Four. 02:18 So the first page is 1 to 6, 02:22 then 7 to 17, 02:24 the third page 18 to 29 02:26 and the last page 30 to 38. 02:30 So you should have the last page 02:32 that begins with 30 02:34 and ends with 38. 02:37 So go to that website and download this lesson. 02:40 And in just a moment, 02:42 we'll begin with question number 25. 02:43 But before we do that, 02:45 we always begin with our theme song 02:47 which is what? 02:48 "Victory in Jesus." 02:50 Let's sing this song together. 03:00 I heard an old, old story 03:04 How the Savior came from glory 03:07 How He gave His life on Calvary 03:11 To save a wretch like me 03:15 I heard about His groaning 03:19 Of His precious blood's atoning 03:22 Then I repented of my sin 03:26 And won the victory 03:30 O victory in Jesus 03:34 My Savior forever 03:37 He sought me and bought me 03:41 With His redeeming blood 03:45 He loved me ere I knew Him 03:49 And all my love is due Him 03:53 He plunged me to victory 03:56 Beneath the cleansing flood 04:00 I heard about a mansion 04:04 He has built for me in glory 04:08 And I heard about the streets of gold 04:11 Beyond the crystal sea 04:15 About the angels singing 04:19 And the old redemption story 04:23 And some sweet day I'll sing up there 04:27 The song of victory 04:29 Key change. 04:30 O victory in Jesus 04:34 My Savior forever 04:38 He sought me and bought me 04:42 With His redeeming blood 04:46 He loved me ere I knew Him 04:49 And all my love is due Him 04:53 He plunged me to victory 04:57 Beneath the cleansing flood 05:01 He plunged me to victory 05:04 Beneath the cleansing flood 05:11 Amen? Amen. 05:12 What a wonderful song. 05:15 We have been walking through this topic, 05:18 "The Truth about Spiritual Babylon" 05:21 for a number of weeks. 05:23 And tonight, we're going to go ahead 05:25 and tackle that topic again. 05:27 Surely we may not finish it, 05:29 but that's the beauty of being able 05:30 to continue next week. 05:32 If you just joined the program and missed the opening, 05:36 you may want to go to the website 05:37 ASF.3ABN.org 05:41 and download lesson number 29, 05:44 "The Truth about Spiritual Babylon," 05:47 and if you've done so already, there's one additional page. 05:50 Now we have been talking about the message of Babylon. 05:53 Babylon is fallen, is fallen. 05:57 That is the second of the three angels' messages. 06:01 As you know, if you're following 06:02 the chronology of it, 06:04 the very next topic we're gonna be covering is 06:07 "The Mark of the Beast." 06:09 That's a huge topic, 06:11 quite an extensive topic with a great understanding, 06:14 and quite a bit of information. 06:16 But what Babylon opens up to us is this very important fact, 06:20 how to know the difference 06:22 between light and darkness, between truth and error, 06:28 between what man has said, 06:30 and between what or compared to what God has said. 06:34 And so tonight, 06:36 the question we're gonna dive 06:37 right into is question number 25. 06:41 And we have quite a bit to cover tonight. 06:43 The question we're gonna begin with tonight 06:45 is question number 25. 06:47 When you follow this question, 06:48 or when you allow the Bible to speak, 06:51 one of the most important things 06:52 about the Bible is this, 06:53 the Bible reveals the truth. 06:56 Let's say that together, 06:57 the Bible reveals the truth. 07:00 If you wanna know truth, you have to read the Bible, 07:02 but not just a single verse, you have to read it in context, 07:06 read prior to the verses, and also after the verses, 07:10 get the entire picture. 07:12 Because a lot of doctrines today exist 07:14 in the Christian world, 07:15 where it's kind of like going to a smorgasbord. 07:18 You know, people pick and choose what they want 07:19 from the smorgasbord, and they'll say, 07:21 "I didn't see any onions." 07:23 Somebody will say, "I didn't see any oranges." 07:25 Because they scanned, but the Word of God 07:27 is not a smorgasbord. 07:29 It is a Genesis to what? 07:31 Revelation. 07:32 It is the Old Testament, and what else? 07:34 New Testament. 07:35 And as Isaiah the Prophet says, "Line upon line, 07:38 line upon line, here a little, 07:41 here a little, there a little, there a little." 07:45 So never base an entire doctrine 07:49 on one single verse. 07:53 Search the Bible to find 07:54 all that it says about one particular doctrine, 07:57 and then you can formulate the true picture about it. 07:59 Because some verses that you read, 08:02 will give you a certain portion of the picture 08:04 if you stop there, 08:06 it's kind of like those puzzles. 08:08 You ever put a puzzle together? 08:10 There is some, you know, for children, 08:11 they have 10 piece puzzles, 08:13 some adults like 5000 piece puzzles. 08:15 I don't have the time for 5000 piece puzzle. 08:18 But what you discover with puzzles is if you stop, 08:21 anywhere you stop, the picture is not complete. 08:24 The Bible is not a puzzle, but it has many parts. 08:28 And when you put all the parts together, 08:29 then you see the picture as the way it should appear, 08:33 right? 08:34 So this very important question tonight, 08:36 question number 25. 08:38 How does the Bible teach us to recognize a false prophet? 08:44 Let's go to 1 John 2:3-4. 08:47 Now, I also want you to pray because tonight, 08:49 we are not going to tip toe through the tulips. 08:52 Amen, somebody? 08:53 We are living too late in earth's history 08:56 to meander in the maze of mediocrity 08:58 and leave it up to you to figure out 08:59 what we try to say. 09:01 We have to allow the Word of God to be clear. 09:03 If the Bible is not clear, then people just don't know 09:06 what God is saying. 09:07 If the trumpet doesn't sound certain, 09:09 then you can't tell whether it's war, 09:12 or whether it's a memorial, you just don't really know. 09:14 Look at 1 John 2:3-4. 09:17 How does the Bible teach us to recognize a false prophet? 09:21 Here it is, and the Bible reads as follows. 09:25 Let's read this first one together, 09:26 it's on the screen. 09:27 Are you ready? Here we go. 09:29 Let's put some fervor behind this. 09:30 "Now by this we know that we know Him, if," what? 09:34 "If we keep His commandments." 09:37 Verse 4, "He who says, 'I know Him' 09:41 and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, 09:44 and the truth is not in him." 09:48 One of the reasons that text is important 09:50 and, you know, we read that verse 09:51 and what I wanna remind you of 09:53 is that verse wasn't put in by any particular denomination. 09:56 That's the Lord's word. 09:58 That was put so that every one of us 10:00 could be measured by the same standard, right? 10:03 When you go to court, the judge doesn't say, 10:07 "What country are you from? 10:09 What's your nationality? 10:11 How much money do you make? 10:12 I'll decide whether or not to use the same laws 10:14 and rules and regulations." 10:15 When you walk into a court of law, 10:17 the rules apply to everyone. 10:20 At least that's what we hope. 10:22 Some people say, "Well, the wealthy don't live 10:24 by the same rules as the poor." 10:26 That's not the point I wanna make. 10:28 In the actual book of law, 10:30 the law is supposed to apply to everyone. 10:33 God's law applies to what? 10:35 So here's the point of the text. 10:36 If someone says, 10:38 "I know Jesus," 10:40 but they don't keep His commandments. 10:43 The Bible says, "Wait a minute, wait a minute, 10:45 that guy is not connected to me. 10:49 He's a liar, and don't trust him. 10:52 Because if he lies on that, 10:55 he's not going to tell you 10:56 the truth about other things. 10:58 So the commandments of God 11:01 are a safeguard, 11:03 they are a criteria. 11:05 When you measure to that criteria, 11:07 when someone says, 11:09 "I honor the commandments of God." 11:11 Then you can say, "Okay, that is a true prophet of God, 11:15 that is someone that we can trust 11:18 for the other truths to unfold." 11:21 Let's look at another text. 11:22 We're gonna go to another one, so the answer right there is, 11:25 how does the Bible teach us to recognize the false prophet? 11:28 If they don't keep God's commandments, 11:30 there's no light there. 11:31 If they don't keep God's commandments, 11:33 and by the way, 11:34 how many commandments are there? 11:36 How many? Ten. 11:37 Ten. 11:39 Somebody said 11, I know they were joking around. 11:43 Which one? 11:44 Spoke to John, He said, when you come in, 11:47 and I'll give you another one. 11:50 And by the way, 11:51 if you look at the 1 Book of John, 11:52 that's not new, that was in Deuteronomy. 11:54 He told him in Deuteronomy, 11:56 "Love your neighbor as yourself." 11:57 That's not new. 11:59 What was new about that was in the New Testament Church, 12:01 one of the struggles they had was to love each other. 12:05 It was unusual to them. 12:07 Because as Peter was told, 12:09 Lord, I heard that you, 12:11 you know, if you forgive somebody 12:13 three times, 12:15 that's pretty good. 12:16 So he doubled it and said, "Well, isn't seven okay?" 12:19 Lord said, "No, seventy times seven." 12:22 You know, the big issue today 12:24 and I'm glad that that point was made. 12:26 The big issue today is not so much, 12:29 just what is truth and what is not truth? 12:32 The big issue is do you really love the Lord enough 12:36 to follow what He says we should follow? 12:39 And if love for someone is not there, 12:41 then it's just a matter of rules and regulations, 12:43 ain't that right. 12:44 And people don't like rules and regulations, 12:46 but you will be amazed 12:47 how rules and regulations really are not a big issue 12:50 when you love somebody. 12:52 I use the example of my wife and I, 12:54 married going on 32 years now. 12:56 If we were aware of all the laws 12:58 on the state of... 13:00 Well, we got married in New York. 13:02 We didn't go down to the courthouse and say, 13:03 "Now before we get married, 13:05 can I see all the laws 13:06 on the book of the state of New York? 13:08 And if I can live up to all these laws, 13:11 then I'll marry her." 13:13 That's not what we did. 13:14 But we said, "Okay, we love." 13:16 Love preceded. 13:18 And so therefore, when Roman says love, 13:21 Romans 13 says, 13:22 "Love is the fulfilling of the law." 13:25 What in essence is being said is when you love the Lord, 13:27 His requirements are not a burden to you. 13:30 Amen? 13:31 Let's go to number, 13:32 so the answer here is how does the Bible teach us 13:34 to recognize a false prophet? 13:35 If someone says, he knows the Lord 13:37 but doesn't keep the commandments, 13:39 the Lord says, "Hey, run to the hills, 13:42 that's not the person you wanna hang around." 13:44 Look at number 26. 13:47 How can we know that false prophets 13:49 are in darkness? 13:51 How can we know? 13:53 Okay, 13:55 let's go to Isaiah 8. 13:56 Now before you bring up the text on the screen, 13:58 I would like to go to Isaiah 8. 14:00 And before we bring up the scripture, 14:02 which is Isaiah 8:20. 14:04 I want to go to Isaiah 8:16. 14:08 All right, Isaiah 8:16. 14:13 A lot of times people think that the word disciple 14:16 is a New Testament word. 14:18 Disciple is an Old Testament word. 14:20 Anyone that follows Christ is a disciple. 14:23 Anyone that follows God is a disciple. 14:27 They are being taught to lead others to Christ. 14:31 Notice Isaiah 8:16, 14:35 before we bring up the text. 14:37 Look at the Bible together. 14:38 The Bible says, "Bind up," what's the next word? 14:41 "The testimony," And what's in it? 14:44 "Seal the law," among my what? 14:47 "Disciples." That's a powerful scripture. 14:49 Bind up, you know, bind means, 14:50 if you think of the terminology in the sense of a ship, 14:54 I preach on about a boat that was tossed. 14:56 What happens when the boat starts rocking? 14:58 What do you do? 15:00 You tie everything down, 15:01 you make sure it's tight. 15:03 Matter of fact, I'm taking my lawnmower 15:05 to get service tomorrow and I asked somebody 15:07 if they have a flatbed, they said, 15:08 "Well, your lawnmower will fit 15:10 but don't forget to tie it down." 15:12 Because even though it fits, if you don't tie it down, 15:15 it could roll off, it could flip over, 15:17 anything could happen. 15:18 So when the Lord says bind up the testimony, 15:20 He doesn't say the testimony is, 15:25 let me correctly say this, 15:28 because sometimes people say, 15:29 "By keeping the law you're bound." 15:32 There's a difference all together. 15:33 When you bind up someone's wound, 15:35 you're not binding them. 15:38 You're bringing an healing process. 15:40 When the Lord says bind up the testimony, 15:42 that means make sure 15:44 that it is connected to my disciples, 15:46 and when it's connected, 15:47 seal it, seal the law among my disciples. 15:51 Now look at Isaiah 8:20. 15:53 Here's the answer. 15:55 Isaiah 8:20. 15:56 The Lord says again, 15:58 "To the law," to the what? 16:00 "To the law and to the testimony! 16:03 If they do not speak according to this word, 16:06 it is because there is no, " what? 16:09 "No light in them." 16:11 You know, these measurements are so clear, 16:12 a lot of times people say, 16:14 "Well, how could I in this world 16:15 of so many churches, so many religions 16:19 so many doctrinal teachings, 16:20 how could I possibly know 16:22 which ones are handling the truth? 16:25 Well, if you just use 16:26 these two texts right off the bat, 16:28 and begin to apply them, go to the church, pastor... 16:31 And I did this when I was a teenager. 16:33 I'll tell you the story very, very quickly. 16:35 When I was a teenager about, 16:37 I think I was about 17 years old. 16:39 And I went to a... 16:40 I won't tell you what denomination it was, 16:42 but I went to the church, and it was a Sunday Church. 16:43 I went on my bicycle, and I asked the youth pastor 16:46 about the Sabbath. 16:47 I said, "I want to know 16:49 because I was in my disc jockey world, 16:52 my partying world. 16:53 And I was trying to find a church 16:54 where I could still party, 16:56 and still be saved. 16:58 I was trying to compromise, 17:01 so I said to the pastor, 17:02 "Can you tell me, youth pastor, 17:03 can you tell me about the Sabbath?" 17:05 He said, "Come with me, young man." 17:06 So I thought he's gonna go and explain something to me. 17:08 He asked me, I was in this youth class. 17:11 And he asked, he said, "Come with me." 17:12 And he walked me up the steps across the hall, 17:15 down the steps outside the church. 17:17 And then he said, 17:18 "Don't you ever come back here again?" 17:20 And I thought, "Hmm, what?" 17:24 He didn't even answer my question. 17:26 He just asked me, "Come here. 17:29 Come with me, young man." 17:30 I just simply as a teenager said, 17:32 "Could you tell me about the Sabbath?" 17:35 I hadn't had a personal relationship 17:36 with Jesus yet 17:37 but the Sabbath was a part of my practice. 17:39 And since I really wasn't practicing anything, 17:42 I was partying. 17:43 I was figuring out, "Do I really have to keep 17:44 the Sabbath to be saved? 17:46 Let me ask this pastor the question?" 17:47 "Come on, young man." 17:49 Up the steps, across the hallway, 17:50 down the steps, and he said to me, 17:52 "Don't you ever come back here again." 17:53 I thought, "What? 17:56 What was that all about?" 17:58 And I did that twice. 18:00 Again, and I want to tell you, 18:01 I'm not going to identify the denominations at all. 18:04 But I went to another pastor, 18:05 and I sat in his office and asked him again, 18:07 a different denomination. 18:08 And he said, "Don't tell me that." 18:10 He said, "I know you're not gonna tell me 18:11 that in 321 AD Roman Emperor Constantine 18:14 passed the first Sunday Law." 18:15 I said, 18:16 "You know?" 18:18 He quoted history. 18:20 He knew when the first Sunday law was... 18:21 I said, "Do you know?" 18:23 And he got up and walked out of the office. 18:25 After about 40 minutes, 18:27 I figured he wasn't coming back. 18:28 So I left. 18:30 The unfortunate thing and I just confessed this. 18:32 The unfortunate thing is, 18:33 I let me let me rephrase that... 18:35 not the unfortunate but the fortunate thing 18:37 is his church was right across the street 18:38 from where I lived. 18:42 And one Sunday I saw on his marquee, 18:44 he was preaching on the Ten Commandments. 18:47 And I thought, "What could he say 18:49 about The Ten Commandments?" 18:50 So I went in the house. 18:52 I got all my Amazing Facts folders. 18:55 Do you see where I'm headed with that? 18:57 And I went to all the cars that were parked up 19:00 and down the street double parked 19:02 in front of my house, 19:03 across the street double parked, 19:05 got a very thin line, because in New York City 19:06 you gotta get little parking lots. 19:09 They're double parked while church is in, 19:11 thin line you go down the middle, 19:12 I had all those cars covered. 19:15 I put a Don't Be Fooled Amazing Facts folder 19:19 under the windshield wiper of every one of those. 19:22 And I looked out my window 19:23 when the church was over like this. 19:26 And I saw everybody looking at this. 19:27 I wonder who put that on there. 19:29 You see, the beauty of it is, 19:30 one, you know, the truth of God's Word. 19:32 When you know the truth of God's Word, 19:34 then the light comes on. 19:35 Amen? 19:36 That's why the text says, 19:38 "If they don't speak according to this Word 19:39 it is because there is," 19:40 how much light? 19:42 "No light in them." 19:44 And you don't want to hang around people 19:46 that are walking in darkness. 19:48 All right, put for the answer, 19:49 how can we know that false prophets 19:51 are in darkness? 19:52 They don't honor God's law. 19:54 They do not speak according to God's law, 19:57 and surely not according to God's testimony. 20:00 All right, number 27. 20:02 Number 27. 20:04 Wow. 20:05 What does the Lord reveal 20:09 is the motive of false prophets? 20:11 This is huge, 20:13 because we're talking about Spiritual Babylon. 20:16 Now a lot of people... 20:17 I'm going to just broaden this as we go to the text, 20:20 Jeremiah 14:14. 20:21 The question is, 20:22 what does the Lord reveal 20:24 is the motive of false prophets? 20:25 You know, we could easily say, "Well, he's innocent, 20:30 he's innocent, they're innocent. 20:32 They don't really know. 20:33 They don't really know. 20:35 They don't really know." 20:36 We could, we could whitewash 20:38 the whole entire religious world and say, 20:39 "Everybody's ignorant." 20:42 But I've discovered otherwise. 20:44 I've discovered that there are those 20:45 who know the truth 20:46 and are determined not to tell it. 20:50 And the motive is clear, 20:51 and this text is going to reveal some of the motives. 20:54 All right, Jeremiah 14:14. 20:58 Here it is, Jeremiah 14:14. 21:00 And the Bible says, 21:02 "And the Lord said to me, 21:04 'The prophets prophesy," what? 21:07 "Lies in my name. 21:10 I have not sent them, 21:13 commanded them, 21:14 nor spoken to them. 21:17 They prophesy to say a false vision, divination, 21:23 a worthless thing, 21:24 and the deceit of their heart." 21:27 Now look at those things that are pointed out, 21:29 look what they do. 21:30 First of all, the Lord says, "I haven't sent them." 21:32 What do they do? What do they do? 21:34 They prophesy to you a false vision. 21:41 They also prophesy divination. 21:42 You know a divination? 21:44 Divination is a spiritualistic practice. 21:46 You know, they try to say, 21:48 "Here's what's gonna happen in four weeks. 21:50 Here's what's gonna happen in two months." 21:53 I never forget going to, and I didn't go 21:55 because I was looking for any answers at all, 21:58 but I went out of inquisitive nature. 22:00 And this is when we lived in Orlando, Florida. 22:03 Not too long, it was a while ago, 22:05 my wife and I, 22:07 and also her cousin went to a miracle service. 22:09 We didn't go to get any miracles, 22:11 we just went to see. 22:12 And we stood in the back, 22:14 and we saw all these people in wheelchairs, 22:16 and some of them had tubes, 22:18 and some of them are paraplegic and they were all... 22:21 And the place was packed with people 22:23 that needed a miracle. 22:25 And I was listening to the prophet, 22:29 false vision, divination, worthless thing, 22:31 deceit of their heart. 22:32 And of calling somebody 22:34 that really had an obvious ailment, 22:37 they call somebody and said, "Let me touch your ear. 22:40 The Lord has told me that in a X amount of days 22:43 or X amount of month, 22:44 you're gonna be able to hear God's voice speaking 22:45 to you about the plan for your future." 22:47 And I'm thinking, "What, 22:49 what about all these folks 22:51 that really need obvious things?" 22:53 When I did a revelation seminar, 22:55 my first Revelation seminar 22:56 back in 1989 in Northern California, 22:59 in a small town called Weaverville. 23:01 Soon as I began my Revelation seminar, 23:04 nine other churches began one the next week. 23:07 Why? 23:09 In this small town, 23:10 everybody was trying to counteract my meetings. 23:13 And so on one of my nights off, 23:14 I went to hear about this prophet 23:16 that had an edge on prophecy. 23:19 And what I heard him say was nothing, 23:21 it had nothing to do with prophecy, 23:23 and had everything to do with, 23:24 "In about four months, 23:26 God is gonna speak to your heart 23:27 and reveal to you the things that I'm thinking." 23:28 People are paying for that? 23:30 And I was telling the truth, 23:32 and everybody was upset with me. 23:33 And that's what happens. 23:34 They prophesy to you a false vision. 23:38 What else? 23:39 Divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart. 23:43 And you know, I tell you today in America... 23:47 there has been so many investigations 23:49 on people that are living high on the hog, 23:52 rather than telling the truth. 23:53 The unfortunate thing is, many people are in it 23:55 for the benefit, 23:57 and not for the truth of God's Word. 23:58 Go with me to the Book of Matthew 23:59 before we go to number 28. 24:01 So the answer for number 27. 24:03 What does the Lord reveal is the motive 24:04 of the false prophet? 24:06 False visions, false prophecies, 24:09 worthless things, and that's the motive. 24:12 It's just not of God. 24:14 You want to just put that all together. 24:16 It's not of God, it's a cover up. 24:18 If I could put all that together, 24:19 it's a cover up. 24:20 Go with me to Matthew Chapter 7, 24:22 I want you to see something. 24:23 The Lord also points this out, 24:25 because we're living in a day and age 24:26 where a lot of things are being done 24:29 in the name of the Lord. 24:35 But to call on the Lord's name, 24:38 is also to represent the Lord in what you teach, 24:41 ain't that right? 24:43 You call on the Lord's name, 24:44 make sure that what you teach represent the Lord. 24:48 Matthew 7, look together at verse 21, 24:51 down to verse 23. 24:54 And then we'll go to number 28, for the next question. 24:58 Here's what the Lord says 24:59 and He talks about them by their fruits, 25:01 you will know them verse 20. 25:02 But then he says in verse 21, 25:04 "Not everyone who says to me," what? 25:07 "Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, 25:11 but he who does the will of My Father," where? 25:14 "In heaven. 25:15 Many will say to me in that day, 25:19 Lord, Lord, 25:21 have we not," what? 25:23 "Prophesied in your name?" 25:24 Did you get that? 25:26 They prophesy a false vision, 25:29 but whose name do they do it in? 25:30 The Lord's name. 25:32 He said, "I haven't sent them but they used His name." 25:34 Many have. 25:35 "Have we not prophesied in Your name," 25:37 a direct correlation to Jeremiah 14:14. 25:40 "And cast out demons in Your name, 25:43 and done many wonders in Your name. 25:47 Haven't we done all that?" And look at verse 23. 25:50 "And then I will confess or declare to them I," what? 25:53 Let's say together. "I never knew you. 25:57 Depart from me 25:59 you who practice lawlessness." 26:01 Or as the King James Version says, 26:02 "Work iniquity." 26:04 What that means is, 26:06 you say you're connected with me, 26:07 but I don't know you. 26:09 And it goes all the way back to 1 John 2:3-4. 26:11 "He who says, I know him 26:13 and does not keep His commandments is a liar." 26:15 Lord says, "I don't know you. 26:17 You've done a lot of things." 26:18 And this is amazing. 26:19 You may think you have to know the Lord to cast out demons. 26:21 Wow. 26:23 That's what deception is all about. 26:25 I wanna just plant this thought, 26:27 "Do you know 26:28 and there are examples in history 26:32 where people have been possessed, 26:35 and then the possession has been removed 26:38 by false prophets, 26:40 to make people believe 26:42 that that was the work of God?" 26:44 I'm gonna bring up the text in just a moment 26:45 to show it to you 26:47 because the Lord says, 26:48 "If a prophet speaks a thing, 26:50 and it comes to pass, 26:52 exactly as he has spoken." 26:56 And then he says to you, 26:57 "Let us go after other gods." 26:59 The Lord says, 27:01 "I'm just testing you to see 27:02 whether or not you'll keep My commandments." 27:04 Because there are a lot of people 27:05 that have gone to miracle services, 27:07 they see people falling over, 27:08 they see a lot of healing taking place, 27:11 but you don't in many cases, 27:12 we don't understand that this place called Babylon, 27:16 which the Bible says, 27:17 has become the habitation of demons, 27:19 foul spirits, every unclean and hated bird. 27:22 We have discounted 27:24 how much deception exists in Christianity today. 27:28 So you'll see things that look like miracles, 27:31 casting out demons, like the verse says here, 27:33 "But the Lord says, I don't know you. 27:35 I haven't done that. 27:36 You're using My name, but I haven't sent you." 27:39 All right. 27:40 Look at number 28. 27:42 Question number 28. 27:43 So be careful when you're in these services 27:45 because what's happening today, 27:47 and it's happening with television 27:48 and anything external, 27:49 we are being stimulated by the external 27:52 to be convinced 27:54 of what is not really in fact truth. 27:57 If it doesn't measure up with God's Word, 27:59 then do not believe it. 28:02 All right? 28:04 Question number 28. 28:05 Here it is. 28:07 What plan does the Lord have 28:10 for those deceived 28:12 by false prophets? 28:14 I love this question. 28:16 Because a moment ago, 28:17 you could come to the conclusion that, 28:19 "Well, you're deceived too bad." 28:21 Whoa, God still loves His people, 28:23 no matter where they are. 28:25 Amen, someone? 28:26 And there are many people that love the Lord 28:27 that up until that particular moment, 28:29 that's all they know. 28:31 And so they're under the leadership, 28:33 or the guides, or the tutelage, or the direction of a prophet 28:38 who knows the truth but doesn't communicate it. 28:41 But God is not gonna let the false prophet 28:43 have the final say. 28:46 Let's go to Jeremiah 23 to answer this question. 28:49 What plan does the Lord have for those deceived 28:52 by false prophets? 28:54 Matter of fact, as you go to Jeremiah 23, 28:56 we're gonna read verse 1-4. 28:58 You can also see that in Revelation 18, 29:00 we talked about this, God is gonna say, 29:02 "Come out of her," who? 29:05 "My people." 29:06 So the Lord is not gonna allow people 29:07 to stay in deception. 29:09 He wants them to come out. 29:10 But notice what the Lord has, what plans He has, 29:13 for those that are deceived by false prophets? 29:16 Here it is. 29:17 On the screen, 29:19 "Woe to the shepherds 29:20 who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!' 29:25 says the Lord.' " 29:27 Notice if they're of his pasture, 29:28 they're his sheep, 29:30 "Therefore that says the Lord God of Israel 29:32 against the shepherds," 29:33 who do what? 29:34 "Who feed my people." 29:36 Look at what he said, 29:37 "'You have scattered My flock, 29:39 driven them away, 29:42 and not attended to them. 29:44 Behold, I will attend to you 29:46 for the evil of your doings,' 29:49 says the Lord." 29:51 "But," 29:53 Notice He changes the cadence. 29:55 "But I will gather the remnant of My flock 29:59 out of all the countries where I have driven them, 30:03 and bring them back to their," what? 30:05 "To their folds, 30:07 and they shall be," what? 30:09 "Fruitful and increase." 30:11 I will set up shepherds over them 30:14 who will do," what? 30:16 "Who will feed them, 30:17 and they shall fear no more, 30:20 nor be dismayed, 30:22 nor shall they be lacking, 30:25 "says the Lord." 30:26 Amen. 30:28 God is saying, "I know what's happened. 30:29 They are those false shepherds 30:32 that are feeding My sheep." 30:34 When you read about John 10, 30:35 John 10 is so amazing. 30:38 That's where Jesus is the good shepherd. 30:40 He said, "There are some people 30:42 that I've not hired their hirelings. 30:44 They did try to come in here other ways." 30:47 But He said the good thing about it. 30:49 Let's go there very quickly. 30:50 John Chapter 10. 30:51 So put the answer here on number 28. 30:53 What plan does the Lord have for those deceived 30:55 by false shepherd? 30:56 He will gather them back. 30:58 He will gather them back. 31:01 Amen. 31:02 Let's go to John Chapter 10. 31:04 Look at this. 31:06 John Chapter 10. 31:09 See what we have to keep in mind 31:11 is as the Bible says, 31:13 Paul says, 31:14 "There's one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 31:15 one God, one Father of all, one fold, one shepherd." 31:19 But there are people and one of the reasons 31:21 why you find even during the time 31:24 with the birth of Christ, 31:25 that the shepherds were watching 31:27 over their flock by night 31:28 is because people try to steal their sheep. 31:32 And that's what's happening today 31:33 under false pretence, 31:34 false doctrines, 31:36 false prophecies God's sheep 31:39 are being stolen. 31:42 But look at the good news. 31:43 John Chapter 10. 31:45 Wow, look at this. 31:48 Verse 1, 31:50 "Most assuredly, I say to you, 31:54 he who does not enter the sheepfold 31:57 by the," what? 31:58 "Door, but climbs up some other way, 32:02 the same is a thief and a robber." 32:04 There are those who are trying to find another way to get in 32:08 'cause there's only one way, 32:10 through the door, Jesus is the door. 32:13 He says, "But he who enters by the door 32:15 is the shepherd of the sheep. 32:18 To him," this is beautiful, 32:19 "the doorkeeper opens, 32:22 and the sheep," do what? 32:24 "Hear his voice, 32:25 and he calls his own sheep 32:28 by name and leads them," what? 32:30 "Out." 32:31 So once again, Revelation 18:4, come what? 32:34 "Out of her My people." 32:36 What are they gonna do to come out? 32:38 They're going to hear His voice. 32:40 They're going to hear His voice. 32:42 They hear His voice. Look at the next verse. 32:44 Verse 4, 32:45 "And when he brings out his own sheep, 32:48 he goes before them, 32:50 and the sheep follow him, 32:52 for they," what? 32:53 "Know his voice." 32:55 Let me ask you a question today. 32:56 Let me take this thing. 32:58 How can we hear God's voice today? 32:59 Hint. How can we hear God's voice? 33:01 Fear His Word? 33:03 Be careful when people come into your church and say, 33:05 "God gave me a revelation today. 33:08 God told me..." 33:10 And it's not in harmony with God's Word. 33:11 You got a lot of that going on nowadays. 33:13 I've seen so many of these self-proclaimed shepherds, 33:16 self-proclaimed prophetesses and prophets. 33:19 One Saturday, 33:22 one Saturday evening, 33:23 we were sitting in our bed together, 33:25 my wife and I... It's just kind of, 33:26 you know, relaxing, 33:28 the day was a stressful day, 33:29 and a lot of activity and lot of blessings, 33:32 and we just kind of thumbing through the channels. 33:34 We stopped at a channel where there was a prophet 33:37 and two prophetesses, 33:38 they were selling a prophet program. 33:42 And depending on what level of prophet you wanted to be, 33:46 four easy payments of, 33:48 three easy payments of this prophet kit cost 200, 33:52 this one is 400, 33:53 this one is 600, 33:54 depends on what kind of prophet you want to be. 33:56 You buy my prophet kit and in a year and a half, 33:59 you'll be a prophet or prophetess. 34:01 And this guy referred himself as a prophet 34:03 and prophetess Diana, 34:05 and prophetess, and they gave the lady's name 34:06 and I'm thinking, 34:08 "Lord, have mercy." 34:12 And I want to so badly to write him, 34:13 but, I knew it was just a commercial, 34:15 you know, a show that was taped 34:17 a number of months ago 34:18 kind of like, some of our programs 34:20 and I thought, "This is sad." 34:22 That's why 34:24 God has allowed ministries like 3ABN. 34:27 Amen. 34:28 And Loma Linda broadcasting, and Hope channel, 34:30 and Amazing Facts, and Amazing Discoveries, 34:33 God has many tentacles out there proclaiming the light 34:36 to the world, 34:37 and it's going to get brighter 34:38 before Jesus comes, 34:40 wonderful thing about that. 34:41 And by the way, when you read that Jesus' saying, 34:44 "I'm the good shepherd." 34:46 And the beauty of this is 34:47 they are going to hear His voice. 34:49 When the Word of God is being preached, 34:52 be like the Thessalonicans. 34:55 What did they do? 34:58 They examined the Word of God to see 35:01 whether what the prophet spoke was so. 35:03 See, these were more noble. 35:05 In that, they searched the scriptures to see 35:08 whether these things were so... 35:10 Don't just take a person's word for it. 35:12 Matter of fact, we always say, "Don't take my word for, 35:13 you know why? 35:15 Because your destination is in your hand." 35:18 Amen. 35:19 Let's go to the next one, number 29, 35:21 number 29. 35:22 I think we are moving right along. 35:24 Okay. 35:25 Here it is. 35:27 Okay. 35:28 Wow, wow. 35:32 What is the message against Spiritual... 35:35 Why is the message against Spiritual Babylon 35:38 important to the world? 35:40 Why is it important? 35:41 It's important to know why it's important. 35:43 Somebody who say 35:45 "Okay, so you have this message 35:46 that you're proclaiming, 35:47 why is it important?" 35:50 Let's go to Micah 4:2. 35:54 Micah Chapter 4, 35:56 and we're going to look together at verse 2. 36:00 All right. 36:03 Just to review very quickly of your thinking. 36:06 The messages of the three angels 36:08 is to every nation, every kindred, 36:12 every tongue, every people, 36:15 that's the context of the answer to this question. 36:18 Micah 4:2 and the question, 36:20 why is the message about against Spiritual Babylon 36:23 important to the world? 36:24 Micah 4:2, all right. 36:29 A little minor prophets. 36:30 Here we are. 36:33 And the Lord's Word, 36:34 "Many nations shall come and say," 36:38 Quite nations say this together, 36:40 "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, 36:44 to the house of the God of Jacob," 36:47 and look at this beautiful. 36:48 "He will do," what? 36:49 "Teach us His way, and we shall," what? 36:53 "Walk in His paths." 36:55 Why? 36:56 "For out of Zion the law shall go forth, 37:00 and the Word of the Lord from," where? 37:03 "Jerusalem." 37:04 Notice what He's compared together. 37:07 The law of God and His Word. 37:09 If you combine that two together, 37:11 that's a law and the testimony, 37:14 these two things together. 37:15 Nations, why are they coming? 37:17 They're looking, they're seeking, 37:19 there're lots of people today 37:21 that are not satisfied with surface religion. 37:25 There're lot of people today that are not satisfied 37:27 with what they're hearing from week to week. 37:29 But, you know, you never hear about that. 37:31 You always see that, the lights, the camera, 37:33 the action. 37:34 But there are many people and I've heard some people say, 37:36 "Well, there are lots in numbers, 37:38 but there's great turnover." 37:40 Where the Word of God is proclaimed, 37:42 people are being fed, and the growth is taking place. 37:44 Praise the Lord for that. 37:46 But where are they going to find? 37:48 I'm going to go back to this point. 37:50 It says, "And we shall," 37:51 this is what they're going to say. 37:54 "He will teach us His way," 37:57 not man's way, 37:58 "And we shall walk in His paths, 38:01 for out of Zion the law shall go forth 38:04 and the Word of the Lord 38:05 from Jerusalem." 38:07 Today, when you talk about the law of God, 38:09 you find a ton of excuses. 38:12 It was nailed to the cross, 38:14 it's for the Jews only, 38:16 it's just the Old Testament, 38:18 we are New Testament Christians, 38:20 it doesn't apply anymore, 38:22 it's a burden 38:23 if you keep at your bound. 38:26 I'm thinking, "What is the problem here?" 38:29 Well, but they are going to be those 38:32 that will respond to the voice of God, 38:35 and when they hear God's voice, 38:37 they will walk in His paths. 38:39 Praise God for that. 38:40 All right, question 30. 38:43 We are on the final page. 38:45 I'm looking at all the scriptures here. 38:49 I have to be Speedy Gonzales to get through this tonight. 38:53 And I'm not Speedy Gonzales. 38:54 Okay. 38:56 So we will go as far as we can. 38:58 Question number 30. 39:02 I'm going to Revelation 18 39:03 to precede my asking you to turn there. 39:07 Number 30, here it is. 39:08 How does God plan to orchestrate 39:12 the destruction of Babylon? 39:15 God has a plan. 39:16 How is He going to orchestrate 39:18 the destruction of Babylon? 39:22 And by the way, if you haven't joined us 39:23 for the last broadcast, 39:25 we're talking about Spiritual Babylon. 39:27 There's no literal Babylon today. 39:29 That's how it was brought down in according to the prophet, 39:32 it will never be inhabited again 39:34 and it never has been inhabited again. 39:36 How does God plan to orchestrate 39:39 the destruction of Babylon? 39:42 Revelation 18:6. 39:44 Revelation 18:6. 39:47 All right, I want to... 39:49 Let me see if I've done this here. 39:51 I want to make sure I don't want to go ahead of myself. 39:54 Okay. 39:55 Let's stop with verse 5 and then we get to verse 6, 39:57 bring the text upon the screen. 39:59 I appreciate that. 40:00 Look at verse 5. 40:01 Here is why God is going 40:03 to orchestrate Babylon's destruction. 40:05 Verse 5 says, 40:07 "For her sins have done," what? 40:10 "Reached to heaven, 40:12 and God has remembered her iniquities." 40:15 Now look at verse 6, 40:17 it'll be on the screen for those of you watching. 40:20 It says, "Render to her," what? 40:23 "Just as she rendered to you, 40:27 and repay her," what? 40:29 "Double according to her works, 40:31 in the cup which she has mixed, 40:35 mix double for her." 40:37 Wow. 40:38 When people think they're getting away 40:40 with the lies, you don't get away with lies, 40:41 it's double jeopardy. 40:43 You cannot deceive someone 40:45 and think, "I got away." 40:47 When there are lots of people today 40:49 for the purpose of financial gain, 40:51 for wealth, for fame, for the reasons 40:53 that are too numerous to even mentioned here today. 40:56 Some people are motivated 40:58 by anything other than 41:00 telling the truth of God's Word. 41:02 I've had preachers that have said to me, 41:03 "Yeah, I know the Sabbath is true." 41:06 But why would I want to tell my people that? 41:07 Did you realize what will happen to my job 41:09 if I told them that? 41:11 What will happen to your job? 41:13 What about what will happen to your eternal life? 41:16 It's not just a paycheck, it's about what? 41:17 Eternal what? 41:19 Eternal life. 41:21 But there are those that have set themselves up 41:24 in such a financial way, 41:25 they've got their own jobs and their companies, 41:27 and it's all based on 41:29 what they want to tell their people. 41:31 To tell them anything other will lead them away 41:34 from their camp to the true shepherd, 41:36 to the sheepfold. 41:39 But the Lord is saying here, 41:41 when the time comes for the fall of Babylon 41:44 in Revelation 18 is so filled-in. 41:47 We won't take the time tonight obviously 41:48 to go through Revelation 18, all of it, 41:51 but you can be sure 41:53 that the way that she has deceived, 41:56 it will be poured upon her double. 41:59 The way that she has martyred, 42:01 it will be poured upon her double. 42:03 Everything that Spiritual Babylon 42:05 has done to deceive, 42:07 she will be repaid double. 42:10 Wow. What a thought! 42:12 What a thought! 42:13 Now we're going to walk through something 42:15 very carefully here. 42:16 Question number 31. 42:17 And as you know there're five texts, 42:19 but they're all in Revelation 17. 42:21 Now what I want to do a little differently right now 42:23 because we use these texts in the past, 42:26 but what I want to do now is I want to extract, 42:28 what word did I just used? 42:30 Extract. 42:31 Extract means we're going to take from these verses, 42:34 identifying marks, 42:36 so we can know according to the question 42:38 what the answer is. 42:39 Here's question number 31. 42:41 All right. 42:43 The Bible repeatedly calls Babylon "Her" 42:48 how can we know who she is? 42:51 All right. 42:52 Somebody wrote me that question, 42:54 emailed me that question a couple of weeks ago. 42:55 How can we know who she is? 42:57 Who is this woman? 42:59 All right, let's go ahead 43:00 and look at some of the identifying marks. 43:02 Let's begin with the Revelation Chapter 17 43:05 and we're going to look at verse 1. 43:07 All right. 43:09 Revelation 17 43:10 and we're going to look together at verse 1. 43:14 Okay. 43:16 Some of you are so smart, you know where I'm headed 43:19 or you know what's in the verse. 43:20 Okay, we're going to put down each of these lines, 43:24 the identifying, qualifying description 43:27 the Bible gives, 43:28 so we can know who this woman is. 43:30 All right, let's stop at Revelation 17:1. 43:33 "Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls 43:36 came and talked with me, saying, "Come," 43:41 saying to me, "Come, 43:43 I will show you the judgment of the great harlot 43:47 who sits on," what? 43:49 "Many waters." 43:50 So what's the first description the Bible gives to this woman, 43:53 she's a what? 43:54 A great harlot. 43:55 Okay, write that down. 43:57 Great harlot, all right. 44:00 A great harlot. 44:04 That's the first description that we have. 44:07 Now Revelation 17:2. 44:11 Something more about who she is 44:13 and what she does. 44:15 All right. 44:16 Here it is, 44:18 "With whom the kings of the earth 44:21 committed fornication, 44:23 and the," what? 44:25 "Inhabitants of the earth were made," what? 44:27 "Drunk with the wine of her fornication." 44:30 The second place for her power is flexed 44:32 is among the leaders of the earth 44:36 and the people of the earth. 44:37 So you want to put that down here. 44:40 Her power is above the kings of the earth, 44:42 the leaders of the earth, and the people of the earth. 44:46 And when you begin to put this together, 44:48 you have to ask yourself the question 44:49 as the picture is being drawn. 44:51 What power on earth has power both politically 44:55 and religiously over almost the entire earth? 44:59 What power today has political and religious power 45:03 over almost the entire earth? 45:06 I know, slow down, you're ahead of me, 45:08 I can hear your answers, just slow down. 45:11 All right. 45:12 Now let's go to Revelation 17:4. 45:15 We passed verse 3 intentionally. 45:18 Verse 4. 45:20 Look at the next description. 45:21 All right. 45:24 "The woman was arrayed in" together, 45:26 "purple and scarlet, 45:29 and adorned with," what? 45:30 "Gold, precious stones and pearls, 45:34 having a," what? 45:35 "In her hand 45:37 a golden cup full of abominations 45:41 and the filthiness of her fornication.' " 45:44 So what colors are prevalent there? 45:46 Purple, scarlet, gold, 45:50 precious stones, and pearls. 45:53 When you begin to connect this, 45:55 you begin to see 45:56 what power on earth 45:57 is lavishly decorated with these colors? 46:00 What political, religious power on earth 46:03 is so lavishly decorated 46:05 that it's mesmerizing 46:07 when you're in the presence of this power? 46:10 Okay. 46:11 Not going to answer your question yet. 46:13 We're going to keep unfolding. 46:14 All right. 46:16 Let's go to the next one. 46:21 And if you wanted to summarize it, 46:23 you could just put, see the whole verse, 46:25 but if you want to put the answer there, 46:27 when you see this power, 46:29 it is amazing, 46:30 it causes you to marvel. 46:33 It's designed to do that. 46:35 When you go back to Babylon, the city of antiquity, 46:37 Babylon was the most mesmerizing, the city of gold, 46:40 massive columns of gold, 46:42 the gold leaf, the golden lion. 46:45 It was designed to capture the human imagination, 46:49 but it was surely a system of diabolical satanic origin. 46:53 That's why God did not connect Himself 46:56 in any particular to Babylon, the literal city. 47:01 Now let's go to the next one. 47:02 Revelation 17:6. 47:04 Revelation 17:6. 47:06 All right. 47:08 Here is the answer again, 47:09 "I saw the woman," 47:11 notice what she's guilty of, 47:13 "drunk with the," what? 47:15 "Blood of the saints and with the blood 47:18 of the martyrs of Jesus. 47:20 And when I saw her, I marveled with," what? 47:24 "Great amazement." 47:26 She's guilty of killing the saints 47:29 and she's guilty of martyring those 47:31 that followed Jesus. 47:34 Wow. 47:35 Some of you already know the answer. 47:38 But don't say it yet. 47:40 Okay? 47:41 There's only one power on earth 47:43 that fits all these descriptions, 47:45 only one political and religious movement on earth 47:48 that fits all this description. 47:50 All right. 47:51 And by the way, let me make it very, very clear. 47:53 I've said it before, but it fits right here. 47:55 We're not talking about people. 47:57 Who do the people belong to? 47:59 Somebody tell me. 48:01 God, He says come out of her what? 48:03 My people. 48:06 I want to get that clear. 48:07 We're talking about systems. 48:09 All right. Okay. Here we go. 48:11 Revelation 17:5. 48:13 And we have them out of chronological order 48:15 for a particular purpose. 48:16 All right. 48:18 And here it is. 48:19 "And on her forehead a name was written," 48:26 Let's read this together, 48:27 "Mystery, Babylon the Great, 48:31 the," what? 48:32 "Mother of harlots and of the," what? 48:35 "Abominations of the earth." 48:38 This is saying, she's the mother, 48:40 she's the mother church, 48:42 she's the mother in leadership. 48:44 If you're a mother, 48:47 do you have children? 48:49 Come on, help me out. Yes or no? 48:50 Yes, you have children. 48:52 And in the basis of this, 48:54 she has daughters, 48:56 mother of harlots, 48:58 a term used for the old order prostitution. 49:02 Harlotry, that term is used 49:04 throughout the scriptures quite a bit. 49:05 It was even used in reference 49:07 to when the children are Israel 49:08 when became unfaithful to God. 49:11 He said you've gone harrowing or he used a phrase harlotry, 49:14 you'll find that also in the Book of Hosea 49:16 when he described 49:17 the unfaithfulness of His people. 49:19 Let me go ahead and make the point here. 49:20 Write that down. 49:22 This system is the mother of all the systems 49:25 that are harboring false teachings. 49:29 All right. 49:31 I'll do like one of my instructors once said, 49:35 he said, "I'm not going to spoon feed you." 49:37 He would bring a big, gigantic pot spoon 49:40 and he would lay it on the table, 49:42 and he said, "I'm not going to use this. 49:45 You're going to find the answers yourself." 49:48 All right. 49:49 Let's go to the very next question now. 49:51 We're going to build it together. 49:52 And by the time we get down to the end of this lesson, 49:54 I won't even have to tell you the answer, you'll know it. 49:57 All right. Let's go to the next one. 50:00 Question number 32. Question number 32. 50:05 All right. 50:08 Wow. Strong language. 50:09 This is not an easy topic, 50:11 but here we go. 50:13 "Where does this Mother Harlot get her power?" 50:18 Where does this Mother Harlot get her power? 50:21 'Cause she's the Mother of Harlots. 50:23 Where does she get her power? 50:25 Now we're going to go to Revelation 17:3. 50:29 We're going to go to Revelation 17:3. 50:34 Here it is on the screen 50:35 for the benefit of those of you 50:37 who are watching the program. 50:39 The Bible read as follow, 50:41 John envision on the Island of Patmos said, 50:44 "So he carried me away in the," what? 50:48 "Spirit into the," what? 50:50 "Wilderness. 50:52 And I saw a woman," 50:53 for all intents and purposes, 50:55 this was the harlot woman. 50:56 "I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast 51:00 which was full of names of blasphemy, 51:05 having seven heads and," what else? 51:08 "Ten horns." 51:09 So the seven heads and ten horns... 51:12 I'm going to ask my students, the seven heads 51:15 and ten horns of Revelation describes who? 51:24 His name starts with the letter S. 51:26 Together, "Satan." 51:28 Look at Revelation Chapter 12. 51:30 "Before the woman was a great red dragon, 51:33 having seven heads and ten horns." 51:35 In Revelation 12:9, 51:37 describes that as the serpent of old called the Devil 51:40 and Satan who deceives the whole world. 51:42 Here's the connection now. 51:45 She receives her power from Satan himself. 51:49 And if Satan is into deception, what is she into? 51:52 She's into deception also. 51:54 So now we're going to go 51:55 and walk through this together. 51:57 And we're going to see from 33 on down, 52:01 some of the teachings 52:03 that the harlot has 52:04 that are influenced by Satan himself. 52:08 Now the reason I'm not going to give 52:10 any particular denominational identities 52:12 because what you're going to discover 52:13 as we go through this is, 52:15 you're going to discover who the mother is 52:17 and then you're going to be able to find her daughters 52:19 wherever they are. 52:21 Did you follow that? 52:22 Once I described what the mother looks like 52:25 and what the mother believes, 52:27 and then you find the daughters 52:28 that believe the same thing, 52:30 you'll say, "You're just like your mother." 52:33 You heard that before? 52:34 You got to be able to identify because people have said. 52:37 You've heard the song years ago about Amy Grant? 52:39 You have your father's eyes. 52:41 Well, when you begin to line up the teachings, 52:43 here is the most beautiful thing. 52:45 So I don't have to get in trouble. 52:46 Somebody don't have to say, 52:47 "You call my denomination out." 52:49 Let me tell you something. 52:50 This is bigger than anything of the denomination. 52:52 Wherever you find these teachings 52:54 that we're going to now unfold, 52:56 you'll be able to say, 52:57 "It came from the mother 52:59 who got it from Satan 53:00 and the daughters have embraced this same teaching 53:02 because she's a mother, she has daughters, 53:04 and the power comes from Satan himself. 53:07 Now let's begin with question number 33. 53:10 We're moving right along pretty well, 53:12 but I don't think we're going to get through all of these. 53:14 But here we go. 53:15 Question number 33, 53:17 "What are some of the Harlot's teachings 53:20 influenced by Satan?" 53:23 Tonight, I want to go back to the very first teaching 53:26 of the harlot that the harlot has embraced to this day 53:29 the very first teaching that she was influenced by, 53:33 and you're going to amazed when you read the text. 53:35 Quickly, Genesis 3:4. 53:38 Now is the Harlot a male or a female? 53:42 Male or female? 53:43 Is the Harlot a male or female? 53:45 Female, because she's a mother, right? 53:47 And Revelation says, 53:48 "The woman, the woman, the woman." 53:50 Now this is huge. 53:51 Genesis 3:4, are you ready? 53:52 Let's go there. 53:54 Let's go there. Let's go there. 53:55 Whoa! 53:56 This is powerful because Revelations, 53:58 the message didn't begin in Revelation. 54:00 It started from the Book of Genesis. 54:02 And all the components in Revelation started 54:04 from the very first lie 54:05 and you're going to see right now, 54:07 the liar talking to the one that got who swallowed the lie. 54:11 The one that swallow the lie has perpetuated the lie. 54:15 Here it is. 54:16 Okay, together, 54:17 "Then the," what? 54:19 "Serpent said to the," who? 54:21 "Woman, 'You'll not surely die.' " 54:24 This is huge. 54:26 The serpent has been lying to the woman 54:28 ever since the fall of man in Eden. 54:33 And the woman is the same symbol used 54:36 in Revelation 18 to describe the harlot. 54:40 He said it to her, 54:42 "What did she do next?" 54:44 What did the woman do next? 54:45 Come on, we all know the story. 54:47 When he told her she wouldn't die, 54:49 who did she tell? 54:51 She told what? 54:53 She right away became an evangelist 54:56 for the devil. 54:57 She told him the same lie that the devil told her. 55:00 Now this is a powerful spiritual connection. 55:02 The lie that Satan has told to the harlot woman, 55:05 she's now been telling to other people. 55:07 And you'll be able to trace this 55:09 all around the world. 55:11 What's the first lie he told, write it down. 55:15 You won't die, you won't die. 55:19 And today, 55:22 let's go to the question number 34, 55:23 let's go quickly. 55:25 I'll elaborate later on. I'll elaborate later on. 55:29 But I'll let the Bible speak for itself. 55:31 Here it is. Okay. 55:33 The first lie he ever told was, "You won't really die." 55:36 The question, what is the truth 55:38 that counter acts 55:40 the teaching on the immortal soul? 55:44 What is the truth that counteracts 55:46 the teaching on the immortal soul? 55:49 All right. 55:51 Okay. 55:52 Go to Ecclesiastes 9:5-6. 55:55 All right. 55:57 Okay, let's go there. 56:00 All right. 56:01 Are you all ready? 56:03 I'm going to read it now for the interest of time. 56:05 Together, "For the living know 56:09 that they will die, 56:11 but the dead know," how much? 56:14 "Nothing, 56:16 and they have no more reward, 56:19 for the memory of them is forgotten." 56:21 That means their mind cease to function. 56:24 That's what happened... 56:25 Their mind is no longer working. 56:27 They're not thinking about closed accounts 56:29 and people that are hanging out of their house. 56:31 Look what else it goes on to say 56:32 about this very same interaction. 56:35 It says, "Also their," what? 56:37 "Love, their," what else? 56:39 "Hatred, their," what else? 56:42 "Envy have now," what? 56:44 "Perished. 56:46 Nevermore will they have a share in anything. 56:52 what? "Done under the sun." 56:55 How long? 56:56 Nevermore. 56:58 Now, I'm looking at my next text 57:00 that's going to come up, 57:01 and I'm going to hit it very quickly. 57:03 Okay? Here it is. 57:04 It's not on your scripture, it's not on your sheet, 57:06 I included this as annexure. 57:08 Let's write this down on this sheet. 57:10 Ezekiel 18:4. Ezekiel 18:4. 57:14 It's on the screen, so you can bring it up. 57:15 Here's what the Bible says about the immortal soul. 57:18 Together, "Behold, all souls are Mine, 57:23 the soul of the father 57:24 as well as the soul of the," what? 57:26 "Son is Mine," together, 57:28 "the soul who sins shall," what? 57:30 "Die." 57:32 Is there anything called an immortal soul? 57:34 No. Only God has immortality. 57:37 Now, we will get the gift of immortality. 57:40 We will put on immortality at the Second Coming of Christ. 57:43 But there is no such thing as you'll not surely die. 57:46 Satan told that lie and, friends, today, 57:48 many people have believed that lie. 57:51 Here at A Sharper Focus, we believe that the truth 57:53 will make you free 57:54 and we're going to continue proclaiming the truth. 57:56 If it doesn't make sense, 57:58 keep consulting God's Word 57:59 because I can assure you one day, 58:01 it'll all come into A Sharper Focus. 58:04 God bless you. |
