the righteous life we live

where the doctrines I
believe are very pure,

we don't all live pure lives.

We don't all
live victorious lives.

We have a good
system of beliefs here,

but as one writer once
said, "The longest distance

is between our
heads and our hearts."

What we believe here

and what is
lived out in our hearts

which in fact affects our lives,

it's a long distance.

intellectual Christians.

No one wants to go to

Well, the Christian
life is not a competition

but it is an even
field for everyone.

And what is made available

Every one of us can
find victory in Jesus

So we don't walk around

seven, eight, nine ten."

We don't walk
around with tables of stone

because the Lord
put them in our minds.

So when we think of doing right,

have a conscious mind

as to what is wrong

is because the law
in our minds saying,

and then we have
a body that says,

"I don't care what your
mind says, I ain't doing right,"

because our
nature fights against it.

We have this
nature that Adam gave us,

1 Corinthians 15:22,
"As in Adam all die."

So we have this nature
that we were born with,

that's why babies
when they're born,

they cry incessantly

because they
only have one desire,

to fulfill their selfish needs.

"I need my bottle, I
want my diapers change,

I need comfort, I don't
like what you gave me to eat,"

and they're
continually in controversy.

That nature is
un-regenerated, it's fighting.

And until that
nature is under control,

we're gonna grow up like
babies having a mind that says,

"This is what we should do,"

but our heart that
says, "I don't want to do it."

That's why the Bible says,

"Whatever your hands find to do,

do with all your might,"

where there in Ecclesiastes 9:10

is do it with all your
heart, put your heart into it.

But how you put

when there's a war
between the mind and the heart?

how does the Apostle Paul

slave deliver him or herself?
