using the creation week,

God talks about in Genesis

how He can actually do that

the issue of this beast

the French Revolution

that evolution was
one of the teachings

that sprung out of
the French Revolution.

the purpose of evolution

is to discredit
the creation account.

It is to cause people

of what he is trying to do

beast from Revelation.

saw that this beast

arose out from the abyss
and, the abyss takes us back

to that place where the world
was before it was inhabitable,

or rather in a habitable state.

We notice that this
principle of evolution,

while it may be rejected
by Christians, and it should,

because evolution just teaches
that we got here somehow,

is a spiritual evolution

terms of trying to manipulate

carry the word "creation"

In other words, when God
recreates us, He calls us

And that links us to the
seven-day week of creation.

man, to recreate those who

only to discredit the

but also to stop the process

So, let's go to Genesis 1.

First thing in creation,
and the first thing we notice

is that the earth was

upon the face of the deep.

- And that's how we
are when God finds us;

our hearts and our lives to Him

there's lots of darkness.

there're things we don't

understand, we're living
in a way that's anti-God,

anti-Bible and we're just
really walking in darkness.

Proverbs 4:19 says:
'The way of the wicked is

as darkness. They know
not at what they stumble.'

And we see here that this
principle of being anti...

I know from me,
before I became a Christian

there was a realization that
all that I had was emptiness,

was without form, it was void,

and this feeling is the
first feeling that comes upon

a person in the
process of salvation.

Before they know who the
light is, they get this feeling

of emptiness.
Something is missing.

- And we can also say
that that's the Holy Spirit

moving upon someone,
because we don't just create

that in ourselves.
Without the Holy Spirit

we wouldn't know that we
were void and in darkness.

by looking back, remember

you felt the Spirit
of God beginning to hover

upon the face deep, as it were,

you and bring this realization

I believe that,
once you've come to

the state of realizing that
all that the world has to offer,

Holy Spirit doing that.

Holy Spirit first started

talking to my heart.

I was in college, and
I would be at clubs and

living and feeling very
empty, and listening to music,

and going to
movies that were not

at a fine or uplifting God

and feeling really empty inside.

- That' s right.
And then, once that

emptiness becomes a reality,
once you realize this is empty,

I need something more,
that's when, I believe, Atonte,

'Let there be light!'.

Corinthians 4:6 and it says:

to shine out of darkness

that process of salvation

why the enemy, through his

is trying to stop you from

even getting to the
place where you say:

'You know what? This is empty.'

That's why he tries to
make the world seem 'Oh, this is

so exciting, it's so
fun', because, once we come

to the realization
that 'Man, this empty',

we are on the way to salvation,

we are on the way to
being recreated in Christ.

God says: 'Let there be
light' and the Bible says

'there was light'.

All of a sudden
you begin to see things

that you didn't see
before and feel ways that

you didn't feel
before. You begin to see

'Wait a minute, there's
a clear difference between

what? Light and darkness.'

- I can remember always
listening to secular music

during the week,
and then, on Sabbath,

I would put on Christian
music because it was the Sabbath

and I wanted to worship God,
but when this light came on,

as we're talking
about, I started to listen to
00:08:11.65\00:08:14.96
godly music all
throughout the week.
00:08:15.00\00:08:17.35
It was like my desire
for that secular music
00:08:17.38\00:08:20.24
was being
transferred to more godly music
00:08:20.28\00:08:23.03
and that's when I knew
something was happening
00:08:23.06\00:08:24.84
into my life. I remember a
friend stopping me and saying:
00:08:24.88\00:08:27.15
'You're listening to
church music and it's Wednesday.
00:08:27.19\00:08:30.31
You know, it's not
Sabbath!' And I said:
00:08:30.34\00:08:32.17
'You know, this is
what I want to listen now.'
00:08:32.20\00:08:33.79
God does that for us,
He takes away those desires
00:08:33.83\00:08:36.06
and replaces them.
00:08:36.09\00:08:37.52
- That's right. So, He
says 'Let there be light'

which now takes
us to day number 2.

So, why don't we
look at verses 6 to 8.

have, on the second day,

God is now separating
the waters from the waters,

and it is separated by air.

And, it's so interesting,
when we begin to look

at the process of salvation,
when God brings light into

our life, when He
says 'Let there be light',

and we begin to see the
difference between light

and darkness, the
next thing that happens

is that God separates us.

And you would say:
'What does that have to do

with waters?'
Well, if you look at

Revelation 17:15, this
is in a symbolic context,

speaking of waters
upon which the harlot

was seen sitting. And
Revelation 17:15 it says:

we can look at that, and, in
a spiritual context, see that

the very next step in
the process of salvation,

after God shows us what is
light and what is darkness,

He then separates
us from the crowds

we used to hang with.

He then separates us from
the places that we used to go,

from the things we used to
do, He calls us, as it were,

out of the world.

- And that's a powerful
thing, when He does that.

And you'll find that when
God is recreating a new heart,

He will separate you from,
maybe some of your old friends,

not that you don't like them
and you'll treat them badly,

but you just don't have
the same things in common.

kind of realize that,

just distance from you,

but you still pray for
them and you love them.

And, beloved, one of
the things about the air

in the Bible, or wind...

wind is likened
to the Holy Spirit.

And it is only through
and by the Holy Spirit,

the Holy Spirit is what
divides, symbolically speaking,

the waters from the waters.

It is what takes
us out from the world

and allows us
to be separate from

the world. And the Holy Spirit

has a very important part
because it is the thing that

draws us and enables
us to keep that separation

that we used to do.

pray for the Holy Spirit

us the Spirit so we can have

What is right? What is wrong?'

whatever questions you may have.

It's the Holy Spirit
that is going to give you

that discernment.

where Jesus is speaking

And we find there
those two elements

on the second day of
creation: water and air,

water and the

elements of air and water

day 1, day 2, symbolically

saying this happens in 7 days,

speaking, the stir of God

we are born again, as it were,

if they said 'Hy' to

with them about Jesus and
how He can really recreate

a new person within us.

And so, there'll be an
excitement when this happens,

to share with others.

you have fruits being brought

Yes, when God calls
us out of the world,

when God shows us the difference

He calls of us to do

a parable here. It says:

having heard the word, keep it,

and bring forth
fruit with patience."

This group of
people in this parable,

are described as those who
hear the word, who come out

of darkness, who are separated
and who are keeping the Word

and bearing fruit.

And I think of John
15:5 where Jesus says:

"I am the vine, you are the
branches: He that abideth in me
00:16:18.56\00:16:23.05
and I in Him, the same
bringeth forth much fruit:

for without me
you can do nothing."

- And I think "fruit" is
actual things that are changing
00:16:29.11\00:16:33.13
in our life and people can see,
'Hey I can see what's going on,
00:16:33.16\00:16:36.11
there's major changes',
00:16:36.14\00:16:37.26
but also
witnessing to other people.
00:16:37.29\00:16:39.47
I know that, when this
started to happen in my life,
00:16:39.50\00:16:42.16
shortly after I met my
husband Ivor, we would have some
00:16:42.20\00:16:46.10
of the best times going
to minister to other people.
00:16:46.13\00:16:49.17
We would visit people
in a hospital ministry
00:16:49.20\00:16:51.31
and we would love to
minister to and for people
00:16:51.34\00:16:55.35
on Sabbath afternoons,
who were sick in the hospital.
00:16:55.38\00:16:58.35
We would go from door
to door and ask people
00:16:58.38\00:16:59.90
if they wanted
Bible studies or prayer,

all different kinds
of things like that.
00:17:02.15\00:17:04.16
And it was kind of a
full circle, or cycle.

When God is giving
you light and you share it

with other people, you get
the benefits and the blessing.

So, when this
happens you don't stay idle.

You actually
start to bear fruit.

- Right. And that
fruit would also represent

the fruit of righteousness,
but God doesn't only call us

to see the difference between
the light and the darkness,

He doesn't only
call us to come out from

the negative
things that we were doing,

but now He calls us to engage
in a pro-active righteousness,

doing things that are
right and beginning to exercise

righteousness. This is
how we begin to bear fruit.

So, we've got day number
1, we've got day number 2,

we've got day
number 3: bearing fruit.

And now, notice day
number 4. Genesis 1:14 to 18:

exciting because we think about

were in the world,

And I think about the
sun. The Bible describes Jesus

as the Sun of Righteousness.

He is that new light in our
life that helps us to divide

light from darkness.

You see, before, it was just
a matter of 'I think this is

wrong' 'I think this is
right', but now, in Jesus,

He is our dividing
light, and through His teachings

we discern what is
right and what is wrong.

- And it says 'rule',
'it rules over the day'.

And we know the moon
rules over the night.

We've got the Word of
God, the Old Testament
