of these different reformers

and then finally, the Seventh
Adventist Church in 1844.

And so we are just so
excited about what God is doing

and what He has
done and what He wants

to continue to do in
each and everyone of us.

That's right. We've been
looking at this blueprint

and how it laid out
the plan of salvation.

And in particular, how Lucifer,

how Satan
attacked this blueprint

restored a particular truth.

And so we're gonna
pickup with that final truth

that was to be
restored, which was found

in the Most Holy Place
of the Sanctuary of God.

The blueprint of
God and that dealt

Covenant or the law of God.

closing of earth's history.

The Bible here is speaking
in particular of this prophecy,

which we call the
2,300 Day Prophecy.

And Bible says in verse 13,

"Then I heard
one saint speaking,

and another saint said
unto that certain saint

which speak, how
long shall be the vision

concerning the daily sacrifice,

and the
transgression of desolation,

to give both the sanctuary

and the host to be
trodden under foot?"

Let me rephrase this question.

Basically what's being
asked here in this vision is,

how long would this little horn,

this power, this
desolating power,

how long would it
be able to practice

and prosper in its deception?

How long would it be
able to keep these truths,

that the Sanctuary taught
the truth about Salvation,

the truth about
Christ's intersession

as our high priest, the
truth about the law of God,

how long would it
be able to withhold
00:03:35.10\00:03:37.38
these truths from humanity?

And the answer
comes back in verse 14,

"He said unto
me, unto two thousand

and three hundred days,

then shall the
sanctuary be cleansed."

shall the Sanctuary be restored.

Again what we've seen according

to Bible prophecy
one day equals a year.

This is a 2,300 year prophecy.

The prophecy began in
457 BC and ends in 1844 AD.

And basically this is
what we've seen is that

these truths that were
cast down during the Dark Ages

were ultimately
restored by that very year 1844.

That's the year
that we might say

the nucleus of the
Adventist Church began.

It's the year that a
group of people from every,

almost every
denomination that was present

at that time began studying
this particular prophecy.

The prophecy of the 2,300 years

and they unanimously
came to the conclusion

that something very special
was going to happen in 1844,

have one person coming up

1844 and the years prior

was that people from
different denominations.

From all around the world.

very prophecy and all came

to the conclusion that something

was gonna happen
in that very year.

And so, we understand now that
the sanctuary being cleansed

or restored was a
prophecy pointing forward

to the fact that the
truths that had been cast down

during the Dark Ages
would be fully restored by 1844.

And this was the final truth
that needed to be restored.

truth that was found

in the Ark of
Covenant, the law of God,

Sabbath commandment

This happened
during the Dark Ages

and it was the final
piece of truth to be restored.

have the rising up

Seventh-day Adventist church

to push that particular truth

along with all the other truths

away during the Dark Ages.

The truth of Christ's
sacrifice being sufficient

for our forgiveness,
the truth of baptism

signified by the Laver

All these things were

But there's something

in terms of the
sanctuary being cleansed here.

You see, the cleansing of
the sanctuary was synonymous,

in the Jewish
mind it was synonymous

with the Day of Atonement,

which was
actually a day of judgment.

A day of
judgment. So this prophecy

not only points
forward to the fact that,

that all the truths
that had been cast down

during the Dark Ages would
be finally restored by 1844,

but also in that very
year judgment was to begin.

the Book of Revelation

Here's an angel seen
flying in the midst of heaven

I think that's significant.

Because you see prior to 1844

the gospel was
still being restored.

It was not the full
gospel because of all the damage

that had been done to
it during the Dark Ages

by the church of the Dark Ages.

Teaching, you know, penance
you know in order to be--

forgiven you have to pay.

traditions over the word of God.

to ask for forgiveness

instead of going
to Christ himself.

And so, and the law
of God being altered.

All these truths

the full gospel was not present.

this message going forth

since the final restoration,

the everlasting gospel

Well, what is that
gospel, where is it found?

is in the sanctuary."

Why do we need God's way?

Because humanity is lost,

and we're trying to
find the way back to God.

This angel is symbolically
seen flying through heaven

with the way if you will.

The gospel as it is found

and laid out in
the sanctuary message.

You know what I
love about this so much

is that each
church or each reformer,

they represented a church

at that current time
that they're following.

God impressed them, the
Holy Spirit impressed them

that, you know, this
truth had been lost and they,

you know, moved
forward and restoring

and teaching this truth.

And as, you know,
the Altar of Sacrifice

and then the Laver and

They didn't
leave anything behind,

new truth for now

and so we're just
gonna march with this.

Incorporated everything and
it just shows the unity of God

and just the direction of God

and the leading

That's right, well, verse
7 tells us that this angel,

the message this
angel comes with is this,

In other words,
this is telling us

that the judgment has begun,

the judgment is going forward

and it only makes
sense because before Christ

comes again there has
to have been a judgment.

If He's coming to
take His saints with Him,

because they wanna get what?

Wise. Wise. They
wanna get wisdom.

That's what the book is
about, it's the book of wisdom.

Proverbs 1
verse 7 tells us this,

"The fear of the Lord is
the beginning of knowledge

but fools despise
wisdom and instruction."

Very interesting verse,

you see Revelation
Chapter 14 verse 7 tells us,

the angel tells us, "Fear God."

Well, what does
it mean to fear God?

The book of Proverbs tells us,

"That the fear of the Lord

is the beginning of
knowledge or wisdom."

Wisdom. We wanna be wise. Right.

And wisdom is the fear of God.

God says, "Be wise."
He says don't be foolish,

now what does it
means to be foolish?

To be not wise. To not be wise.

It means to be confused,

that Babylon has fallen.

Now what does the
word Babylon mean?

What Babylon means? Confusion.

looking for directions

So what we have
here is a distinction,

message is really calling us

to make a decision as to
whether we want to be wise

Now, I want to be wise,

all want to be wise,

we don't want to be foolish

books in the Bible to read,

Proverbs
Chapter 1 verse 8 and 9.

Same Chapter Proverbs 1 and
look at the very next verses.

It says, "My son, hear
the instruction of thy father,

and forsake not
the law of thy mother,

for they shall be an
ornament of grace unto thy head,

and chains about thy neck."

Okay, very interesting,
one of the first things

that the Book of
Proverbs instructs us

in terms of wisdom is about law.

Keep the law because
it'll be an ornament of grace

find that quite interesting.

People seem to
make this distinction

between law and grace.

But Proverbs says that the law

Proverbs Chapter 2,

and how she's favored
