so vitally important to me.

As we're living
in the day and age,

where the Gospel has
been given a new definition.

You know all
you've got to do to change

the meaning of
something is add a new prefix.

In other words,
instead of saying the Gospel,

which is the good news
call it the social Gospel,

or the prosperity Gospel,
or the regeneration Gospel,

or the cultural Gospel.

And there are so
many new definitions

being given now
to the Gospel that

you don't really hear
much about being victorious.

Not a whole lot
about how to overcome sin.

But a lot is being
talked about in the sense of

how to have a strong portfolio

or as some of
the books out there

the seven highly
effective habits of

victorious or
successful Christians.

It's more on success
rather than on victory.

And when you read the Bible

you don't find the
phrase social Gospel

or prosperity
Gospel but you find

the word Gospel which
is the good news. Right?

understand what it means

to be victorious
then you get to the place

where you are not ashamed,
not only to talk about Gospel

but to live and exemplify
the Gospel in your life.

things we learn last week.

That's a powerful topic.

children would appreciate

Because that's a
real born again topic.

But here's what I
want to point out.

You know there is
something that the Lord did

long before we knew
we would ever need it.

There's a phrase that's used.

A matter of fact,
let me begin the phrase

and I guess you'll end it.

Where there is a
will-- There is a way.

Now where there is a will
there's a lot of relatives.

But truly where there
is a will there is a way.

Isn't that true?

All of a sudden
when you get a will

people show up
that never visited you.

The Lord made a way long before

we even knew what his will is.

Now what his will was because
his will is still his will.

was when it comes to Jesus.

But more than 2,000 years ago

now that we're in

provision for everyone
of us to be victorious.

accept the Gospel

but even more than just
understanding in intellectually

you begin to put
yourself in the will of God,

you will all of a
sudden appropriated something

that was available for you
long before you even knew it.

Let me use this illustration.

Say for example, when
you read the book of Mathew,

by the way it talks about
42 generations before Christ,

Abraham 40 generations,
and 40 generations and 40,

just think briefly.

before Jesus

What they didn't understand,

by faith through Abraham that

Now let's take
that fast forward.

Let's start from
Jesus' date and hours

how many generations

that is but
about 2,000 plus years.

as is the case for some of us,

available to them that

really benefit from it.

Christian motivational speakers

nowadays have taken the stage

whereas the Gospel is saving

and it's almost
like if you try hard,

if you rearrange your finances
00:11:30.56\00:11:34.05
then you'll see
the blessings of God.

But here I'm here
today to tell you this.

That's what the
Bible in essence is saying,
