and he saw heaven.

But there had
been through the years

many, many
claims of people saying,

they've gone to heaven.

Most recently,

a little boy said
that he went to heaven.

He doesn't, I don't know

if he said how
long he was there.

But I remember there was a book
written number of years ago,

I think it was
either 30 Minutes in Heaven

or 20 Minutes in Heaven,

I don't know how many
minutes they were there.

But if you read the Bible,

the Bible says no one
has ascended to heaven.

What about Moses
who was resurrected?

the Bible tells us about,

outside of them,

the only one that has
ascended to heaven is Jesus.

man who is in heaven."

Do people die and go to heaven?

everybody is in heaven.

their soul is in heaven.

If you, whatever
the form of death,

today, when you
listen to the news,

everybody goes to heaven.

Matter of fact, years ago,

there was a movie
called "All Dogs Go to Heaven."

But that's our society.

And we live in a world
where people are beginning

to form their opinions
about theological topics,

based on movies and media,

or based on as one person
in the political world said,

"If you say it long enough,

somebody will
begin to believe it."

But we want to begin to believe
the Bible and the Bible only,

isn't that right?

Now, we don't know
very much about heaven

except what
Revelation reveals to us.

And now this is
something I thought about,

I wanted to say
this before we go

and begin to look in the Bible.

What John has shown us
in Revelation 20 and 21

about heaven,

he's really
describing the New Jerusalem.

He's not describing
the whole kit and caboodle.
00:09:43.75\00:09:46.61
He's just
describing the New Jerusalem,

the walls, the
gates, the foundation,

all that is with
the river of life,

the tree that bear
fruit all through the year,

the leaves off of the
healing of the nations,

he describes the New Jerusalem.

But one of the reasons

why that's not the
complete picture of heaven

because Paul the Apostle says,

neither has it
entered into the heart of man,

the things that God has prepared

"Love Him."

So we really don't know

what heaven in
its totality is life.

But I would say this,

there's nothing on earth
