with two symbols in Revelation.

we're going to see two pictures.

We're going to see the church

as God has ordained it to be,

see the church in apostasy.

the church in faithfulness

Now the reason why

these two pictures are important

that there's a vast difference

in the way they look.

And for the Lord to communicate
that message by adorning them,

by the outward appearance?

before we read the verses.

What's taken place on the inside

reflected on the outside,

How we feel on the
inside often plays itself out

by the way we present ourselves.

look at first at the woman

that is pictured as
the faithful picture

Notice what she's clothed with.

Sun, moon, stars,

and that crown
represents those stars.

What's the natural
beauty of the woman?

What God created?

The sun, the moon and the stars,

reflecting the glory of God.

Now we know the moon
has no light of its own,

it reflects the
glory of the sun.

And the stars are
in and of themselves

reflecting the glory.

Now many stars we know

moons but other galaxies.

So the glory that is
presented by this woman

is the natural beauty,

moon, and the stars.

about her dedication to God.

meaning the
color blue is missing,

God's commandments,

"And adorned

"Gold," and what else?

"Pearls having in her hand,

So God uses precious stones,

her external appearance,

that were used in Babylon,

and whenever God's
people got involved in wearing

these articles of gold,

or precious stones, or pearls,

the Lord pictured His people
in a position of rebellion.

So look at the
different pictures.

The woman naturally clothed,

and the woman with
external adornment,

not reflecting
the inward character,

as the Bible says,

the ornament of a
meek and quiet spirit

in the sight of God
is what is precious,

not the ornaments
that are external,

he wants to give to us.

after his rebellion.
