But God gave them many
gifts, freedom of choice.

these things developed

about the creation, story.

God gave them freedom of choice.

And one of the things
we want to bring out here

is that God gave them dominion.

He gave them dominion,

according to the
things that we mentioned.

And so Genesis 1:31,

we see here that God
is looking at everything

that He has made
and makes a declaration.

And the evening and the

God doesn't
make mediocre things.

things that look, "Oh, less.

are very good, perfect.

And it pleased Him to
look at His creation and say,

all their thoughts were holy,

mind was to please God,

So all their actions

Let's look at this.

This is marvelous to
see in the scriptures,

We are going to
see one of the reasons

why God created this world,
and those that live in it.

Ephesians 2:10, tells us,
"For we are His workmanship,

Jesus unto good works,

which God hath before ordained
that we should walk in them."

So what were Adam and
Eve supposed to walk in them?

In good works,
to do good things.

with beautiful things to behold.

I mean, they could go anywhere
in God's creation and say,

marvelous experience.

What do the scriptures tell us?

which is the great
commandment in the law?"

So first of all, he
was supposed to love God

Now, let's look at the second,

hang all the law
and the prophets."

So what do we
see summarized here,

These two great commandments,

and these two hang all the law

And this is the way Adam
and Eve were supposed to live,

continued to live this way,

had not the tempter come,

You see, freedom of
choice expressed there.

tree of the knowledge

of good and evil,

thou shalt not eat of it,

for in the day
that thou eatest thereof

So, that was
the one prohibition.

obey God in this regard?

knows how many hundreds,

if perhaps thousands of trees
of which they could eat off.

Of every tree in the
garden you could freely eat.

And so if you have
hundreds and hundreds

of things you could do,

and God said,
"Don't do this one thing."

Is that hard or is that easy?

It's very easy to say,
"Oh, God has given me so much.

And he just said,
don't eat of that.

That's not a big deal.

We can handle that."

And so that's what it was.

Of course, we
remember the narrative

that Satan came in to tempt Eve.

We're not gonna go
through that whole narrative.

But we all know that
Adam and Eve failed this test.

It was a test of loyalty.

So what happened
after Adam and Eve sin?

Did they die right away? No.

Let's take a look at that.

And consider the ramifications

happened to Adam and Eve.

They were created, very good.

All their thoughts
were pure and holy.

Their thoughts were very good.

But when they sinned,
their nature became corrupt.

They lost the privilege to eat

of the trees that
were in the garden

because they were
cast out of the garden.

And they were forbidden

from eating of the tree of life.

Also, they lost the privilege
to live in the Garden of Eden.

the experience of today,

So they lost their privilege
