00:19 (Music) So let's talk now
00:22 about the devil's vacation.
00:24 What is the devil's vacation all about?
00:26 Christ's second coming signals the beginning of
00:32 what we call the Millennium.
00:33 Everybody say millennium.
00:35 Or the 1,000-year period.
00:37 Because millennium means 1,000 years.
00:40 Now, let's be clear.
00:41 This resurrection which begins the Millennium,
00:44 is a resurrection of the righteous.
00:49 Go back to Revelation 20, let's look at the Word.
00:52 Revelation 20:5.
00:53 If you have it, let me hear you say Amen.
00:55 The Word says in Revelation 20:5, But the rest
00:59 of the what? Dead live not again until the
01:01 thousand years were what?
01:02 Finished. This is the first resurrection.
01:06 Verse 6: Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the what?
01:11 First resurrection.
01:13 On such the second death hath no what? Power,
01:16 but they shall be priests of God and of Christ,
01:22 and shall reign with him for erfdy?
01:22 how long, Now, as I read this text,
01:27 analytically I read it, I understand a few things.
01:30 Number one, the text says, "Blessed and holy is he that
01:33 hath part in the first resurrection," which
01:37 suggests to me there is more than one resurrection.
01:39 The text also says that it's not a good thing if there is a
01:44 second death.
01:47 Which then suggests to me there's more than one death.
01:51 We know fr>7 the text we just read that there are at least
01:55 two resurrections.
01:56 And we know from the text we have just read that there are
01:59 at least two deaths.
02:01 Now, we're clear, at Jesus' second coming
02:04 there is a resurrection.
02:06 The dead in Christ rise what? First .
02:09 The Bible is clear that the righteous dead,
02:12 the righteous living, who are both alive,
02:15 the Bible said that they shall live and reign with Christ
02:18 for how many years?
02:20 A thousand years.
02:21 Now go with me to the book of John.
02:23 What book did I say, everybody?
02:24 Go with me to the book of John, and we're going
02:25 to John, chapter 5.
02:27 Now, remember, I said the text in Revelation points to the
02:31 fact that there must be two resurrections.
02:34 John, chapter 5, and we're going to verses 28 and 29.
02:41 John 5:28-29.
02:46 The Word of God says, Jesus himself speaking,
02:50 Marvel not at this.
02:53 For the hour is what?
02:55 Coming, in which all that are in the grave shall
02:58 hear his what?
03:00 Now stop right there.
03:02 That lets me know that Satan does not have
03:04 resurrection power.
03:05 Because the Bible says the day is coming that all that are in
03:08 the grave shall hear the voice of Jesus.
03:10 Are you hearing what I'm saying, everybody?
03:12 Verse 29, and shall come forth, they that have done
03:16 good, unto the resurrection of what?
03:18 Life, and they that have done evil unto the resurrection
03:22 of what, everybody?
03:23 Damnation.
03:24 Now, if there are going to be two resurrections, and the
03:26 Bible says in Revelation 20, blessed and holy is he that
03:29 hath part in the first resurrection, being a part of
03:31 the first resurrection is a good thing, because at
03:34 Jesus' second coming, which is the first
03:36 resurrection, the Bible says that the dead in Christ
03:39 shall rise first.
03:41 So if Big Mama doesn't rise first, that's a problem.
03:49 Are you hearing what I'm saying today?
03:52 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in
03:53 the first resurrection.
03:54 So, Pastor, what are we saying?
03:55 Go back to Revelation 20.
03:56 Pastor Byrd, what are we saying?
03:58 Go back to Revelation 20, let's see what the
04:00 Word of God says.
04:01 Understand, the resurrection of the righteous.
04:07 The resurrection of the what, everybody?
04:09 Righteous, which happens at the second coming.
04:11 It happens at the what time?
04:13 The resurrection of the righteous at the second coming
04:16 of Jesus begins the 1,000-year period we call the Millennium.
04:23 Then we recognize that the resurrection of the wicked,
04:26 because the Bible says in Revelation 20:5, the rest of
04:31 the dead live not again until the thousand years were what?
04:33 Finished.
04:35 At the end of the 1,000 years, there's going to be another
04:40 resurrection.
04:41 It will be the resurrection of the wicked, because John 5
04:45 already told us that there are two resurrections: a good one
04:48 and a bad one.
04:50 One to eternal life, one to eternal damnation.
04:54 At the second coming of Jesus there is the resurrection
04:59 of the righteous.
05:00 Then we have 1,000 years.
05:03 At the end of the 1,000 years, there's another resurrection,
05:06 and it's the resurrection of the wicked.
05:10 So we have resurrection of righteous, 1,000 years, and
05:15 then the resurrection of the wicked.
05:17 Pastor Byrd, what does the Bible say?
05:21 You're always saying, know what you believe, know why you
05:23 believe it, know where it's found.
05:25 We know what happens at the beginning of the 1,000 years,
05:27 we know what happens at the end of the 1,000 years.
05:30 Pastor Byrd, what happens during the 1,000 years?
05:35 Go with me to Jeremiah.
05:36 What book, everybody?
05:38 Let's get some Word in you.
05:40 Come on, say Amen.
05:41 RBLet's get some Word.
05:43 If it's in the Word, it deserves to be heard.
05:46 Jeremiah.
05:47 What book did I say, everybody?
05:49 And we're going to chapter 4. Jeremiah,
05:55 chapter 4, verse 23.
06:01 Jeremiah 4:23.
06:02 Take your Bibles with me, go to Jeremiah 4:23.
06:09 The prophet prophesied that what transpires during the
06:12 1,000 years.
06:13 The Bible says in Jeremiah 4:23, And I beheld the Earth,
06:19 and lo, it was without form and what, everybody?
06:22 Void.
06:23 And the heavens, and they had no what?
06:26 Life.
06:26 Go to verse 24.
06:28 I beheld the mountains, and lo, they trembled, and all the
06:30 hills moved lightly.
06:32 Verse 25.
06:33 I beheld, and lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the
06:36 heavens were fled.
06:37 Verse 26.
06:38 And I beheld, and lo, the fruitful place was a
06:41 wilderness and all the cities thereof were broken down at
06:44 the presence of the Lord and by the fierce what?
06:47 Anger.
06:48 Verse 28.
06:49 For this shall the Earth mourn, and the heavens shall
06:53 be black, because I hath spoken it, I have purposed it,
06:58 and will not repent, neither, God says, will I return back
07:01 from it.
07:04 So we recognize during the 1,000 years, during the
07:08 6'llennium, the Earth will be in total devastation.
07:12 There will be no people alive on the Earth.
07:17 When the individuals die at the brightness of Jesus'
07:20 second coming, understand, there will be no funeral home
07:24 or undertaker to get the body and bury them.
07:27 Because everybody, if you weren't resurrected as a
07:32 righteous individual, or caught up to meet the Lord in
07:34 the air, you died if you were alive at the brightness of
07:37 Jesus' coming.
07:38 The Earth is just a mess.
07:42 Okay, Pastor Byrd, we recognize that Satan is the
07:47 antithesis of Jesus.
07:49 Satan has been warring with Jesus forever.
07:51 You've made it clear that Jesus, because he loves us and
07:54 died to save us, he's coming back at his second coming to
07:57 get us. You've made it clear that the dead in Christ are
08:00 going to rise, the righteous living
08:03 are going to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, the
08:05 wicked living are going to die at the brightness of his
08:07 coming, the wicked dead are going to remain dead.
08:09 That's what happens at the ond coming.R
08:11 N There's a first resurrection.
08:14 Then you've made it clear that there are 1,000 years,
08:16 and at the end of the 1,000 years there is a second
08:19 resurrection where the wicked dead are resurrected.
08:24 But what is Satan doing all this time?
08:28 Go back to Revelation 20.
08:30 What is Satan during this time?
08:33 Revelation 20:1.
08:35 Know what you believe, know why you believe it, know where
08:37 it's found.
08:38 Revelation 20:1-3.
08:43 The Word of God says to us, And I saw an angel come down
08:48 from where, everybody?
08:50 Having the key of the bottomless what?
08:52 Pit, and a great chain in his what?
08:54 Hand.
08:55 Verse 2, And he lay hold on the what?
08:57 Dragon, that old serpent which is the devil and Satan, and
09:01 bound him for how many years?
09:03 Verse 3, And cast him to the bottom of the pits.
09:07 Shut him up.
09:09 Thank you, Jesus.
09:10 Set a seal upon him.
09:11 I told you Satan is no match for Jesus.
09:13 That he should not deceive the nations anymore,
09:16 so that the thousand years should be fulfilled,
09:18 the Bible says, and after that, the Bible says, he
09:20 will be loosed for a little season.
09:23 Understand what's going on.
09:25 During the 1,000 years, Satan's going to be bound.
09:29 Satan, if you will, is going to be on vacation.
09:33 Well, Pastor, what do you mean, Satan's on vacation?
09:36 Satan will be on vacation because you know as you go on
09:39 vacation, you're not supposed to work
09:41 when you're on vacation.
09:44 Satan will be unable to do his primary work during the
09:46 thousand years.
09:47 He's on vacation because all the righteous are in heaven
09:51 and all the wicked are what?
09:52 Dead, here on this what?
09:54 Earth.
09:55 He will not be able to deceive anybody.
09:59 Satan will be on vacation.
10:01 Satan will not be able to do his primary work.
10:07 All right, so Pastor Byrd, at Jesus' second coming
10:11 there's a resurrection of the righteous.
10:16 During the 1,000 years, the Earth is in a total mess.
10:22 The righteous are in heaven, the wicked are dead here on
10:25 this Earth, Satan can deceive no one, he's on vacation
10:28 because there's no one to deceive.
10:31 But then at the end of the 1,000 years, the Bible is very
10:35 clear that there is a second resurrection of the wicked.
10:40 Now, Pastor Byrd, during the 1,000 years we know what Satan
10:43 is doing, but what are the righteous doing in heaven?
10:47 Go to verse 4 of Revelation 20.
10:51 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment
10:55 was given to them.
10:56 And I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the
10:58 witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and which had not
11:02 worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had
11:05 received his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands,
11:07 and they lived and reigned with Christ for one thousand
11:12 years.
11:13 Which means from this text, the righteous will be in
11:16 heaven, thank you, Jesus, reigning with Jesus.
11:18 But we also see that judgment was given unto them in heaven.
11:23 Let's read a little further.
11:23 Go to verse 12.
11:25 The Word of God says in Revelation 20:12, And I saw
11:29 the dead, small and great, stand before God and the books
11:35 were what?
11:36 Opened.
11:38 And another book was what?
11:39 Opened, which is the book of life,
11:41 and the dead were judged out of those things which were
11:43 written in the books according to their what, everybody?
11:45 Works.
11:46 Verse 13, And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and
11:51 death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them,
11:54 and they were judged, every man according to their what?
11:59 Works.
12:02 The righteous during the 1,000 years will be participating in
12:07 judgment.
12:09 The righteous will be able to look over the books and see
12:12 who's been naughty and who's been nice.
12:16 The righteous will be in heaven reigning for Jesus
12:19 Christ, and they will look over the books, and this is
12:23 for the benefit of the righteous.
12:26 Why is this for the benefit of the righteous?
12:27 This is for the benefit of the righteous because, remember,
12:29 Satan's claim has been that God is not fair, that God is
12:33 unjust, that God is a tyrant.
12:37 But when the righteous participate in the millennial
12:40 judgment, they will be able to look over the books and see
12:43 why everybody got their just reward, and see how many times
12:48 chance after chance after chance after chance that God
12:51 was trying to save his people.
12:53 Second coming of Jesus.
12:59 First resurrection.
13:02 The dead in Christ rise what?
13:04 First.
13:05 The righteous living are caught up to meet the Lord in
13:08 the what?
13:09 Air.
13:10 The wicked living die at the brightness of his what?
13:12 Coming.
13:14 The wicked dead remain what?
13:15 Dead.
13:16 They remain dead for how many years, everybody?
13:18 A thousand years.
13:20 During the 1,000 years the Earth is a mess.
13:24 Satan is on vacation.
13:26 Satan can deceive no one because everyone on Earth is
13:29 what?
13:30 Dead.
13:31 where?
13:33 Heaven.
13:35 Participating in what?
13:35 Judgment.
13:37 At the end of the 1,000 years, the Bible speaks of a second
13:41 resurrection, and the Bible says that it's at that
13:45 resurrection that the wicked will be resurrected.
13:49 Well, Pastor, how do we know that?
13:50 Go back to Revelation 20:5.
13:52 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand
13:56 years were what?
13:58 Finished.
13:58 This is the first resurrection.
14:00 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first
14:02 resurrection; on such the second death hath no what?
14:06 Power.
14:09 Go to Revelation 21, verse 2.
14:12 RBJohn says, talking about what takes place at the end of the
14:16 1,000 years, John Ns, "And I, John, saw
14:21 New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,
14:27 prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
14:30 And I heard a great voice out of heaven, verse 3, saying,
14:32 behold the tabernacle of God is with men.
14:34 And he will dwell with them and they shall be his people.
14:37 And God himself shall be with them and be their what,
14:41 everybody?
14:42 God.
14:43 Then verse 4, I get happy about that, And God shall wipe
14:46 away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no
14:51 more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be
14:54 any more pain, for the former things are what, everybody?
14:57 Passed.
14:59 Verse 20 says, And he carried me away in the spirit to a
15:01 great and high mountain, and he showed me that great city,
15:05 the holy Jerusalem, descending out of hKCven from whom,
15:12 everybody?
15:13 From God.
15:14 So we recognize, oh, this is getting good, man messed up.
15:18 So God had to send Jesus the first time.
15:21 The first time Jesus had to come to save his people.
15:25 But even after Jesus saved the people he had to go and die on
15:28 the cross.
15:29 And understand, since Jesus' death man is still messing up.
15:34 But God is not willing that any should perish, but all
15:36 should come to repentance.
15:39 And so God says, one day I'm going to put an end
15:40 to this stuff.
15:42 I'm going to put an end to this madness, and at my second
15:45 coming, I'm going to get my people.
15:48 The dead in Christ are going to rise first.
15:50 We which are alive and remain will be caught up to meet the
15:53 Lord in the air.
15:54 The wicked living will die at the brightness of his coming.
15:56 The wicked dead will remain dead.
15:59 We recognize for a thousand years the Earth will be a
16:01 mess.
16:02 Satan will be on vacation.
16:04 He will be bound by a set of circumstances.
16:07 We understand the righteous will participate in judgment.
16:10 And then at the third coming, Jesus has already come to save
16:15 his people, Jesus has already come to get his people.
16:20 Jesus the third time, at the d of the 1,000 years, is
16:23 coming back with his people.
16:30 You all hear what I'm saying?
16:32 So that's what happens to the people of God.
16:33 Jesus is coming back the third time with his people.
16:36 First time, save his people.
16:38 Second time, coming to get his people.
16:41 Third time coming back with his people.
16:45 What happens to Satan after the thousand years are
16:49 finished?
16:49 Go to Revelation 20:7.
16:50 The Word of God says, "And when the thousand years are
16:55 expired, Satan shall be what?
16:59 Loosed out of his what, everybody?
17:01 Prison.
17:02 In other words, Satan's vacation is going to be over.
17:05 Satan will be loosed out of his prison at the end of the
17:09 1,000 years.
17:10 So at the end of the 1,000 years, we recognize, the Word
17:13 of God is very clear, that the wicked dead are going to be
17:17 resurrected.
17:18 We also recognize that the New Jerusalem, Jesus Christ and
17:21 his people are going to be coming back to this Earth.
17:24 But we also recognize that Satan is going to be loosed
17:28 for just a little while.
17:29 Has Satan had a change of heart? Go to verse 8
17:35 of Revelation 20.
17:36 Let's get some more Word.
17:36 Know what you believe, know why you believe it, know where
17:38 it's found.
17:38 And shall go out to do what, everybody?
17:40 Deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the
17:43 what, everybody?
17:44 Earth.
17:44 Gog and what?
17:45 Magog, together them together to what, everybody?
17:47 Battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the what?
17:50 Sea.
17:51 That means a whole lot of folk going to be wicked.
17:57 The sand of the sea.
17:59 Somebody say, well, Pastor, what you preach is not popular.
18:01 You've got to preach what thus saith the Lord, because
18:03 you can't be popular and prophetic at the same time.
18:07 You got to preach the unadulterated Word of God.
18:09 Know what you believe, why you believe it, where it's found.
18:11 What does the Word of God say?
18:12 The Word of God says that when the wicked dead are
18:15 resurrected, Satan is loosed out of his prison, Satan is
18:18 going to try to deceive one more time.
18:21 Well, Pastor, how could Satan deceive again?
18:24 I mean, all the righteous are in heaven, yes, the wicked are
18:27 alive, but what do you mean, Pastor Byrd, that he's going
18:30 to deceive again?
18:31 I can hear one of his greatest deceptions.
18:32 Well, not me hear, but I can think
18:36 one of his greatest deceptions.
18:39 I resurrected you.
18:44 I mean, just think about that.
18:45 Expand your mind.
18:47 Satan: I resurrected you.
18:49 Now, remember, they see no righteous.
18:52 They see no Jesus.
18:54 They are resurrected.
18:55 Satan is walking out of his prison, he's loose now,
18:58 vacation time is over.
18:59 Satan, I can imagine him saying, I resurrected you.
19:05 Let's go now to the four corners of the Earth.
19:08 We can overtake God.
19:10 We can overtake God in the person of Jesus Christ and the
19:14 righteous.
19:18 What happens when Satan and his followers go
19:20 to capture the holy city?
19:22 Verse 9. And they went up on the breath of the Earth,
19:27 encompassed or circled the camp of the saints
19:30 úúovw the beloved city.
19:32 And fire came down from God out of heaven.
19:40 Now remember, at the flood and after
19:42 the flood the Lord said, it won't be water.
19:45 But fire next time.
19:49 The Bible is clear that fire came down from God and
19:53 devoured them.
19:54 What happens next?
19:55 Verse 10: And the devil that deceived them was cast into
20:02 the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast
20:06 and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day
20:11 and night forever and ever.
20:15 Hallelujah, somebody.
20:16 The Biblical definition of forever is as long as one
20:21 shall live.
20:23 What is this fire called?
20:24 Go to verse 14:@ And death and hell were
20:28 cast into the lake of fire.
20:31 This is the what number death?
20:33 Second death.
20:34 And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life
20:37 was cast into the lake of what, everybody?
20:40 Fire.
20:42 That lets me know, I don't want to be a part of the
20:45 second death.
20:48 You don't want to be a part of the second death.
20:51 No, no, no.
20:54 You see, understand, a righteous person, at most,
20:57 will die one time.
21:01 A righteous person, at most, will die one time.
21:06 There will be some righteous individuals who will never see
21:09 death because at Jesus' second coming the dead in
21:12 Christ are going to rise first.
21:15 But if an individual dies a second time, woe be unto them.
21:22 Know what you believe, know why you believe it, know where
21:24 it's found.
21:25 Because every wicked person will die at least twice.
21:29 They will die an Earthly death and remain dead at Jesus'
21:32 second coming, or at Jesus' second coming the brightness
21:35 of the sky, the sun, will blind them and destroy them.
21:39 Pastor Byrd, what does all this mean?
21:43 Well, know what you believe, know why you believe it, know
21:45 where it's found.
21:47 Pastor, but I understand that at Jesus' second coming the
21:50 dead in Christ rise first.
21:53 I understand at Jesus' second coming, that's the
21:55 first resurrection, and then also I understand that the
21:58 righteous who are alive and remain will be caught up to
22:00 meet the Lord in the air.
22:01 I understand, Pastor Byrd, that group number three, the
22:04 wicked living, will die at the brightness of Jesus' coming.
22:06 I also understand that group number four, the wicked dead,
22:08 will remain dead.
22:09 I understand that during the 1,000 years the Earth will be
22:12 in total devastation.
22:14 I understand that Satan will be on vacation.
22:16 He will not be able to deceive anyone again during that
22:18 period, because the righteous will be in heaven
22:21 participating in judgment, and the wicked will be dead here
22:24 on this Earth.
22:25 I also understand, Pastor Byrd, that at the end of the
22:28 1,000 years there's a second resurrection.
22:31 I understand that the wicked are resurrected again, Jesus
22:33 and his people are coming back to this Earth, the holy city
22:37 at that time is going to descend, and during the 1,000
22:41 years the righteous are not going to be able to pray their
22:44 wicked loved ones off Earth.
22:49 No purgatory.
22:52 That's not in scripture.
22:53 Know what you believe, know why you believe it, know where
22:54 it's found.
22:55 The wicked dead will be resurrected, the New Jerusalem
22:59 will descend, Satan will be loosed out of his prison, he
23:04 will seek to deceive the wicked into thinking they can
23:08 overtake Jesus, his people and the New Jerusalem, and then
23:10 God's going to rain down fire, and that will be ú@
23:15 the second death.
23:20 Pastor Byrd, I understand, it makes sense.
23:22 But Pastor Byrd, why would Jesus, at the end of the 1,000
23:27 years, resurrected wicked folk only for them to die again?
23:35 Why would Jesus resurrect a @@ dead wicked person again at
23:40 the end of the 1,000 years, at the time of the third coming,
23:43 for them to only have to be destroyed by fire?
23:49 Let's expand our minds.
23:52 When Jesus comes back the third time, at the end of the
23:57 1,000 years, this will be the only time, and listen to me
24:01 carefully, get this word, this will be the only time in
24:05 Earth's history where everyone who has ever lived on
24:08 planet Earth, we will all be alive at the same time.@ @
24:14 At the end of the 1,000 years, remember now, the righteous
24:17 are alive because they're descending out of heaven.
24:20 The wicked have been resurrected.
24:21 So everybody who has ever lived, Carlton Byrd,
24:26 Barak Obama, Adolf Hitler, Alexander the Great,
24:30 everyone who has ever lived, this is the only
24:33 time in Earth's history that we will all be alive at the
24:37 same time.
24:40 What is the significance of that? You see,
24:44 when Jesus comes back for the third time, he's
24:47 coming back with his people.
24:49 Satan would have deceived all the other people into
24:52 thinking, oh, this is a bunch of hogwash, this is not real,
24:56 all that which you've read, all that which is
24:57 said in the Bible.
24:58 But all those people who laughed at Jesus, all those
25:03 people who ridiculed people who were followers of Jesus,
25:07 it must come to pass, the prophecy that was foretold
25:11 years ago, that we're all alive at the same time because
25:15 the prophecy must come to pass that there shall be one day
25:19 where every knee shall bow, every tongue must confess that
25:25 Jesus the Christ is Lord.
25:29 We will all be alive at the same time because we shall
