to go or where to turn. 27:51 But there are answers and there's hope waiting 27:53 for you in God's word the bible, and there is 27:55 no better way to exploring the bible than in the 27:59 Discover Bible Guides. 28:00 call our toll-free number at 1-877-BOL-OFFER. 28:04 That's 1-877-265-6333, and ask for the Discover 28:09 Bible Guides. 28:10 Or you may write to Breath of Life, 28:12 Box 340 Newbury Park, CA 91319 28:15 The righteous will be able to look over the books and see 28:20 who's been naughty and who's been nice. 28:24 And God shall wipe away all |
