the Christian church.

seem to have much say

in the government at all.

that may give the Christians

a less of a difficult time
with the Roman government."

was just a baptized pagan.

become a Christian

but he did that and get this,

he did that in order to
gain access to the Christians.

So he said, if they
see me as their friend,

influence among them.

But since the
church continued to grow

under Roman Emperor
Diocletian's persecution,

law under papal Rome

there was some transitions
that had to take place.

But the Christian church
began to conquer paganism.

stuck to God's Word,

lived out their creeds,

they began to impact paganism,

and paganism was
starting to lose its grip.

But here was the danger,

conquer paganism,

began to conquer them.

There was some
nations Israel went up against

that they conquered,

but then all of a sudden
these practices of that nation

that they conquered began to
be practiced by the Israelites.

So the pagans that
were being conquered

started to affect
the Christian church

that was conquering paganism.

And before, and what
made it easy for this day

to be established in 321 AD
by Roman Emperor Constantine,

is Christians were
starting to embrace practices

that were not in the scripture,

practiced by the apostles,

and one of those was honoring
the first day of the week.

So they had the Sabbath,

then they had the
first day of the week.

And they made the first
day of the week a happy day,

because they were

So you have to

were allowed to work

regime that Constantine

established were farmers

and agriculturalists and
those who took care of cattle.

And so they made
Sabbath seem like a burden.

So they established a
venerable day of the sun,

which began as a feast
day, a merrymaking day,

everybody had a lot of fun,

so they gave it
a favorable light.

And here is, I'm gonna show

The more paganism
grew, the greater the impact,

it started rising in prominence,

very comfortable day.

people go to church on Sunday

easy thing to do.

Go for few hours and
go to a baseball game,

But if you really
honor the Sabbath,

the way the Bible says
that it should be honored,

it's a full day
that belongs to the Lord.
