afraid of the judgment

I mean because it
just sounds scary,

I mean God is judging.

We know that there
are angels that record

all of our
actions, all of our things
00:00:41.71\00:00:44.26
that we have done
and sad and of course
00:00:44.27\00:00:47.49
because Jesus came
and died on the cross,
00:00:47.50\00:00:50.36
we can ask for
forgiveness for those things.

And he forgives us.

But still because
there are so many things

that you doing say
throughout your lifetime.

I think, Satan
still tends to tempt us to

fear the judgment of
God and so we're going to

take a look at the
judgment at during this program

and it is our
prayer that by the end

you will not be fearful
of the judgment any longer

book of Revelation

verse 6 and 7 speaks of

what we call the
first angels message

and the message
is basically saying

fear God and give go to him.

The word fear there doesn't mean

to be afraid of it
means to honor and reverence.

So it says fear
God and give go to him

for the hour of
His Judgment is come.

We believe we're living in that

judgment time right now
and we want to understand,

we want to be able to know,

how can we make it
through that judgment,

how can we pass
the judgment scene

and the be found not
having our own righteousness

having His righteousness.

God's Judicial System.

How the judgment
works so that we can

understand and be prepared

as we begin our
study, Daniel Chapter 7

and we are going to
begin reading from verse 9

and I want to give a
little bit of context here.

If you read the
verses preceding verse 9,

you see that
Daniel is having a vision
00:02:28.52\00:02:30.63
of earthly
powers coming into play.

And after he
sees a line of powers

different nations or
kingdoms rising into power.

His view is suddenly
moved from things on earth

to something
happening in heaven.

So this lets us now
that this, you know,

this scene is not the
second coming of Christ

this happens before the
second coming of Christ.

Daniel is looking at
things happening on earth

and then suddenly he sees
something happening in heaven.

And this, what we are about
is read is a judgment scene.

Chapter 7 verse 9.

"I beheld till the
thrones were cast down,

and the Ancient of days did sit,
00:03:11.18\00:03:13.34
whose garment was white as snow,
00:03:13.35\00:03:15.39
and the hair of his
head like the pure wool,
00:03:15.40\00:03:18.89
his throne was
like the fiery flame,
00:03:18.90\00:03:20.94
and his wheels as burning fire.
00:03:20.95\00:03:23.38
A fiery stream
issued and came forth

from before him
thousands ministered unto him,

and ten thousand
times ten thousand

stood before him
the judgment was set,

and the books were opened.

Alright, so the Bible is here

describing a judgment scene,

the ancient of
days that would be God

himself is seen taking his seat

and thousands upon
thousands are surrounding him.

Now these
thousands represents angels,

because
remember Daniel is seeing

this happen
while at the same time

earthly kingdoms are
rising and falling in power.

Daniel's vision
is then taken upward

and he sees this judgment scene,

God surrounded by
a red new of angels

and then the Bible
says the books were opened,

the judgment was set
or the judgment began.

Yeah, that's the part
that always sounds scary.

God, God is about to

what's in those books

record of our lives.

judgment is all over

record of our lives

done is in the books.

The book of Ecclesiastes

keep his commandments

for this is the
whole duty of man.

For God will bring every work

into judgment with
every secret thing,

or whether it be evil.

the question is asked

why does God need books?

Bible clearly tells us

we should not judge.

But this tells us
something very powerful,

the angels in heaven

So angels in
heaven have to trust God

when he says the
thief on the cross,

he is gonna be in heaven. Right.

When he says that
person who lived--

a life of just pure crookedness

and then on their deathbed,

in their heart
will nobody could hear.

That person said
in their heart Lord,

forgive me,
I've lived at life of

total wickedness and I see,

Those silent confessions
angels can't read that.

So just imagine when
God is saying to the angels,

in the book of life.

Angels are going,
well, what we seeing,

tells us something
different but God we trust you.

And God says
trust me because one day

I'm going to open the books.

Which will prove to you.

that the angels are doubting.

But God is such a
fear God that he is not

going to say, hey, I'm God

He opens the book
and he allows the angels

to see every decision that
he made and why he made it.

There is a very important reason

books because he wants

are gathered around and they
are going over the books why?

God is basically
sense of the angels, angels.

invite, humanity into

your society, into our society.

Not just imagine
that you have a, you know,

maximum security
prison where you live

and a decision that is made that

there are gonna let up all the,
all the in made of the prison.

you feel about that?

Yes, I would be
afraid, I hated that.

Right, well, think about it
God is saying to the angles,

I'm inviting humanity
up into our atmosphere and,

environment into our society

and so what this judgment
does is God open the book

and He allows the
angles to see His decisions.

And at the end of that judgment.

That judgment
He's all ready made.

true or that ways of God

were cast out with him.

here, Satan is the prosecutor,

I mean Satan is the prosecution.

And many people look at God

look at the fear God

This is the work of
Satan, he is the accuser,

trying to get us lost.

this offering forgiveness
