from a youth. The first School

for any person is in the home
and of course there's a big home

schooling movement today,
Right and that's a great thing.

But a lot of times Christian
Parents will home school their

Kids thinking home school
is just school at home, I'm

going to Yeh teach him Math, I'm
going to teach him Science, etc.

but true Education really is for
the purpose of developing the

character of Christ in
his people. OK, it's really

restoring the image of man
both mentally, physically and

spiritually as man was in

Education has to hit all of
those aspects of life and that's

the School of the Prophets was

something that came up a little
bit later. For those who are a

to 1st Samuel 19 and verse 19

Right and the Bible says here

Now, Ramah was a home of Samuel,
the Prophet at the time, his

scripture that Samuel set up and
established the Schools of the

Prophets. What we have is, it's
inferred here very clearly and

Samuel was over these groups-

this group of Prophets
prophesying, it says Yeh and I

believe if you look through

of the School of the Prophets;

It's like "Oh, well you
go to School and you become a

School of the Prophets were.

Well actually, even in the
terminology with these Prophets

prophesying, many Scholars don't
view this as a- the most literal

or classical definition of a
Prophet like a Jeremiah, like an

Isaiah Right but these were
people who wanted to enter into

the work of the Lord, in
particular the ones we're

dealing with here and Samuel was
wanting to basically raise up

Leaders in Israel because of
all the problems they've had in

Israel, because of the
corruption in society. He wanted

to train people with the pure
principles of godliness that

could help to grow- that
would grow up to be the kind of

Leaders that would help Israel
to be faithful to God. Which

would come to the first
principle. The School of the

Prophets were not just for like
the Jeremiahs and the Isaiahs,

although they certainly could
have been that, Right but they

were to- they were to establish,
and qualify Spiritual Leaders,

that would- because Israel
had become so corrupt and so the

I would say from what we're

right. He's the true Education.

dollars a year, Doctor. It
doesn't matter. All that money

is worthless with not Spiritual

to the profession, but it is

him a paycheck, maybe even in

the case of a Teacher; they like
working with Kids, but when you

Christian Education, you need

somebody that's more than just
somebody who likes to work with

undertook to be the Teacher in

in Third Grade all the way

other two- we had three children

and that was the utmost thing in
my mind was, I guess because I'd

been an Owner of Businesses and
before I got into this Ministry,

the Lord blessed me, I was quite
successful. But I always knew

that- you know I used to get
resumes from people, Engineers

and we had to have Engineers in
different things. So- Right but

you know, just because they took
that class and they majored in

that and they might have been
very good at that, it didn't

mean that they were honest
people. It didn't mean that they

were godly people and so
it didn't mean they were good

workers. It didn't mean they'd
came to work on time. I mean,

the more education they had did
not make them more timely, less

complaining. I mean, it didn't
mean that and and I soon found

that out as an Owner and I had
to go through all these resumes

took classes for Nursing and

thing is I want- I have such a

burden that I want my children
in heaven with me. They have to

make that decision. But why is
it today that we're not- we're

not learning through education?
We're making them successful

Doctor, Lawyer, those are good.

and when we see the upbringing

of Timothy, we look at Parents
who made the priority for the

said that they would know God

and they would worship him. I
mean, think about a person who

becomes whatever- a Doctor
or a Lawyer or an Architect or

whatever, if we go through this
world and we make it through

this world and are relatively
successful in an earthly

business but we lose heaven,
we're a failure. That's right

lives to himself, the Bible says

have influenced others to be

was an essential part of their

being lazy, didn't know how to

work with their hands as well as

is that one statement that says

people that was going to the

you think, "Oh, they're in the

but they were learning practical

It talks about the Prophets
coming down from the mountain

they had. But that was another
thing, is the teaching of the

is a very powerful influence
