which was the
place where the languages

were first confused.

It was a structure built,
because men did not trust God.

And so when you talk about
the topic of spiritual Babylon,

it is a system built

that is not
established on trusting God,

it was built because
it does not trust God.

But what's so
deceptive about it is,

and this is the place

balance has to come in,

is the people of God,

many people that love the
Lord are in spiritual Babylon.

is to come out of her My people.

Let's go to
Revelation 18, very quickly.

Let's speak of that.

this in a few past weeks.

But just to lay the foundation.

And the reason why
this topic is so tender,

is that there are
people that love the Lord

that are in
churches all over the world,

in movements all over the world,

whether they
are Christian based,

or whether they
are New Age based,
00:07:18.40\00:07:21.20
there are people
that sometimes have
00:07:21.24\00:07:22.60
a shallow
understanding of who God is.
00:07:22.64\00:07:24.97
Some people say, they
are followers of Jesus,
00:07:25.01\00:07:28.11
but because of where they are,
00:07:28.14\00:07:30.05
the messages are not
that clearly understood.
00:07:30.08\00:07:33.28
And so tonight as we talk about

the truth about
spiritual Babylon,

there are people that
are all over the world

that love the Lord,

and so God is not
speaking about the people,

He's talking about the system.

What is He
talking about? System.
00:07:48.46\00:07:49.90
The system.
00:07:49.93\00:07:51.27
So spiritual
Babylon is a system,
00:07:51.30\00:07:53.64
a system upon which
falsehoods, false teachings,
00:07:53.67\00:07:57.54
or lack of trust in
God, deception, darkness,
00:07:57.57\00:08:00.94
and I go so far
00:08:00.98\00:08:02.31
as the Bible has
described as demonic possession.

Because the Bible
says in Revelation 18,
00:08:06.85\00:08:08.62
it has become the
cage of every foul spirit,

unclean and hateful bird.
00:08:11.65\00:08:13.69
And demons dwell there,

not in a sense of
Halloween, so to speak,
00:08:15.52\00:08:19.19
but in the sense
of great darkness
00:08:19.23\00:08:21.00
and great deception.

And because God is not
going to reform Babylon,

before He destroys it,

He's calling His
people to do, what?

Look at Revelation 18:1.

We're gonna go down to verse 4.

The Bible reads as follows,

things, I saw another angel

coming down from
heaven, having great authority,

and the earth was
illuminated with His glory

or lightened with the glory.

And he cried," verse 2,

"He cried
mightily with a loud voice,

saying, 'Babylon
the great is," what?

Fallen.

"Is falling, is fallen,
and has become the habitation,"

notice this, "of
demons or devils,

a prison for every foul spirit."

Notice the Holy
Spirit's not there,

foul spirits are there,

"and a cage for every
unclean and hated bird!'"

And here's what the
impact of Babylon is.

Verse 3, "For all
the nations have drunk

of the wine of the
wrath of her fornication."

Now, when you look at that,

the rest of the verse,

and I'll just share with you

and it says and
goes on, it says,

"The kings of the earth,"
that means political leaders,

and religious leaders alike,

secular leaders, the
category is quite broad,

"have committed
fornication with her,
00:09:43.35\00:09:45.88
and the merchants of
the earth have become rich,
00:09:45.91\00:09:49.75
through the
abundance of her luxury.'"
00:09:49.78\00:09:52.65
And so verse 4 is the key verse,

that pivotal verse.

"And I heard another
voice from heaven saying,"

"come out of her," what?

In verse 5, it tells us,

Now in order to
understand the power of verse 5,

you have to understand
the actual Babel on the tower,

because God destroyed it.

And when you read Genesis 9,

the Bible talks about

that this tower has
reached unto heaven.

They built this, this
winding and no one really today,

we don't really have any
artifacts or antiquities,

or obviously no
pictures of how it looked.

But based on the culture,

it could have
been a winding tower,

winding its way
into the heavens,

and the Lord in the Word,
in the Book of Genesis says,

the tower has
reached into heaven.

And so when it says that Babylon

sins have reached into heaven,

that means it's soon
time to destroy Babylon.

tower reached to the heaven,

in the day and age
