about the signs of the end.

Now if deception didn't matter,

But deception is
an art of the devil.

one of the reasons

why Eve fell into temptation

what the devil said.

understand the Bible truth,

church, rush out of church.

to go back into
our secular mindset

because we can't handle a
whole day of holy activity.

It's a sad reality.

But the churches today,

even Seventh-day
Adventist churches

that honor the Sabbath,

many of them are
suffering from lethargy

because they
can't give the whole day

to spiritual activity.

And this is the day of powerful.

And I'm going to share
a few stories in the Bible

as to what Jesus did
when it came to the Sabbath.

He didn't just
go to the synagogue,

He didn't just stand up to read.

He didn't just
worship His Father,

there are a number of
other things that He did,

which in fact, we could do also
when the Sabbath comes to us.

If we were to put
that together today,

you know, we have cornfields

you know, you don't want to walk

through a cornfield
because you get lost

because they're a
lot taller than we are.

But if you walk
through a grain field

or if you walk
through an apple orchard,

you won't necessarily
get lost in an apple orchard,

I mean you can,

you may walk
through an orange grove,

but what is being said here

is as they were strolling
together on the Sabbath,

Jesus and His disciples
walk through a grain field

and His disciples.

If you've seen grain
before, you kind of pluck it,

and the wheat are
inside the kernels.

So they pop the kernels,

kind of like you
open a pistachio,

and they threw the
grains in their mouths.

And that got the
religious leaders upset

because by the
time Jesus said come,

they had built up
so many legalistic,

non scriptural,
non godly traditions

that they had anchored on
the shoulder of the Sabbath,

they made it such a burden
00:11:46.67\00:11:48.90
that Jesus had to
undo that and show them
00:11:48.94\00:11:51.71
what the real
Sabbath is all about.

And there's a reason I'm talking

about this right now.

"And the Pharisees,"
verse 24, "said to Him, 'Look,"

I can hear them now say, "Look,

why do they do

lawful on the Sabbath?'"

The Pharisees, by this point,

had made this act
an agricultural act.

In other words,
if you're hungry,

and you pick an apple,

they say, "Ah,
you're harvesting."

And that's
ridiculous. They made this.

"Ah, that's an act of
harvest, don't do that."

You know, it got so bad,
if they spat on the ground,

they said they were
actually irrigating the soil.

And there are some places today,

I mean, I'm from New York City,

you can go to some
hospitals in New York,

and they have the Jewish,
they have the Sabbath elevator,

where it stops at every floor

because still today,
some legalistic Jews believe

that if you press a
button, you violate the Sabbath.

That is one of the reasons,
