When I was 10 years old,

possessed by evil spirits.

me to witch doctor

When I was 16 years old,

spirits were entering me.

river became safe again.

At one point another
set of spirits came into me.

They were from the water
and had power to heal the sick.

They would take me
to the bottom of a river

and there I would communicate

with the spirits
for days at a time,

not even coming up to

Even though I was very powerful,

The spirits
continue to have control

as she was often sick
from their punishments.

Just when she was about to
give up on there being a God

who cares, Ranja met a
Seventh-day Adventist man,

he told her about Jesus,

gave her a Bible.

brought peace to Ranja's heart

and she immediately
started feeling better.

The spirits
were not happy though

and warned Ranja that
bad things would happen

if she left them.

Ranja decided to
choose Jesus anyway.

And the spirits
kept their promise.

that my sister was murdered

and it drove me to anger.

anger turned into rage

while he tried to drown
his problems in alcohol.

Ultimately, his self
destructive behavior progressed

to suicidal thoughts.

I would drink

and at night
sleep on a busy road,

hoping to be run over.

But thankfully, the
police and my friends

would always
return me home safely.

When he would finally wake
up out of his drunken stupor,

he could not
remember how he made it home.

It was in one of these
moments, he heard God's voice.

I heard a voice say, "Who am I?"

I answered, "I don't know."

What's interesting is that

The Holy Spirit urged
him to open his Bible.

Jesus could
fill his empty heart.

So he sought out
an Adventist Church.

And during his studies,

fascinated with the prophecies

of Daniel and Revelation.

I then devoted myself to
teaching others about it.

about the hopeful truths

But what always bothered

Namibia is one of the least

densely populated
countries of the world,

per square kilometer.

One reason for this is
that the average rainfall

some parts of the Sahara.

actually in a predicament

thought if there is no water,

what are we going to do?

of people involved.

lives a young man named David.

part of a Maasai's life
