And so the key issue is,
not just knowing the doctrines,

So what is our greatest need?

To know the doctrines of
the church or to know Jesus?

When you know Jesus first,
everything else is in context.

then it's good

through many times."

Well, I proceeded to ask
him questions about Revelation.

He read through

Revelation is not a book

He had an intellectual
knowledge of the things

I said, "What is the
focus of Revelation?"

And he begins with
the Revelation of Jesus,

the focus there,
and the Pharisees

an interesting scripture.

verse to say to people

So we don't want to
fall into the same trap,

in the doctrinal
teachings of the Bible,

it's a very reassuring thing

understand these doctrines.

What's more
reassuring than that is that

you know Jesus,

doctrines make sense.

They have a
relationship connection.

So we're going to talk
about Jesus in the real sense,
